Lovely cosy place and food is very nice although pricey for these times!! Can be very very warm on busy nights due to no window/s in Restaurant also where i was seated (between the two sections of the restaurant) i had to keep shifting my seat to allow for the staff/customers to pass which was very annoying , this being a tight area it would be a good idea to remove this table so people can pass freely.

I've eaten in here a few times for lunch now. The atmosphere is nice in here, looks warm and cosy, romantic. can be easily missed or walked passed as there are steps down into the restaurant.. the last time i was here i got the salmon and hollandaise sauce.. it was very tasty. the salmon was really well cooked, tasted wonderfull. the hollandaise sauce was rich and yellow, the mashed potatoes were beautifully seasoned. my mother got the steak well done, and what a helping it was.. it came with a side salad in a seperate bowl, nice selection of leaves.. peppercornsauce in a jug, slightly watery.. chips, and mushrooms and onions on the plate with the steak. the presentation of food is very nice. the service is great, very polite and attentive the few times i'v been here. i'm soon to have an evening meal in here and i really look forward to that date.. great value for money.

Now here is a little gem worth visiting.....super restaurant tucked down in a basement in the middle of Charleville, passing through on the way to West Cork and felt hungry rather then eat a takeaway, I pulled in and literally stumbled across this place ...a real find service is 100% food is 100% good value for money and packed too capacity a real pleasure buzzing atmosphere will defo come back for an evening meal...!
