We came here for my birthday on Saturday. We booked a table for 8.30 but werent seated until 9pm. Then our starter didnt come until after 9.30. However, the service was excellent and speedy (after the initial wait), the food was amazing and the atmosphere and view from the restauarnt were great. I had half lobster to start which was lovely and then John Dory for main which was also delicious. My partners fillet steak was amazing. I got a nice birthday treat for dessert which was a really nice touch. Would eat here again but only on a special occasion as it is a bit pricey, but worth it.

We frequently visit Howth, but this was a our first visit to Aqua. We went in on the spur of the moment looking for a light bite. We shared a main course seafood platter that was top notch and at €29, not bad value Platter included half a grilled lobster, 3 rock oysters, 3 langoustines, some excellent smoked salmon, wonderful crayfish salad and garnishes. It was a beautiful day and the view from the huge picture windows was very pleasant. Will certainly be back

Having just discoverd I have outgrown my seafood allergy I was dying to try out this restaurant. The location and views are fantastic even if you don't have a window seat. We wento for the à la carte lunch and I could not fault it! Crab claws and mussels for starters followed by the seafood platter and scallops...all I can say is "Yum" ! A mix of people here would not be going back for the atmoshere but staff are lovely and very attentive, can't wait to go back!

As a seafood lover, maybe I was looking forward to my meal here too much! Don't get me wrong, the service was exceptional from the minute we walked in the door. Considering it was one of the busiest weekends around town for restaurant bookings, there wasn't much of an atmosphere about and quite a lot of empty tables. My partners choice of starters and main couldn't be faulted - 6 Oysters to start and Scallops & Prawns for main. For me, I just wasn't blown away - I had baked Crab Claws to start, which were average. There was nothing special either about my main of Cod with Celeriac Puree & Asparagus. I would love to say that I look forward to returning to experience those spectacular views other reviewers have mentioned but I wouldn't be in a rush back. With a bottle of wine, an aperatif and coffee, the bill was 136euro.

Recently had a Early Bird in Aqua.Love the Food, its simple yet delightful and i requested Vegetarian options and chef offered a lot of options which made me happy, My partner had Cod which was seasoned & cooked to perfection. A lot of fancy restaurants pay more attention to Design a plate but In Aqua all the components of your dish are executed to perfections. Lovely Views, Good Food, Excellent Service (Didnt have to top up our wine even once), Great Value, What else You expect from a Delighful evening. Also Dont forget the Creme Brulee, My favourite. Thankz a Million Guys, See ya

Aqua, now this restaurant is a total treat. The view is sensational; you are lulled into relaxation gazing over the water. It’s a bit like being on holidays only you are indoors. The food is exceptional, my partner is a diehard steak man and he reckoned it was the best steak he has had in years. The overall experience, definitely one for the diary and one I will repeat as soon as I possibly can :-) Absolutely loved it!

Dined in Aqua with my partner for a romantic dinner. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and the view is amazing.I have eaten here quite a few times now, and find it very hard to fault anything. The restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient. I had the Crab Claws to start, fantastic. My partner had the Lobster And Cray Fish Salad, she said it was amazing. For mains I had the Dover Sole and my partner had the Saddle Of Venison. The staff were very attentive and service was very quick and friendly. We will definitely go back. Great food, great service, great athmosphere and great view. Can't beat it, go and see for yourself!

We visited aqua for Sunday lunch, Set menu excellent price well A' la carte bit pricey though. Fresh seafood, great views were seated by the window enjoyed it a lot. They have live Jazz on every Sunday between 2 to 4PM which is a nice touch. I had Prawn and crayfish starter and Cajun Salmon for mains and my partner had Chowder and Guinea Fowl everything lived up to our expectations. Staff are friendly and professional. They do Early Bird special for 2 including wine for €73.50 and would love to try the Early bird during our next visit.

A group of twelve visited Aqua on a recent Friday and were , in general, most impressed with our visit. We had various starters and main courses from the a la carte menu. The Prawn, crab meat and melon starter was beautifully presented but with only two prawns, a spoonful of crab and three small slices of melon , was very over-priced at Euro 14.95 ! The same complaint was echoed by those who had different starters. The main courses were excellent - steaks cooked exactly as ordered and the Dover Sole was melt in the mouth. One major complaint: no pre-dinner gin and tonics nor after dinner brandies. Aqua do not have a spirit licence! They said they are waiting for it to come through. Not good enough as they opened ten years ago. Otherwise a great night if a little over-priced.

This restaurant has got the best views across Dublin Bay, great for watching the sun go down looking out over Ireland’s Eye and Lambay. We started with prawn and crayfish salad with main courses of baked sea bass and salmon and due to the good sized portions, we shared a dessert of rhubarb crumble. The fish was beautifully cooked, flaky and delicious. Most of the vegetables served are grown on their own allotment. There is a good wine selection as well as a full bar. The staff are friendly and professional, everything was served in a timely manner. It has been a while since I ate at Aqua, but it won’t be long before I return .

I have been Aqua many times as the restaurant is in a lovely location overlooking Howth harbour. View over the sea makes it very special. I absolutely love this serene atmosphere. The restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient. Their service were very good. But this evening I was very disappointed. After the prawn starter which was tasty and usually tried We ordered main course of Cod. I was very disappointed by an overcooked fish on top of very bland mash. It was tasteless. My partner also agreed me and she couldn't eat even little. We did not bother with dessert as we lost our interest in food. I expect so much more from this restaurant specially in main fish. Though I love this location very much I will not be returning in the near future.

The best seafood restaurant in Dublin, now let's see. Was here probably 5 years ago, thought the food was very pricey. Made a early bird reservation for lunch. Entree- tiger prawn salad, and main was grilled seabass fillet. A glass of red wine. I am itching to say seafood was mediocre, not worth the reputation and the advertisement. The tiger prawn was like a normal-sized prawn, maybe recession is hitting even the prawn population in Howth. The main was alright, nothing special worth shouting about. Maybe I came with high expectation, but can't blame me, it is pricey though. The final bill was 50e with cofffee, and the premium included is the seaview. Once I settled the bill, I felt I was all alone, not even a courteous thank you on exiting the premises.

