First time to visit this restaurant! We chose the Mezze which is a wonderful selection of their starters and one main dish. We were entertained by a traditional Belly Dancer, We will definitely return

I absolutely love this restaurant! I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and they brought out a birthday dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday which was so nice! The food and service is always amazing in this restaurant. We got the Beirut Mezze and we got the house red - both of which were lovely!!! We will definitely be back again.

I love this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and remember you face. I love the Mezze dishes. The decor is amazing and authentic. The owner told me it was all specially imported for the restaurant. The same staff have been here for years and years, so it shows the owners must be good bosses. If ya go in on a Saturday night you might see the belly dancer. The music is brilliant. Keep up the good food and service

Food fantastic, service very efficient, staff lovely. Was delighted to see the same head waiters were there (and I remembered them) from my last delicious dinner at the Cedar Tree about ten years ago.

Had lunch @The Cedar Tree and I will definitely return again. Food was lovely, service great and it was busy but not jammed. A great mix of tourists and locals. Staff are friendly and efficient. Try the Lebanese coffee if you like a strong espresso type coffee with cardamon! Its amazing!

Visited this restaurant on the 17th April with 14 other members of my staff. This use to be one of my favourites (the last time I visited was 3 years ago), it use to always serve great food with super service. Unfortunately on this visit the food was Cold, Not freshly made, dry and very tasteless. Service was very poor waiter couldn't remember who ordered what and when he was clearing the table he asked the guest to passed the plates to him... we were than given a very high service charge ... will not visit again ....

This place is a complete rip off. My wife and I went there for dinner a few days ago. After we were coldly led to a table by a Lebanese lady, we looked over the menu, which looked pretty normal, like any regular menu you find in restaurants, but little did we know that it was a trap (you will find out why later on, keep reading). We ordered one of their Mezzes, which consists of a selection of small plates of Middle Eastern food. The price as shown on the menu next to that selection is about 25 Euros as I remember. The food, in fact, was pretty ordinary, and some of the food in the small plates had clearly been reheated and not freshly cooked, we thought the amount and quality were actually bad for 25 Euros. However, after we finished eating, I went to the cashier to pay the bill, which turned out to be more than 50 Euros! Two of the restaurants staff cynically explained to me that the price 25 Euros was actually for one person, and since my wife and I were two, we have to pay 25 Euros each! What I found most shocking is that he went on to tell me that a lot of people fell prey to their menu, thinking it is 25 but not knowing that the price is actually per person! Even when I ordered that meal, the waiter who served my table did not let me know that this price is for each person and not for two, as if they were doing this as a trap to get more money from their customers. Some friends of mine told me that they had had the same experience, but not only that, the staff of the restaurant seem to try to rip off the customers who appear to be poor in English or math and do not really know how things work here in restaurants or do not really care about their money. I am surprised that this place is still running in Dublin and no one has complained about that restaurant being a scam. After that experience, I will never return there, and I will also try my best to tell all my friends not to go there. I hope that place will be inspected for what is done to people and gets closed down.
