Went here with a friend on a recommendation and was really happy. We used an voucher from O2 Priority moments – two for one on mains. The service was brilliant – the staff were really helpful, knew their dishes/wines and made good recommendations. The food was amazing. We shared a starter of olives, which was a really generous size – plenty for two people. For mains we both had warm goats cheese salad which was so tasty! The food presentation was really good, they use slate and wooden boards instead of just plates which keeps in with the rustic theme of the restaurant. We each had a glass of wine and with the voucher our meal came to only €30 – very reasonable. Overall I really enjoyed this restaurant and I haven’t a bad thing to say, I will definitely go back!

Booked this restaurant for a birthday meal. My initial impression of the restaurant wasn't great as it was very quiet, never a good sign. They didn't have our table ready either but the waiter did get it ready for us in a matter of minutes. The waiter was very accomodating and had a great sense of humour, service was very attentive. The food was very good also, I had chicken stirfry, very tasty and large portion. Didn't enjoy the brownie i ordered but the other deserts were lovely, especially the vanilla cheescake. the waiter brought out the dessert with candles even though not specifically requested and also brought over a sambuca shot on the house after the meal, overall was very happy with the meal for the price, would eat here again

I went here with a voucher for 2 Main Courses for the price of one. The waiter took my word for it straight away and said he did not need to see the voucher - so they must be used to that! We got starters too, I got chicken wings and my boyfriend had meat balls with garlic bread. His was delicious but my wings were a bit bland (they were supposed to be Cajun). I had carbonara next and he had Pasta Italiana - both were amazing. All in all, it was very pleasant and would go again.

Went here last friday with a group of friends. Nice atmosphere when we walked in ....nice and buzzy !! Waited ages to order a drink, had to grab a waitress as she was walking by to order drinks. I mean we should really have been offered a drink as soon as we sat down. Took a good while to get our order in too. There was one waiter who was particulary good and he seemed to be doing all the hard work. Food was nice was and tasty, very comforting. I had the Suppli Rice balls which were yum and then I had the Porcini Ravioli with a mushroom sauce this again was realy tasty and very filling .... I couldn't finish it. My only really negative was the olives that were served were not great and they served pesto which was lovely with them but also ..... sweet chilli sauce, what's that about ??? All in all we had a good night, it's cheap & cheerful and a perfect place for a catch up with friends !! Just needs a little work on the service but it would not put me off going back ..... maybe they were just having an off night !!

Had a lovely evening here with a friend. Waiters are very attentive and helpful and really add to the very relaxed atmostphere. We were seated by the front window which had a nice view, however was very chilly so had to keep the jackets on. Food was delicious, had the Pacino's Pizza and my friend got the burger, we both very much enjoyed our meals! Got two desserts to share, however the two choices we wanted were not available. Went for the icecream and the creme brulee, fantastic icecream but creme brulee was nothing special. Lovely spot for good quality, homely food, will definitely be returning!

Our first time here. Group of 4. Noticed quickly the restaurant was more laid back cafe than a fancy restaurant we were expecting. Food overall was lovely. For starter, 2 of us shared the chicken wings which were tasty and accompanied by blue cheese dip and the other two had a italian meats platter which was truely italian. It contained a few cold meats including parma ham, a selection of cheeses, stuffed olives, artichokes and some crispy italian bread and olive oil. Was gorgeous but could have done with some more bread. For main, we got two of the 12" pizzas to share between us, the pacino pizza & the jalapeno pizza. Both were lovely. We found once we had a starter the 12" was perfect for sharing. All the dishes were reasonably priced. The downfalls for our visit were 2 things. The toilets were downstairs at the end of an eery corridor. There was mould growing under the sink !! Also, the wine glasses we received were manky. Had to ask for new ones but these ones were also streaky and greasy looking. Overall nice, if it wasn't for the nice italian food , I wouldn't return.

Just had very nice lunch in Pacinos. Service was very prompt and staff courteous. We had 2 paninis which were tasty and filling. One side of chilli hand cut fries and a coffee for €20. 40 minutes and very relaxing.

Booked a table for 11 on Christmas Eve and when we arrived the place was buzzing. We were seated upstairs at the back and it was really hot. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other and it took three requests before they turned it down. The food was really average and lukewarm. Unripe tomatoes and no flavour to anything. Won't be hurrying back but think our bad experience might be because they were so busy. Will maybe try it another day when I'm passing. :(

Myself and my husband ate here on the 25/11/11 for the first time, and we will definiatly be back. I had the garlic prawns to start and then the char-grilled chicken, both were gorgeous. My husband had the garlic mushrooms followed by the seafood Paella, which were gorgeous aswell. The staff were helpfull and friendly and the atmosphere was cosy with candles lit everywhere (however this did make it a bit difficult for me to read my menu). As far as value for money goes, you can't beat this place either.

Service was excellent and friendly. The food was also good and staff could not be more helpful. Would recommend to eat here and price was very reasonable. Will be back at some stage

First timer and will most definitely be back. From the moment my partner and I walked in, the staff was attentuvy and friendly at the same time and they were very obliging all thru the dinner. We only had a main course each. My partner went for the Michelangelo pizza which was full of flavour and big enough for the 2 of us! and I just went for traditional lasagne (fabulous!) and mixed salad to share. Food was full of flavour and appetising. The bill came to around €35, please note I had a cocktail and he had a bottle of beer, so it was great value for money. We will be back shortly (hopefully this weekend) and looking forward to it!! will try to be more adventurous next time!

I ate here with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago. We hadn't made a reservation so when we arrived we were told the only table left was a rocky table just inside the door. My boyfriend was very hungry so we took it. We both ordered starters and main courses. The food was awful. The grapes were unwashed, had dirt on them. The pasta was dry and flavourless. The tiny chunk of bread that accompanied it was pointless. Everything seemed really cheap and thrown together. We had tickets to a film and asked for the bill in plenty of time but we were 20 minutes waiting for the wait staff to produce a credit card machine (had to ask 3 times) and we ended up having to rush to the theatre. The bill came to just under €50 which in my opinion is hilarious considering the quality of the food and service. Will not be back.

Great place for lunch. The garlic bread can be a bit greasy and small. I'm also not a fan of shoestring (McDonald's type) chips. The staff are very friendly, food is promptly served which is great for a quick lunch. Sandwiches are great( I usually get the jalapeno and cheese sandwich) and very filling. last time I was here i think they do sandiwich, drink and chips for a 10er. Very good value for lunch.

Was here today for lunch, really disappointed!! I ordered pasta carbonara that came with garlic bread - the smallest piece of garlic bread I have ever seen, I needed a magnifying glass to see it. I said it to the waitress but she didnt really say anything, i think they would have been better off not sending the garlic bread with it as it was just so scabby. Overall the pasta was very bland, not real flavour and the bacon was not real pancetta, tasted like rubber. Will NOT return

Ate her with my boyfriend early in the afternoon. We had mains, wine and coffee. We both had meatballs - the meat tasted fresh and was juicy without being too greasy. The sauce was good. The portion size was decent. My quibble with this place was the waiter kept coming over to us for a chat during our meal. Also when we were settling our bill, of 46euro which I thought was steep for what we ate, he blatently asked us for a tip. That made me uncomfortable so I won't be returning.

We had dinner a group of 6, the atmosphere and was perfect and was spacious. We tried different courses, pork, lamb, pasta; and everything was delicious. Something I didn't like is that I ordered garlic bread and carbonara and they didn't tell me that they came with garlic bread, so I ended up eating a lot of bread!. Also, because we ordered that starter, we weren't served our main courses until 1 hour after we arrived, that was long time to wait and we were starving. Staff was very nice and friendly.

4 of us had dinner here on a Sat night. It's a great place to meet up for an informal meal and few drinks in the centre of the city. We had the a-la-carte, we missed the early bird, but it's not a pricey menu. We had the buffalo wings to share for starters - these were gorgeous. Really meaty and not greasy at all. For mains, we all had something different - lasagne, pizza, chicken and meatballs. All quite large portions, the lasagne and chicken came with chips. All the plates were cleared, no complaints from our table. Will be back again when meeting mates in town.

Well folks, I luckily had a 2 for 1 menupage voucher for here last night because only one of the main courses was worth the money! I've been a few times in the past and always had pasta, which is fine, nothing amazing, but it is reasonably tasty. Last night I had the Jalapeno Pizza which was good, plenty of toppings and a thin crispy base, no complaints there. Alas my other half went for the 10oz sirloin steak..... medium... what she got was not a 10oz steak (it was only about 1cm thick which is terrible) and it was well done, I tried to persuade her to send it back.... but we didn't. The price was over €25 for this. One of the worst steaks I've ever seen in a restaurant. The staff were generally very friendly, but one waitress did take away one plate before the other was finished, which is bad manners! Anyway guys, the rest of the restaurant is fine, the music was good, not too loud and there is a good buzz, (it was busy for a Tuesday night). Stick to the pasta/pizza and you'll be okay. As I said, just well the pizza was free...... My value mark is based on the prices without the voucher. P.s. they do not appear to have embraced the VAT reduction - shame on Pacino's

As I seen on a previous review we got the rocky table at the back too!! We got the chickens wings for 2 to start & they were very good, excellent flavour! The GF had the lasagne which was adequate but small & she likes a big portion! I got the burger which was dry & tasteless. As it was Sunday afternoon there was a band on downstairs & the place really got busy as we were leaving. We were on one of these deals so it was relatively ok value but If I had to pay full price I wouldn't be rushing back, but I might just pop in for the wings!

Visited this popular casual restaurant in Suffolk Street on a wet July evening in Dublin. Had the Italian Beef Burger as main course and my girlfriend had the Carbonara which she said was very nice and looked good. The burger was basic enough though not very tasty with an undressed side salad and skinny chips not fully cooked and half cold. Service very friendly though throughout. Desserts mediocre as well, we ordered one cheese cake and one strawberries and cream Beware if you have the O2 Treats 2 for 1 code as we did that you need to mention this at the start as it doesn’t apply to all main course choices. Not sure if I’d rush back as there are a lot of restaurants in this space in the city centre and food was basic enough.