1st and most probably only visit. Had heard this restaurant a little upmarket and special so decided to surprise Mr. Boop for his birthday. All fine to start, nice table overlooking sea. A visit to ladies (toilets themselves fine) but very damp mouldy smell like they had had a bad leak.Ordered starters, v. nice (v. expensive) lobster and crayfish salad for himself and pate for me. Mr. Boop choose the rack of lamb, nice but no more special than anywhere. I had the steak, also nice but just missing something. The mashed potatoes were a disgrace. Literally a bowl of mash, no seasoning, salt, pepper, butter. Tasteless mush. We were debating what to have for dessert when all of a sudden all the staff were out pulling tables apart, dragging chairs around and basically re-arranging place. Also laying the tables with linen cloths (which we did not have). All the diners (including ourselves) just sitting there watching all this going on. One by one people started leaving (also including ourselves) as just did not feel comfortable. Literally felt like they were closing up and rushing you out. We brought this up with the Manager and pointed out people watching this and he replied, oh well we know those people, they are our supplies. HELLO... We are not your suppliers and came out for special night. Not to watch furniture removal. But basically he just said O.K. sorry. Well, won't be back and won't be recommending to anyone else.

I went there for a family dinner. The venue itself is lovely, the views are great. But the food was disappointing esp as it was on the expensive side. Also, for the type of restaurant it is, the service was poor. All in all a disappointing evening was had, which is unfortunate as it's a lovely looking restaurant

Have been eating here on and off for years. I love the location and views. This evening we went for dinner and I found the service to be good but it could have been more smiling. I chose a soup starter which was very good in both taste and portion size. My companion ordered off the set menu and chose a starter of chicken liver pate followed by a main of guinea fowl both of which he loved. For my main I had a perfectly cooked very tasty fillet steak on a bed of onion mash. We declined deserts. The atmosphere is nice here the only problem I would have is that there were a few children wandering around unsupervised. Based on todays visit and in addition past visits here I would both return and recommend this establishment.

Despite its unique location, this restaurant is over-rated and over-priced. Perhaps the problem stems from their bizarre claim that "When it comes to eating the finest and freshest seafood in Dublin, there is only one choice - Aqua Restaurant". That's not merely playful braggadocio - it's easily disproved by dining in neighbouring restaurants. Aqua clearly believes its own hype, however, and prices the menu accordingly. Our Sunday lunch bill came to €80 for two people, and we had no wine! My companion's charges for her two-course set menu increased from a pricey enough €25 to €37because of the €12 supplement for the Dover sole (which was very good). My two choices from the A la carte menu totalled an absurd €41. Still, the food was good if not sublime (which I'd nearly expect for that amount of cash!). Apart from the cost, I have two further criticisms: of the five fish mains, all were pan-fired; not a single example of a baked or poached fish. That's a serious oversight. My second criticism is the table etiquette of the two waiters who served us. When collecting or delivering plates, they both leaned right in to the table, without warning, so that we had to lean backwards to avoid getting a plate or arm in the face. Neither chap was friendly, not that I care for fake jollity, but their serving style was offensive and reeked of contempt for the customer. So, decent food, steep prices, and scandalous customer service are my impressions of Aqua. I believe we'll take our future Sunday lunches in any one of the many more pleasant restaurants in Howth.

This was my fourth visit to this restaurant and on this occasion I was with a party where the individual has chosen Aqua on my recommendation. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and both the excellent fish and meat dishes were enjoyed by a variety of age groups. The service was excellent and attentive. There was no rushing us and we enjoyed each others company and the facilities the restaurant offered. Well done to all and thank you

Beautiful views of howth harbour, and the food we had was excellent. It was a set menu for 100 people but everybody agreed that the food was excellent. There were 3 choices for each course. I had the Chicken liver pate was superb, followed by Braised Lamb shank with scallion mash, and an apple crumble to finish. There was a chair lift for wheelchair access because there is no lift. The service was great, with waiters and bar staff very friendly and efficient. I will visit again, when I can afford the full menu.

First time visit here with my husband. Reviews were pretty good so I was expecting good food. Restaurant is in a great position overlooking the sea. I had a starter of Risotto which was very good. I then opted for the white fish of the day which was Hake. This was served on some very tasty mashed potato with a tiny portion of white sauce and unfortunately not one vegetable. The Hake was very disappointing. It was tasteless and served skin side up with no color and horribly soft. My husband has the Fish and Chips which he enjoyed but was a hefty €17.95. We didn't bother with dessert. The double expresso was the most expensive I have ever had at €3.50. Service, although quite, was not attentive. We gave it a try but will not be back.

Our group of 4 adults and two children went for the early bird menu as it looked quite good value, there was a good choice for an early bird, i had the crab and prawn starter which was tasty followed by fish and chips which was also good, a little more food on the plate would be good but i suppose for the price of 30 euro with dessert included with tea / coffee i couldnt really complain, the atmosphere was good, restaurant was full and the views over the sea makes it special, the staff were friendly and helpfull with the children by bringing a high chair, heating bottles and turning a blind eye to the 5 year old getting under the waiters feet !! the house wine is a reasonable price and quite good, looking forward to another visit soon.

Oh dear! This was a very disappointing evening. I have been to Aqua many times over several years and have always been impressed with the food and service. It is difficult to understand how both the service and quality of food have declined in a short space of time. A bottle of water was ordered when we arrived and then forgotten about. My partner, who is pregnant, could not order anything from the choice of starters as the only non shellfish choice was chicken liver pate. The seared tuna was great. After the tuna, I was looking forward to the main course of Halibut but I was disappointed by an overcooked piece of fish on top of very bland mash. My partner had cod with chips and at 24 Euros it was way overpriced for what was on the plate. We had ordered steamed spinach as a side and received some average spinach leaves sitting in a bowl half full of water. During this time THREE different waiters had come to the table to ask if everything was ok. Normally, I would not be shy about voicing dissatisfaction, but in the case of Aqua, I was prepared to give them a chance as anyone can have an off night. We were left the dessert menus by a fourth waiter and thirty minutes later, another waiter came to take the order. I told him I had lost interest at this point and asked for the bill. We paid the bill and then yet another waiter came to try to get us to pay again! Clearly, the staff were busy with some large groups that arrived after us. I expect so much more from this restaurant as I know they are capable of delivering great food and service. Something has changed in the last six months. I will not be returning in the near future.

I absolutely love Aqua, I'm lucky enough to live nearby. When we go, it's usually go for Sunday lunch, which is great value & always delicious. the service is great - very attentive, but not intrusive. Apart from having probably the best views in Dublin, Aqua now have a kitchen garden on the hill of Howth where they source a lot of their fruit & veg & apparently they served beef form Lmabay island over the month of August, so they are true champions of local, fresh produce. If you#re in Howth, make sure to visit!

