Have eaten here twice and both times was for a Christmas party. Food was beautiful both times and service was excellent. Very friendly waiters. It was been very quiet in the restaurant any time I've been there so the atmosphere hasn't been great. Food is delicious however so would definitely recommend.

We first discovered Dylan restaurant at a Dublin food festival and it has since become a favourite destination for us as a special treat. The food has been perfect on each of our visits and the staff are polite and very attentive without being intrusive. Our last meal here was superb, scallops and crispy pork belly cooked to perfection, followed by wonderfully cooked lamb and finished with a raspberry creme brulee for me, with my partner having a fennel soup, sea bream and vanilla cheese cake mousse with berries - having tasted a little of his dishes also, I can say that I was impressed by everything. Its worth noting that neither of us would normally order dessert as we don't particularly enjoy sweet things, however given the level of skill demonstrated by the kitchen in the previous courses, we had to find out if this carried through to the desserts. The restaurant is on the expensive side, so it really is more of a treat but I did notice on our last visit that they had a summer special menu which seemed very reasonably at about €35 (I think!) for 3 courses and included a glass of prosecco. There is an outside area at the front where you can sip your wine / coffee after dinner and also a lovely enclosed beer garden area off the bar which is also very pleasant for after dinner drinks. We'll definitely be back and continue to recommend to friends and colleagues.

Wow what decor - I LOVED this hotel. We had Sunday lunch which was good value for the surroundings. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I was very disappointed with my starter which was goat's cheese & beetroot salad with a filo top. I have had similar so many places and this has to be worst! I got a good 1/4 bag of lettuce on the plate with a few scoops of non-descript cheese and some chunks of beetroot with a (I would think reheated) filo top. Not a good start. The main was better - I went for pork and it was very nice. The dessert was the ultimate - I had the eton mess and it was swoonalicious!!! I've had evenings since, that I've craved that dessert! One thing that really impressed me was they gave my brother-in-law a sample of a wine they thought he might like, before having to commit to buying it. Would love to stay here - would just go to drool over the fabulous decor!

We had friends visiting Dublin who were staying in Dylan so we decided to check out the restaurant. They run a €35 menu during the week, which includes a glass of Prosecco. The restaurant was only half full but there was still a nice atmosphere as the bar is beside the restaurant. The staff were very friendly, not stuffy at all. We had a few cocktails before dinner. For mains I had the skate, the most under rated of all fish, and a gem to find on a menu. My partner went for the a la carte and had lobster lawyer, which was beautiful. Desserts were equally good as we decided to go down the dessert cocktail route. All in all very good, stylish place to go for dinner and drinks in one.

I had my sons First Communion lunch here in May. We were a party of 30. I could not fault the place! We had fantastic service and the food was fabulous. Everyone who attended commented on the beautiful food and service. We had 3 tables dedicated to our party, one of which consisted of children only (who were in and out of the bathrooms constantly and the staff didnt seem to mind TOO much). The staff couldnt have been nicer and the value for money was, in my opinion, fantastic. I would definitely recommend this venue for an occasion. The pricing of the lunch menu is very competitive, however my only critical point would be that the cost of tea/coffee could be reviewed (4.50 is a bit steep). I will return!

This place represents all that is bad about hotel restaurants. We had booked the restaurant for my nieces' communion lunch it was deplopable from start to finish. Our party was 14 in size and we had 1 waiter looking after our table helplessly, while the other 4 staff stood behind the bar and at the till chatting. There was no visible sign of a manager and when we requested to speak with him or her we where told that they were unable to locate him or her ( quite bizarre) At one stage we order a pint of Guinness for the table and i had to get out of my seat mid meal to tell the 4 staff who were chatting at the bar to send the pint over. The pint( which had been left standing for over 15 mins and was gone tired and flat looking ) was just topped off and served. This is not the type of quality of service that you'd expect from a supposed 4 star hotel. There appears to be a sense of loss here when these guys are presented with a party bigger than the usual parties of 2 or 4.The food was distinctly below average and the service even worse. The kids choice was an after thought , so the hotel management are obviously trying to send me a message by putting no imagination into their dishes. This was an horrific experience for what should of been a little girls celebration communion lunch , ' pure tripe' of the highest calibre. Whatever dont attempt to bring your family here and definately dont go if you're looking for a culinary education. It goes down as the worse dining experience in our families living memory. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!

