Since opening in 2008 Restaurant 1014 has won critical acclaim with both critics and clientele alike. If attention to detail, a warm personal approach, elegant relaxed surrounds, exciting menu choices and excellent wines are what you are looking for, Restaurant 1014 has it in abundance.

With recently appointed Head Chef Duncan McDougall at the helm there are an exciting range of options specialising in locally sourced fresh fish available on the "specials menu" and the staff are more than happy to cater for any dietary requirements.

Situated opposite the Wooden Bridge at 324 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Restaurant 1014 is owned and operated by the Irish Registered Charity CASA (The Caring And Sharing Association) which since 1981 has provided support for disabled people by offering respite care, regular social outings and annual pilgrimages to Lourdes. All profit from Restaurant 1014 help fund CASA activities.

More recently CASA have opened a second hand book shop and cafe located on the 1st floor above Restaurant 1014. This offers an oasis of tranquility away from the busy coast road and has unrivaled panoramic views of Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains. Why not drop in for a coffee and sample one of their renowned homemade scones served with fresh berry compote and cream.

Irish people love to eat seafood when dining out; in fact, unlike our European neighbours, we eat more seafood outside the home. Perhaps this is a testament to the quality of our seafood restaurants. And for many visitors, a trip to Ireland wouldn’t be complete without sampling a few oysters and sinking a pint of the black stuff. Have eaten here quite a few times and have always been very satisfied with the choice I've made. Menu is varied and of very good standard.

I was grateful that the voucher was allowed although a week past expiry! However, the whole dining experience felt 'bland' to me...food, ambience, service.

Totally thumbs up! Nice atmosphere, really relaxing with lovely views. The staff was friendly (without overdoing it with that american style) and helpful, accommodating a couple of changes on the dishes. Food was beautiful, the seabass was cooked to perfection, wasn't dry at all (which is quite often the case) and so was the chicken. A great experience, It was our first time there and we'll definitely be back.

We visited 1014 using a voucher. I had visted before and have found it to be a little on the expensive side. I still think its a little pricey, I found the female staff to be very helpful & the one male server seemed to be distracted. I ordered the salmon which came with a very hot sauce which he never mentioned this to me, I noticed the female waitress did say this to a nearby table when they ordered the salmon. we also found the restaurant to be very loud and had difficulty hearing each other this was due to a full restaurant and the keyboard player was also a little on the loud side. The food was nice but I couldnt say it was good value.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. Simple food done really well. Excellent service. There was even live piano playing for our visit. The charity aspect only adds to the place. I love it and can't wait to go back already!

My son and I had breakfast here; the food is great when it arrives! Don't go too hungry as we were a while waiting for our food And it wasn't packed. The staff are efficient but perhaps not the most pleasant. However, the food was worth the wait , I had vegetarian breakfast and I would order gain for the potato cake alone!