Went to Aqua recently for the early bird. As we were hungry we decided to try the Surf and Turf with pepper sauce. My husband asked for something different and was given a lovely mushroom sauce. I can honestly say this was the best meal I have had in a restaurant in a very long time. (We eat out a lot!) - the lobster was fresh, sweet and wonderfully cooked. The steak delightfully rare, and tender. It was a feast fit for a king. We can't stop telling our friends about it. The service was good as usual and the views of the yachts around Ireland's eye is always a treat. We have eaten out a lot in Howth recently and usually pay about €50 per end when everything is added up. This meal was about this price, which represents excellent value for money, and beats the competition hands down. We will certainly return and order the same again, can't wait.

Very good location, amazing view, good service. I felt that the menu wasn't that exiting for the fish restaurant. It feels that I saw menu like this five or so years ago.My starter seafood chowder was a very big, huge portion. Besides I had eaten better seafood chowders before. My main dish was a big piece of monkfish (dry and rubbery) on pea puree. I have no doubt that puree was made either from canned peas or peas were overcooked. As side dish we had spicy potato wedges (which lacked both spices and seasoning) and spinach which was very good. My husband liked very much his organic salmon. We didn't even order desserts as we couldn't eat any more. I felt the menu lacked seasonal or modern twist.

Had a lovely lunch here. the lunch set menu is quite expensive at €30 per head and that doesn't count the many 'extras' added onto some meals such as steak and lobster. We had paté and risotto to start which were both delicious and left us eagerly awaiting our mains; fish and chips and salmon. The salmon was lovely and the chef was happy to exchange the mushroom sauce to a white wine sauce. the fish and chips were a let down. such an easy dish; overcooked and very very dry. I will definitely go back again as the atmosphere, staff, view and most dishes are great!

10 out of 10 on all counts! We had an intimate family wedding recently in Aqua and we couldn't say enough good things about the venue and the staff. The food is great and very well priced. The setting is fabulous and the staff were so helpful. We were made to feel anything was possible and they were so flexible with tailoring everyting to our needs. Thanks again to all the rest of the staff who helped make our day FANTASTIC!

Food is good but expensive and service was a bit slow on the night, as it wasn't packed. My partner was impressed with the sea bass but I wasn't wild about the steak as it definitley wasn't rare as I like it.I guess I should have told them this on ordering. I will be more aware next time. I would go back but I think that lower pricing would make this place a bit more attractive. Restaurant itself is gorgeous. Views are great.

Fab, fab, fab! If you like seafood, this place is in a league of its own. The fish is naturally fresh and extremely tasty...I don't normally have deserts but did on this occasion and it was outstanding! The waiting staff where excellent! This restaurant is perfect for a sunny day or a rainy night, especially if you get a seat by the window with the waves crashing against the building...very atmospheric!

Oooh, I like Aqua! Wonderful location on the pier, with great food to match. I loved the service, the food, the wine, and the overall experience. Although there were only four of us, and we were availing of the special offer dinner with wine, we were given a large table with lots of room. Crisp linens all round! The bar is extremely comfy, yet smart. A great place for a special dinner out.

We had wanted to go to Aqua for a while now and finally made a booking for my father's birthday. I'd mentioned on the phone that we needed space for a pram and they gave us a lovely table in a quiet corner with fabulous views of Howth and the sea! The food was amazing and all four of us were well impressed with the standard and quality of the food. The lobster was very tasty (both as a starter and a main) and my parents were delighted with their oysters! The dover sole and seatrout were delicious and the portions generous - nobody had space left for dessert. It's not cheap but well worth trying for special occasions! Otherwise the lunch specials and early bird are very good value. I'll definitely go again!

We went for our anniversary on the basis of reviews we read. I can't remember the last time either of us have been that disappointed with our meal. The views are certainly fantastic and it was a beautiful day but that can't possibly make up for bad food. The caesar salad was far over loaded in a thick garlicy dressing that was dreadful, even my husband wouldn't eat it and he eats anything. The scallops were fine though the dressing a bit bland and the main course portion was a quite small with just a handful of leaves and a sprig or two of asparagus. The fillet steak was dry and tough on the outside and very rare on the inside. My husband prefers his meat more on the rare of medium rare but felt most people would have sent it back and the sauce that came with it had obviously been sitting under the lights for a long time there was such a layer of scum on it. Needless to say we won't be rushing back after such a disappointing experience.

Aqua used to be a Sunday lunch regular for me and my partner until recession kicked in!. We decided to treat ourselves a couple of weeks ago and I was pleased to see that neither quality or service have dropped since my last visit. We both were starving so we opted for the lunch 3 course menu. Himself had the mushroom soup for starter which was fab, creamy and smooth. I had the chicken liver pate, also to die for. It came with a lovely brioche and caramelised onion, really enjoyed it. We both went for the fish and chips for main. It is always a fantastic choice, light crispy battered cod with chunky chips and one of the best tartate sauce you can get. It came with a vegetables plate on the side, which it was wonderful but in my opinion unnecessary as the main course is hughe. We didnt have room for dessert other than lovely coffee. The waiting staff is always friendly and efficient without getting on your face too much. Truly fantastic value with a wonderful seaview, always a winner!

We went here for my Mum's Birthday ,party of 3, Unfortunately it was a foggy night so we could not enjoy the view. Service was a bit slow and with our waiter getting some of our order wrong! Firstly bringing a glass of wine instead of a Bottle. We had Calamari for starters which was delish! My Venison Mains was ab fab! Although I was disappointed with My Sisters Seabass , it was very bland with only a few roasted veg to accompany the fish! On the otherhand the Sides were yummy!

Went to the Aqua for Sunday lunch. As always - great choice of different seafood and fish on the menu, food always is simple but very tasty, super helpful and nice staff, good wine. It is an expensive place, but really worth it for that special treat. Booking would be highly recommended unless you are walking in early (like we did - at about 1pm, place was nearly full in an hour).

Three of us went for the early bird and really enjoyed both the food and the wine. It was very quite, which took away from the ambience but the staff made up for this, by their friendleness and efficency.Fish of the day was cod and it was excellent also steak which was very good. Starters for all, big juicy prawns and salad, tasty. One desert , three bottles of house red , two Irish coffees and one port for 170 Euro. Great night, nice food , we left feeling very contented.