Had my daughters communion here. Was a party of 9 adults and 5 children. Service was very bad. Waited 30 minutes for order to be taken, even tho there was only one other couple in restaurant. Were never approached for drinks orders, had to approach waiters ourselves. Ordered a pint of guiness, the pint sat on the bar for 20 mins before we asked for the drink. On speaking to the manager, we found her to be very disinterested in our concerns about the service we were receiving. The childrens meals arrived well after the adults, including the desserts. The food was good, but the bad service far outweighed any good. Will not be going back, or wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

went for dinner here on friday night...have had drinks here plenty of times but this was my first time trying out the food. the restaurant looked great and service was really prompt. there were only 2 other people in there so the atmosphere was a bit lacking. i went for the fish as my mains and my friend went for the steak and he also got chunky chips. food was good....not amazing but i enjoyed it all the same. didn't bother with the dessert....we sat out in the bar and had a cocktail then. i'll certainly come back here for drinks, not so sure that i would for the food.

Met a friend for a late lunch and a chat. .As the bar was empty it's hard to judge for atmosphere. It improved as it got busier. It feels quite dated with backround instrumentals from a bygone era. It's nice and bright for daytime. Staff were nice and friendly but service was a little slow, considering there was no-one else in the bar. Portions of food were generous, and quality was very good. I was disappointed there was no risotto on the menu, as I had a look online before I went, and had decided that was what I would have. I just think it is so easy to edit menus online daily, if they change daily. It's easily rectifyable and avoids customer disappointment. I think people do make their choice of restaurant after having looked at menus online.

This has to be one of the finest dining experiences. We were staying here so enjoyed the Saturday Night in there restaurant. The service was impeccable. We were eating of the Christmas Menu and it was fantastically tasty and full marks for presentation. They have an extensive wine selection albeit a little pricey. There weren't many here due to the bad weather but I've no doubt with food like that theirs rarely a seat to be got.The atmosphere was cosy and the staff friendly. The meal for two came to €130 including two glasses of Chablis. Well worth a try.

Still is in the Dylan hotel, this makes it a quality setting for dining, nice ambience in the dining room, good bar and great facilities, more importantly the cocktails are exquisite. The food although not inexpensive is wonderful, they do however do brunch and early bird deals, could not recommend this restaurant highly enough in terms of service, quality of ingredients and ambience. Ordered a pork belly starter however when our table was being served with other starters the waiter apologies that this had now finished and offered me a choice of other starters, I instead chose rabbit which was delivered to the table immediately followed by another starter of scallops just incase the rabbit ws not to my liking and also a complimentary glass of wine. The owners and management have hit the spot with this restaurant and do everything to cater for diners needs and wants, have no hesitation in recommending this at all!! enjoy!!

A lady friend took me here on a recent Saturday evening, and, not for the first time recently, our hopes of an alfresco aperitif were dashed, this time by the miserable weather. We instead had a snifter in the lounge, which was more stylish than it was comfortable, with its nursery-sized stools and bordello-esque sofas. The dining room was not full but had a good buzz to it, aided by a number of young, stylish ladies. Service was prompt and friendly but the menu and wine list were both on the small side. I started with a crayfish salad, but this was almost all leaves and had much less crayfish than I would find in an Insomnia crayfish sandwich. My friend quite liked the gravdlax. As herself was paying, I went for the fillet steak, which was excellent meat but done medium-well instead of medium as I had asked. My companion found the lamb portion a bit too much, but the chocolate fondant was very good indeed. Her choice of St Emilion was very suitable and good value. Overall an enjoyable meal, and I would have no problem with a return visit.

