Went here for a family meal a few weeks ago. The atmosphere is just like a pub pretty much but its lively enough. Most of us did the three course menu that was only 20euro each. I had a salad to start which was alright but ended up eating my brothers chicken wings and they were great. I got the steak sandwich for mains which was kind of overcooked. They also do a special bottle of wine for twelve euro so it is great value for money!

I hadn't been here for years but as my sister was working her last flight today we decided to meet her at the airport and go for lunch. From the moment we walked through the door we were all made feel special. Service was warm, friendly and smiling throughout. I had homemade scampi for mains whilst my sister and dad chose a burger mam opting for bacon and cabbage. For desert I had biscuit cake whilst my mother chose apple pie. Overall the food was excellent and very decent in portion size. This eatery offers excellent value for money for the high quality of food provided. The atmosphere was very good indeed. I booked a table in advance and was given a lovely table beside the fire. I would suggest you book as the place was packed. I would highly recommend Kealys and I will return again.

Visited here as part of the Dine in Dublin week.Had a 4 course meal for 15 Euro which was excellent value. There were 5 starters, 5 main courses and 3 desserts plus tea or coffee. A nice touch was the inclusion of a biscuit with our coffee. When we ordered the soup, we asked for it to be served really hot as we like it piping hot but we had to ask for it to be heated up. We also asked for the curry to be heated up. The waitress was very pleasant and obliging about this. We enquired about having half rice and half chips with the curry, as I had seen this on another review but there was an extra charge of 1 Euro as it was the Dine in Dublin menu!!! The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The desserts were so tasty. Service was excellent- very quick and efficient and the staff we met were very friendly. Will return to Kealys and would recommend it.

This is where we save our pennies to go for a special lunchtime treat during work, the girls and i torment ourselves between the curry half and half/ homemade burgers and the caeser salad. The atmosphere is buzzing during the lunchtime rush and it is hard to get a group table, best to book ahead, the staff are great, always keen to make you feel welcome. Service is super quick also...kealy's always a treat.

Have really enjoyed both trips here. Lovely cosy, atmosphere. The lunch menu is excellent value too. And even though I got the impression it's frequented mostly by couples and groups, I was there with my Sister and her 2-year old boy and they were very obliging and brought out some toddler-friendly food.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. it's such a little gem and perfect for any special occasion. The decor and surroundings are lovely, really different. Service is first rate, you really feel taken care of. I came here last Friday and had such a lovely evening. all the added extras really contributed to the evening. Wine was lovely and well priced. i ordered beef stroganoff for mains which was really good. Can be pricey but I feel it's still value for money. Definatly somewhere I would reccomend to anyone I met and I would visit again and again.

I had a Club Sandwhich with colleagues, and found it to be very tasty. It seemed a little expensive for sandwhich and the bacon was quite fatty btu apart from that it was nice. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. The interior itself is very comfortable, clean and warm. It's definetly not airport food!

Brought my little sister here this evening for a bite to eat. Had been YEARS since I'd eaten there and was very pleased. The staff were lovely, checked on us plenty of times. I had a burger and chips which came with a lovely pepper sauce, sister had roast beef. Really enjoyed the food, sister said hers was lovely too. Reasonable enough, came to €23 for the 2 dinners and 2 orange MiWadi's.

My husband and I visited Bank Holiday Monday. My husband enjoyed the burger and chips. Bit expensive for burger and chips but he liked it. I had roast beef dinner which tasted nice but I reckon beef was from day before. It tasted fine but had couple of hard bits that made me think it wasnt fresh that day. Kealys food used to be great but hadnt visited for a meal in a long time and I dont think I will rush back as a result of the roast beef. I probably should have said something but I didnt.

Visited for lunch on Thursday last, and this is a first class establishment. Bacon and cabbage was the preferred choice, and it was excellent. The staff work very well together, and are pleasant and courteous. nothing is to much trouble. This pub is well worth a visit, great service and value, keep up the good work

Myself, my Mother and my Sister ate in Kealys on Saturday evening. The staff are very efficient and welcoming. We all had soup to start. I had the chicken Madras with Rice and chips, Mam had the Bacon and Cabbage and my Sister had the steak sandwich. The food is very competitively priced and great value for money. The portions are quite large so we had no room for desert! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I have been many times and will return again and again. I would definitely recommend Kealys for great value pub grub in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. There is a large car park so there is always sufficient parking available.

My feeling about this place was quite complex. The food was good and the service was also amazing. However, it didn't seems like a place for an intimate dinner, perhaps a good place for nights out with a group of friends. There were 3 of us surrounded by big group tables due to which it was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak at that night. All wasn't bad though. I loved the idea of Sunday & Bank Holiday Menu menu, ordering small portions of different things was perfect for us.

I have eaten here numerous times and the food never disappoints! This visit I had the Mexican Chicken Wrap with Chips which was very tasty and filling. The bar had a nice buzz with a relaxed athmosphere. The service was quick and fast. Well worth a visit.

Kealys is a place that always seems to be busy. Its a nice place to go on a Sunday afternoon for a bit of food and a drink or 2 while watching football. The staff are always friendly and efficient. Almost always have to wait to be seated but thats not too much bother considering there is a bar and you are never waiting for any more than 10 minutes. The steak sandwich is really good as is the pepper sauce.

Went for Sunday Lunch here yesterday. Food was very nice, but a little over-priced for a Sunday lunch. My husband had the roast beef which looked as soft and tender as cotton wool, nice! I was disappointed to find that the chicken in the Caesar Salad was not marinated like it said, rather it was slices of roast chicken heated in the microwave which made it a little dry. The Ceasar dressing made up for this, however there was a little too much of this present. Crotons were a bit to charagrilled for my liking. I think I'll be going for the Sunday roast next time.

