5.0A large group of us came here for a special occasion. it is a very small cosy restaurant. They have a deal advertised which is available until 8 pm even though we arrived just before 8 pm they said we could have the special deal. It is very reasonably priced. the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly also. couldn't fault the food it was busy also on the night.

5.0Myself and my partner were here again and brought with us a menupages voucher that we had purchased. We had the prawns and goats cheese for starters which were amazing. We had another prawn dish for one of the main courses and a chicken dish. Everything was gorgeous. We were feeling stuffed but the staff encouraged us to attempt the dessert which we did! It was also lovely. Very friendly staff and the voucher was great value for money. Will definitely be back.

5.0I have been to this restaurant many times now but have not reviewed it in a while so I thought that it was only fair as every time I go I cannot fault it. This visit was for a special occasion and there were some fussy eaters among the party but both the waiter and manager could not do enough to accommodate everyone and the service was excellent even though the restaurant was packed. All our dishes were excellent and and the price of the house wine was very reasonable. The cod starter was amazing and a must try. A really nice touch was that after the meal we were offered a free drink and not forgetting the lovely popadoms and dips for free when you arrive. It's a great addition to Raheny and I hope it there for years to come - keep up the good work.

4.5Went here for the third time for a meal with my girlfriend and her family and where many restaurants have shown some cracks after a few visits, The Mint Cottage continued where we left off and was as delicious, if not more so than the first meal we had there. I went for the early bird menu and although the choice on offer wouldn't have been my personal preference, I decided to go ahead and see what came along. I needn't have worried, the starter, a spicy cod in batter offering was absolutely delicious and the main, a Beef Bhuna was fantastic also. There was a slight mix-up with other meals on our table but if anything that proved to be a fortuitous error as we all got to try some new dishes, all of which were very very tasty indeed.
The rise of Pakistani cuisine is a fantastic addition to the Irish restaurant scene, and adds a little something extra that the Indian restaurant's of old lacked, the sense that you're eating genuine authentic exotic cuisine. The Mint Cottage is a fine example of this exciting new venture and I would happily recommend them to all of my friends. Can't wait to enjoy another lovely meal there.

4.5Went with 3 children for an early bird meal. Didn't order a full meal for the youngest who was 6 but when the manager saw her picking away at the starters with the rest of us he produced a full portion of jal frezi(not normal strength) for her. She was delighted! Great service and gorgeous food.

5.0Me along with three of my friends visited on a Friday evening we had table booked at 8.15pm and we were giving a early bird menu along with la carte menu as well. I really cannot fault this restaurant and judging by the way the early bird is priced at 19.95 euro per person for a 4 course dinner with variety of starter chicken, lamb and seafood i had chicken and my friends had seekh kebab and fish the starters was mouth watering and for mains I had prawns bhuna and my friends had chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and mint corriander naan was so tasty. the waitress explained every dish has it arrived and it was nice to known about what we eating. well the wine collection was limited but house wine was very crispy and was superb we had two bottle for dessert we were served with home made ice cream which was very nice for a total value of 114 euro. cannot wait to get back there asap.

3.0We just had a meal here. I had an early bird which was advertised outside with big banners as a 4 course meal. When presented with the menu the early bird had three choices; 1) starter 2) main with pilau rice and naan included 3) dessert. I assumed the fourth course was a tea/coffee as that is industry standard. Anyway i ordered a tea and was charged for it. I questioned it with the waitress who checked with the manager. The waitress was sent back to tell us that the rice counts as a course!! I didn't bother argue over €2.75. They need to be more explicit in their advertising outside as to what constitutes a course. It is not standard to provide rice as a course? How could it be a course when it forms part of the main anyway. Their loss as we were going to book a birthday dinner there next week but now we'll go somewhere else.