Since opening a few years ago, the restaurant at the Dylan has constantly being trying to reinvent itself, and although it's a LOT better now that it was in its earlier days as 'Still' (when it was going for fine dining dead atmosphere and ingredients but without the quality of cooking to pull it together), it's still not there yet. It really fails to make sense when you consider the excellent Dylan bar with much better food and atmosphere in the very next room. As regards value, they've recently launched a new cheaper menu, and it's far better value than before, but it doesn't seem to be available all the time, which is a shame and it's still more expensive than it ought be. In contrast, eating in the bar in the next room is a far better, more enjoyable and more consistent experience. The only problem for a meal is the silly tables in the bar (which are fab for a bar, but not great for dinner plates). The service in the bar is fantastic, but I've found the staff in the restaurant dining room a little disinterested. Also frustrating for regular visitors is that the menu doesn't change much, and what I REALLY miss from the 'Still' days are the excellent desserts. The chocolate fondant is supurb, but I hate ordering the same thing every time. They really need to start pitching this right, a much fresher, more interesting wider menu that changes more often. It's a shame that they're not seeming to make the effort on this as the venue is lovely. They've recently started doing barbecues outside although this is more the bar again than the restaurant. What would be great is if they took part of the back garden of the hotel and spilled the restaurant in there for some better atmosphere.

My husband & I went here for a romantic dinner, oh the disppointment! A freezing cold night out, no one took our jackets and the dining room looked a bit grubby with everyones scarves, coats etc trailing off their chairs. We ordered prosecco and wine for our meal, the wine came first was opened and left on the table, we didn't get to taste it. Starters arrived but no one had cleared away the bread or side plates. My salmon can only be described as positively scabby, it was a slice of salmon, 2 capers, and a sliver of lemon, my main was extremely plain but a better sixed portion (2 courses were €32 but only worth about €16 in my opinion). My husband faired better with his main of pork belly, very tasty but it would have wanted to be, his starter was tiny also. At no point did anyone pour our wine, pour us water or ask if we needed anything. I think what said it all was when we had to pay for our €150 meal, they gave us a Four Seasons pen to sign. An absolute rip off for ok food and no joke, zero service. Never again!

Superb atmosphere, staff and food was exceptional. We visited on a recommendation for the first time. I had soft hens egg with wild mushroom soilders - delicious and brought me back to my childhhood! Then lobster for main course, decadent and fresh, my partner had goats cheese and pork belly, such comfort food and quality portions. The staff were exceptionally helpfull and then we retired to the bar for a nightcap of trendy cocktails. We will be back again and again, thanks dylan!!

Myself and my Partner had a very enjoyable lunch at the Dylan. Having read some of the reviews posted I was a bit apprehensive of what was to come however I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experince. While the restaurant was not particularly busy ( it was 2.30pm) the service was very attentive. The food when it did arrive was delicious. I particularly recommend the Ham Hock Starter with Quail Egg and the Fresh Smoked Haddock main. All at a very reasonable 14.50 for 2 courses. I believe the hotel has recently employed a new General Manager and on this evidence the manager has clearly improved the kitchen and the overal dining experience. I will definitely be returning for lunch soon

Looks like they have given up !!! when you go into a restaurant that is so dead the only thing to rescue it is the food which was not the case here, it was so bad and we were astonished how some one could stand over this standard of cooking it is a shame as the place has so much going for it but a total lack of care is evident, would not return even if someone else is paying, will spend my business lunches elsewhere.

I visited the Dylan with my partner on the Menupages dinner night out. The initial impression was good, but I have to say I found the food to be rather disappointing. I had a goats cheese starter that was just OK, followed by the fish with was Bream. It was very fishy and not nice at all. I don't think we will be back.

Not what I was expecting. To be honest, I'd heard soo much about the Dylan I was expecting alot, but did I get it... no. Food was normal (nothing special). Service was good. I suppose the biggest questions is... would I go back... probably not!

Very disappointing. I have to declare I am not a great fan of hotel restaurants. Give me a chef/patron restaurant any day. But I am open minded as always. We went to the bar for a drink. What is it...who thought of the design. Too clever by half and it ended up reminding me of an upmarket bordello waiting room or a tacky basement nightclub. Dark, pokey and weird silly décor...for a bar. Anyway we were here for the food...so to table. The dining room right next to the psychedelic bar is a total contrast. Bright and clinical with set rows of tables...(so what's the overall theme here??) Starters of goats cheese...tasted just as it says on the tin...and my chicken terrine which was just ok. Mains of sea bream with mussels which was good and my lamb. O dear. Did the chef not see that it was 75% (no exaggeration) fat? How could this escape any professional kitchen? Awful. My Gf's dessert of crème brulee was very good with mine an odd concoction. Hard brownie(?) melted ice cream and what was that tasteless chocolate slice??? I heard good things about this hotel...and was sadly disappointed. There is far, far better food and atmosphere to be had not too far away. No Dylan....you let us, and more so yourselves, down this night.