Went for the early bird, which is very good value. The Paté was really good and the chowder and soup also went down well. Two of us had the steak and the one had the fish and chips. All cleared the plates. The steak was cooked to perfection. The only sligh negative was that it wasn't very warm in the restaurant, and it was freezing in the ladies toilet!

The atmosphere was quite relaxed, the view from our table was spectacular only negatives was that the restaurant was very cold and the butter rock hard. The food was delicious - the risotto was excellent, the salad with the tiger prawns was delicious, the scallops were cooked to perfection. The service was prompt the price was a tad high but that's because we chose the a la cart and opted not to go for the very reasonable lunch menu

It's difficult to fault Aqua's early bird offering. I took my parents for the early bird on a Saturday. Sitting against a full-length panoramic window that creates the illusion of floating in the sea, this was an extreme dining experience for a snip! At €70 for two people, you get 3 courses and a bottle of wine between you. Between the four of us - the wife, my parents and mise - we tried nearly everything and it all hit the spot. The only con I can think of is that there weren't enough prawns in the prawn starter, but in fairness they were fresh and succulent... and it's not like we left hungry. My dad and I had the steak for mains (manly men, us) while the womenfolk went for a couple of different fish dishes. All were bang on the money. We got a bottle of Lebanese wine - Chateau Kefraya. It's beautiful! I haven't seen it elsewhere in Dublin but it's certainly worth getting in Aqua. The 2 bottles of house wine that came with the menu were given to us after the Kefraya, and we retired to the cosy bar until closing time to drown our sorrows. Total bill for four people and an extra buideal came to €184 (but we lashed a load more wine on top of that!). Great value.

The best early bird meal to be had. have been lucky enough to have visited this lovely restaurant twice in the last few weeks. the early bird is great value and offers a good choice although some of the sumplement charges are are a bit hefty and can defeat the point of the early bird and make more sense to treat yourself to the al a carte. The views make the restaurant worth a visit but it just so happens that in my view it is the finest seafood restaurant in Dublin as well.

Went to aqua because my girlfriend has been raving about it for as long as I've known her and it was her birthday. Suffice it to say we weren't disappointed. The seafood chowder was as a chowder should be, salty and full of seafood. Maybe a touch too much potato but I never was a potato person. The main of lamb shank was of the perfect consistency. Not falling off the bone because it had been steamed to a pulp but easily removable and tasty meat with some consistency to it. For desert I had a fine bailys coffee which wrapped proceedings up nicely. Staff were very highly trained and the view is nothing short of spectacular. My one complaint would be that *all* the 2-seater tables are in the middle of the floor so you'll never get a window seat no matter how early you book (apologies in advance if I missed one). The tables at the window are all 4-seaters.

I was on a business outing today and met up with my partner and went for lunch...a lot of restaurants in Howth..but we decided Aqua....I have 2 say the View is to die for ....we got the best seat..Menu was great as it had a wide choice of seafood and continental options...nd the wine list was extensive...we ordered a wine and the server actually nade some good nodes about the wine and suggested food to go with it without asking..which was good sales man ship...wine was served very professionaly..and food was likeable..Nothing was 2 overpowering and Best Creme Brulee....the whole experience was lovely...Nnow i have 2 say when u pay a good price u do get good value in Aqua for definite as staff looked very professional and knew what they were doing...In my few past Continental food experiences i was starting to hate it..but for sure Aqua has woken up my Taste buds again for seafood.....Definitely it will be a visit once a month....Keep up the good work folks....Cheers

Howth can be a mixed bag when it comes to seafood in my experience. Happily this is one restaurant that has no difficulty delivering on its promise. We had dinner booked for eight yesterday evening, arrived early, so decided to have a drink in the reception lounge area first. This was very pleasant with a nice log fire to welcome us. The staff were very polite and helpful. For starters we had duck liver pate and the vegetable soup, both were quite delicious and generous portions. Our main courses were baked cod, and whole bass, with sides of vegetables accompanied by and Alsace Riesling. The service was very good and professional. Food was excellent and the view over the sea really adds to the experience. Very good value for money, even tough its not cheap. A great place for a special occasion.

The only positive aspect of this visit was the fantastic view you have in this place. Maybe my expectations were to high, but the food was very much average. The Vegetable Soup was ok, but nothing that would stand out. The Main course, pan fired sea trout, wasn't bad either, but then again you can't do much wrong frying fish. The side dish didn't much improve on that either. The House Wine (Merlot) offered with the Special was one of the least enjoyable House wines i've had so far. The staff was kind of ignoramus. You would expect a smile when clearing the table or at least once a question if everything was alright. There was pretty much no interaction at all. Given that we had an early bird special the value for money wasn't too bad, but i would have expected much more of a restaurant in this price category and with this reputation. The whole evening was pretty much average, if not below standard. Even the stunning view won't lure us back for a 2nd visit.

Had the pleasure of sampling the special lunch menu at Aqua yesterday and couldn't fault it on every level. In terms of value for money 50.00 for 2 x starters, mains, desserts, coffee and house wine, who can complain? Food was fab, service fast & polite, the stunning views completed a fab experience

This restaurant really makes the most of its location. With large glass walls looking out to sea, it is really beautiful. There are so many other restaurants which totally fail to benefit from their nice locations in this way. I had the early bird menu here which is served up to 5. As I arrived 4.30 I had the added benefit of eating in a quiet enough restaurant, it was prob v busy earlier in the day. The prices in this restaurant had always stopped me going, but at 30 euro per person for the early bird, I was very happy with what was served up to me. The main course of sea trout was really outstanding. The wine is fairly pricey still, and they could do with a bigger selection for desserts, but everything I had, I enjoyed. I will go back as long as the early bird is on offer.

We have been quite frequent visitors of Aqua the last year or so. Most often we would go for the early bird and it has always proved to be of great value. The staff is generally very attentative and knowledgeable. The cosy bar is also well worth a visit, we have spent the better part of a weeks wages here;) as the wine list is well worth a deeper study. I do agree that the restaurant may be a little bit loud at times and I prefer visit the establishment when it is rather quiet.

Had a fantastic meal here with my boyfriend, very pleasant staff and very realxed atmosphere. I had the calamari to start which was ok but the Cover Sole was to die for. I had been looking forward to some fresh well cooked fish and I wasn't disappointed, it was perfect!. My only issue was that the dining room was a bit chilly but that it certainly not enough to stop me from going back. Might be a bit on the expensive side and with so many good restaurant on that strip maybe a price review would be in order.