This place is a fantastic hidden gem! I've walked past it what must be hundreds of times and never realised what a gorgeous restaurant it is inside. Lovely atmosphere - great buzz to the place, but not too busy, and a lovely rustic feel to the decor. The menu is excellent and the coeliac/ vegetarian options are great, and it was fantastic to see their emphasis on using free range eggs. Our pizza and salad were delicious. The service was very good - very prompt and friendly, but unobtrusive. Excellent value as I used an o2 treats promotion, and they seem to have a wide range of other deals. I can't wait to go back!

This place is a hidden gem. We went for dinner here tonight and the food was to die for. Absolutely lovely. Also the staff are really nice and couldn't do more for you. For example after dinner we were so stuffed we couldn't eat dessert but when our waiter asked would we like anything else or just chill we knew we were in the right place. Will be back here again, went for the special of the day and it was yummy can't wait for the next visit (which will hopefully be next week). If you like Italian food and good atmosphere and pretty decent prices then you won't go wrong in Pacinos.

3 words; Best, Restaurant, Ever. Had dinner here with a friend this evening, we were greeted by very friendly staff, who were genuinely nice as opposed to just being falsely nice cause they're supposed to. Inside was spotless, a very open restaurant, we sat by the window, our waitress was happy to tell us about the specials. I had wings to start, my friend had the garlic bread. Generous portion sizes & very very tasty, both arrived very quickly. We both had pizza & sharded fries, I had the Michaelangelo, one the nicest pizzas I've tasted, the goats cheese was a nice touch. 2 starters, 2 mains & fries for €43! I will definitely be back. If you're looking for somewhere to have a casual bite or have dinner with someone special this is the place, it has it all.

went for lunch here on Thursday. As it was only 12.30 the place was very quiet,We were welcomed by a very cheerful and friendly waitress who soon had us seated .We both went for catch of the day which was ray wings. The fish was fresh and beautifully cooked as was veg and chips which accompanied it.We finished with two large cups of excellent coffee. The service was first class and with a bill for 24euro was great value. We look forward to returning to Pacinos!

2 of us went on Saturday evening at 6:00. Place was busy enough but the service was very good We got the garlic muchrooms and mixed bruscetta for starters. Both were excellent. For mains, we got the blue cheese and pear salad (very dry missing a dressing) and pasta aribiata (very good and large portion). For dessert we got the chocolate and biscuit cake and the Baileys Cheesecake. All good. Bill was 70 euro which included 2 beers 2 wines. Very good value.

I was here over the bank holiday week with a party of five people. We all felt that the menu had so many tasty options that we couldnt chose. We tried the catch of the day, the pizza, pasta and chicken dishes and all were lovely. Personally I had the pizza which had a lovely small crispy base. We also sampled some desserts bannoffi pie and biscuit cake which were lovely. The dessert cocktails also went down a treat. Overall a great place to get a bite to eat and good value for money.

What a disapointment, we were in the mood for pizza, and I never ever had a worst pizza in my life, the base was like a carbo box, the peperoni was awful, so was the cheese... I could not eat it. We order a salad to start, that was nice, but the only thing we ate, we could not wait to leave.

Being greeted by the staff with a "you want eat? speak english?" and a mime of someone eating didnt exactly start things off on the right foot. The restaurant, thought not full, was chaos. We had to steal cutlery and condiments from neighbouring tables to eat, waited 50 minutes for our mains to arrive (apparently a mix-up in the kitchen). My steak sandwich, with friend onions and pepper sauce, came without onions or pepper sauce. It was another 15 minutes before they arrived. My 3 companions were equally disappointed with their meals, which went largely uneaten. The only saving grace was the waitress who was extremely apologetic and gave us a free round of drinks for the problems. She described the kitchen as Fawlty Towers. She still got her tip in the end for handling it well, but wont be back.

Response:
Dear reviewer, Have just read your review, and was very disappointed to see it. I was your waitress on the day you ate in our restaurant. Regarding the lack of communication when you arrived it was due to the fact that there was two tourists who had no English that were standing in front of you waiting to be seated. So apologies once again. With regard to the food, it was an error on our part that it wasn’t to our normal standard or what is advertised on our menu. This was an oversight on the part of the kitchen. It was getting very busy by the time you were ordering and a lot of orders came in at once. It was for this reason that I gave you a round of drinks on the house, and when leaving gave you our loyalty card for future purchases in the hope that you all would re-visit again. Kind regards, Fiona

We ate here as we had a deal voucher but I have to say I will definatly go back. As it was a wednesday nite we were surprised how busy it was but it didn't effect the service at all. I had the prawns to start while my partner had the meatballs both lovely dishes especially the meatballs. I then had the pacino chicken this was fab best chicken dish I had in a long time cooked perfectly and the way it came was so good my partner was very jealous. My partner had the a pizza which he really enjoyed. We shared a dessert as we were so full after all the food. The bill was just over €70 this included a bottle of wine which we both thought was very good as we only had to put 30 to our voucher, we will dfinately be going back I can see why it was so busy

Went here for the first time in December and have become a bit of a regular visitor. Have love the food everytime i've been here, no matter what time of day you go you can be guaranteed to have a lovely meal. The service is also good and the waiters do seem to make an effort at all times to look after all customers, even if this is diffficult at busy times. But i will continue to go here, it's a safe bet if you're looking for a nice italian in the heart of the city center.

Great food, great location, great prices - especially with the now-permanent 15% for TCD students. Unfortunately, awful, awful service. Maybe it was just the day I went, but we had poor service from THREE different staff members - inaccurate bill, wrong change, rudeness, and unprofessionalism with a manager giving out to a waiter in front of the whole restaurant. Unfortunately, despite the lovely food, it'll be a while before i go back to Pacino's after my last experience.

Very dissapointed. Food was very bland. Service not great ordered 3 things from menu and after ordering the waitress then told us it wasnt available instead of telling us when she gave us the menus what wasnt available. Had heard good things about this place but left very dissapointed

Ate in Pacinos last Sunday and wasn't very impressed. We hadn't got a reservation but got a table no problem. There were only two of us so we were sat at a small table along the left hand side. It was a very tight squeeze, my chair and my partners chair were both tight against the tables behind us. It was quite uncomfortable. For starters we shared nachos and bruschetta, and for mains we had pizza and chicken. The food was average, I wouldn't be rushing back. Service was a little slow also. The bill wasn't to bad @ €53 euro though.

went there for Dinner with my girlfriend. lovely place. would highly recommend everyone. Restaurant was full on Tuesday evening. Staff very friendly and helpful. We ordered starter first to share, Italian Nachos, which was the best nachos we have ever had. for the mains we asked our waiter to recommend. I wanted a pasta, she wanted Pizza. We were advised to go for pasta Carbonara with chicken (at 1.50 extra) and Michelangelo Pizza. Mains also came very quick and both Pizza and pasta were amazing and i mean it. Well done Pacinos, I was really impressed with this restaurant, normally we aren't easy to please, especially my girlfriend but Dining here was very good experience. Really good wines, top class food. top class service. great atmosphere with a nice back music. I already miss my carbonara with chicken, so will be back again for sure, and as tuesday night was kind of busy i would recommend to book the table in advance, especially if you are on weekend dinner

We came in for a casual dinner with 4 persons, in the middle of a week. As for Tuesday, it was completely packed, and I didn’t think of booking a table upfront (Tuesday night, right?). Initially when we came in, we were supposed to have a walk on the Grafton and wait some 10-15 minutes for a call back when table is ready (didn’t mind, really), but before my number was down on the paper – one table was ready to take. It was busy, so we didn’t mind late service and we were in no hurry anyways. Started with drinks (there was no non-alcoholic cocktails) and ordered starters for sharing. Plate of Italian meats and cheese was out, and it took them some time to announce it, so we had to change the orders for starter. We shared bruschetta (4 different types) and Italian nachos. Both great, nachos were lovely and mild, with good portion of cheese, great to go with a pint of beer. For main we had Michelangelo pizza (very good, ristorante type of pizza, lovely), Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina (very poor and dull), char-grilled filet of Salmon (lovely, generous portion of sides), and Caesar’s salad (this can’t go wrong, and was alright). As in some other review here mentioned – they have some mix of great dishes combined with some mediocre. It was a good evening, because we got table upstairs, we avoided all the rush and it was very good time spent. Service was great and very kind. All in all, I was there before, but this visit didn’t convince me either way. I may come back, but I won’t be rushing in.

I decided to revisit Pacino's (reluctantly) after a very mediocre experience at a staff dinner almost 2 years ago. I had been very disappointed on this original occasion by the service and the quality of the food. However, as the menu was enticing and the value commendable I decided to throw caution to the wind and give the place a second chance. I arrived at the restaurant at approximately 7.30pm on a Wednesday evening with 4 friends. Despite the fact that we had not booked ahead, we were seated promptly. The service was from the beginning of the night to the end, very scattered. One of the waiters did not appear to have any knowledge of the menu or the special offers available and when asked to check something, disappeared without returning, prompting me to have to ask again. The starters arrived promptly and were enjoyed by all, particularly the nachos, which we all agreed were amazing. However a huge gap between the starters and mains was disappointing and the lack of apology/explanation for this frustrating. The mains got mixed reactions, some delicious, others very mediocre. The cocktail menu was extensive but we were informed, upon trying to order some, that many of the ingredients were out of stock. This also applied to many of the desserts. Overall Pacino's is a lovely restaurant in an excellent location but it lacks efficient staff and management. So much potential.

