Five stars just doesnt do this place justice. Had lunch here with a friend on Saturday and as always, we came away feeling happy and just so pleased with our afternoon out. The staff are amazing and the food is even better. The only problem is what to choose. The menu is extensive. I had the bread selection with pesto and hummus. Ate every morsel. Woth noting that I finished the pesto before all the bread was gone and they topped me up with pesto at no extra charge. My friend had the chicken and as she wasnt sure of how spicy it was going to be they allowed her to try before she ordered. Same with the wine. We were given a taster to make sure we got the right one. Thats the type of place that it is. I cannot reccomend it enough. The place has doubled in size recently - without losing any of the atmosphere. It's a real treat. Cant wait to go back.

Can't say enough good things about this place. It has become our new weekend breakfast place & they must be sick of the sight of us there!!! The food lives up to the restaurant's name it's amazing!!! The staff are all really friendlly. The prices are good too. You can get as little or as much as you can eat here with everything from tea & scones to full breakfasts. The sweet waffles with cream & chocolate sause is my new favourite!!

This restaurant is a great place to eat in Swords. It's location is a bit out of the way, however, it's worth a trip for the food. The goats cheese ciabatta is particularly good. The service is always excellent and I would definitely recommend it. For a take away tasty lunch or a sit down meal - it's fantastic.

Have eaten here many times, for brunch, lunch and tapas nights. So needless to say the fact that I keep going back means I very much like the place. It is such a welcome addition to swords, where we needed a few more good options for lunch/coffee shop in particular. The food is superb, very tasty, fresh, so much choice on the menu and daily specials. Always end up eatign too much. The portions are generous. The service is always with a smile and so welcoming. I love the cosy atmosphere day or night, winter or summer. It gets very busy at weekends so if going with a group booking a table is advisable. Tapas nights also are great. Lovely live music and great atmosphere.

I went here for lunch with many work colleagues. Make sure to reserve a table as the place is always very busy and it's tiny so fills up quickly! It's a nice experience- with about 20 different interesting sandwich choices, all served with a lovely walnut and apple salad. The service was quick enough, which was good for a work lunch. The food was decent and reasonably priced at around 7 euro. I wish there was a bit more space though as it felt cramped with the waitresses trying to get by our table. A pleasant experience but would probably be nicer for a smaller number of people.

We went to this place over the Xmas as we'd gotten a voucher for their afternoon tea which was delicious a selection of sandwiches and Spanish omelette plus a number of miniature pastries served with tea/coffee. The place was buzzing which was a good sign and some of their specials were sold out at 2 in the afternoon. Ill be heading back to try their Tapas night and for lunch again but would definitely recommend bookingas it’s not that big and can be quiet busy.

We just found out about this place about 2 weeks ago, we went for brunch the Sunday before last and were happy with everything except the long wait to pay. So anyway we decided to treat ourselves to breakfast this morning, big mistake! We were so disappointed, the only thing thing on our plates that was freshly cooked were the scrambled eggs. The sausages were hard and tasteless. We might try it again for a sambo as the staff are lovely and we like the place, but won't be doing breakfast again.

The quality of the tapas was simply excellent, from the delicious anti pasta, to the tiger prawns, chicken skewers and then to the sinful home made cheesecake with berries! I couldnt recommend this restaurant highly enough. The food, service and atmosphere is super!

Get yourself down here on a Fri night, great atmosphere with live music. Great Tapas and reasonably cheap. Walnut and gorgonzola Ravoli is the nicest pasta I've ever tasted yum yum and what a Glass of Cava at 5.50 per glass it's a great place for a girlie night out.

GFP Swords has quickly become my favourite haunt for breakfast/brunch at the weekends. Been there 3 times now and each time I left very satisfied. There menu has great choice and the best bit for me is they serve the breakfast menu all day on Sat and Sun! The staff are very welcoming and friendly and they always seem happy to serve you. The value for money is great, one morning we both had the breakfast wrap and the total bill came to €11, I found this extremely cheap compared to other cafes in the Swords/Malahide area especially for the quality of food you get. I can't wait to go in the evening now and try out the Tapas!

****Just a little update I have visited this place a few times since my last review and it has gone up in my estimation. The Tapas is great some of the best around. I have also come here for lunch and they do great sandwiches and soup. This place is great additon to Swords which is in desperate need of an alternative casual place to eat.****Came here as I love Tapas and was excited to hear that a Tapas bar had opened in Swords. The menu has some nice choices. Unfortunately we came on a night that seemed to be catering for some large parties so one or two of the dishes were sold out. The Anti Pasta is lovely as are the meatballs, wasn't too mad about the prawns or chicken sqewers. But overall I would deffo visit again tasty and fairly priced.

This was my third time to go to a Tapas night. I went with a group of girls the first two times and this time I went with my husband.. I absolutley love this place. Everything is fantastic. The staff were extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. We ordered the saute mushrooms in cream sauce, followed by Paella and also had the board with the various meats etc. We had a bottle of fabulous red wine and a beer and it all came to a staggering Euro 49.00. Excellent Value and you are completely full after it. There is also a guy on a guitar who plays music from about 7.30. Really enjoyed listening to him and like the staff a very friendly guy.. All over a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend it

Went here with 4 of my friends on the Friday night - Tapas night. The place is decked out really cosy with candles pretty much the only lighting in the seated areas. The tables were a wee bit squashed together but it was ok, not too cramped. As a meat eater, I was very happy with the choices and had the prawns, mushroom and potato dishes. Thee of my friends are veggies so there was not much choice - we were informed only on the night that we could have pre-booked a salad but it was too late to prepare it on the night. So be warned any veggies!! Wine was lovely, chilean white and the overall cost was amazing - it worked out at €30 per head which I felt was well worth it. the musician was excellent. I would really reccomend this place as a starter for a good night out as Swords has an abundance of good pubs to choose from for after. Also ideal for a couple.