I went here with my boyfriend on Saturday night. Despite being almost empty, we were told that they needed the table back by 9.30pm?!. We was here before and had a great time but we were both very disappointed with the food this time. I had pate to start, followed by swordfish with roasted veggies. The duck pate tasted exactly like any other pate I could buy in the supermarket. The fish was quite dry, despite the copious amounts of garlic oil drizzled over the whole plate. My boyfriend's starter of crab spring roll was ok. Plenty of crab but quite dry too. He asked for his steak to be medium but it came out a bit rare. His meal too was covered in garlic oil! We didn't stay for any coffees or desserts. With 2 glasses of wine (for me to wash down the swordfish!), the bill was about €120. We should have went to the chipper!

Not being a seafood lover I was obliged to join friends in Aqua for a celebratory dinner. I opted for the soup which had a wonderful homemade taste to it, accompanied by various choices of warm mini breads. I chose steak for main. It was cooked to perfection. We order a selection of vegetables for sharing....delicious!!! Try their bacon & cabbage. Overall I surprisingly loved Aqua, the food was perfect, everyone enjoyed theirs immensely. Our waiter was attentive and polite. The view from the restaurant was spetacular and charming. A restaurant where you can really enjoy a good dinner, great wine, excellent service and a magnetic view!!

The dining party consisted of six adults and one toddler. We went for the afternoon meal. We had a quick drink in the bar before being shown to a lovely table right by a window. Due to the design of the room it's very hard not to have a great view, but by the window certainly is the best. We all decided to choose from the set menu, rather than a la carte but the selection available suited everybody's taste. Five orders of risotto and one soup arrived quickly and everyone enjoyed their dish. When it came to main courses we all decided on the battered cod with chips. The cod sizes were nice and big and the 'chips' were delicious quartered and roasted potatoes. There was also a small garnish of salad on our plates and some side dishes of vegetables which arrived. The food was very nice, but as this restaurant is emphasising its seafood qualities, it certainly wasn't anything exceptional or above normal that I have eaten elsewhere. In saying that though, I couldn't fault the food at all. The service was exceptional and friendly at all times. The staff were readily available when needed and very pleasant to deal with. Deserts and coffee were delicious, but as I wasn't paying I only have a rough idea of the cost. The set menu was about twenty five Euro a head, which is quite reasonable. I'd like to go back and try out the a la carte menu sometime, but the prices did seem quite expensive for what was listed.

Went for a special occasion ,wedding anniversary, as this place had a previous reputation of being good. We were offered a seat beside the open kitchen area, was not happy with that ,but was told there were no other two seater tables. My face was subsequently seared due to the heat of the Food Lamps. Seemingly bored kitchen staff stared at me as I ate my lobster starter, very off putting. My steak was tiny, a disgraceful portion for the price. It was also dry and ordinary. My wifes food was better, but again, small portions. I could hear a bass thud of music in the background, which only added to the irritating noisiness of this place. The roof is low, the decor bland. I guess the window seats would have been nicer, but no excusing the food and general bad atmosphere. Very disappointed, I left hungry, and a lot lighter in the wallet than was appropriate. The staff were ok, but largely disinterested. Be interesting to see how they get on in the recession, not good methinks!

i have visited aqua at least 6 or 7 times and i keep going back. the food has always been fresh, tasty and delicious coupled with very good service. the best value is the early bird menu which for a long time was 20euro for 2 courses (often straight off the dinner menu, usually representing about half price) and is now about 23euro for 2 courses. also they have a good deal on getting 3 courses and a bottle of wine for a good price - the wine list is good too, even the cheapest bottles are very nice. besides the early bird offerings i have also eaten from the dinner menu here twice and found the food to be excellent, the most memorable being a huge piece of beautiful beef served with sweet potato wedges - a personal favourite. i find the decor relaxing and tasteful and the tables are well spaced apart. the service has been excellent always, even stretching to allowing my girlfriend change her main course entirely when she discovered she didnt like some of the ingredients in her original order. the waiters do not hover like others but appear when desired. also for a classy place i am treated with the utmost respect when (as a college student) i am not one of their regular clientele - the management have always been polite and friendly. highly recommended.

Went to Aqua for the early bird last weekend and really enjoyed it. The setting is absolutely beautiful with clear views out over the ocean. The service was professional and the food extremely tasty. We had salmon and duck for mains which were delicious. At 75 euro for 3 courses each and a bottle of wine its excellent value and we'll definitely be back.

I went here for a special occasion and have to admit I was slightly disappointed. The food my partner had was lovely, but my swordfish was quite dry. The setting is amazing and worth going for that alone but in terms of atmosphere, it wanted. The desserts were fabulous and definitely made up for the poor main course but given that it was a fish restaurant and they cooked the steak better than the fish, I was a little taken aback. Having said that, it was an enjoyable meal, and I would go back.

Went to Aqua for the first time last weekend. I found the whole experience to be of excellent quality and of high standard. The service and atmosphere were excellent. The restaurend was beautiful with an amazing view overlooking howth. My partner and i sat on the side of the restaurant which has one huge window overlooking the sea. It was a lovely experience. We ordered off the early bird menu. I had Seabass and oh my god it was the nicest seabass i have ever eaten in this country. We were both very impressed with the whole meal. I have recommended Aqua to friends. I will definitely dine there again soon.

Perhaps one of the best views in Dublin. Had the Early Bird which is good value for money. We found the service very good on our visit. Rib-Eye Steak wasn't the best quality though, but with those views you can forgive the odd hiccup!

Took my wife, 4 yr old daughter and mother in law for lunch on Friday. Had not made a booking, greeted by a rather snutty maitre-d/Manager - not very welcoming. However, once we walked into the restaurant, snutty maitre-d forgotten because of tremendous views. We had a lovely, friendly waiter. I order seafood chowder - it was tasty but a little watery and not a shellfish in sight. My wife and Mother in law had the carrot and ginger soup - both enjoyed it - but commented that a little watery also. I had cod and chips for main course - cod was very disappointing, chips lovely - I have had better in the Howth fish and chip shop! My mother in law had salmon - huge portion - very nice. My wife's pan fried trout - delicious - served with a lovely fresh salad. There was no children' menu. The waiter suggested pasta with tomato sauce. This was enjoyed by my daughter but we did feel a little stung when charged 10 euros for her dish - considering a two course lunch was 20 euros!!! When it came to dessert, a younger waiter came over to mumble something - did not inspire us. Overall fantastic views, food okay - do not have a longing to return!!

