Crack Bird, Temple Bar

Crackbird has opened in its new home on Dame st. The location is bigger, brighter and bang on a busy street, but the beloved menu based around fabulous fried chicken and sides is not much changed. There’s a few new dishes to try, and a new lunch and late night selection.

The first time I came here I thought it was the best thing ever!!! Although the staff are always do busy they keep forgetting sauces or filling our water glass. The second time I been here after being mesmerized the first time, I thought it was a bit disappointing. The music was so loud I had to converse with my friend by shouting. The staff being forgetful again. The third time I came here with a friend who's never been after I've recommended it but I take my words back. The noodles we ordered were so greasy and the chickens were cold. After our food we waited for our bill which no staff seem to notice after clearing our tables. It is an ok place for something different but variety is very very limited. Won't be hurrying back here.

I went here with a friend to check it out and have to say was disappointed. The service was average to good. They were pleasant and efficient but definitely not attentive. We shared our food and had the soy chicken which was nice but basically flavoured fried chicken. We also had the spinach, cabbage and pomegranate salad which again was nice but could in no way be described as a main course. The noodles were very oily, the croquettes were bog standard. The lemonades were ridiculously sweet. The buzz was fun but the food and drinks were definitely not impressive. I would describe it as a fun fast food restaurant not somewhere to go for good food and not a chance if you're a vegetarian. I won't be going back.
