Love it, I tend get a Caesar salad where ever I go so would be particular about the flavour. Caesar salad here is lovely and fresh and the dressing is fab (even use it to dip the chips into)

Have eaten brunch here several times at the weekends. Normally its packed and has a busy atmosphere. The food is nothing special in my experience. I was particularly unimpressed with the soup last time and the toasted sandwich was poor. In general its ok, however.

A group of 8 friends went here last sat what a lovely cafe very quaint and homely maybe a tad small for groups of people but we managed :-) The service was prompt, reliable and even though it was a busy saturday night the staff were helpful and professional. The food was delicious and there was a good selection to choose from and the biggest plus was there was no restrictions on the menu we could choose any starter, main, dessert and tea/coffee all for 40 euros for two people :-) :-). I'd recomend this place for couples as I found it very intimate and romantic. Both my hubbie and I are going back again this weekend as we were certainly impressed with the food and presentation. If I was to make one critisim it would be to change carpet on stairs leading to toilets as I found this to be smelly and that was a surprise as the restaurant itself is brill :-(

Visited this restaurant with my wife, we had calamari & Brie for starters followed by seafood pasta and the evening special , food to die for. Service excellent as usual and a nice choice of wines, will be back.

We arrived Monday at around 7pm, at short notice, for the Early Bird. There were about a dozen clients, not enough to create atmosphere. However, the charm and vivacity of the young lady who served us more than compensated. The food, in due course - my choice an unpretentious fish and chips - arrived piping hot. The bill for two was less than 40 euro. Assessment: good wholesome food, pleasantly served, reasonably priced. If you've salted away millions you could go around the corner to James's Terrace. But if you're like the rest of us for whom a meal out comes from a shrinking discretionary income the Cafe Provence is a good option. Better still, come with your friends and make your own atmosphere

Made a late booking for 8:00 of a Saturday evening and have to say glad we did. Staff were extremely courteous, friendly and willing to engage and talk to you. We had 2 bruschetta, a soup and a chicken wings to start and all were a resounding success. For mains we had 3 fish and one fajitas, again no complaints and I like the fact that when fajitas were delivered further tortillas were offered. Dessert was probably the least successful dish but yet there was nothing wrong it it, it's just that most of the options seemed to be a kind of cake/tart and if you weren't interested in that then you would be disappointed. Anyway I had a "class of a sponge" which was very nice. Only disappointing bit was that it wasn't very busy which is a shame. Anyway a great meal, helped by great staff

This cafe used to be so good, with great service but the last few times I've been there its been pretty bad. Last week I ordered and omlette (normally gorgeous), came out burnt and not what I ordered... I don't think I can post the excuse the waitress gave for the mistake when I asked her to change it! Today I went out for lunch and had their fish & hand cut chips. Pretty disgusted at the amount of food I got for 13.95, a tiny piece of plaice and 8 chips. I complained but just got a shrug... I won't be going back there, a pity, it was one of my favourites cafes!

My husband and I love Cafe Provence. The staff are so friendly and they are very reasonably priced. We've never been disappointed no matter what we order. The chicken & bacon Caesar salad is especially nice and so is the steak. The portions are big and the restaurant has paintings by local artists.

This is a nice enough place to visit at night time for the a la carte menu. It is quite different during the day with a different all day menu and is usually very busy. But the night time menu is very nice also. There is a good range of seafood / meat / vegetarian dishes. I tried the fajitas and they were very nice, perfectly spiced and full of flavour. It's not a huge dining room, so as long as you have a few people in it, the atmosphere will be good. The service was polite and attentitive. In terms of price it is relatively cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. The dishes are of a reasonably high standard so it is very good value overall. But if you want very good value I would recommend trying their early bird menu which is available all night midweek.

this little coffee shop has some good things to offer but i have to say the tables are way to close together how are you supposed to have a conversation with the customer beside you practically sitting on my knee also my buggy was NOT welcome at all i could tell by the faces off the staff no one even suggested putting the buggy somewhere out of the way . in saying that i drop in from time to time for a coffee but as a eating out venue its not for me .

We dine often in this lovely little cafe. There is a wide selection of food from breakfasts, wraps to full dinners. The service has always been excellent and the manageress always welcoming. We will keep coming back.

