I have heard a lot of good things about this place, finally went for dinner on a Saturday. The place was very nice. Had the goat cheese as starter which was very nice and well presented. Had the halibut (with some chicken pieces in it) for main, nicely cooked but my partner said the chicken was nicer than the halibut itself. The salmon was not as good as expected, very red in the middle (personally I prefer it well done). The service was also good.

Three of us had lunch here yesterday. It reminds me of the winding stair...same type of decor, but with pigs! We had a very friendly waiter which is always good. The food was excellent..clean plates all round. We had the egg and black pudding and it was delicious. Then 2 pork belly and one lemon chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were just right. The desserts and accompanying dessert wine finished the meal nicely. Nothing bad to say...

i visited here with a group. It was early in the week and was packed. I had crab & beetroot starter, it was lovely. alot of the people at my table had the same. This followed by the hallibut which was cooked perfectly and delicious. Few people had duck and said it was really nice also. I didn't have dessert but my friends had the cheesecake which was served in a lovely quirky jar and said it was lovely. Lemon rice pudding also got the thumbs up. Overall the food was really really good and the quirky delph and presentations really added to it. I certainly would come back!
