Again lovely food from Bombay Pantry, My second time to have ordered from here. Got the value meal for two at 19.00 We had the buttered chichen and the Jalphrazee Both excellent - very large portion sizes (1 is enough between two if you are not a big eater) Nice Nice and lovely Nan. Only complaint would be the starter the which wasnt that appealling tasted pretty bland and soggy and as its a take away i think they should offer a chicken starter or other meat starter in the meal deal as batters and vegs dont hold well when wrapped up in a bag. But the starter was only an extra and didnt take away from the beautiful main meal which I would highly highly highly reccomend to anyone in Fairview area. will deffo be ordering again (minus the starter)

As usual lovely food from Bombay, both mains were lovely the buttered chichen and the chicken with the chutney. With lovely tasty rice and naam bread was a perfect meal and well worth every cent. Only slight complaint would be the starter the Tiffin Box for Two which wasnt that appealling and slightly cold. But I think once I stick to the mains Bombay Pantry is the best around.

As far as the food goes, this place is sublime. The best Indian takeaway food in Dublin (alongside the other sister restaurants in the chain) by a considerable distance, All the lamb dishes are excellent with the Shashlik being a standout option in my opinion. It is just fantastic for takeaway fare. The chicken dishes also use quality meat rather than "rubber style" chicken which is the unfortunate norm for other similar establishments. However, there are several annoying and very disappointing flaws. Firstly, the food is always freezing when it's delivered even though I live a mile away. Secondly, the level of meanness is bordering on scandalous The value meal is for chicken and vegetarian options only and does offer value to be fair. But if you want lamb or beef it is a whole different ball game. Main courses are not cheap. Rice is extra, dips are extra, appetizers are small and the most annoying of all, poppadoms are 2 euros extra. If you get them with a dip like Tamarind, Mint etc. its 3.50 for something that's free everywhere else. A takeaway meal consisting of two meals with rice for both and poppadoms with a dip is roughly 30 euros with no appetizers or naan bread. You can eat in several good restaurants in Dublin for a similar price nowadays and experience equivalent levels of quality. Great food. Ridiculously mean. It was also a point raised among friends recently who regularly spend considerable money on meals. Everybody agreed that it was the silly manner in which the Bombay Pantry tried to take every miserable cent from your pocket for a takeaway which vexed them. Nearly everyone had a positive opinion about the food. Lesson to be learned. Everyone can't be wrong. Closing at 10 is too early for a takeaway also.

Got take out from here on the way home and I was very pleasantly surprised by the food and price of the meal. Although not the best Indian food I have ever had, it ranks pretty high up on my scale and when you combine that with the price, you are onto a winner, meal for two cost 15 euro, which included one starter, both courses were very tasty and the naan was very tasty. will definitely be getting food from here again

Excellent. Really delicious Indian food and lots of it. The butter chicken is amazing as is the Murg Chutney. Tried the Bombay Ribs for the first time and they are seriously good. Batada Vada is another favourute. We usually eat take away from here once every couple of weeks and delivery is always fast too.

The food here is lovely but not worth the prices that they charge. Butter chicken and chicken tika is delicious. Meal deals would be great throughout the week to get me to go back

Major disapointment. My friend and I ordered chicken tikka starter with plain nan bread and the vegetarian korma with rice. The vegetarian korma was ok, but the rice was incredibly over cooked, very soggy, and seasoned very badly. The chicken masala starter was incredibly cold and dry and unfortunately the nan bread was stone cold. We were expecting a few popadoms and the sauce dips as they, it didnt come with complimentary popadoms which is usual for most takeaways. However we did receive the "mint" sauce, which was not very minty at all, it was more spicy. Our order came to 18:70 all together, including delivery, which to me is an absolute rip off considering the food we got. In the end we had to send the food back and get our refund. Will never order from here again.