Brought a friend here for lunch for her birthday and we weren't disappointed. We got a nice welcome when we arrived and a very helpful waiter. We both had prawns starters which were good and we shared the Jalapeno pizza. It was tasty, had a thin base and was perfect for lunch. We asked for a light fruity white wine and were offered a tasting of the house Pinot Grigio which was delicious. Again at only 12% alcohol, it was perfect for lunch. The place has nice character and the atmosphere was good, plus the chef is Italian so I will definitely go back and ask for an Italian speciality!

Visited Pacinos last night for the third time in as many months. This place is becoming a firm favourite. Great selection of Starters from Soups and Brushettas to Olives....We opted to share the Italian Plate and Buffalo wings and once again we not disappointed. A large board with three different types of cheese, 2 cold meats almond stuffed olives and bread was just perfect and a lovely order of wings with blue cheese dip was really tasty. My friend went for the pasta al salmone (first choice of clams were unavailable) and I had the Chicken and Avacodo Salad. Both dishes were delicious and the Pacinos Own Vingarette was a lovely touch. All washed down with a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio the bill came to €61. Very reasonable for a city cebtre restaurant with great service. We'll be returning!

I've never written a bad review for anything before but feel compelled to by the bad experience I had with Pacino's. We came in out of the snow hoping to have a nice dinner. Straight away the service was awful. After waiting for ages We had to find a server to give us some menus and then again to take our order. We weren't expecting anything too fancy but the food was terrible. The almond stuffed best olives were straight out of a jar of the cheapest olives you can get and not at all fresh. The hand cut chips were obviously not at all fresh or hand-cut. Perhaps these are minor details but the food was not as described on the menu. Our mains weren't much better. Our mains were what seemed to be a cheap frozen pizza and salad with very poor ingredients. We had to go and find a server once again to ask for our bill and then again for a fourth time to give back the card machine. There are a lot of positive reviews for this restaurant and I wish I could share those opinions. But I will never return to Pacino's and will discourage others from visiting also.

Visited early on a sunday evening. We were seated promptly and the waiter was friendly - and trying to be funny making lots of jokes. We both ordered a large salad - which were massive and tasty. And shared a portion of the handcut fries, which were very good. The garlic mayonaisse at 1.80 for a very tiny portion was a bit steap though. We also had the creme brulee, which was too cold, but the banoffee pie was amazing.

At here with a friend the other night and really enjoyed it. I hadn't been here in over ten years. The service was excellent and was provided by an extremely pleasant young woman. A couple of other servers came to the table at various times and they were equally as nice. Any special requests were met without any fuss whatsoever. Being a cold evening my companion chose a hot port for starters. I chose a chicken soup which I really enjoyed. It came served with a hot slice of brown bread a very nice touch indeed. For mains I chose a spaghetti and meatballs dish which I enjoyed. My companion had a sirloin steak which she really enjoyed. For desert I had a biscuit cake which was served hot with chocolate sauce and ice cream. I loved this. My mate had a coffee. The atmosphere was very good with nice music playing in the background. The restaurant filled up quite quickly whilst we were there. I would definitely return here to this most centrally located eatery. Thank you menu pages for providing me with a voucher for a free main course.

Myself and a friend were passing the restaurant one Friday evening and decided to venture in, not having heard of the place before but enticed by the smell. It turned out to be a sound choice. We both had the chicken dish from a €20 special menu. It was delicious as was the cheesecake desert. The cheesecake I ordered was not what arrived, but as it looked lovely and because I would have chosen it had it been on the menu I said nothing and enjoyed it. When the waitress came to take away the plates she realised from the garnish that was left that she had given me the wrong cheescake. I explained that it was cool but she insisted on bringing me another glass of wine to apologise. Lovely touch, can't wait to go back.

As we were passing Pacino's and fancied some food we decided to give it a go, having heard people say nice things. We had no reservations on a relatively busy night but the staff were friendly and accomadated us (and were pleasant throught the meal). The atmosphere was also nice, with people in the Christmas spirit and having a good time. The evening seemed to be going great ... until the food arrived. I can honestly say that it was the worst food I've ever had in a restaurant in dublin. The 'olives stuffed with almonds' to start were in fact olives stuffed with pimento straight from the jar (complete with a pool of brine at the bottom of the bowl). For my main I ordered the jalapeno pizza which was not at all spicy, the chorizo tasted like cheap sausage and the whole thing could only be described as 'soggy'. My partner had the Italian nachos to start which were bland at best and the pasta italiana which was not best, and by far the best thing of the evening. Pacinos has potential to be a very nice restaurant, shame about the awful food.

Went here for lunch with a friend as i had seen a 2 for 1 advert on another site. Turned out that offer was take away only but we decided to dine anyway. For a lunch menu, it wasnt really great value. It was all generally ok but we probably wont be back too soon. I had the spicy wrap which i liked and my friend had lasagne which she thought was grand. Everything was just so so, but i have some friends who really like it there! Maybe ill try dinner there sometime!

Place is fantasic, food great, Service really good and friendly staff. Starter to share, 2 mains and 2 desserts and a bottle of wine for 63euro. The only downfall was the atmosphere but the pizza's are a must. Would definetly go back. Jeanseb dublin.

Came with the bf on a quiet Sunday afternoon for a quick bite to eat. Place was quiet but had a really good vibe - love the decor and hence the ambience, hats off to the proprietor. We used our O2 treat voucher, I had Pasta Italiana and the bf had Margherita (O2 Treat only on pasta and pizza). No complaints with the food, certainly makes a change from the run-of-the-mill Italian. Service was brisk, but not pushy and waitress was helpful. All in all was a great experience - will definitely come back.

This resturant was recomended by a friend who had booked a meal for a Sat night and was so pleasently surprised with the entire evening. We were greeted by the most friendly guy who showed us to our table and gave us rundown of what to expect for the night The waitress then arrived and took our orders and was so friendly we felt like we knew her (not joking) Food was fab especially the stir fried chicken (amazing) whidh most of us had. When the meal was over tables and chairs were pushed aside and the Salsa night began. Fantastic, is all I can say, Has to be experienced. My only complaint was we had the front window seat and it was cold (the first night of the snow). They do provide tartan blankets though and despite this we had the best night , The staff were amazing, The entire staff came to the table singing Happy Birthday to may friend with the cake, A night to remember for sure.

Having really enjoyed my previous experience here I decided to use my menu points on the buy one pizza get one free offer. To start we shared a house bruschetta which while smaller than the last time was tastier because like the menu said it contained pesto this time (last time it did not). For mains I again had the Michaelangleo pizza minus the meat but with added jalapenos. My friend had a chicken pizza which I was informed was very tasty. Staff are really friendly and helpful which really is one of the high points for me with this place. I cant fault them at all. Would return.

We are mostly vegetarian and were finding it a bit difficult in Dublin to get any menu variety at all. We were very pleased to come across Pacinos, which had a number of good veggie choices. We wandered in on a busy night with no reservation, but they found us a table upstairs and were very very friendly and helpful. Can't even remember the name of what I ordered, but it was simple, plentiful and delicious.

This was a first visit and was for an nearly dinner. We were seated straight away. A very nice menu with some unusual options including sword fish. I had the Italian Plate- If you are thinking of truying it bring a big appetite. Great selection of salamis, cheese, bruchetta, some olives, rocket and artichoke. Perfectly delicious. Main courses of pasta and swordfish equally good. Good choice of desserts including a kind of Eton Mess with rasberries and ice cream. V Good! Atmosphere is relaxed and staff are good humoured and welcoming. Fellow diners included a family with two nicely behaved children, some young ladies en route to a party and several shoppers. Its that kind of place, cheery, welcoming and good food. Nice little area outside with two tables. Three course a la carte choice for two people with a bottle of house white( a good choice) was €82. Not that cheap but food, atmosphere, service justifies it. Well worth a vist.

Myself and hubby dined here on a Thursday night. We had a discount voucher and had booked. The place was quite full but we were seated immediately. We each had the soup and the steak which was good and very tasty. I had a choclate dessert and hubby had the icecream, both desserts were excellent. I had the house red wine which was good. The service was very friendly and efficient and i would certainly dine here again

What to say about this fantastic restaurent. Went for a birthday dinner with 7 other girls and had one of the best nights ever. We booked for 7o'clock and stayed till closing. We had our dinner and tried to dance salsa for the rest of the night. The food was delicious, for starts I had the chicken wings and for main I had the chicken stir-fry. You got just enough on your place and I finished every bit of my food. The staff where so helpful and every pleasant to deal with. The bill was very reasonable and in my opinion, worth every penny. Will so be going back here, for a dancing night out rather than dinner but will be going back for food to. If you haven't been here yet, you would have to get and experience the atmosphere. When the dinner was finished the salsa started, so amazing, I can't praise this place enough.

Freezing cold on Saturday, we arrived here at just after 4pm for a late lunch. We got sat, and were then ignored for more than 10 minutes by the staff, and in the end I had to ask for a menu. The waitress was clearly very busy, and eventually we got the menus. Food here was grand, when we eventually got it. We were waiting more than 40 minutes for our mains, when I eventually got the attention of a waitress, we were told that our mains were given to another table. Shocking service here, we were frankly quite afraid to ask for anything, as they were quite rude. I understood that they were under pressure, however there was no need to make your diners feel unwelcome and an annoyance. My experience yesterday really has made me appreciate good service a lot more. We will not be back & would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Shocking shocking service.

Cheap and cheerful. I have been a few times now for lunch from work. they have a blackboard outside with a special - usually about 8.95/ 9.95 the staff are very friendly and quick to notice if you need anything extra. Would reccomend for more daytime eating than evening. Though i do remember staying very very late in the downstairs wine bar area a long time ago!

