We have a very popular music night with Roy Taylor, once per month on a Thursday night. Tapas available every Friday & Saturday night. Gourmet Food Parlour is a gourmet eatery/café, specialty food-store & wine bar all rolled into one exciting business! Our philosophy is simple -To provide customers with quality gourmet food & wine at reasonable prices in a comfortable & relaxed atmosphere. Come visit us & see for yourself...... Joint owners Lorraine Byrne and Lorraine Heskin are both very passionate about food and have an in depth knowledge of the International specialty food market. They wanted to bring something a little bit ‘different’ to the Irish food market and they opened Gourmet Food Parlour July 28th 2006. “Every product on our shelves will be there because it tastes great and represents good value whether it's at the top or lower end of the range of the specialty food spectrum. We want to offer our customers a desirable choice of exquisite products to buy whilst relaxing with a sumptuous glass of wine and snacking on a tasty antipasti plate” The Gourmet Eatery offers delicious antipasti plates with selections of charcuterie meats & cheeses from Spain, France & Italy, together with homemade soups, a large range of salads, exquisite sandwiches & baguettes, bruschettas & Italian Lasagne. There is also a wonderful range of desserts ranging from seasonal fruit tartlets to chocolate & orange torte & sumptuous cheesecakes.

Five stars just doesnt do this place justice. Had lunch here with a friend on Saturday and as always, we came away feeling happy and just so pleased with our afternoon out. The staff are amazing and the food is even better. The only problem is what to choose. The menu is extensive. I had the bread selection with pesto and hummus. Ate every morsel. Woth noting that I finished the pesto before all the bread was gone and they topped me up with pesto at no extra charge. My friend had the chicken and as she wasnt sure of how spicy it was going to be they allowed her to try before she ordered. Same with the wine. We were given a taster to make sure we got the right one. Thats the type of place that it is. I cannot reccomend it enough. The place has doubled in size recently - without losing any of the atmosphere. It's a real treat. Cant wait to go back.
