Irish people love to eat seafood when dining out; in fact, unlike our European neighbours, we eat more seafood outside the home. Perhaps this is a testament to the quality of our seafood restaurants. And for many visitors, a trip to Ireland wouldn’t be complete without sampling a few oysters and sinking a pint of the black stuff. Take away service Veggie options available

well deserved of a 5 rating. From the moment we arrived 7 of us (3 kids) the staff were unbelievable, helpful, friendly, courteous and engaged in conversation. The food was fantastic and the desserts were out of this world, they were huge !!! And well worth going to just for that alone. And lastly the price was extremely reasonable!! Well done the Brock Inn

Service was very attentive but very slow- we were asked several times were we being looked after, did we want something to drink etc. but the food was a long time coming. €9.25 for a bowl of soup and a toasted sandwich-ridiculous-I won't be back.

We eat here on a regular basis with my grand parents and the service and attention that is given to them is why we keep returning. The staff are amazing and will put any request into the kitchen - they really want the food to be served how people like i and are super friendly. Fish and Chips is always good, and the homemade coleslaw is fresh. Any food we've ever had here is perfect and great value. Portions are huge!!

There's nothing special about this pub apart from the service, the food is quite pricey as a main dish is €14.95. You can get the classics cajun chicken, roast beef or lamb with veg: a roast potato, 2 balls of dry mashed potato, suede puree and a spoon of cabbage, all in all it's very similar to what a carvery menu offers which I think should be priced around €10-12. Kids menu is classic: burger, cheese burger (poor quality meat), chicken nuggets & chips, pasta for €6.95. Adding desert, drinks and tea or coffee, you may get a bad surprise when you get the bill especially if you have a big family... They should offer the following: for any main dish order a kids goes free or reduce their main dish prices or offer menu combos.

I have eaten here too many times to count. The food is just fantastic. The menu is vast and caters for all pallets. If you like your home made cooking then this place is the one.The waitresses are great and will get you and advise you on any dish. They do traditional food like steaks and roasts but also do some asian dishes like their lovely crispy duck salad which is hard to beat. The décor is traditional Irish. You cant go wrong here and the Guinness is great too