I went to Pacinos for the first time the other evening with a friend after work. We just had a main course each and we shared a bottle of wine. It is a very nice restaurant with friendly staff. I had the ravioli which was really lovely. My friend had the lasagne with garlic bread. She said this was nice but the edges of the lasagne and much of the garlic bread were clearly burnt so she was unable to eat it all. The wine was a pino grigio which was priced very nicely at 21.95 for the bottle. The staff were lovely but during our meal we were asked to move to a different table as they wanted to use our table for a larger party. They were very polite about it but having to move all of our stuff was not great. I would go back to Pacinos as the food I had was lovely and there is alot more on the menu that I would like to try.

Visited here last Friday with a group of friends who were visiting Dublin for the weekend. Chose Pacinos as I have eaten there before on many occasions and always enjoyed the good range of tasty food, good service and appreciated the value for money. However, I was very let down. The menu has changed recently and according to the waitress the chef has changed also. We ordered a variety of starters among the five of us. I opted for the house bruschetta. The hummus has been replaced by smoked salmon as one of the toppings and the portion sizes have decreased immensely. The others were somewhat satisfied with their choices. After a wait of 50 minutes, during which the waitress apologised for the delay and gave us a bottle of wine as a goodwill token, our main courses were served. Excellent waitress, attempting to pacify the problem before it arose. I opted for Pacino's chicken-tasty enough but a little on the small and cold side! My friend's chicken stir-fry looked and tasted awful, the gnocchi dish was only alright and you can't go wrong with a pizza! Dessert is overly priced for a rather tasteless chocolate biscuit cake and banoffi. It is very disappointing to write this review as I would have always been a very big fan of Pacino's and would have eaten there with groups of friends and family very often. I think they need to rewind to the success that they were, identify the good food that made them so and to start serving it again! One point I would like to stress however is that the friendly manner of the floor staff remains unchanged which is a huge asset to the restaurant!

A friend and I went here after work because it looked nice and the early bird offer looked good. The service was fast and friendly and there was a decent crowd in for a Wednesday night. My friend when for the set early bird and I just had a pizza. We decided to share the starter and dessert. Buffalo wings were the starter and while they looked good, they were more slimy that sticky and there was little or no flavour from them. The dip on the side which said blue cheese dip tasted only of mayo, making the whole thing disgusting. My pizza was only fine as was my friend’s lasagne. We then shared the biscuit cake for dessert, which was another major disappointment. It came out looking like a mess with some chocolate sauce and raisons thrown on for good measure, we didn’t even finish it. It is such a pity because this is a nice looking restaurant and the staff were very good, but the food was a total let down. I won’t be back!

Full 3 course dinner including 2 beer & 2 glasses of wine What a night! Dinner booked for a thursday night be prepared to move and see staff clearing up for the theatre show. Despite this ruining the atmosphere a little the dinner was magnificent. I had the chicken with mushroom sauce for the main (garlic bread starter), My husband had the lasagne (meetball starter) followed by apple pie and choclate cake deserts..... Was supremely stuffed. Service was slow as was really busy night which was expected. Price was roughly 75€ in total. They have a great early bird and will be back for that.

I went here with a friend and we had the voucher from city deals. We were looking forward to try something new but were disappointed. Our starters were below average, the steaks were burned and desert was the bit which was the least bad. The place looks nice but the food needs improvement. To be fair the pizzas looked nice and I did regret that I didn’t order that.

Was here on Saturday night after not being in in a while. Wouldn't agree with the other reviewer. Found the food to be excellent anf the service too. Always good. I suppose with restaurants it hard to get it right all the time, however I would say Pacino's is better than most. Nice to see that they have updated there menus with some great Italian classics. Tried the Carpaccio which was lovely and worth the hefty price of €12. for main tried the steak which was cooked perfect. Had no room for dessert, manged a dessert cocktail. Funky Monkey. Lovely chocolate type milkshake with bailey and kahlua. Lovely!! Will def be back soon as their is always something new and exciting going on here..

Pre-booked here for a party of 6 for the early bird and the table was not ready when we arrived, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Had to request the early bird menu, as it was not offered to us. After ordering the starters arrived with the wine.....which clearly indicates a microwave on standby. The bruschetta arrived minus the hummus & chorizo sausage. The buffalo wings were alright. The chicken was flavourless and the mash potato was very bland. The swordfish was grilled to within an inch of it's life. Desserts were nice - if you like a plate of chocolate sauce. Don't be fooled by the exterior, the food is well below par.

Had a quick dinner here with a friend and based on what other reviewers have been saying I was surprised at how comically bad the service was. We had to ask a number of times for the special offer menus (which were not offered, we had just heard about them on Menupages). Our waiter, while friendly, droppped things, swore and was generally befuddled. The food was only alright, recession menu was good value and the information for vegetarians, nut allergy sufferers and coeliacs was good. Wouldn't avoid it but wouldn't be rushing back.

Been here for lunch on numerous occasions and every time we go something on our order is wrong. Whether it be forgetting an extra portion of fries or having to ask twice or 3 times for a drink which was already ordered. Or getting up myself to get the black-pepper/parmesan. This happens even when its not too busy & staff are not run off their feet. Service brings the place down in general and is a shame because the location is perfect. Food is average but what could be expected for the price. They used to have pizza/pasta dish and soft drink for €9.95 but this deal was then removed. There are plenty of other places around that do better deals at lunch and service is far superior.

an old fave of mine - always guaranteed a warm welcome here - the staff are so friendly and nice - like what the reviewer below said. have probably tasted nearly everything on the menu at this stage but gotta love the pizza - can't go wrong with pizza - always yum! great location too being city centre - very handy for when taking a break from walking around the shops with my girlfriends.

Went here with my hubbie and kids armed with our menupages vouchers. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and I thought there was a great feeling of comraderie between the staff themselves. Three of us orderd pizzas and one ordered pasta. The waitress also offered us the option of kids menu pizza for the kids, even though one of them would be over 12. I thought this was nice. The food was delicious and the ambiance and decor really nice. There was a large window open to the front, where ice cream was dispensed and it gave the place a lovely airy feeling. Only fly in the ointment was when we went to pay the bill, we were using 2 menupages vouchers (as previously agreed) and this was queried. However, when I told them that we had been given permission to use two, they hononoured same. I think it would have been fairly pricy without the vouchers. lovely staff, lovely food, lovely place but prices need to come down.

We took advantage of the Saturday Night Salsa Deal. The restaurant wasn't busy, but that was probably due to the early hour we visited. Food and service was excellent. Would recommend and make a return visit.

Went here recently for evening meal as had 2 for one main courses voucher.I had the Mr Brocolli pizza and my companion had the Vegetarian pizza. Both were quite good and but nothing special. The atmosphere was fine but they werent busy on a Tues eve.The service let them down badly. One of the waitresses visibly ate tomatoes with her fingers from a tub in the kitchen after dealing with customers and money.Did not leave her a tip. Will not be returning.

I went for lunch to meet with a client. I was greeted with a firm handshake and shown to my table. I explained I was expecting company and was assured my client would be shown to my table, 5 minutes later he arrived, safely delivered. We ordered our lunch, both Ciabata's which were delivered within 10 minutes and we're fabulous. We were offered wine with our lunch but declined! Although I did notice a very nice Portocolo on the wine list which was very tempting. The staff were highly efficient and professional, the atmosphere was very comfortable and seating was spacious and comfortable. We could've easily stayed all afternoon and enjoyed that bottle of Portocolo... I will be returning with my other half for an evening meal very soon. Highly recommended, we finished off with a very nice Italian coffee.

Was here Sat night as a group booking & was brought to a table upstairs. On the €40 salsa menu. Super price; Glass of wine, three courses & a dance lesson! Rated the atmos well as we made our own fun. Not offered the glass of wine so I did not mention it to the waitress & ordered bottles instead. Food was poor at best. Warm bread with pesto on one, hummus on another & peppers on a third. Not bruschetta My, admittedly very large main course swordfish was over-cooked to the point of super dry. Dessert of banoffi pie was tasty. Service was alright. Hard in fairness for wait staff to interact with a larger table. Being asked to order & again to pay the bill - at 11pm (because I was told 'we want to close') let them down. Dance class was great fun & the instructors were super. Will go back & try it again as I'm sure this was not the norm for Pacinos as they have a long standing in Dublin - longer than most!

First of all, the service that I received here recently at lucnhtime was great. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, offering her opinion on differant dishes. The layout is nice in that you can stay up front of for larger groups head down the back to a differant area. I thought that the food was nice, but only ok, good value though and decent size. A nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of town.

I've been coming to Pacino's since 2005, well before the revamp done a few years back having discovered it during my college years! The food has been consistently good, always filling and satisfying and well priced! The service cannot be complained about, as the bf and I were well attended on and yet left alone enough to enjoy our meal. I had the Pasta Carbonara, while the bf had the Toasted Cajun Chicken Ciabatta with chips. The pasta was cooked well, still had a bite, while the sauce was creamy, but not too heavy- a nice balance really! The only thing I could fault was the garlic bread, that was a little hard. The bf's chicken was soft and juicy and not over cooked the way some places do it - ie. cooked dry. The chips were not amazing, but for a mainly Italian restaurant, what can you expect!! He was delighted with the portion size, which is saying something! Over all, I enjoyed my experience! Pacino's is hearthy and filling food that delivers!

This used to be my favourite restaurant in Dublin - a little gem on Suffolk St. Unfortunately things have changed drastically. I couldn't believe my eyes when I visited recently to see that they have increased the prices on the menu by at least 10%. The prices on their website are cheaper than on the menu (surely that can't be allowed?) and the recession menu that was €10 is now €12.95. I know it's still cheap but I feel manipulated because of the price hikes. The food is still good - we very much enjoyed our wings/meatball starters and steak/pasta mains, but we just can't justify returning to a restaurant that raises prices in this kind of climate.

