Had lunch here as a special treat. Bar downstairs in the Westin Hotel. Small lunch menu but all key things on it. Had the goats cheese quiche vegetarian option. Friend had the Risotto. Food was very good quality well presented well seasoned. Service was the only issue. As a lunch option it took a while for the food to arrive as we ordered at 12:45. Also there was an offer of a €1 for tea/coffee if you had desert but the bill had full price on it. So check your bill!!! Great spot for drink or coffee during the day. Would go there again.

Nice lunch here. I had the club sandwich with fries & it was heaven! Such a treat to have every now and again. The service on this visit was good, and quick enough - which is important when you've only got an hour for lunch!

The Mint Bar is fabulous for lunch and in a great location. We were lucky to get a table for two as it was very busy at lunchtime. The food was excellent and the service was great. The menu is delicious and I would definitely recommend the risotto! The blueberry cheesecake is also amazing!

The Mint Bar is lovely - it's so nice because it's in the center of town but not overcrowded or too noisy. It's in the downstairs part of the Westin and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The food is wonderful and fairly priced as well for such a nice hotel. The atmosphere is casual (upstairs at The Exchange or Atrium Lounge it's a little more formal). We come here a lot just to get drinks even. They do a great chicken caesar salad and a nice fish and chips.

I have been going to the Mint Bar for lunch for many years. It is a great place for work groups to get together and the food is always good. The only complaint that we ever have is the delay in getting our orders if we havent pre-booked a space. All is all, I would recommend it for casual meetings or catching up with friends in a convenient central location.

Bar food is on par with bar food elsewhere in the city. The service was very good. The cocktails are also very good as is the location.

The Westin is a real jewel of a hotel on this side of the city. I have had drinks and coffee in the Atrium Lounge on many occasions but decided to drop into the Mint Bar today with hubby for lunch. The atmosphere is lovely and you can feel nicely cocoonned from the busy street outside. I had bruschetta which was delicious and garlicky and my husband had the vegetable spring rolls. He loved the spring rolls and I had a taste of same and concurred. A great little spot for lunch or drinks.

The Mint Bar is one of my favourite spots in Dublin to go for lunch or a casual evening meal. It is set on the lower ground floor of the Westin hotel (which in itself is just fab) with big comfy seats and a warm, cosy atmosphere. The staff are great and the food is always good (the burger, red curry and steak are my favourites). The cocktails are delicious too! You can't go wrong with this place, a reliable favourite.

A very unusual find in this part of the cirty, set in the lovely Westin Hotel. I have had drinks and platters in the bar, the food is delicious as are the cocktails and the atmosphere is very nice. Its worth popping upstairs to see the other bar that is set at a level wherein the hotel rooms are overlooking it. Its more sedate but lovely for an afternoon coffee and catch up with friends.

My friends brought me here as a celebration for my enagement. We had some of the summer berry sparkles and they were yummy cant wait to go back for anpther one. The platter was really good aswell and thought it was a good price for the amount of food and the selection. The staff were really friendly they gave me a cake with congratulations written on the plate in chocolate and also gave me the top of the bottle of sparkles with a coin in it to bring me luck which i thought was a lovely touch. we definatly be returning again.

I came here for an overpriced lunch. The staff and service are very attentive but a little over-the-top for a bar. The food was nice but again, too expensive for what you get.

Had an early dinner here with some colleagues. It was quiet which was ideal. I had the Thai red curry which was fine, but nothing special. Both my colleagues had steak and thought it was excellent. The coffee after the meal was served in nice fine china, an unusual touch for a bar, but probably due to its location in the Westin hotel. Will visit again sometime.

the food here is very tasty. i really enjoy the battered fish goujons with mushy peas and chips, sounds like something you'd order as pub grub, but its fantastic and the presentation is excellant. Washed down by one of the best cocktails in Dublin, I really enjoy this place on a busy Friday afternoon after a hard weeks work.

We held a function here, with a reserved area, finger food and a bar tab. The platters were expensive, but very nice. Good staff, and nice cocktails. Wouldn't hold a party there again though as the reserved area was tiny and they didn't make much effort to keep it private for our group...

I find the food here is nice although it is overpriced for what you get. The range of menu items is also limited. The staff and service is good.

Service was fine. Food was not very inspiring with my new potatoes having no butter to moisten them and my friends chips looking like something from McDonalds (I remember the burgers being much more impressive before).

I will not be going back to Mint Bar - have given it a couple of chances, but the service is absolutely useless. Consistently left waiting for staff to appear - at one point they left the entire room and bar deserted for 20 mins - had to go up to reception for them to find the staff. Plus the food is overpriced - had the chowder, served in a tiny bowl and incredibly rubbery. Plenty of other nice bars and restaurants to go to.

A great place for drinks and quick meal - good quality simple food and loads of options for light bites. A generally lively atmposphere but also privacy in the archways if that's what you prefer.

A great venue with a great atmosphere. Small groups and larger groups can co-exist, due to the layout of the place. Essentially pub-grub, but with a little hint of class. Also, the cocktails in here are worth every euro! You really get what you pay for, none of this glorified fruit-juice stuff that gets passed off as cocktails in many, many other Dublin night spots. The Mint is a great place to go early, get some good seats, eat some nice pub-grub snacks, and enjoy some of the best cocktails Dublin has to offer.

Great bar food here - it's essentially just pub grub so if you want something fancy go to their restaurant instead but the food is delicious, and the service excellent.

I have eaten here on several occasions. This is really a bar with dining tables. 2 very large TV screens dominate. However the atmosphere is generally good and the seating arrangements are very comfortable and well spaced out. Service varies. They have a couple of different menus depending on time of the day. The food here is very good value. I am not sure if it comes from the same kitchen as the main restaurant but it is significantly cheaper. Drinks are expensive. It is not the place for a long lingering dinner but great for fish cakes/Thai curry etc with a glass of beer or wine on the way somewhere else. Ample newspapers provided ...for those not interested in the TV. (Or their companion)
