This is by far my favourite restaurant. The service is swift, efficient and attentive. The food is amazing! Each dish is so full of flavour with a range of spices and herbs that would melt any palette. I always starve myself before going because I want to order as many courses as I can fit in! The food is just so tasty! The decor is nice and the place is spotless. This cannot be said for other eateries in the area! I think the prices are very reasonable and a trip to this restaurant is indeed a treat. :)

We went there for early bird and we were the only table that evening until we left. We had kebab and prawn to start and chicken and lamb curry for mains. They have good option of Naan bread we had coriander and malai Naan they were quite heavy couldn't eat anything more. Was disappointed a bit as we were recommended not up to expectations.

I have had takeouts here and find them to be the best in North Dublin. I decided to go for a meal with friends and have to say the food was excellent, however the mains were quite large and as a result the price was very high. The service is excellent as not to busy and the atmosphere is also good. I would recommend however maybe order 1 starter and 2 mains as you will be full and may leave a lot on your plate.

Had dinner here on the advice of firends. I have to say I was not dissapoinded, the mains were really nice and quite large. The nans seemed to be just out of the oven and were reallg good. The price is not the cheapest but overall was very good. Next time I will get a take away and see if the quality is the same.

Bombay Bistro is the only Indian restaurant in Clane. As I was pasting through I tried the food here and was not disappointed. I had an extra hot Kofta, a dumpling dish. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. When I am back in Clane I will be returning to this place.

I absolutely love Bombay Bistro, have been getting take-aways on a regular basis for ages now and went to the restaurant for dinner with friends before Christmas, they absolutely loved it, said it was possibly the best Indian they'd ever had.. The food is fab, there's so much of it and the staff are really lovely, I have nothing bad to say at all. 10/10

Often visit this restaurant with my partner. On our first visit, we were won over by the fabulous flavours of the food. We heard that they grind their own spices etc on the premises and the fresh flavours are evidence of that. We feel like we are family: the service is quiet, polite, friendly and non-assuming. Nothing is too much trouble: if we want to change a dish by adding/subtracting an ingredient there is no problem. This again is evidence that each dish is freshly prepared and not a microwave job. The value is incredible and look out for the early bird menu for even better value. If I had to suggest one change, it would be the coffee: I think it comes from a Cona type of maker and I love an espresso or Americano with an authentic crema. Even if you don't like "Indian" give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

this is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever experienced. The food is excellent, service warm and attentive, and it won't be beaten for value. I have eaten Indian food in US, Barcelona, London and Olso...this is by far the best yet.

We've eaten here several times because we love the place so much. Really delicious food, great wine, great service, good value for money. One thing - only plain black coffee, no espressos etc, but that's only a small thing. I love my after dinner coffee but I'd forego it for the wonderful food served in this restaurant.

I brought a group of my friends to eat in the Bombay Bistro because I knew that I would not be disappointed! My friends too were not disappointed either, there were 2 people whom "Didn't like Indian" Well they were sold on the food by the time we left! One person, was not sure what to eat & the staff, offered a platter of diffrent light food for everyone to sample. Over the evening, the staff could not do enough for us and the food was just outstanding. Just a pity that restraund is not wheelchair friendly. We were all happy with the food & pricing, You should try !

I eat from Bombay regularly and find it to be one the best Indian restrurants around. Staff are polite and helpful, the restaurant itself is clean and fresh. The menu is easy to read and there is plenty of detail for the non-Indian foodie. Value for money is excellent based on the portions, which are hugh. It's an upstairs restrurant so not wheel chair accessible.

I went here yesterday evening after reading the reviews already given on menupages.ie. We arrived just after 6pm and were the only two people in the place. The staff were very nice and attentive. The menu was well spaced out and easy to ready. Food was fab - I love spicy food, wasn't as spicy as I would have like but still really good food! Price wise pretty good two, 2 starters and 2 mains with a naan for just under 50 euro. We will deffo go back - maybe a little later in the evening :-)

Ate here again for the 1st time since the summer and still adore the place! the food is fantastic. portions are so generous and great house wines. Also there can be no fault found with the staff so helpful and courteous. Lovely cosy feel to the place. Never trouble getting a table. Would highly recommend the Rogan Josh and Tikka Masala

We are quite possibly these guys biggest fans... discovered the restaurant about 18 months ago, and quite simply it is the best indian food I have ever tasted outside of India. The lamb is so exquisitely tender, the chicken tasty and always plentiful, along with a fantastic variety of authentic vegetarian indian dishes, including paneer!! The only criticism i can possibly think of is the often long wait times for food - sometimes up to an hour. But anyone who appreciates good indian food will most certainly overlook a small detail like that when they get a top class big serving every time. Simply the Best....

