Whats the hype about kajjal? Starters we had were overheated in the micro(fishcake). Mains served with the same sauce for lamb and prawns and the service was very slow. We had three different waiters for two course and drinks on the table. Just another oriental restaurant with take away service. sorry but it was nothing to go back for this price...

Went to Kajjal for lunch and enjoyed the vegetable samosas and prawn curry. With wine, my meal came to €45 so good value for a girly lunch. The atmosphere is good and they make amazing after dinner cocktails. Well worth a visit

A group of 6 of us went here for a 3 course early bird at €19.95 each.
The early bird consisted of a choice of 3 starters, kebab, vegetarian and prawns, a choice of 3 mains Chicken, Prawns and Lamb served with rice and naan bread and an ice cream dessert.
The tables are well spaced and set with crisp white linen.
We had a reservation & were seated immediately and were brought iced water and poppadoms with a selection of chutneys. All the starters were brought and were delicious – lean meat kebabs and succulent prawns. Each person’s main course was served in its own little lidded pot with side dishes of pilau rice and plenty of naan. Various different spice levels had been requested and we were all happy with the level of spiciness of our meals. My chicken dish had large chunks of chicken breast in a very tasty sauce.
Courses were served in a timely manner, cleared promptly once finished and we were left to chat without feeling rushed once we’d finished
Very good value, friendly service and definitely a place I will revisit.
Even though it was a midweek night, the place was very busy so a reservation would be recommended. Full menu and take away also available.

We ate here last night for the first time - very busy for a Wednesday which was impressive. Staff were impressive and recommended dishes for us. Food was amazing - best I have ever had. The 3 of us ordered the Makanwala Murghi, Makhani Murghi, Beef Jalfrezi, Channa Masala, along with rice and naans. Service was impeccable and food was presented in little red dishes which I really want!! Bill came to 115 euro which included beers, soft drinks and 2 desserts - my son had the Mississippi Mud Pie which he said was amazing.

Will definitely be heading back to Kajjal.

I enjoyed an evening meal in kajjal. Very difficult to get an evening booking at the weekend. The food is excellent and the service was quite good although all the parties food was not brought all together. The atmosphere was a little stuffy with very few people appearing very jovial. Perhaps this was to do with people talking quietly as the tables are quite close together which is my one complaint regarding the venue.

Had dinner here for the first time on Friday, it was excellent. Food was really good, full of flavours. Shared a behari kebab, portion was plenty for two. was spicy with a lovely yogurt with spices. Had a prawn kharal masala, it was excellent, prawns were melt in the mouth. My friend had lamb rogan, which she said was v good. we had pilau rice and a kishmish nan, both of which were great. There is a featured wine, we shared a glass, it was excellent and good value.
Service was excellent, nice space between courses, never felt rushed even though table was required back by 8. The decor is lovely. It was v busy for early on a Friday and having eaten there I now know why.
Looking forward to going back.