I ate here on a Sunday eve with himself. We both love Italian food and had never been here before.I originally came in because I saw the "Recession Busting Menu"(RBM) for €10 online, this website in fact....however this is no longer available and it is now €12.95...As I was going to the cinema and had little time..I decided just to get a couple of starters instead and to be honest the RBM was very limited and in fact uninspiring I opted for the Polpetine...meatballs in tomato sauce and cheese and the buffalo wings.Meat balls were ok but the sauce lacked any flavour ..where was the basil and salt/pepper??the buffalo wings were scrawny and the acommpanying "blue cheese" sauce seemed to be mayonnaise-hardly if any blue cheese. Service was good but a little slow as there were only a handful of diners here.Wouldn't come here again.

Went here to avail of the Recession buster menu, which was 12.95 for a 2 course meal. The menu for this price is quite limited with only 5 dishes on offer. I had pasta which was nice and my partner the pizza. I guess for the price, it is good value. In the end we got dessert, apple pie was amazing! The waiter was very friendly and professional and the atmosphere very romantic.

Have been here a couple of times and food and service have always been on top but lately it seems as if the place has totally gone downhill. Pizzas were always great and tasty and actually a favourite of mine in Dublin but on my last experience in Pacinos it was a nightmare. Staff were all of the place and it didn't look as if there was any manager on duty to take charge, service was slow and food was average.

We went here for a Christmas Breakfast for our department in work. There was 8 of us but there was no one else in the restaurant which was nice. However, the service was still quite slow considering the lack of numbers. However, the food is quite delicious and despite a few hitches with the orders, once everyone had received their food they did enjoy it. I had the Eggs Benedict, which were great (although it is hard to get good Eggs Benny outside the US!) Fairly good value for money. Not sure I would go back for breakfast but would try it again for dinner!

Popped in to the Pacinos for a bite after Sunday drinks in the city centre (by the way the place was recommended to us by a near-by pub staff). While the service on the arrival and the deals in the menu looked very promising - the food was very disappointing... Everything tasted like just re-heated in a microwave. Even my beloved garlic mushrooms... My boyfriend asked for extra mushrooms on his pizza - they were not cooked, just heated. Chicken strips in my pasta were very dry and hard (as it would be after the microwave treatment).... we will not be coming back...

i have been to pacinos many times and i have yet to be disapointed. there is always a real buzz to the place, especially on weekends. whether i was there for lunch or dinner the consistency and quality of both food and service was fantastic. it is a very good place to go for a lunch break for an hour as the service is prompt without the standard been comprimised. i generally always order the michalangelo which is one of the nicest pizzas iv ever had and for only €9 with a soft drink is great value. i have also tried the carbonara and the pasta italiana which were also very tasty and i would recomend. i was also quite surprised to see that on saturday nights at the end of service the tables and chairs are removed and the place turns into a salsa club. iv heard its been goin on for months and the word must have obviously spread cause when i was there it was packed! now i see on friday nights the "shakedown" is on with live acts. i already have plans to go there with a few friends this friday. prob sure to be a good night. keep up the good work

Ate lunch here just before Christmas with a few friends. Had a lovely experience. Food was delish, even though they were extremely busy, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was tasty and cooked to perfection. Plus the value for money was unreal, I expected to pay at least double of what we did pay. Will definitely be returning. Will probably try an evening meal and then head down to the stylish yet comfortable wine bar.

I've been to Pacinos many times in the past and have always been happy, they do a great lunch deal for around €8 and the pasta is always excellent. There's always a great atomphere in there and the staff are great. I love their full breakfast on the weekend, the perfect hangover cure!

Went here for dinner after Christmas and wasn't blown away. The pizza was only alright and the pasta the same. There was a good crowd in there, but they'll need to do better if they're to compete with the Italian food available elsewhere. Wouldn't return in a hurry.

Had lunch here with two friends the Saturday before Christmas, a busy day in town, but the restaurant was not that busy. We were seated straightaway and gave our order. We all had soup of the day which was tomato and was very bland, tasted of nothing. For mains I had pasta bolognese which was all pasta and very lttle bolognese and what there was of it wasn't very tasty either. The two pals both had different pizzas which they said were good. The service was terrible. No one came to take away the dishes when we had finished the mains, we were not asked if we wanted desserts/coffee, had to call a waiter and asked twice for coffee before it came. Same story when asking for the bill, had to ask twice. Having said that the staff were very friendly and apologetic. Won't be going back though. They need to up their game both with the quality of food and service. This is a very competetive market nowadays and punters will go elsewhere if they feel they are not getting value for money.

Was here for a breakfast with colleagues. Was not blown away and there are many better places to get breakfast in Dublin. The waitress we had was extremely friendly, but service was still a bit slow and uneven and there was only one other table in the restaurant. Think that the breakfast menu is a recent addition.

Ate here last Friday night. There was 10 of us in total and we were sitting upstairs. The food was good was quite reasonably priced but the major problem was the service, or lack of it! After 2 and a half hours we had the dessert menu but had not ordered any desserts. We decided to end the night there as If we had ordered dessert we probably would have been another hour! The problem quite simply is that they did not have enough staff and therefore the service was incredibly slow. I guess that they are trying to make some money at Chrsitmas by not employing staff but the otherside is that with quicker service they could have sold us desserts and been able to resit the table later that evening. Unfortunately this experience means that none of us will return. Also it was incredibly noisy upsatirs and you had to shout to make yourself heard.

Myself & my boyfriend popped in here for a quick dinner after work on a wednesday night at 6.30pm. There wasn't that many in the restaurant when we arrived but it filled up in the hour or so that we were there. We went for the recession menu (great value at 11euro for 2 courses) - he got the soup & I had the salad to start. My salad was ok, nice enough - supposed to have buffalo mozzerella in it but only had a few slivers - I didn't mind this as Im on a pre xmas diet! His soup was very creamy, nice and hot for a cold evening. For mains I got the veggie tomato pasta & he got the creamy chicken pasta. Both were very nice, large portions which we were very full after. My tomato sauce was very nice, very thick and not watery like some can be. We also got the 'recession special' wine for 18 euro. Our waitress was nice, she had no problem with us moving from a 2 people table to one of the larger 4 people more comfy bench tables when we went in first which was great. Overall 20 euro each for a nice meal and wine that filled us up. Would definitely return for a quick bite here, handy for shoppers since its just off the bottom of grafton st.

A very warm welcome to a quite busy restaurant on v cold Friday night. The staff in Pacinos are great, welcoming, informative and not intrusive. The food is really good, my friend said her pizza was the best she had in a long time. Pacinos is great value for money and the menu is very vaired. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 bottles of wine was about €80... we sat for a long time and not once felt rushed to leave. I'll definately be returning and recommend it to all.

we went here on a quiet monday night and were very impressed with the price of the early bird (€11 for 2 courses). However, the service was terrible! the restaurant was nearly empty but we still had to wait 15 minutes before our waiter came to our table. My chicken and mushroom pasta sauce consisted of a tin condensed muchroom soup with a few mushrooms and slivers of chicken thrown in. very disappointing! when we were given spoons for our dessert one of them was dirty (still had someone elses dessert left overs on it!!!) all in all, good value but won't be going back

This is a great place for a reasonably priced, tasty meal, I visited on saturday night, the atmosphere was buzzing, the food very tasty with an uncomplicated menu which would appeal to most people even those not a fan of Italian food. I was even more delighted to find that they clear the tables downstairs and offer salsa dancing lessons on a thursday and sat. A great place for a date or a girlie night out!

We decided to visit Pacino's after reading about it on this website. The atmosphere was very nice with candles everywhere and a nice layout to the place. The menus and design of the place had a slightly contrived, chain restaurant feel to them. It became clear that is not a place where you go for an authentic Italian meal, rather an inexpensive place where all the family might enjoy something. I didn't really like how we were sat near the kitchen and the door was open so I had to look into the kitchen from where I was sitting. It was very sterile and a bit unappetizing to have to stare in it the whole time. That wasn't really a big deal though, but it would have made a big difference to the mood of the restaurant. I had garlic bread with cheese to start, which was fine, underdone. My companion had meatballs - he thought they were quite nice but bland. For the main course we both had pizzas. The pepperoni on one of them looked like it was out of a can, very bad quality. The base on the pizzas was thin but quite doughly and undercooked, a bit like cardboard, I doubt there are many people who would say it was a good quality pizza. I ordered a Classica pizza which was supposed to have Basil, but it was just a Basil pesto, it was bad, I would expect a restaurant to give you fresh Basil. We didnt have dessert. Overall, it was edible and inexpensive, but I wouldn't go again or recommend it to anyone.

Have visited Pacino's on many times & have yet to be disappointed by either the food quality or service given. There is a beautiful mix of pizza’s & pasta dishes which myself and my buddies always go for. There was a super crowd in for Saturday night and I’m never surprised ,always a buzzing atmosphere. I usually head downstairs for a quick drink in cellar bar before retiring for evening but 30th birthday party had taken my seats.. I know where I’m having mind!!

Had lunch here with one other person. He ordered ciabatta which was fine. The fries with it though were not cooked fully. String fries very limp and hard in the middle. My pasta was really not nice. Chicken with mushroom. The sauce was congealed and the entire dish was cold in some places. The waitress who served us was really friendly. Coffee was fine but I wouldn't return.

This place is great! Such good value.. Went here on a Tuesday eve and it was busy enough, had the early bird - got the buffalo wings (huge portion) and yummy, swordfish - very tasty and fresh and the chocolate biscuit cake (huge portion) - its unusual to get chocolate biscuit cake warm but it's a great surprise.. My friend got a burger and she was very happy with it. Service was a bit patchy, our server left after she took our order to it took a while for our mains to come out and our sides were mixed up. Didn't take away from the food and i'll def come here again. :)

Had a nice dinner with my mam in Pacinos on a Thursday evening. Good early bird for 20 euro, starter, main and desert. We had garlic mushrooms, which came with a yummy garlic mayo for starters. For my main, I had the pasta Napolitana, which was ok, could have done with a bit more flavour. My mam had the Pollo A La Funghi, chicken fillet in creamy mushroom and mozzarella sauce, and she enjoyed it. Deserts were strawberry cheese cake, and chocolate biscuit cake. Both were gorgeous, really delicious. The waitress who served us was extremely friendly and efficient, and the food overall was really nice. I noticed they also have a lunch menu, and I'm planning to return to try this soon. The waitress was telling us that on Saturday nights they have Salsa dancing and music downstairs when the restaurant is closed. Will definately be back with the girls for that!!