I went to Aqua with my husband on a Saturday for the early bird deal which is excellent value. We had a lovely funny waitor who was friendly without being over the top. The food was delicious, the service was great and we will definatly be returning.

We went for lunch on Saturday an it was very disappointing. The location and dining room are magnificent but the food and service was uninspiring. Now the problems with service may have been down to new staff (as overheard) but the food really was quite boring. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing to get excited about. Value-wise it wasn't bad - the set lunch is €30. If you want to go a la carte you could easily spend €30 on your main course alone! All in all an adequate experience, but don't think I will be returnng.

Went to Aqua a couple of weekends ago with my girlfriend. It was the third time I've been and I was very disappointed at the poor service we received. It was busy, but not manic, and after ordering we sat for 20 minutes waiting for our wine to come. At one point we asked a waiter if he could see what had happened and he actually said no and walked off?! Finally got the wine just as the food came out about 30 minutes after we'd ordered, it appeared they had forgotten to take the wine order... Then at the end of the meal, the credit card machines weren't working, so we ended up sitting for 25 minutes waiting for a solution, no explanations given, no offer of a coffee on the house to apologise for the inconvenience...! Very frustrating and unprofessional.. particularly for the price you pay for the food.. The food is good, but with the level of service we got i don't think i'll be going back, and won't recommend it to anyone again.

Fabulous location - perhaps more suited to those with sea-legs if seated close to the window! Good food and the early bird is easily one of the best value meals in Dublin. Albeit the hospitality could certainly be improved upon - perhaps more warmth is required rather than the cool ambivalence which currently prevails.

I went here for my mam's birthday a few weeks ago and I have to say its the nicest cod and chips i have ever eaten in my whole life. Beautiful. I live locally but I still appreciate the beautiful view that you have - you can see the whole bay, Ireland's eye, Lambay Island etc. The service was impeccable and all of us were very happy with the food. Would highly recommend it. Go for the early bird though. Same experience just better price.

Nice atmosphere. Wasn't overly impressed with the choice of starters, but main courses very good. Try the venison or the seabass. Both were high quality. I love seafood!

Went here due to the Early Bird deal they have for €65 with wine. I had the goats cheese and beetroot salad, which was very good and the serving of seafood chowder was a good size. Mains were the steak and fish and chips. The steak was perfect and the veg served were good portions, as well as the beans that the steak lie on. The fish and chips could have had more than the whole 5 blocks of chips, even a side of veg would be good, but other than that, ample size of fish.1 dessert of pannacotta had, pity there was no chocolate dessert selection, there was also a strudel or a crumble dessert available. The white wine served was actually very good, a Sauvignon Blanc from Argentina. Not bad for €65. Would love to try their main menu next time.

Went here a while back for the early bird menu, good value for money! Nice views of the harbour and very efficient service. The only thing is that the portion sizes are very small. But I would definitely give it another visit sometime.

Ate there last Friday night after booking at short notice. The service on entering was excellent and we were quickly shown to our seats and presented menus. The food was very good and I had no problem with it. Maybe a small bit expensive but I expected that. I just found our server a bit lacking in customer service - reaching over us to pick dirty plates and reaching over my dessert to put down my tea. Sounds a bit anal - but I just hate that. In Summary I will return.

Booked at the last minute on Friday for a Saturday night reservation and as luck would have it they had a table available. Was really looking forward to the visit having heard so many good reports about the place. Although our table for two was just inside the door, I felt a little cramped as the restaurant was quite full. This would be annoying had I booked well in advance but as I had only booked the day previous I was glad to have a table. The risotto to start was divine and the Atlantic halibut was excellent, my wife also had the risotto and the turbot, next time I’ll have that, it was out of this world. Nice Californian chardonnay and a cheese board to finish washed down with a glass of port. A little disappointed that the fondant was off and the brownie was off too, my wife was looking forward to dessert but alas nothing to satisfy the sweet tooth. As so often with last sittings in many Dublin restaurants the popular desserts are often sold out by the time some guests are ready to order. Good setting and the open fire in the bar are great positives for this restaurant. Will be back soon.

Had dinner here on Saturday - early bird menu, very reasonable at Eur65 for 2 people with wine included. We arrived at 6 on the button and were quickly shown to our table. Starters arrived (deep fried durrus cheese for me and calamari for my husband). I really enjoyed mine, calamari was a bit squidgy though. We both ordered cod and chips for main which didn't disappoint. A slice of lemon and some vinegar was all that was missing but the friendly staff provided same on request. Service was very swift again which didnt bother me as you get what you pay for! Dessert for me Baileys cheescake which was nice but very filling plus 1 espresso. A bottle of Chilean white accompanied the food and was fine if a little sweet. very enjoyable and would go back. Eur65 for all this, you really can't go wrong. Highly recommended!

I have been to aqua on several occasions and loved it and was delighted to have the opportunity to go on saturday night,After a lovely cosy drink in the bar beside the fire(it was a horrible rainy night)we were led to a table beside the window.we were not impressed with the choice of starters, but despite that our main course more than made up for it,I had the sea bass and my partner had the venison both were melt in the mouth and we left totally satisfied, the service was excellent(very professional)and cant wait to return.

Aqua, that's a perfect name for this unique restaurant set on stilts in the middle of the sea in Howth, on a clear day like today, we were able to admire Dublin bay. The 3 course lunch menu was €29pp, great selection of fish food, and the quality was excellent, fresh fish, and well presented. The wine was quite pricy, but we really enjoyed the meal.

The views from this restaurant are beautiful. The decor is stylish and the location charming. The menu is fine, the wine list is very good, and the cooking is OK. Portion size for my starter was so mean as to make the price unreasonable, and although the word 'tagliatelli' might mean 'cut into strips' in italian, that isn't what it means in English, so I felt duped when the 'leek tagliatelli' that the menu had advertised as an accompaniment to my fish turned out to just be a little heap of leek.

This restaurant has an amazing view and the location is also pretty good, a bit smelly at times depending on the temperature and season, but yet a sight for sore eyes. The place has a really cool design and the staff are highly trained. The menu is a bit limited but yet every dish is amazing. The portions are very good, and the service is on time. The price is a bit steep, but early bird menus and Sunday lunch is quite affordable. Would recommend to a friend

Oh My God!! Had my first visit to Aqua on Saturday night, the first of many I hope. Oysters and halibut for me, chowder and prawns and scallops for him. The best food I have ever eaten bar none. 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert, 1 baileys coffee, 2 half bottles of wine 150 euro. Food sooooo good that the price was actually inconsequential.