This is an ideal spot for a meal before or after a trip to Dublin airport. On a Friday lunchtime it was busy but not packed. The service was efficient and polite. I had the special which was cod & chips. It was delicious. It tasted hot & freshly cooked. The fish was battered but the batter was light and crisp and not grease soaked. If it wasn't home made, it was a superior frozen product. My partner had chicken goujons and a portion of wedges. The goujons actually tasted like chicken. Be warned though - the portion of wedges is easily enough for two people. They also do the best cup of tea here. A pot with two tea bags for one person - how tea should be. The toilets were spotless too. As pubs go, Kealys is not the cheapest place to eat but the quality of the food is worth that little bit extra.

We went in kealy's of cloughran on friday (halloween) for dinner (myself, my wife and the 2 daughters), on our way back from holiday and i have to compliment the food and the service we received. I had the pasta which was really tasty, my wife had a homemade burger with pepper sauce that she said it was absolutelly delicious and really fresh. The kids enjoyed their meals as well, they left empty plates, even if the've have had a serious amount of treats on the plane. Nevertheless the service was at the same standard, very friendly, efficient and polite. It was an absolute great experience, good value for money, we do reccomend the place to everyone.

Well I would usually go to Kealys with my Boyfriend for a treat but this time I really did regret it. We went down hungry as wolves. As Starters I had the Nachos and my partner the Soup of the Day, my Nachos can will some "cheeselike" wobbly sauce which just tasted like awfull and my boyfriends was nice but the waitress seem to be more interested in the guests (seemed to be friends of her) than him asking for some butter for his bread. For the Maincourse I had the Chicken Valentino and my partner the Rib Eye Roast (which he usually loves), well the Chicken was dry, the ham was nearly like cardboard and the cheese was a sponge. My boyfriends Roast was dry, his potatoes and veg seemed to be heated up in a microwave and the so called house made gravy was orange and i really dont want to know how this happened. So I am not too sure that I will be back here for some time.

When we arrived they were very busy and there didn’t seem to anywhere to sit, but a member of staff carrying a food order said I’ll be back in a minute I’ll get a table for you and she did. The service was fast and friendly, the food tasty and freshly prepared. Décor fresh and clean I’ll be back

Just popped in by chance after collecting friends from the Airport, Sunday lunch time, car park full (good sign) 6 of us in total, lucky to get seated by the window. The service was excellent, the food even better, my first and defiantly not my last visit to Kealys of Cloghran

I'm a regular customer at Kealys mainly because the food is always tasty, quick and value for money. I've brought so many friends and members for my family there over the years and they in turn have done the same. The staff are very friendly and worse case when really busy will get you seated withing 15/20 mins (only ever happened twice in all the time I'm going there). Really and truly worth a visit if you have not yet been and you'll definitely be back for more. Steak Baguette is so tasty and a big portion for what you are paying :)

ah good aul Kealy's of Cloghran, I come here all the time and love it. Kealy's have a great team of staff, passionate about customer service, they ensure you're 100% happy and if there is any problems (which there never is) they'll sort it out in seconds. The food is lovely. I get the chicken and mushroom vol au vent for starter and the kealy's house burger for main course. If you're looking for quick no hassle food that's tasty, well priced and served with wonderful customer service try Kealys

Myself and work colleagues went here for lunch. It seems to be quite popular as it was really full. I had a club sandwich which was only OK, nothing special really and I have had much better club sandwiches in other places. Having said that the service was quite good and really friendly. This seems to be the nicest and best place around for lunch time food. I would go back and try something else on the menu next time.

I am a regular customer to Kealys and would go there every other Sunday for dinner. It has a really relaxed atmosphere and the staff are so nice and will have a chat with you. The supreme of chicken is gorgeous and I have also tried the pasta special which is always lovely. The portion sizes are just right too. I prefer downstairs to the upstairs section as there are more people and it has a livelier atmosphere. But all in all the food is great and reasonably priced. The only negative thing I would say that sometimes if it’s busy on a Sunday sometimes I'd have to wait a few mins on a table- but sure you can always sit at the bar and have a drink while waiting :)

Kealys one of the best kept secrets in Dublin. The food is lovely and the portion sizes are big. The staff are very friendly and will get you anything you like once they have it in stock. The only down side is the lack of vegetarian options. Stir fried noodles with oyster sauce is not in my eyes vegetarian as it is made with fish sauce. Anna one of the Dublin waitresses is lovely, very friendly and will great you with a smile and chat to you for a while. I love this place - however upstairs on a Sunday can be a bit busy with families who travel out here with all their children. Would highly recommend if your looking for good honest priced Dublin grub. The family would love if they would add lasagne to their menu. Their soup is lovely and is a healthy portion size.

Always head for Kealys before we go on the away footie trips, nice place with great food, whether it’s been breakfast, lunch or an evening meal I've never been disappointed, and that goes for the other ten or so that I travel with. Will be there again on 7th Sept before we jet off to Slovakia.

Have eaten here many times on a Sunday - can get really packed. Food is lovely - particularly the steak and pepper sauce. Has a great atmosphere and staff are really friendly - can be a tad expensive for a Sunday lunch when you can go to many other nice restaurants serving carvery nearby, but well worth the money.

Often pop in here for a dinner on my dinner break from work. Always have the burger & never disappointed. Very tasty & big which is important. A little annoying that they jack up the prices on the weekend.

Excellent pub grub beside the airport. Menu is extensive and very reasonable. Food ranges from Paninis to pasta and Steak. Portions are big, staff friendly. I have eaten in here numerous times and have never had a bad meal, decor lovely and busy atmosphere.
