Shanard 2.5 star review: Myself, my mam ad my sister ate here on Mothers Day - and we will not return! For starters we had the Cream of Vegetable Soup - which was burnt! We had the Beef and mixed vegetables and potatoes for the main and this dish was overcooked even though it was served with a savoury jus this dish was extremely dry!! To finish we had the Regency Medley of mini treats - this was also such a disappointment! There was one profiterole with a lack of chocolate sauce! A small strawberry cheesecake - which was just awful! A small trifle which was just edible! All three courses were equally as disappointing and in my opinion a waste of money! We will not be returning and unfortunately have nothing good to say reagrding the food we recieved!

Shanard 4.0 star review: Absolutely stuffed after a meal out here. Huge variety of food and extremely hospitable local staff. Comfortable settings. Looking forward to returning soon.

Shanard 3.5 star review: The restaurant was nice and spacious. Much better after the renovation. The four of us went over for euro 17.95 deal which included a four course meal and a quarter bottle of wine. The food was nice and simple, but came out a bit fast, which is not always the best thing. We were very pleased with the service, the waitress was very accommodating and friendly.