Good atmosphere, live music, great service and excellent food - what more could you ask for on a Friday night? Tapas here on Friday night must be one of Swords' best kept secrets! Having tried half the tapas menu, I'll be back to try the other half! A selection of five tapas dishes, one desert, two glasses of wine, a mineral, bottle of water & two cappucinos came to €65. Not bad at all!!!

Went for lunch on Saturday afternoon. We had the buffalo mozzarella salad and also the Caesar salad with chicken. Both came with tomato bread. We had also ordered the speciality breads with tips (as we didn't know the salads came with bread). All the food was excellent quality and at very reasonable prices. Hoping to go back for the tapas night on every Friday. Sounds like a good night.

My husband and I went for the Tapas night last Friday night. It was packed and there was a guy playing guitar and singing in the corner. Our booking was for 9pm so unfortunately the the paella was finished. Having said that, there was still enough on th menu to pick from. We ordered the calamari, prawns and meatballs to start and they were all divine, especially the calamari. The dips for the 2 seafoods though were the same and it would have been nice to have different ones. Next we ordered the antipasti and mushrooms and I can honestly say the mushrooms were one of the nicest things I've ever eaten. My husband ordered a bottle of red and I had a few glasses of Prosecco. (wonder why they don't do Cava?) and we each had a dessert. The bill came to 85 euro which was we thought great value for such a nice meal. Will definitely go again and can't wait.

Our party of six were to first to be seated for Tapas night but the Gourmet Food Parlour (GFP) soon filled to capacity. The resident guitarist was in session and though a little distracting added to the atmosphere. With 2 young kids in tow we wondered if it would be suitable but the warm welcome and a colouring book kept them busy. We went for a mix of starters patatas bravas & Anti Pasti. For mains we choose from among the lemon chicken, the spicy chorizo/chicken among other. The kids were taken care of with a meatballs & pasta dish. Desert was wonderful with the chocolate biscuit cake a favourite with all. The price, though I was not personally stung, was described as not expensive so you can read whatever you want into that. All in all a great night, good food, good service & good company. "I'll be back"

This restaurant is a lovely addition to Swords and I have enjoyed numerous lunches here, however as times have become less frivilous and money more valuable to me the customer, this place has become a little pricey for a regular daily lunch. The food available is lovely, however the menu would benefit from a greater choice like a baked potato to accompany the fillings instead of all bread. The fillings are fabulous and a grastro delight, however the current climate demands better value and the coffee is also expensive.

What can I say about this place! I have just returned from their advertised live music tapas night and boy I was impressed. I have not enjoyed a night as much in such a long time. Atmosphere was perfect, relaxed to begin with and lively to finish. Tasty and authentic tapas were served with a smile. It was a place with immense character. I will definitely recommend and be back again. Encouraging to see such an authentic food injection and obvious passion under the one roof......

I have only ever popped in here to get a take - away sandwich for lunch. It's a bit pricier than you would normally spend on sandwiches but worth it. It is after all 'Gourmet' Food. The sandwiches are huge and the ingredients fresh and tasty. My favourites are the Chicken and Stuffing on granary bread and the Turkey and Brie Ciabatta. I have also tried a couple of their desserts and they are a yummy treat. I will, some day come here for a sit down afternoon lunch. Edit: I finally got to have a Saturday afternoon. The place was packed out, the staff clearly very busy but it did not detract from the quality of the food. Well worth it, so much that we stayed for nearly 2 hours! (Coffee and cakes were too much to resist after lunch)

Great atmosphere in this place, and fab service to go with it. Can't fault the staff on their service - really friendly and efficient. Food: you get what you pay for. It may be a little pricier than I would normally spend on a lunch, but it's worth every cent! It's top of the scale when it comes to quality. Highly recommended!!

Great little place for lunch, the food they do is just so tasty and fresh. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Lunchtime always very busy but we're not surprised, better to go off peak. They do fabulous salads, sandwiches and the cakes are to die for, they also do take out but we eat in every time we go there. Nicest place for a tasty sandwich in Swords :-)

Really love this place, go there a few times a week and have turned all my friends onto it. The food is fab (especially afternoon tea, piled onto little tiered trays! The scones come with jam and cream, and the bruchetta and soups are always tasty. Also went to their spanish tapas night, really nice patatas bravas, olives and wine! Looking forward to trying their Italian night soon. Definitely a winner!

met a friend here for a quick lunch. Lovely little place and great to see something different in swords. Has the feel of a french bistro. Staff are very friendly if a bit run off their feet on the day i visited. I had a fruit scone with jam, which was served warm, nice but some whipped cream on the side would have been a nice touch. my friend had a chicken salad, the portion was huge. overall a lovely addition to swords and i will be back.