I work near here and so went to lunch there yesterday. I was eating on my own. when I arrived I was offered several seats and choose one facing out onto the street. Within a minute I was handed a newspaper to read. Another minute later was handed the menu and some water. I opted for the pizza special (ham and pinapple) which was any stardard pizza, garlic bread and soft drink for €8.95. The garlic bread although very tasty was a tiny peice, not much to brag about. The pizza was served on a glass plate which was very nice, the base was tasty and the cheese still drippy. The ham topping was plentlyful and evenly spread but the pinnapple was in large but few chunks. I felt if the chunks were cut in half and spread over more of the pizza it would have been a better hit. Services was quick and very nice. Food overall very nice and price extreamly nice. Would I go back - yes Would I recommend - yes.

Have been here before, but think it has come under new management recently, as it has been done up and the staff have new uniforms etc. Was in town and was looking for an early bird. In here it was three courses for 20 Euro, which, for the quantity of food was good. Had the buffalo wings to start which were alright but not great. Lasange for a main which came with not enough chips which were slightly soggy. My girlfriend had a pizza, which was pretty standard. For dessert we shared a chocolate biscuit cake which came we cream and ice-cream. It was delicious, but came with raisins (not good!). Food was overall very good value. The service was absolutely terrible. There was only one server on the whole time we were in there (who was actually lovely and trying her very best) she was completely run off her feet tending to the whole restaurants at a busy lunch hour. When I asked her if she was on her own, she said that she was always on her own around this time I found this to be an unbelieveable and ridiculous siuation.

After reading a few positive reviews, my friend and I went here and were looking forward to a good value tasty meal. However were were very disappointed and wont be returning. The service was quite good and we were treated warmly. However the seating was uncomfortable (hard wooden benches) and the atmosphere was very strange, think it was alot to do with the lighting. We shared the buffalo wings as a starter which were advertised as spicy. I could not detect any kind of heat at all - a bit of a let down. They should be described differently, as they are ok but not what you expect. I ordered the arrabiata for main and have had this on many occasion - this too lacked spice and flavour. It also came with too much pasta which I find off putting. The bill came to about €50 including a glass of wine each which is good for the location it is in, however the food just wasnt upto scratch at all.

Ate here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and was happy enough with the service and the food, but I was throughly unimpressed when I ordered a diet coke with my meal and saw them pour it out of a screw top bottle. It was flat as a pancake and was warm. Won't be heading back.

I reluctantly said yes to having dinner here last night, I was here last year and didnt like it much. We were given a table near the back of the room, the chairs were so uncomfortable and the lighting was grim, I really didnt like the atmosphere in the place. The food just wasnt great either, service was fine, but I dont think I give the place another chance. My friend who is not fussy about food or surroundings agreed that this place needs to pull there socks up if they are to survive.

Firstly the only reason I choose this place is that we were looking for a Coeliac Friendly restaurant which Pacinos says it is....Its not! THis usually means Coeliac friendly pasta and more. Myself and 3 friends came in for dinner. we were greeted by a very friendly waiter and shown to our table. A very nice waitress came over with menus and we asked about being Coeliac friendly she politely told us she didn't know but would find out. She returned to tell us that they had 2 main courses that were actually coeliac friendly!! One of which she couldn't have one of the sauce. This started us off in a bad place Thankfully once we did order and got our drinks it picked up. Starters were all lovely, 2 steaks fab 1 pizza fab also and the Salmon was lovely too. Service was very good ,fast, and friendly. Lovely food wine and atmosphere would definetely return....but not looking for Coeliac Friendly food.

Have eaten here a few times for lunch now and the food is good. My particular favourite is the Alla Diablo with chicken. My only fault is the "portion" of garlic bread is quiet small. Apart from that service is friendly and prompt unless it's manic. Would recommend a try for lunch.

I hadn't been in "Pacinos" in well over a decade when we visited on Sunday evening for a bit of grub. The varied menu was a major pulling factor. I went for the Chicken Gratella and my better half opted for Tagliatelle Pomodoro. Both dishes arrived with 3 fillets of grilled chicken breast, a feast by any standard this side of the Atlantic. We ate in the raised section of the larger dining area towards the back. The atmosphere may have been improved on had the staff seated a large family with noisy kids in the smaller area near the street entrance, very irritating and detrimental to concentration when trying to dissect the menu! The food was excellent, huge portions, and the service was good. Staff were pleasant and courteous. The portions may actually need reducing, and prices could come down in line. Even growing young 'uns like ourselves don't need 3 chicken fillets in a meal to keep us going! I noted that just as we were leaving a group of oversized ducks from the far side of the water arrived, maybe Pacinos are pitching towards Americans rather than Europeans?

Visited Pacinos by chance with a group from work last week. Was the first time I'd been there in years and the first since the makeover, certainly struck me as a brighter restaurant. We were seated at the front window which was open, not exactly a great view but interesting all the same to catch snippets of conversation on the street. Restaurant was reasonably busy and apparently only 2 on service which meant it was slightly hectic. Had wings to share which very good. Had veggie beware pizza although the staff weren't sure what it was when they were deliverling to table. Rest of colleagues had mix of pasta and burgers and everyone seemed happy enough. Its slightly above the cheap and cheerful price range but is decent value but could do with slightly better service. Will try it again though

Went midweek with a group of friends, including 2 children. The staff didn't bat an eyelid when the kids started running around, and they made sure that we were seated away from the door and the stairs. Service was very good and friendly, but we had mixed views on the food and the value. My child's margherita pizza was great value at 4.95 for a very good 9" pizza, the adult's pizzas were also very good and quite rightly priced. However, the caprese salad consisted of little more than anemic tomatoes and bland mozzarella, which turned quite steep at 7.95. My garlic prawns salad had rather dry prawns and a few lettuce leaves with half cherry tomatoes is not exactly what I would describe as "mixed leaves". They must have thought that I was on a diet, for there was no dressing at all on the salad. And no bread to fill me up. Coffee was excellent, but the biscuit chocolate cake is in fact tiffin and is more suited to kids parties than restaurant menus. We will certainly come back again, but will stick to the pizzas

Probably the worst Italian meal I have had in Dublin. Started with the garlic mushrooms, which seemed more than a little like they were taken from a pack in the freezer. Fettuccine chicken with mushrooms for the main, which I can only describe as a gloopy mess. The "sauce" (I use inverted commas because it had the consistency of wallpaper paste mixed with raw egg) was bland and the chicken was tough and dry - probably reheated. I managed to eat about half the dish (but only after loading it with black pepper and chilli flakes to give it some flavour!) before I had to admit defeat. Service was ok, nothing spectacular - we were waiting quite a while for the bill. There was no atmosphere to speak of - the place was half-empty and the pop music being played in the background was more suited to a fast-food joint than an Italian restaurant. Absolutely no way I'd return to this place - I can't believe the number of good reviews it's received.

This is a nice little restaurant if you are wandering around town and fancy some lunch. The food is not spectacular but for the price it is certainly fine by a lot of standards. A nice place to meet up with a friend for a chat over a pizza and a glass of wine. Avoid the Lasagne which I found to be small in portion and rather bland.

I went with a group on Saturday night and we had a great time. We sat upstairs and everyone could hear each other so we could catch up. The portions of the food are pretty big - i made the mistake of having a starter and a main but i could have shared the starter but thats no bad complaint at all :-) The staff are all really nice and friendly.

It's been years since I last visited Pacinos and now I'm wondering why I left it so long. I went with a friend on a Friday evening and although it wasn't busy when we got there, it filled up nicely during the meal. The food was gorgeous, we opted for the house wine which was lovely and as for the deserts.... I'm normally not a desert person, but I couldn't say no. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning soon.

I visited Pacinos on a Monday evening before theatre so was in time for the Early Bird menu which we both opted for. The staff were superb, couldn't have been nicer. We had a couple of glasses of wine and 3 courses, one course tastier than the next, value for money was excellent and we were served promptly. Teh restaurant was not overly busy when we went in but proceeded to get quite busy indeed for a monday night. And I can see why!!!! Will definitely return.

Visited Pacinos on Friday the 13th. Restuarant was busy but not over crowded. Upon arrival we were shown to our table upstairs as some of the seeting downstairs can be uncomfortable. I could not fault the meal or the service, both of which were excellent and with wine, good value for money. However, just to point out that the upstairs toilet is unisex, something that surprised my guest and & I. Perhaps this should be looked at by the owner/management of the restaurant. Also more comfortable seating would not go amiss, otherwise a well run restaurant with excellent service and good value for money.

After reading the overall great reviews of Pacino's, I think I had very high expectations. I liked the decor, but our group was quite large, and they put us up on the top floor which was more cramped and away from the lively crowd on the main floor. We also went on the weekend of the Ireland/England rugby, so it might not be representative of an average night. Initially the service was very rude but they warmed up to us, as the crowd died down. The food quality was extremely variable between dishes, I definitely would not recommend the pizza which was undercooked (doughy crust) and they did not put enough sauce at all. The sauce was also flavourless, and the vegetables on top of the pizza were completely tasteless, as they had been simply steamed without any seasoning. My friends who ordered pasta were slightly more satisfied. I asked for a sweet white wine, was recommended the house wine and found it to be extremely dry! Overall, I might return on a quiet night and try a pasta dish, but I will not be rushing back.