Don't go there for the food! The Dylan has a very nice atmosphere to it, especially the bar and outside area both the front part of the building as well as the 'garden' side. The drinks are very good and the coffees too. However, the food never lives up to anywhere near my expectations. I think the only thing safe to order is the soup. Any other menu items are either undercooked or served cold. In fairness, staff did try to rectify the situation but even the second time round, it was disappointing.

I attended the MenuPages night in the Dylan I was really dissapointed with the food I have attended a lot of the Menupages nights and the food here was the most dissapointing when I thought it would have been the best. It wont put me off the Menupage nights they are great fun and great value they give you the chance to eat in different restaurants around Dublin for a great price you cant go wrong. There is always a great crowd I usual go with a couple of friends and by the end of the night we have met new people and had a great laugh. The hostess Sinead aranges free entry into Lillies and a reserved area in the VIP lounge so the night always end up there...and I end up with a hangover the next morning but its worth it!looking forward to the next one already thanks Menupages.

We booked a table here for a special 20th anniversary dinner. We were really disappointed with both the food and the service. The choice on the menu at these prices was very limited. It took us quite some time to decide as nothing really whetted our appetite. all courses ok but nothing to write home about...chowder so creamy it couldnt be finished. the best part of the meal was the 'amuse bouche' which was a really nice pea puree/soup... it all went downhill from there. really annoying member of staff who interrupted our conversation all the time to ask us silly questions!!! Our other waiter did his best to keep us placated.. the music that was playing in the background was very annoying and was better suited to an upmarket bar not a restaurant.(we told them so). i dont we will be going back - not at these prices anyway.

We went here for the menu pages night out so this may be more a review of that than of what the dylan is normally like. I was very disappointed by the whole night. there was a good crowd so the atmosphere was good and the staff were nice but the food was bland and served in tiny portions. I paid €50 for a three course meal with wine and i got one and a half glasses of wine (if you wanted you glass refilled you had to find an elusive waitor and ask for more and then they would just give the dregs of a bottle) and after eating i wanted a bag of chips! for starter i had the chicken terrine which i dont even remember it was so bland, for the main course i had the sea bream which to be fair was delicious but it was served on a bad of mash with prawns and crab meat that had no flavour at all.

Ate here last night with three friends and we were all really impressed. The decor might not be to everyone's taste but it is certainly different. Really like their background music, which was playing a perfect level. The early bird E30 menu is great value. There isn't a huge choice but we all found something that we liked. Goats cheese starter was very tasty, my friend (who went a la carte) loved her scallops. The sea bream was delicious, perfectly cooked and a very healthy sized portion. The cod was declared 'gorgeous' and the lamb was wolfed down. We also enjoyed a lovely Argentinian wine priced at a very reasonable E29. Our only quibble, and it' a small one, it that it was fairly quiet, would have liked a few more bodies in the room, as I'm sure they would have too. While the food was great it was the service that truly stood out. Friendly and enthusiastic without being in the least bit obtrusive. The Dylan can definitely expect our repeat business.

A superb dinner out for our party. Every dish was executed to perfection and the wine recommendations were perfect matches to our orders too. I would praise the lamb and all desserts in particular. Faultless service to top it all up, added to a great experience. Dylan has put down prices and the atmosphere is a bit more relaxed than before (it was probably the classiest venue in town) but quality has not suffered from this change. Still one of the best restaurants in Dublin!

Went here with my family for the 35€ menu and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals no complaints from anyone.Really stylish restaurant and fab cocktails at the bar after dinner.

I was disappointed with pricing of the 3 courses for €35 menu - a supplement for the only meat dish, sides are extra, coffee over €4 - why not advertise a €50 menu and let people know what to expect??