Went here with a large group celebrating a birthday, it was quite nice I have to say. The salmon was cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth. The fact that you can watch the chefs through the glass cooking your meal adds a bit of fun to the occasion.

Decided to try the "Early Aqua" menu last week with a colleague as it looked like great value. Under thirty quid for 2 courses and coffee. Not bad. Started with a confit duck salad, which was quite nice. Light and just the right portion size. The bread I found was quite doughy and undercooked. We both had Salmon Fillet for main course with potatoes and vegetables (Uninteresting). It was large portion and was very nice indeed. Slightly overcooked though but lovely none the less. We complimented this with a delicious Pouilly Fume Ladoucette 2005 for an extremely reasonable €39. Desserts were a bit disappointing though and not really worth mentioning. Nice coffee. Efficient service. Full dining room. Obviously doing things right here.

Aqua has been consistantly good for me. I would go a couple of times a year especially for early birds. The view are out of this world but it can be a bit pricey. One major gripe I have is it tends to get very noisy sometimes I can't even hear my wife!

I love Aqua; it's one of my favorite places to eat. The prawns are divine and the sea bass and chicken are really good but I think they have changed the menu since the last time I have been there so there's another excuse for me to visit. The view is something else especially if you get a table beside the window. I have nothing but good things to say about the place.

What a view! I normally find that restaurants with exceptional panoramic views serve up bland food at best, but Aqua is certainly an exception to this rule. The fish is so fresh and the portions are absolutely monstrous - there is no need to order side orders here! I'm a lover of seafood and have returned to Aqua again and again. It's one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin.

I visited Aqua for the first time on Saturday night with friends and was extremely impressed. The warm friendly ambience hits you when you first walk through the doors. The food and wine were fantastic and the staff extremely helpful. The views are spectacular and another view I liked was being able to look into the kitchen and watch the chefs hard at work. I'll certainly be back and will spread the word around my friends and colleagues. The Pearl of Howth!

I ate at Aqua with 3 friends last Saturday evening. The newly renovated restaurant is very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The atmosphere was electric on Saturday night. With an abundance of staff we were looked after efficiently and plesantly. Their wine selection was perfect. Everyone at my table ordered something different from the menu and we all tried each others food - everything from the scallops and spring rolls to their turbot and chocolate fondant were fabulous. The views from the restaurant are fantastic whether it be day or night. I would highly recommend Aqua for any occasion. If you are on a budget, visit Aqua for their early bird menu which is very good value for money. Take your friends and business colleagues.

I had dinner here on Saturday with my parents, brother, partner and daughter. Food was amazing, atmosphere was great and the views are spectacular. Early bird menu is very good value for money. Only fault was our waiter, not very friendly at all. Another small fault is if you go out onto the balcony, there is a gap in the surround that a small child could fit through which falls straight down onto the rocks - so take care. Would definitely visit this restaurant again in the future.

We dined on the Early Bird menu, as we felt the full menu was a bit over the top pricewise. We had a super table on a lovely evening with the sun going down on the bay and little dingys racing. Menu could be improved: spring roll excellent; Parma ham over done; fish of the day a bit over-cooked; salmon excellent; presentation very good; sweets mostly good. Friendly attentive service. A good evening had by all, best weather of the summer!

One of my favourite restaurants outside of city centre. Amazing views of the Irish sea/Howth from dining area. Best thing is to go there around 7.30pm on a summer evening where you get the sun setting and then Howth lit up. Food is not out of this world but very good nonetheless. Seafood is order of the day and mussels/Sea Bass etc are fresh of the boat and delicious. Great restaurant for a group/special occasion. Service good and not rushed. I would recommend and follow up or start with walk along beach.

Like another reviewer I beg to differ with the negative reviews of aqua. The fish is of course fresh, it couldn’t have been fresher. I brought my wife for our anniversary, and it was very intimate, very romantic, the food was top notch and the ambience delightful. I would thoroughly recommend the oysters, great for sharing, and the sea scallops were also a delight on the palate. If you are looking for the perfect setting for that special occasion, aqua is it.

Very disappointing. I had heard so many good things about Aqua, and was expecting something truly special. The views of Ireland's Eye and Howth harbour were beautiful, and the service was good. However, the food was seriously overpriced. Presentation came at the expense of flavour, and the portions were small. I chose to forego dessert and went for a walk and an ice cream instead. I do not expect such mediocre food at any price; certainly, a fantastic meal can be had for €10 in any number of city centre eateries. My meal cost considerably more than €10, yet the highlight of the evening was the ice cream.

We have been going to Aqua for about 6-7 years (pretty regularly) at this stage, and have always said that we have never had a bad meal there. Well it’s happened, we were there for Sunday lunch (29 July), and had a poor meal. The starters were just average (crab spring role and a calamari). The mains were poor, I had the duck, which was tasteless, and my partner had fish and chips (the fish which was skate wing, which is just bone and skin, very little flesh). Lastly the deserts were only average, banoffee pie probably out of a box from with almost nothing else on the plate bar a tiny mint sprig… As usual the views are spectacular, but this will always be the case, it’s a pity that you can no longer depend on the food to be as good…

I don’t understand all the bad reviews, went for dinner there to see for myself, food was fantastic, one of the best meals out in a long time, the food may not be cheap but it did not matter as it was worth every penny, had pigeon and halibut two wonderful plates. Keep up the great work.

Was there for lunch last week. Food was very good and service was excellent. The starter was delicious, I can’t remember the name of it but it was a parma harm salad type dish with balsamic dressing. I had organic salmon for the main course, which was delicious. It was served with risotti, which I didn’t particularly like. I think that was my own fault as I wasn’t aware that there was so much cheese in risotti. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending aqua and the view is just fab.

After reading the other reviews on Aqua I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised but I'm so sorry to say they're right. The setting is what you go for complete with a seal swimming below the window. The food leaves a lot to be desired. The starters sound great on paper but are nothing out of the ordinary. The mains are outrageously over priced and disappointing. My lamb should have melted in my mouth but it didn’t. A really ordinary small meal with a huge bill.