The service was excellent, especially considering we were a boisterous burnch having been let out of the office. The food was lovely and arrived all at the same time. The staff ensured that we did very little craning of our neck for service and there was a very welcoming atmosphere with good music too. I will definilet go back soon.

Went here for lunch today and was very impressed. The atmosphere was lovely, buzzing but not intrusive. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I had the goats cheese salad which had a generous serving of cheese, a nice change from some tiny portions you get. My friends had a pasta dish and a sandwich with fries and both were very impressed! all and all a great dining experience, will deifnitely be returning soon!

This is a great restaurant. It's in a great location in the heart of town, the food is super, great value and the service is fast and friendly. I have no complaints about this place so I'm not surprised it's such a popular hotspot!

Myself and my girlfriend went here for Valentines Day and we had a great experience. Great staff, great food and a really nice atmosphere. They were using their a la carte menu which was refreshing given the majority of restaurants were trying to make hay while the sun shines with their 'special' set menus. Great restaurant, great Value, will definitely be back!

We went here on the back of some of the comments made on Menupages and also because it seemed like a good deal for an early bird. We were sorely disappointed. The restaurant itself was quite chilly. The early bird menu selection was poor and considering it's an Italian it was quite surprising that there was no pasta on offer. It also said that it was a three course menu but don't expect dessert...tea or coffee counted as the third course. As for the quality of the food it was rather limp and lacking flavour. The main dish was small and basic and there was evidently no love in the kitchen where it was prepared. Won't be going back and won't be recommending to anyone.

Dropped in here with a few mates last Saturday for a meal. Tasty food, simple and well priced. Staff was friendly and the little bar with music downstairs is a nice place to relax with a few drinks after a meal. If you're looking for a chilled out well priced bite to eat you wont go wrong with this place. Highly reccomended.

Had dinner here this evening early after a day in the shops. There were just a couple of tables taken, given it was only 5pm. Very cozy in there even though it was mostly empty. Waitress was very pleasant, giving advice on dishes. Had garlic bread and mushrooms to start, both were very tasty and arrived quickly. Mains followed promptly; carbonara was a bit light on bacon, Cajun chicken was tasty. Nothing exceptional about either and a side of gratin potatoes ordered never arrived - didn't bother following up as had plenty of food but was looking forward to them so a bit disappointing. The meal was fine, not overly impressed given the good reviews on here, but will probably give a try again.

The location and meal pricing makes this a very attractive little restaurant so close to Grafton St. There is a good range of popular Italian pasta & pizza dishes in and around the €10 mark, with starters all under a fiver. Desserts are reasonable too and they even had Christmas Pudding with custard & Cream. There's also a 4-course set dinner menu of non-Italian dishes for the bigger appetite at €39.95. So with wine only costing €20 to €25 which is a common price range, you'll finish off your days shopping with a well affordable treat here. Anyone on a budget in these recessional times will get value for money spent here, enjoy!

I went here before the theatre on evening and wasn't really that impressed at all! I ordered a a chicken and mango salad that came with tomatoes and honey and mustard dressing. I asked for sweetcorn or some other salad instaed of tomatoes but instaed i got extra mango and so got far too much mango. The honey and mustard salad dressing had obviously ran out and there was just plain boyne valley honey drenched over my salad-it was horribble! Not a good experience!

This was my third visit to Pacinos. Both pasta and pizza has been delicious, garlic bread on the side is a nice touch. This time I had the cajun chicken salad. Delicious.

I have been using Menu pages for a while now but have never posted a review. The food in Pacinos was so bad I just had to let people know. This is about the worst restaurant for food that I have ever been to in Dublin. I have trusted the menu reviews on menu pages for a while now and it has never steered me wrong until now. The staff were pleasant if not forgetful, bringing the food without the cutlery not too big a deal, it's cheep and cheerful so I am not expecting 5 star service. We had 5 dinners, I had pizza and it was worse than a frozen pizza, base was not freshly made, cheese was cheep and tasteless... actually I don't think it had any herbs or seasoning on it what so ever and the amount of toppings were minuscule and suggestion of pineapple and ham, my boyfriend got a suggestion of spinach, we had 3 friends with us who politely said nothing as I picked the restaurant, which I was very embarrassed that I had. If you like food at all don't cross the threshold!

Visited here with 2 friends about a week ago and we were all very impressed. I had the deep fried mushrooms for starters and the Chicken Bergamosa for a main and they were delicious. The starter was beautiful and simple and not too heavy at all. And the main course was amazing. Creamy delicious sauce, very generous grilled chicken breast and fettucine pasta with a piece of garlic bread. The plate was crammed with food so needless to say I couldnt finish it off! Couldnt even think about desert. The restaurant is perfect for a good meal after a long day shopping. The location is perfect and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Its also a very reasonably priced restaurant. We spent approximately 80 euro on dinner for 3 and a bottle of delicious wine. Very reasonable!! I'd definately recommend this restaurant and will be returning as soon as i can.

I eat lunch regularly at Pacinos, and I am always very satisfied with the food and service. There lunch special is great value. You get a main course / pizza, slice of garlic bread and a drink for less than €10. The portion sizes are huge so you definitely won’t go hungry and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere so you can just chill out on your lunch break. There sandwiches are also really tasty and come with chips so well worth it.

Really really didn't like this place. I had a small chicken salad to start and asked sauce or dressing on side in came swimming in oil and the chicken was very burnt for main had a bland pasta dish...dessert was nice but it's hard to go wrong with a cheesecake...not worth the money either.

Really like this spot for a quick bite or a more intimate dinner. The staff are fantastic and the food is well priced and nicely postioned. I also love the decor-very old-world, chic but cosy. Nip downstairs for some music and wine in the cellar bar-I've already booked it for Xmas party..

Five of us went here for dinner 2 weeks ago. After reading reviews here I was really looking forward to it and I definitely was not disappointed. The food here is lovely and very reasonably priced. I had the sea bass for my main course, it was very tasty. The starters and desserts were great too. Pacinos is well worth a visit.

visited on the 7th of November. Had a lovely night, the lady who looked after us was very good and extremely helpful. Food was excellent and very reasonable, it was our second time there and will definitely go again. We were a bit early so it wasn't too busy which made for the lack of atmosphere but that was our fault not theirs.

After spending a bit of time trying to find a place that would suit everyone, I settled on Pacino's. The result turned out well with everyone well happy with their dinner. The hit was the gourmet pizza's, the Michelangelo was excellent, even for those who usually go for the steak were well impressed. Some stuck with the Carne & Pollo choices and were well satisfied. The meatballs starters were excellent too! A few bottles of wine, espresso's to round it all off and at €35 a head including tip, it was well worth it.

I was recommended to try Pacino’s by a friend and who was very impressed and it really lived up to my expectations. The food was delicious, really large portions at very reasonable prices. It’s a great value for money restaurant. We shared a selection of starters which were all lovely. I had the Michelangelo pizza which was so tasty although I couldn’t finish it. Even though I was really stuffed I couldn’t resist ordering dessert. I was very glad I did as the Orange Crème Brulee was the best I’ve ever had! The food is great but the staff stands out by a mile as they are so professional and full of personality. The very charming manager recommended a delicious Pinot Grigio and it went down a treat. It’s very centrally located on Suffolk street so a great place to drop into for a bite to eat after a long day shopping. The live music on a Saturday night makes Pacino’s so much more than just a place to just eat. It was a truly lovely dining experience and before we left I even booked my birthday party. My only disappointment is that I hadn't tried Pacino’s sooner!

Dropped into Pacino's last Saturday evening after a girls day out shopping in Grafton Street. It was really busy, we had no booking but were acommodated by the manager anyway, who was very friendly.I have to say the food was fantastic (really well priced) washed down by a couple of bottles of very nice chilean wine..The staff were very friendly and attentive and even though busy they all seemed to be enjoying themselves which created a great atmosphere..As the manager brought us our bill she told us about the bar downstairs which had live music so we decided to check it out..(as you do!!) Well.. we didn't regret it.. Again.. great atmosphere, great music all in all a great Saturday night out.. We will be back!!!

I'm a big Italian junkie so I'm always expecting the highest standards & been based in Dublin, I've been let down too many times, however Pacino's on this visit, is so far the exception to the rule in my opinion. I must say I really enjoyed my stay with my boyfriend & two friends, the four of us ordered some ribs, Italian salad, prawns & some very tasty garlic bread..perfect, not too much, just right.. Main course went down even better, mix of pasta, pizza's & one incredible surf & turf, fillet steak, salmon & mixed veg.. Was full really but just couldn't resisted the desserts, I had the raspberry rumble, wow.. maybe Ive found my Italian heaven..fingers crossed.. we'll be back soon..

I've been to Pacino's twice in a space of a month. First time on a Wednesday just because I wanted to go out and met up with my girlfriend in town. It is very central on Suffolk street. The atmosphere is lovely and the restaurant is nicely laid out. Second time with my brother on a Saturday. Both times we took not the typical dishes and were very happy with what we got. It is good value for money. You can't expect world class cuisine for that price, just very nicely put together dishes that go down well with a nice bottle of wine. NOTE; check their early bird set menu, it is worth it.

Myself and my friend ate here last Saturday at lunchtime. This was my first time in here, have to say the ambiance was brilliant the staff very friendly and the food was magnificent. We both had pasta dishes and I was spoiled for choice. We got it served piping hot and very tasty indeed. I thought it was a bit pricey for lunchtime, my pasta dish costing E16. I would definitely return here again to eat but in the evening time.

Ate here last night with my boyfriend & we were both very impressed. There is a lot of choice on the menu but we both had pasta dishes, his was divine (pomodoro chicken i think!), mine (a pesto pasta) was kind of bland but I was in the mood for a tomato based dish so it was my own fault that I didn't enjoy it too much! there is a lovely atmosphere in there and the service was good. We will definitely return here, great value!