I really love the food at the Dylan. I have visited twice and will go again. The service is excellent and the food is beautiful, delicate and sooo tasty. Small portions of course, but because of all the courses you come out full anyway. Definitely up there as one of the nicest restaurants I've been to.

After reading several good reviews about the restaurant in the Dylan I was expecting great things. Unfortunately it was back to same old story an overrated poor dining experience. I am used to being surrounded by deluded ‘Celtic Tiger’ types who would celebrate beans on toast as a culinary master piece if the back page of the Sunday Independent announces it as the fashion. It might just be me but I think the décor of the bar resembles a bordello and if you are tall the chairs and table have to be the worst design I have ever experienced. My starter of seared scallops was completely lost with overpowering sweet golden raisin. The scallops were overcooked and tasteless. My main of the trio of pork was full of promise but again failed to deliver. The loin was undercooked, belly was overcooked and the black pudding was of the non-descript supermarket variety. My partner’s Sea Bass was undercooked and placed on top of a ‘heap’ of tasteless risotto that I am sure was long grain rice and coated with the that old favourite – foam. The only light in this 1980’s sudo French effort is the service

Tried the new Table D'Hote menu at €30, great value and very nice too. The outside area is great to finish off the evening with a coffee.

Fantastic! Ate here last night for the first time. The decor is really cool and funky. Great value. €30 for three courses and the food was excellent value especially as every course was very high quality. I can't recommend it highly enough. Service was friendly and professional throughout. Will definitely be returning. I can't believe how quiet it was. Can only assume people don't know about it!

I went here to a private party once and really enjoyed it. I absolutely love the decor! Food is ok, though I didn't think it was that great, I have no desire to go back there to eat again but I'd go to the bar for a lovely coctail. Service is great, as you'd expect in a place like this.

Has a lovely meal here last night, we had a late sitting so the place was very quiet. Would be nicer at the weekend when it's busy I'd say. Decor in the entire hotel is fab. We went for the €30 set menu which was very nice (although there are a few supplementary charges for certain dishes). The food was excellent, presentation exquisite. Have no complaints about any of the courses, they were all lovely. Worked out at €100 including tip for three courses and a couple of drinks. not bad at all for the quality of food and service.

Wow ate in this restaurant recently and have to say was very impressed with the service and the food. The early bird menu was great value at €30 and the waiter told me that the restaurant was recently done up. I have eaten in numerous restaurants in Dublin City and this would rank right up there with them. Thanks for a great evening and I will be back.

A good meal, but certainly not a great meal at the Dylan. The chicken & mushroom starter was beautifully presented but seriously over-salted. My main course of venison was a bit of a curate's egg - good in parts. The saddle of venison was excellent, and perfectly cooked. The tiny piece of shank however was dried up and stone cold. once again, someone had overdone the salt in the otherwise rich, tasty gravy. Service was poor. They restaurant was busy with a large party, and staff prioritised these tables. When I'm paying the Dylan's prices, I don't expect to have to ask for more water (a couple of times) or wait forever for food. We'll try it again for the 30 euro midweek menu, but the regular menu does not live up to expectations. There is much better value out there.

These guys have totally revamped their dining room recently and the atmosphere certainly benefits. The quality of the food & service is top notch and they are currently offering a really great midweek dinner deal of 3 courses for €30! Really excellent value!

Overpriced and disappointing. Very small portions, which would be fine if the food was of a high standard, but it lacked any real flavour. Service also disappointed with a waitress spilling sauce on our clothes. The experience lacked any positive note. Certainly not worth the money. Go elsewhere for a special occasion.

My first time at the Dylan and I wasnt all that fussed, to be honest. We were sitting in an empty dining room that lacked warmth and atmosphere and I promise that I wasn't disturbed by the interior design. I surmised that the designer learned his or her trade at the Lewis Carroll school of design. Nice, crisp napery but weird cutlery with handles at odd angles to blades and tongs made th food hard to handle and rendered me off balance. China with curlicues and scrolls straight from Debenhams china department didnt do me any favours either and I forewent the coffee experience because of this - luckily as it transpired judging by my partners sad experience. I ordered the vegetable soup and the duck main. It was unfortunate that the waitresss forgot to inform me of the complete title of the soup as there was cream in it which I abhor. The duck, however, was perfectly acceptable. The prices werent too bad and I stole some of my partners sandwich sized portion of bread and butter pudding. Why do restaurants do this and who do they think they are kidding?