I feel I must respond to a previous post regarding the staff and their attitude towards children at this restaurant. My partner and I always make apoint of eating here at least once during our twice yearly stay in Malahide, and have nothing but the highest praise for the food and service. The manageress never fails to welcome us back each time we return, and the fact that there are always many families with children there on Saturday afternoons is in itself surely testament to the fact that children are indeed welcome.

We visit this cafe regularly on Saturday afternoons. On our most recent visit I had the fish and chips and they were nothing short of delicious. The desserts are the big draw here though - large helpings and very tasty with a real homemade taste to them

The food is good but the staff are not very friendly, the tables are extremely close together and in NO WAY do they welcome children!!
Response:
I really have to take issue with the comment about children. I have been in this restaurant many times when there have been lots of children and the staff always go out of their way to accommodate them. Also, apart from the great food, it's the pleasant staff that are a big attraction for me.

I was at cafe provence a few days after christmas and even though it was extremely busy we managed to get a table. I got a club sandwich which was absoloutly delicious. We tried two of their cakes with coffee after our lunch and they were very nice. The service was excellent.I found most things on the menu on the expensive side compared to other cafes I have been to but im presuming this is because of location and high rents. I will be going back again as I found it a lovely place to meet up with the girls and eat good food.

First time, visiting this cheerful, bustling, cafe, with its colourful mediterranean interior and provencal theme. Ample space with an extra outdoor seating option. We arrived on Sunday Morning ready and eager to sample 'The Sunday Brunch Menu'.Simple food done well with a distinct 'continental style' good sized portions with extras, if requested. Excellent, friendly and professional service. Looking forward to a return visit.

Had sunday lunch here yesterday. Had to queue for 20 minutes, we didnt mind as it gave us confidence in the food. We eventually got a seat and ordered. We had soup to start which was very very good, and all had burgers which were average. Its standard food, i wouldnt go overboard about it and certainly dont think its worth waiting as there are so many places to eat in malahide. I did howvwer like that the chips were served in a tin cup, nice touch.

Met friends here for brunch on Sunday. Greeted by friendly staff and served with tea/coffee while me perused the menu. I had the breakfast bagel which was really tasty. Portion sizes are just right for brunch. Prices are very reasonable, at €11.95 including two pots of tea. Good relaxing friendly vibe to the restaurant. There was no presure to vacate the tables despite the restaurant doing a brisk trade. Certainly a good place to meet friends and relax over decent food at decent prices.

Went to this restaurant as it was recommended by a friend. I ordered the chicken wings for starter and fish and chips for main course. Unfortunately both were a bit of a let down. The vingar seemed very weak, so I asked for another that too was very weak. Perhaps I dined on a bad day, otherwise the dining area is very chic and staff very friendly. Will try it out again.

Have been here for lunch a few times and have always enjoyed simple well cooked food at reasonable prices. They have recently started servings dinners and was in here with my girlfriend and just fell into dinner menu by a matter of 15 minutes. I had the chicken fajitas which were tasty although a few more of the small tortillas would not have gone astray. they were also expensive for what they were and are on the lunch menu for a lot cheaper. my girlfriend had the thai style chicken and pasta which didnt particularly work. A version of a ginger and garlic stiry fry that was not great and would have been better off with noodles and not pasta. We had two coffees which hit the spot at the end. All in all a good place for lunch with coffess and dessert but a bit of work on the food and pricing to make it an option for dinner.

This was my second visit to this restaraunt. I enjoyed it yet again, especially the small and simple menu. However unfortunately, my order was not available as they had run out, even though I was eating there at 7pm. Either way my Lasagne was nice and my girlfriend's Salad too. The prawns for starters were a little expensive but very nice and the deserts are excellent.

Was here recently for dinner. Lovely retaurant, with decent food despite a limited menu. Is very expensive especially considering what you get. One or two small things really bothered us. The table beside us had the excellent looking fish & hand cut real chips. We ordered a side of chips expecting the same, but what we got was chips straight from the nearest Burger joint. Had the fajitas for main, which came with a good amount of filling but 3 tiny tortillas. I asked for one extra tortilla and was brought 3 more and then charged €7 for them! Have to say with so much competition is little things like this that mean I wont be back.

I go here most Sunday's for breakfast. The food is great but very expensive, for breakfast for 2 we had 2 irish breakfasts, a coffee, tea and an oj and it costs us 30 euro which is expensive for breakfast. However the food and service are great and I will continue to go there.