Really overpriced at night. Expensive starters and no veg or potatoes with main dishes. Expect to pay extra for everything except the bread basket) and don't expect to get out for under €80-€100 a head if you buy wine and have a dessert & coffee. We were a group of 4 and found the quality of the food very good - but not worth what we paid for it. We won't be going back.

I was here for lunch and found the view/ambiance quite nice but found the menu a little disappointing. The lunch menu could have a greater choice of seafood. If you notice, they don't have much choice on this menu at all. Food quality is good however.

been here a few times, having had a fantastic first time, second time was awful but we gave it a few more chances ' chasing the holy grail'. Lunch prices are hugely out of sync for the quality, early bird offers ok value. Fourth bad time in a row, sorry guys wont see you again.

I ate here last nite with my wife and had heard so many good things about it. I was a little disappointed as can be the case when expectations are high. The quality of the food was good (not great as the prices would lead to believe). I had the Crab meat spring roll which was served with a string of pasta (quite boring and portion particularly small) My wife had the Ham & Fois gras which was quite tasty. For main course I had the Tiger prawns (selection was limited) and my wife had the Halibut - both were very nice but not amazing. We had a portion of root vegetable which were very poor - most of them left after us and I am not a fussy eater! Finally the wine selection was a little limited and quite expensive (no bottle under €30) View is spectacular and service is OK

We went to aqua for the lunch menu which was delicious. The parma ham starter was divine and as well as the salmon main course. The views are splendid, the waiters extremely pleasant and a wonderful atmosphere.

Went to Aqua for first time yesterday for lunch and unfortunately I was not impressed. I had my elderly parents with me and was dismayed to find that we had to negotiate a stairs to gain access to the restaurant. We were seated immediately (although we hadn't booked in advance) at a table by the window overlooking the bay, very nice. Most tables had nice white linen tablecloths however ours was just the bare wood. The selection on the menu I found to be very limited, in particular the starters. The food was only lukewarm (a pet hate of mine) and the sauce with the fish was far too sweet. The potatoes were over cooked and the chips under cooked, as were the apples in the apple pie. It was quite expensive for a lunch without any wine and only one alcoholic beverage and especially as none of us were satisfied with the quality of the food. Unfortunately neither I or my parents will be returning and will not be recommending it to others.

Evening menu is very pricey and when the restaurant gets busy you can't hear yourself think. The Early Bird is good value and the views are fabulous, but aside from that food and service are okay. Another 3 star restaurant with 5 star prices!

Had lunch here last Sunday. Was delighted to find that the menu had changed. Prior to this visit the menu seemed to have the same options month in, month out [could even have been year in, year out]. As other reviewers have mentioned the venue is all about the view. The jazz musician made the experience even more pleasant. I like the decor & the way you can see into the kitchen. Top marks for the look & feel of the venue. Now for the food. Food is good but a little pricey. The portions are big. The puddings are particularly big. Lunch is 29 euro. You can get better value but not with the great location. Overall I would recommend

Aqua serve nice food (not excellent, but nice) in nice surroundings in a nice location. Altogether...nice. But not exceptional and quite pricey for what you get.

We went there for our first wedding anniversary. The sky outside was bright and the view was fantastic. The service was very good, the waiter willing to explain in details the menu. The food was very good, but not exceptional. A bit pricey, but overall worth it

I have to confess that, although I have dined at Aqua several times, it has always been the early bird menu. I'm afraid the regular menu is rather expensive for my pocket. Having said that, the food has always been excellent and the staff nice. The really special thing about Aqua is it's setting. It really is second to none. Large glass windows overlooking Ireland's Eye and fishing boats and sailing boats entering the Harbour. There is also a lovely little bar, which is very cosy either before or after your meal. All in all a special place.

My wife and I went for a romantic night out and found the perfect place in Aqua. The views from the restaurant are absolutely breathtaking. The food there is fabulous, perfectly seasoned and coked to the touch. The prices are high enough but worth every penny for what you get and the service is very good also. We will definitely return and a big thumbs up to all at Aqua.

I like the food here - have never had a bad meal and the surroundings are amazing. It was prohibitively expensive before but I think the set menus are actually good value now.

Massive disappointment, considering the hype given by other reviewers. Service and ambience excellent but greatly let down by poor quality of food. Went there for a Christmas dinner - my first and last time

Just excellent. The atmosphere couldn't be better, specially if you can get a seat with the view to the sea. It's not cheap, but any cent spent there is worth it. I don't know how many times people recommend me this place. You should try it too.

Usual Dublin fare - not good, not bad, just utterly bland and utterly forgettable, and at 5 star prices.

Expensive but excellent food & service (great view on a stormy night) Arrived Friday at 17:45 for Early Bird Menu with no booking. Table for 2 available provided meal finished by 1900. Had a quick drink in the bar but declined bottle of wine with meal for a glass of wine each. Queried which menu items were Gluten free as one has coeliac condition and staff answered queries after checking with the Chef. Water & fresh bread on the table. Also toasted Gluten free bread arrived with starters. Nice touch. Great view on a stormy night. Good food with excellent prompt service - did not feel rushed. Finished with table at 19.00 with a leisurely coffee in the bar. Would have liked more time but own fault for not booking. 18 months since last visit. Big improvement in food and service. Will return soon but will book first.

Expensive but very good. My wild mushroom taglietelle was the best pasta dish I have had and it is the only time I have had a pasta dish that was better than what I could cook myself. If I lived nearer to aqua and had deep pockets I would eat there more often.

Aqua is by far one of the best restaurants I have eaten in. The atmosphere in winter is brilliant with the large open fire in the small bar, and the food what can I say tasty to say the least and with a magnificent view over the bay.

Aqua is quite simply one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of dinning in, in Dublin. Aqua is located in Howth Pier - upon entering you are ushered upstairs where the restaurant is located....... and what a breath taking view you will savour! Aqua is the ideal place to go for a romantic dinner (ideal spot for proposing I think!) as the restaurant is surrounded in glass, everyone gets an exceptional view of Howth Pier.... - pure heaven! The food is also delicious - menu constantly changes depending on the catch of the day (just shows how fresh it is!) - it’s a fish lover’s idea of heaven! That’s not to say that Aqua doesn’t cater for carnivores! They also give a number of options of meat lovers. Aqua is not the cheapest place to dine, but it is worth every penny. The staff are exceptionally nice and the restaurant is spotless. I will definitely dine here again. Make sure you reserve a table to avoid disappointment.