This is a nice place. Good size portions and good service. The chicken pieces can at times be a little large and fatty which, is a major turnoff. Apart from that though, I would definitely return here.

The food here was simply the best Indian food that I've had in a long time. Only down point was that the service, while pleasant, was slow - just make sure that when you go here that you have plenty of time!! Early bird menu is very good value.

My husband & myself have literally spent years searching for a great Indian restaurant & last year we found the Bombay Bistro & we are never disappointed in our favourite choice. The chicken korma is sinfully good but all the meals we have sampled at this stage deserve mention on their own merrit. We have found the staff exceptionally accommodating, friendly & professional. We have both eaten in & gotten many take outs & the standard has never been anything but exceptional. I cannot enthuse enough about this restaurant, it restored our love of Indian food we haven't had as good Indian since we visited India.

Very enjoyable as takeaway or sit in. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Allow at least 40mins for takeaway orders (and that's if you're collecting yourself).

I used to think this was a great place but its when you have a problem you see a Restaurants true colours. We order food for delivery, they said it would be 40 mins. This is what they all say so we thought it would be here in 40 mins or less. after a two call to find out where our food was it came i hour and ten minutes later and COLD. they also made a change on the menu. Now your main course is say 10.50 euro and now you have to pay 2.50 extra for rice. Rip off Ireland or rip off India?? I rang to complain about the fact tht our food toook 70 mins to arrive and it was cold. They just said "yes" I said you don't understand it late and freezing. He said "I understand" and then there was silence.. Anyway never again Bombay Bistro

Absolutelly fantastic food, even for those who don't like it too hot. Everything is very tasty and made from fresh ingredients and spices like homemade. We also use their home delivery service and we are happy with it. The delivery times are very reasonable and service is great. Simply great. Highly recommending!

Ate here recently & would definitely recommend it. The food is very tasty & they do an excellent Chana Masala for those who like chickpeas! We had a delicous house red & white wine which was very reasonable, and have tried one of their other reds, ( a Tempranillo I think!), so not only shall I be sampling the entire food menu on each return but I shall also tackle the wine menu too!

Have been here once for a meal but have also gotten the take-away numerous times. Definitely recommend it over many take-away places in the area. The food is well-cooked, authentic Indian food. Staff are always lovely and helpful to those that don't know what to get. Restaurant section is nothing to write home about but cosy, you can carry a conversation and not be drowned out by others, but it still maintains an atmosphere. Restaurant menu is very good and a lot to choose from. Go there hungry!!!

I have been here numerous times now. The food is really good Indian food. Service is great. Staff genuinely make an effort and are very pleasant. Decor is nice. They could really benefit from a bigger selection of alcoholic beverages but I guess that's down to getting a licence. Would keep going back there. Top notch place

I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The restaurant itself is lovely, cosy and intimate. The takeaway area is now downstairs which makes a huge improvement on having people waiting upstairs in the main restaurant. The staff in both the restaurant and downstairs are extremely friendly, and helpful and the service was very good. The menu is extensive without being overwhelming.I love all of their chicken dishes, and have never been disapointed and their korma and tikka masala are definitely worth a try. They also have some nice variations on the usual Indian dishes. The peshwari naan is also fab. Prices are reasonable and if you are in the area this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Being a great lover of Indian food my friends and I decided to give the Bombay Bistro a try. The food was excellent. The staff were very nice and catered to our every whim. But what really impressed the most was their great wine list. We had 4 bottles of wine. A Chateau Renard Mondesir from Fronsac in France, excellent wine. A Grand Cru St Emilion called Jean Voisin, also amazing. A house White and a White Bergerac, very good value for money. Will be back to try the rest of the wines on their list paired with their excellent food. Well done and keep it up!!

My wife and I really enjoyed our meal here. The food was delicious; meat was really tender and the flavours kept me at my plate. The only drawback was that we had to walk home in the rain as we were so stuffed by the end of the meal.