Decided to go for lunch here after reading all the reviews. I have to say I was impressed by both the food and service. Everyone was very helpful, and a busy restaurant didn't affect this. I had one of the 6 or so specials, the plaice, which I really enjoyed. My girlfriend got a chicken fillet burger, and struggled to finish it. Overall, the food was fantastic and had I not already filled up on my main course, the dessert list was expansive. Well worth the visit, and clearly popular with the locals for good reason.

Thank you to the staff in Cafe provence, evn though I was expecting a french menu, their absolute attentive service and compromise left me very appreciative and glad to have eaten here. For starters, the deep fried calamari was very tasty and still had the "sea" in it's taste. So it's FRESH and the batter was not overwhelming.. All this with really thinly sliced rings. Well done. The bruschetta unfortunately was a letdown. The presentation was a complete contrast to the calamari dish. Again, the staff compromised and allowed for me to choose the duck dish from the ala carte menu. It was tasty! Not the same as u would imagine with a duck confit, yet differently tasty! Well done. The only setback would be atmosphere, it's too loud for quiet conversations. And the price of the dinner in a pub-like setting would be it's downside. This restaurant would be more appropriate for a girls nite out with blue music in the background, and some interesting dancing on the floor.

The Office Staff decided to go out for a Christmas Meal. What can I say? The atmosphere was excellent (one dude on guitar playing some 'knees up tunes'), staff were very helpful and friendly ... and the food was exceptional ... I got the steak ... I am a fussy git about my steak ... it was cooked to perfection. The girls x 3 got the lamb shank ... first time in my life I've seen them all quiet ;-). The house white was about E22 - the Christmas Meal itself was only E30 pp for three courses. We danced the night away in this classy, intimate setting ... we will all be back. Top Marks!

I visited this restaurant on a monday afternoon for lunch. It was farily busy but not hectic. I ordered an open mediterranean sandwich. My friend opted for a toasted special. My friends arrived it was a ham and cheese toasty with a little onion and tomatoe nothing special and expensive at €6.95. My open mediterannean sandwich arrived as two slices of PAN bread spread with pesto and a spoon ful of brown mush which was suppose to be onion mushroom aubergine and pepper I think. Nothing was recognisable and was all covered in chedder cheese. I actually asked the waitress had she brought the wrong order. I asked where is the morzarello cheese and was told its all mixed in. It was the worst lunch of my life my only regret it that I did not complain but by friend had invited me and I didnt want to create and atmosphere. We were not asked at anytime was everything ok even when paying close to €20,-- for this and one cup of tea. Not good at all.

Had to pick my friends up from the airport early on Saturday morning and headed to Cafe Provence for breakfast. It's a cosy, unassuming cafe close to the crossroads in the centre of town. The experience was as good as my last visit. Staff were very friendly, food was very good and they kept topping up the coffee at no extra cost. I have no doubt that if I lived in or near Malahide, I'd come here regularly for breakfast and possibly lunch/dinner!!

I came here for lunch with friends on Saturday, the hostess/manageress? greeted us warmly and we were seated very quickly even though it was very busy. The food was lovely as always. The problem for us was the table service. It appeared to us that one of our waitresses just did not want to be there at all, she was abrupt and quite rude when my friend asked (very politely) for his coffee after his food instead of before or during. The drinks were then banged on the table in front of us. Most unfortunate as I am a big fan of Cafe Provence. I know it seems cliche but service with a smile really does go a long way....Especially when you're leaving a tip!

Busy and cosy restaurant with good ambience. It took about 15 minutes before a waiter came to take our order, but the delivery of the order was quick and efficient. Cappuccino is served so hot that you burn your mouth and the carrot cake was spoilt by some unknown drizzle over it, which was unfortunate, as the cake itself was very nice. Will give it a second chance.

We never fail to visit this wonderful, welcoming restaurant during our twice yearly stay in Malahide from overseas. The friendly and efficient manageress always remembers us, and makes time to catch up on our news since our previous visit. Other reviewers have said all that needs to be said about the food, atmosphere etc., but I just wish they would stop serving those evil, evil cakes!

Went for a small bite to eat here yesterday evening, had deep fried brie and some chicken wings, both were delish! Really good size portions and had a nice glass of house wine to wash it all down. Service was great, very nice helpful waitresses. Will definitely be back again soon.

