Stumbled upon this restaurant by total accident after driving to Skerries with my boyfriend to go for dinner at a different restaurant but was told there'd be a long wait for a table so we walked down and found this place. Lovely cosy setting with friendly and professional staff. Food was absolutely amazing. Pate and chicken wings were to die for as was our mains of the windmill steak and the scampi. Was too stuffed for dessert but will definitely be ordering some for our next visit which we intend to be very soon!

I had heard good things about the windmill in Skerries so decided it would be a good place to go for a meal with the hubby..... Birthday treat .... Went for the early bird menu all sounded good to eat on the menu ... But the shrimp and pea risotto was badly presented and not very tasty .. the deep fried brie was cold but OK .... My main of salmon in filo pastry was .. no other words but absolutely awful ... Pastry was an off white colour and hard as rock ... I didn't eat any of my main nothing on the plate was good at all ... I let the waitress know and she was apologetic and offered something else but I had lost my appetite by then... I ended up enjoying the dessert and only paid for that but I definitely will never go there again or recommend to anyone.

Very pleased to discover their Sunday lunch is as good as their evening dining experience! At €15 for three courses this is very good value. Steak here is fab and any other dishes I've tried were too! Lamb was a special one evening and it didn't disappoint!

As usual, our meal at Windmill was beautiful. The food is fabulous and so very generous, but it's the service and atmosphere that make me return time after time. The waiting staff are friendly and very professional, and that warm fire made for a very cozy and relaxed dining experience. Kudos to all at Windmill, keep up the great work!

We booked this restaurant for our daughter's christening as the Sunday menu was so such great value it worked out cheaper than doing it in our own house. The food was really good, the place was lovely and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. We had two toddlers and two infants in our group and the staff went out of their way to make sure that everyone was comfortable - as I've found lots of waiting staff can be a bit peeved about dealing with kids this made our visit stress free. We'll be back!

Was here in a group of 24 for a birthday party food was lovely and the young lad waiter was great but what spoiled it for us was the rudeness of the manageress. . Never before have i asked a civil question to be stopped by a hand in front of my face! Have been to this restaurant 3 times before as it was a favourite. ..but not any more.

I quite like this restaurant. Their 20 euro early bird is decent value. I have sampled most things from the menu and the majority are lovely. There are a few confused dished "duck with pesto cous cous and asian sauce", an Italian/Moroccan/Asian mix....odd. Other than that though the atmosphere is nice with the open fire, and service is always friendly. House wine is a decent price too.

Relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff without being in your face. The food was delicious with out of this world flavour. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back..