Our weekly lunch date did not disappoint at Still. Opulently decorated dining room, friendly non intrusive service and absolutely top notch food which was well presented. Two coarses each plus wine and cappicinnos for under 50 quid . We would struggle to get 2 burgers and coffee in the hotel bar down the road. We will be back to sample more of what's on offer. Only 3 tables were occupied on Friday. Could this be one of Dublin's better kept secrets?

We came here recently for special night. Although the decor is different, good atmosphere, excellent service, good wine list, the food was VERY disappointing. Starters were just OK (cep risotto & chicken salad), however main courses were the big let down. We both had the Irish Roast Beef. The quality of the meat was very poor and not up to par at all. The chips and Bearnaise sauce weren't great either. Neither of us enjoyed it. This brought down the whole meal. I won't be going back for a while.

Went here recently for a meal and was pleasantly surprised. The dining room is unusual and clean with massive chairs at the back of the room and a leather padded bar area! The staff were friendly and the menu was nice and varied. We didn't have starters, but got plenty of bread and a l'amouse bouche which was unexpected of apple and celery soup. We had the cod and sea bream, both of which were delicious, and I loved the unusual cutlery and delph! We didn't have desserts, but were brought over a massive plate of petit fours, which we couldn't finish! It was pricey, but well worth a try. I will certainly be coming back soon!

The Dylan Hotel,(Still Restaurant) was chosen by my wife’s sister, she can choose in future - everything was superb; food, service and attention of staff was second to none. Yes it was a little expensive €470 for the four of us but well worth it when you take into consideration all the little extra's that come with your meal. Next time we might stay over night and extend the experience. Thank you to all.

Had dinner here on Saturday night. Best meal I’ve had in a long time. The food was exceptional. I had the Ballotine of rabbit to start and the Lamb as a main course. Both were wonderfully presented and tasted divine. Excellent, unobtrusive and attentive service too. I had reservations about the price, but when you factor in the complimentary amuse-bouche before every course and the petite four with the coffee - any concerns about value were wiped away. Unfortunately we chose the night of a rugby international and had occasions when a number of drunken D4 heads came in braying to their friends at the top of their voices - the proximity of the restaurant to the bar in the Dylan and having it so open can have it's downsides... But the food was amazing - I’m already penciling in a long lazy lunch when the weather changes for the better!!

Good food which was simple and classical French and excellent service. Heard mixed reports but we were not disappointed except for the dining room and in particular the awful uncomfortable chairs. Very much a typical hotel restaurant with a twist which you would soon tire of.

One of the most amazing meals I've had in Dublin. Booked the private Dining room with a group of my friends for a small celebration. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food sublime. I had the Ballotine of Rabbit, cèp risotto, black truffle & quails egg for my starter and the Irish Roast Beef Fillet, pomme anna, ham hock & pieds de moutons raviolo, pieds de moutons purée for my main. For dessert I had the Valrhona Chocolate Fondant, which was to die for! The portions appear small, but with the little pre-course tasters, I was left comfortably full. The wine list is extensive, and not overpriced, starting around 25 euro. The hotel is beautiful and modern. It was my first visit, but I will definitely be coming back for more.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Dylan. The food was delicious, and topped off by the little extra touches, such as the various intermezzos between courses. Decor was unusual and daring, but seemed to work quite well. Ideal for a posh nosh night out!

Had Christmas limited menu.Restaurant service very friendly but did take some time. The pre-course tasters were nice but did delay the delivery of the main food items considerably. Main criticism related to the seating available in the bar area while waiting before meal. Designed for fit, acrobatic types only. Seating very low and impossible for some to sit in. Enjoyable evening anyway !

Quirky hotel with some lovely decor. The bar lighting flatters rather than highlights! The restaurant menu and wine selection were appropriate for 'special' visits - and this was a special visit. Ten of us dined, two very serious 'foodies' and three very serious wine tasters. None were disappointed and a fairly broad selection from the menu was tried without complaint. In response to a special request, they even served oysters 'au natural'. Including wine, the bill topped €130 a head (and everyone walked out in straight lines!). Well worth a visit for that once in a blue moon treat.