Ate lunch here with the mammy at the start of the year and just wanted to take the opportunity to compliment Cafe Provence on it's excellent performance all round. The food was delicious, the spicy chicken wrap and the Caesar salad both got the thumbs up, the service was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was warm and cosy. The showcasing of artists work on the walls really added to the feel and the paintings were enjoyable to examine. Cost-wise we couldn't complain either, as the prices were reasonable for the quality of food served. One of the nicest places to eat in Malahide, which is saying a lot!

I was here last sunday and i had a wonderful time.I was greeted by the very friendly staff into a very cosy, warm restaurant and seated beside the window, all very nice.We got are food without any problems and they were just gorgeous. The starters were so simple but so effective, really got the taste spuds going. The main course was not too heavy but very nice and such a good texture off the lamb, cooked so well.Anyway the service was very good and the waiter helped me with the menu and gave great enthusiasm for his job and was interested. The value here is very good as you get very good food for very reasonable prices.Just to finish the freshly made apple tart tatin was very nice and was not like some places were its just dry and tasteless. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are.Very impressed and will go back to cafe provence very soon

I am new to menu pages but i had to put this place first because it ticks all the boxes for me.I always enjoy having meals in cafe provence because it has a great ambience and food that is just right.I will of course visit here again and for anyone looking for a place in malahide i would recommend it.They have a evening menu aswell which has alot of food that you would see in high restaurants but at a very reasonable price.

Visited recently and was blown away by the warm atmosphere in this place.I think it was very clever to put paintings up on the wall by artists next door and show pictures of the artist. The food was a whole other thing,i have to give the chefs credit for pulling off a perfect vol et vont, which was just so nice to eat,the service was excellent and i will tell my friends and family about here as i would love to see it noticed by more people not that it isnt but more people should realise that the cafe you think is nothing special but this place really is,and i dont say that about alot of places.

I have visited this restaurant several times in the past and always viewed it as a treat. My partner and I ate here on Sunday evening last and I was most disappointed. He had steak and it seemed fine. I order the lamb shank, with roasted root veg and mash potato. The mash had far too much pepper added and I asked for it to be replaced with mash without pepper added. This could not be done and I was given chips! As for my roasted root veg, I got overcooked carrots and cauliflower swamped in butter. To top it off the lamb was overcooked and dry. The whole experience was a disaster. The staff didn't apologise about the potoato and made me feel like I was just complaining for the sake of it. Terrible, will never go there again.

Very busy, buzzy atmosphere with delightful paintings by local artists on the walls. Although there was a lunchtime queue we were seated quickly. Very warming vegetable soup and scrummy open ham/mature cheddar sandwich. Lovely coffee. Pleasant staff. Only negative - felt we couldn't linger over the coffee as it was so busy.

I had lunch here with a friend on Monday. We met here as the location suited us and we had both eaten and dined here before. The food was wonderful. The service was not. We both asked for the Pasta dish without chicken. After we placed our order, a different waitress came and told us the chef sent her down, did we want chicken? We told her no. Our original waitress then came back and asked us if we wanted chicken. Again, no. when the dishes arrived 15 mins later, you guessed it, it came with chicken!! So we sent the meals back and another 15 mins later a wonderful dish was presented to us. There was no complaints about the food or the price, but the service left a lot to be desired!!

have been here for breakfast very frequently and it is good if a little over-priced. We went for dinner last Wednesday and the place was empty except for one other table. Service was initially friendly but we were a little worried as they has no specials (they typically do!). We ordered two glasses of wine and after waiting nearly an hour for our meal to arrive we gave up. We were simply told that it would be arriving soon, which was really not good enough especially given that we had not ordered anything that would take more than 10 minutes to cook. We walked out - a first for me. We offered to pay for our two glasses of wine (1 red, 1 white) and this was accepted - which was a little annoying.

This was my third visit to Cafe Provence. The previous two were ok- I loved the vibe of the place around lunch time. As in my last visit, I noticed portions were shrinking as much as prices were slightly being increased. This time I had an open-veggie "sandwich" consisting on a very basic slice of brown bread topped with mushrooms, peppers and a bit of grated cheddar cheese. Three or four cheap lettuce leaves garnished this delicatessen. That was it. The abomination was priced at nearly euro 9.00. Believe it or not, Cafe Provence is not in Paris and certainly does not overlook any famous landmark so it is still an enigma in itself how the owners can possibly justify such a rip off. Worst "sandwich" of the year. My cousin's panini was also average. In spite of the beautiful female clientèle surrounding each table, I am afraid to say I am will not be coming back to Cafe Provence again.

A wee bit overpriced was my main thought on leaving Cafe Provence but then again it was Malahide afterall. Our table was just inside the door on the right and felt a bit close to the two tables to the left. The place itself is cute with lovely duck egg blue paneling and soft music, very relaxing. We ordered the garlic bread to share and were disappointed when 3 small pieces came out but it was tasty nonetheless. I had the Pork special which was medallions wrapped in parma ham, sage and came with a very tasty mustard sauce. It was delicous but I thought a bit overpriced at €24 ! My partner had the chicken supreme which was very big and tasty again a little overprice. We shared the choclate and pear cake which was a little dry but saved by the thick chocolate sauce. Nice food just a little overpriced.

Ate here with a friend a few weeks ago. Was very disappointed with the entire experience. I reccommended this friend to come here as I heard it was good. We were seated at a nice table to the front. Table was set for lunch and not the dinner setting like the other tables around us. We ordered both ordered starters. My starter came out 12 minutes before my friends. I waited for his starter. Bad idea my starter was cold by the time his arrived. We both had lasagne it was bland and tastd as though it had came straight from the mircowave. We both had dessert would have been better going to the shop for a choc-ice. Bill was €75 including two cokes. Will never be back. Highly embarrassed and insulted with the bad service and unpleasant food.

Seven of us went here for dinner for my Dad's birthday last Saturday night. The table was squashed in against the wall in a corner. I would feel it would be better served as a table for 4. There were several tables free in the centre of the restaurant so I don't know why we couldn't have had some of them put together. It was very hard to get the attention of the staff. I had the ham hock salad as the potted mackeral was off the menu followed by the lemon sole in batter. Neither was note worthy and the fish was quite bland. No one had dessert. My 2 year old son was with us and there doesn't seem to be any allowances made for children. No kids menu and the high chair was precarious to say the least. I wouldn't be rushing back. Quite disappointing.

Breakfast / lunch was great, been eating here at least once a month for nearly a year. They've recently enough changed their menu, portions and prices and in my opinion got it wrong. The yummy chicken & mushroom vol au vont now comes on a massive plat, less chick (poorer quality too)& mushroom and with a teeny side salad and is priced at pretty much a dinner main, used to be a great dish, now just average at best. Still great atmosphere, lovely staff comfy place - but it's losing that something that made it great.

I cant recommend cafe provence 'restaurant' for an evening meal. I have left it disappointed and regretting choosing it to celebrate an important occasion for me. My table was located at the back of the restaurant, right next to the kitchen. Loud music from the kitchen was clashing with softer music in the rest of the restaurant, not to mention shouting coming from the kitchen. Each time the food was ready to serve, the chef was swithching on the heating lamp, which was like a flood light beaming on and off on the table during all the night. Meal portions were small and were lacking of vegetables that were listed in the menu. When the meat or fish portions is small one would expect vegetables to make up for it but that was not the case. Unfortunately my meal did not get any sweeter because the desserts served were bought in and not made in house. Also the toilets are actually outside and upstairs, when we visted them we encountered a group of youths loitering there. The restaurant charges large prices like others in the area but does not give good value meals. It tries to be more than realy is. It is more of a breakfast or lunch caf than restaurant. The only positive was friendly staff...

Lovely atmosphere. Great tasting food. Need to finally sort out draught from outer door and small doors to understairs. Apart from draught in winter, the cafe provence is a wonderful friendly experience.

I ate here with my girlfriend on a saturday night. The restaurant wasn't busy, only a few tables were filled, although I think the fact that the World Cup final was on that night had more to do with the lack of business than the standard of the restaurant itself! The service was fast and efficient if not overly friendly and we both found the food to be fresh and tasty. We requested a table to the right of the restaurant after being shown to a table near the window, where there was quite a draft coming in from the door. I'd recommend requesting a table in this area if you are dining there this winter, unless you want to be frozen every time the door opens! Overall a pleasant experience and I would eat there again.

**Update** Been there again last Sunday and not only the restaurant has been refurbished but the menu has changed. Yep it's much blander and the quirky French recipes are now gone Substituted by pretty disappointing food. We ordered bruschetta and got crostini, my risotto was swimming in cream (?!?) and it was hard. Lamb shank was presented really well but the taste was missing. Think again.... *************** Pleasant surprise this tiny restaurant in Malahide, went there just yesterday. As starters we had the Halloomi braised cheese with mango and balsamic vinegar dressing - it was really good and so different! We had the dish of the day from the black board (braised monkfish and scallops on a mash potato bed with steamed vegetable and my partner had the veal roulade with ricotta and spinach filling) they were both delicious! We had a lemon tart meringue and a chocolate meringue for desserts. Which ended our meal really well. Wine was ok didn’t find the wine list interesting we had the house white which is adequate, service was also ok, it was a quiet night when we went but I’d say on a weekend it might get pretty cramped and loud as the tables are all really close to each other. Still great food!