Was here with friends on Saturday night. Very trendy Hotel and bar. I had the teal and fois gras to start, which was very nice, only gripe was that a tiny vein in the teal which was bloody and should have been removed. For mains I had the duck, again very nice and served with lovely creamy mashed potato. According to my husband the wine list is dismal - although huge! Expensive restaurant but nice for a treat.

Have been here twice now for special occasions and it is amazing - such attention to detail in food, service and surroundings. Food was top class with interesting combinations which worked perfectly. Huge wine list, with a great selection to suit all budgets and tastes. For a restaurant of this calibre i was surprised to find bottles in the mid twenties region. The food is quite pricey, starters between €14-18, mains between €28-38, desserts around €16 - but you get what you pay for. Was a really special evening and the great bar and outdoor area are an added bonus. trust me - try it and you won't be disappointed!

I had lunch here recently for a friend's birthday and it was absolutely perfect. Both of us were entirely satisfied with our meals. And even though the portions looked small, they were nicely filling. We didn't go for a starter but the fresh bread was just that. I love the way this restaurant, and indeed the entire hotel, is decorated. Attention is paid to every last detail.

A terrific location for a celebration. We started our evening with cocktails in the stylish bar (with a great smoking area) before proceeding into equally well-appointed restaurant. I was very impressed with my food and the service was terrific. One of my companions proclaimed "best starter ever!” We were informed when we ordered our wine that they only had one bottle left and another was recommended as an alternative, we stubbornly went ahead with our selection but our food and the atmosphere merited a second, which as promised by our waitress was delightful. Have promised myself a return visit for summer afternoon drinks on the terrace.

Girls should really grab all their mates and head here-the staff eye candy is amazing!!! On the more obvious notes, portions were perfect so you weren't an overflowing fat mess by the end and managed to eat all your dinner not just a tiny bit. Expensive but having eaten there I though they would charge more. HUGE wine list-the biggest one I have ever seen-literally! And its a really beautiful place and not too big. Perfect

Beautiful restaurant, I couldn't fault a thing and if you read my previous review on the port house you will know I have no problem passing on faults. Everything was perfect even down to hanging our coats with the sleeves lightly pressed out, not thrown on a coat rack like most restaurants. Possibly the best meal I have ever had and all staff were charming. If I could afford it I would eat here every day it is more than worth the prices charged.

Still is a really fantastic restaurant. We had the 8 course surprise menu and it was just terrific. We asked to send compliments to the chef and were told the head chef was off and the assistant chef would be delighted to hear our comments. Fantastic to find somewhere where the food is perfect when the boss isn't there. Had a great night lads cheers for the good food and service.

Myself and two friends stumbled upon Still having arranged to meet in the well stocked bar for a post Christmas drink. I would have to recommend it quite highly! The service was superb, the food very good, and the overall experience left all concerned with the impression that it was indeed worth the €140 per head it had cost to dine there, (although that did include pre-dinner cocktails and two bottles of superb 2005 Sancerre), which is no mean feat in itself! Very much a haunt of the young & the beautiful, yours truly excepted. Set menu weighs in at €75. A treat, but also just that. p.s. Rum fans will be delighted to know they can offer 21 year old Appleton! Not something one sees everyday - which is probably just as well at €15 per measure.

Still did not live up to my expectations at all. We started with 2glasses of pink champagne - it was flat. Then we had to ask for the wine to be opened, one of the raspberries on my crème brulee was mouldy and the chairs with no backs are very uncomfortable. The service was only ok, and not up to the level expected. The food presentation was good on the eye, but not memorable the tastes were at the same level. This is a place, which has "out of the norm decor", looks trendy and thinks that is enough...its not - comfort and attention to detail also matter, especially at the price level they are pitching.

Wow - this restaurant is amazing. It is pricey enough but well worth it - the food, service and surroundings are amazing. Top quality food, some of the best food I’ve eaten anywhere worldwide. The service is attentive but not in your face. Decor in restaurant and hotel itself has the wow factor. Well worth visiting, one of the best places to eat in Dublin, I’d say.