I went here during the summer with a couple of friends and we had a lovely evening. The tables are quite close together, which is okay if you are with a group, but not really for a romantic evening. It is a lively little bistro, with good service and tasty food, which is well presented. The staff are very friendly and accomodating, finding a table for myself and my friends on a busy Friday night. We watched as the staff brought huge plates of food to other tables and the steaks look fab. Great presentation. I had the risotto, which was gorgeous, however my friends both chose a pasta dish with chicken which was very bland and disappointing in comparison to my risotto. However I would not let that stop me from going back again. This is a lovely little bistro in the heart of Malahide.

I visited this restaurant for the first time about a month ago and found it charming. The food was of very good quality and service was very quick. I can personally recommend the prawn salad. The food was good value for money too. The only downfall I would say is that there are a lot of tables in the restaurant and could probably feel a bit crowded when full although we did not experience this as we ate there during the day.

I always come to eat in Cafe Provence when ever I am visiting Malahide. I happened to be in Malahide last Thursday evening and had decided to try their evening menu. The restaurant looks completely different at nighttime with lovely candlelight’s. The interior colours have been changed and new tablecloths complete the look. The menu at nighttime is very reasonably priced and varied. They also have an interesting wine list. We both ordered the fresh fish from the specials blackboard and it was quite delicious. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Lovely restaurant both day and night.

My wife loves this place, I enjoy it there. A good average all rounder, staff always very nice. Food is cafe standard, but hey, they don’t claim to be or charge for anything else. We’ve brought loads of paintings on the wall which all goes to the local artists. We always go back normally heaving with bags, its impossible to go to Malahide and not buy something, it seems like a holiday.

I absolutely adore this place. As a regular customer I have had the pleasure of getting to know the staff really well. Mary and jenny are great, always smiling and accommodating and able for a quick chap even when the queues are forming! I love the food, ambience and character of this special place. The nighttime menu is fabulous also! A true all rounder....

I found this place to be too closely packed it felt like everybody in the place was sharing an intimate meal, as people were so close to each other. The food while it was ok wasn't great especially for the price we paid. I wouldn't go back in a hurry unless I was meeting someone and it was during a quieter time.

I had deep fried brie starter and the duck main. Both were ok but nothing great. The brie came with no sauce and instead I was offered Ballymaloe relish, not a good combination at all. The seating is a bit of a squeeze so you kind of feel like you are listening in to your neighbour’s conversation and them to yours. The service was good and the prices ok too. All in all, an average experience.

Can only comment on breakfast.... but I was annoyed to order a smoothie from the menu only to find out it comes out of a bottle and isn't made on the premises. Aside from that, food was okay but I wouldn't rush back.

Filled with people that don’t work! This place is simply packed with women who meet for coffee each day. Avoid in the daytime! Food is good, but overpriced, small portions! Service is always good though!

Coat hanging is limited and therefore a good number of coats would have to be on the backs of chairs? I am not too happy either with the strangely designed & untidy bathroom facilities as they are sited somewhat remotely upstairs and are unisex!

Have been here a few times, the food just keeps on getting better, you have to taste the sole and prawns, staff are very friendly and the prices are very good for the standard of food served!!!

Great place for either a coffee and scone, a hearty breakfast or a casual meal in the evenings. I love their breakfasts, you can have the traditional full Irish or a vegetarian for something different. In the evenings they have recently opened for dining, which is also lovely. Cafe style atmosphere, but food is great, and reasonably priced.

Wonderful vivacious atmosphere that emanates from every inch of this restaurant. Staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to accommodate. Food is consistently good and ones biggest challenge is actually getting a table! The food/ ambience at night is great too and a totally different experience.

I'm a regular customer of this restaurant. Great value food, nice service and atmosphere. It's open as a coffee shop during the day, serving a lot of very nice home made dishes. It's also a good spot to go at night, with the menu changing for the nighttime. Some very nice seafood dishes there indeed.