Pacino's is the place to come if you're looking for somewhere quiet and candlelit. The service is good and the food is excellent too. The pizza's are so big they will hardly fit on the plate! The cannelloni is also good, as are the chicken dishes. I always feel relaxed in this restaurant and not rushed in the slightest - great place!

I had a very pleasant experience when I visited this restaurant last Saturday evening. The attention we received from all the staff was excellent. They were so helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing. I chose a popular chicken dish with pasta in a delightful sauce. To drink I chose a glass of the house red which was very palatable. After the meal I went down to the tapas bar downstairs which had live music on the night. Here the atmosphere was also very inviting and enjoyable. Overall my experience at Pacino's was very pleasant, full of good food, friendly staff and a a great atmosphere.

New to menupages so i will put in the last restaurant i visited, which was saturday night in Pacino's. A friend recommended the place after having lunch there recently. I must say i was'nt disappointed, there was a great buzzing atmosphere as we walked in & were looked after swiftly by a pleasant girl, the restaurant was full and judging by the service & food i understand why. After we finished our meal,i had the fillet steak, super & my friend had the house chicken, tasty dish as he put it,the waitress told us we could have a free drink in the cellar bar. We ventured down & had a wonderful experience as there was live music and the atmosphere just got better.Great night, just dont understand previous comment, maybe they were looking for the cemetery!!!

We went here on a Saturday evening. Why I wasted my money I don't know. My excuse is I had a 2 beers in me and felt sure we'll try an Italian. The place looks good from the outside and the basement is very cool looking. But that's it. Staff are awful, rude and I didn't tip.

This place is truly appalling. The night did not get off to a good start when I asked for a bottle of wine from the wine list and was told that the first 3 reds and the first two whites on the list were out of stock. I.e. only the far more expensive bottles were available. I selected a red and was then brought a glass of it, when I had asked for a bottle. I finally got the bottle of red, half an hour after entering the premises. She then took our order. The starters were ok, some prawns in a sweet sauce and buffalo wings. The main courses came out abruptly and as the waitress plunked them down on the table she said “surf and turf” we looked at the identical plates and decided there must be a mistake, as we’d ordered one surf and turf with a bed of tagliatelle and one Pescatore tagliatelle. When we called the waitress back, she pointed at my partners dish and said ‘no there’s beef in that one’ … and true enough after some digging, we found a piece of beef in one of the dishes. Other than that they were identical, both containing what seemed to be some form of processed seafood – nothing fresh whatsoever. During our meal, at around 9pm, the waitresses sat down on the table behind us and started eating their dinner. Then they started dimming the lights every five minutes as if asking us to leave. The dinner was rounded off with ‘banoffi pie’ – or rather a caramel square with a slice of banana and synthetic cream sprayed on top, and a piece of shop bought strawberry cheesecake. I can honestly say in all my life I have never been so shocked at the level of poor service, poor food, and poor atmosphere. Will not be returning…

I love the atmosphere here and the wine bar downstairs is very lovely and intimate. They were extremely short staffed but it was obvious they were working very hard. However a gentleman was bending over backwards to get a waitress to a couple who arrived 20 minutes after we did and no one had spoken to us so that was a miss. I had the pizza and although it was good, I had to cut it myself which I thought was odd and a pain because the table was so small. But my guy had carbonara which he said was good.

I had lunch here today and I won't be returning. I opted for the lunch special of pizza and soft drink for €7.95, which appeared great value but upon receiving the food it definitely wasn't. Frankly, my pizza was an inedible, soggy, greasy mess. My orange was supposed to be Club but tasted like generic splash gun that you come across in pubs. The place was unbelievably quiet for lunch on a Thursday and it's obviously because the food is not up to standard.

I recently ate here with my husband and we were extremely disappointed in the food after reading reviews on line about it. The staff were very friendly and good atmosphere but the quality of the dishes was disastrous, rock hard mushrooms to start, ciabatta was not toasted, pizzas were soft/runny in the middle. We wouldn't eat here again, despite the friendly staff & atmosphere, sorry.

Ate here for the first time two weeks ago! The waitress was more than helpful. The food was delish. Both myself & my dinner buddy had the pasta which were good sized portions - I did order a side portion of veg which really had seen better days (this is my only negative) desserts were gorgeous. Definitely worth a return visit.

Ate here last Friday with 3 of my friends, one of the girls was late but each time we told the waitress we were waiting for another person she would come back 3 mins later wondering were we ready to order! Food was average a few of us got pizza and not one of us finished it. Found the service staff very overbearing. This restaurant I would deem cheap and cheerful but there are definitely better alternatives out there and I would not recommend it to friends.

Ate here last Saturday with my boyfriend. Wasn't overly impressed. The restaurant itself is quite narrow and felt quite crowded. The waiters were constantly bumping into the table, knocking coats on the floor and the whole place seemed very rushed. The food itself was nothing to write home about. I had pea soup for starters, my bf had prawns. Both ok, but not great. For the main, I had sea bass (a favourite of mine) which was just bland and tasteless. It was served with "Pacino chips" which were big greasy slightly burnt chunks of potato-really awful. My bf had a beef & pasta dish. Again, mediocre. The only saving grace was the price. €68 for two starters, two mains and a bottle of wine. Not bad. I'd say try this place for lunch, but not for a nice dinner.

Passed this restaurant a lot of times on the way to work, however never been in. After seeing that they have renovated the place decided to pop in. Very impressed the value was excellent along with the service. The menu is a bit extensive however what I had was very nice. Will be back!

Ate in this gem of a restaurant for lunch last week-it's 2 steps from Grafton St but thankfully without the pretentious atmosphere of many similar spots and the overpriced menu too! The prawns in filo pastry were the best I've had in ages-juicy & crispy. The wine list is extensive-well chosen & well priced. The decor is modern but cosy & the staff were delightful-competent and more importantly, smiling. Will certainly be back...

Great quality Italian food at a very reasonably price. The waiting staff are very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely go back and will recommend it to others.

Came to Pacinos on Friday for lunch was told by friends it was a nice place to go! but I think they must have sent me to the wrong place, I was on my lunch hour so didn’t have much time restraint; was busy but the staff seemed to be v stressed, I ordered the pasta and a soft drink my food came after half hour in which time I had still not received my drink didn’t have time to finish my food but probably for the best as it wasn’t up to much! Overall don’t think I will be back.

My boyfriend and I ended up eating here after La Bodega downstairs was closed. Otherwise we may not have bothered to stop as the menu isn’t hugely exciting. However, the food itself was fine, if a little unremarkable. The waiting staff were very young but surprisingly skilled. Run-of-the-mill.

Came in here using the menupoints voucher on a Wednesday night-it seemed rather quiet but there is a nice atmosphere and the staff very friendly. Menu was maybe a bit too extensive, covering all the typical Italian dishes. Generous servings of all the dishes we had, which were tasty enough, but not outstanding. This seems to be a safe, very well located and reasonably priced restaurant to bear in mind when in town hungry.

Brought family here for lunch after reading other reviews but it was not great at all. Staff were great and decor in the restaurant was lovely, however food was awful, very poor quality. These days I expect my food to be freshly cooked. Here it was not. Starter of mushrooms were out of a frozen bag and like marbles as you couldn't get a fork into them. Meatballs starter was ok. Pizza hadn't enough topping and my first chicken dish had to be sent back as it was overdone in the microwave and I couldn't cut it, got second chicken but still heated up in a microwave and wasn't brought a fresh baked potato with it. Smell of sewage at back of restaurant due to drains being fixed. Need to buck their ideas with microwave/heated up food. We weren't the only ones sending food back.

Myself and my boyfriend were about to head to Temple Bar for some food and just passing Pacino's (which we had never noticed before), read the VERY extensive menu and went in. Delighted we did! Very impressed, staff very attentive and friendly. We were back there 2 weeks later for Valentines and just last week I took my girlfriends there after a show and they were all very impressed. The prices are very reasonable, good atmosphere and great service. Will be back again!

Good to see Pacinos back and greatly improved. The food was excellent and the atmosphere and new decor very relaxing. Service was friendly, fast and efficient. Will be back soon to check out the rest of the new menu and see what the Tapas is like downstairs.

I dined here on a Saturday night with eight friends. As I had made the booking I was delighted that everything was as I expected. The friendly and efficient service was seamless. The food was great. The menu was even better than before. Good company and a very relaxing Saturday night.

Popped into an old favourite after hearing on the grapevine that Café Presse had returned to Paccinos! I was delighted to discover the menu was as good as the last time I was there! We had the Ceaser Salad and the Garlic bread to start, and the Salmon Bake and a 10oz Sirloin for mains, washed down with a lovely crisp bottle of Frascatti…. Service and food both superb!!! Delighted on Paccinos’ return!!!

Was here the other week for a farewell lunch with the girls from work, have to say the meal was superb and the value for money was amazing. As I love my food a decent sized portion is always ideal and I can tell the portions myself and my colleagues got were decent sized. I ordered the chicken cajun salad which was both filling and light enough for a lunch time. This is somewhere where I will be going back to as soon as an opportunity arises.

Three of us came here on a Friday night. We started in the wine bar downstairs which is lovely. We then moved ourselves upstairs for our booking in the restaurant (taking our wine we were drinking downstairs with us). It was quite busy in the restaurant but the waitors were very attentive. I got the arribiatta which came with some garlic bread, it was delicious! We had a couple of bottles of wine which were lovely. The bill was very reasonable as well. Would totally recommend this place.

Myself and a friend went for lunch here recently and both really enjoyed it. We both had pizza - which was perfect - really tastie and perfect size for lunch. It was served with a piece of garlic bread and side salad, and for approx €8 (can't remember) I thought it was well worth it. Service was also good.

After booking online for a table in the main area, I was dissopointed to be seated in the cellar which had a very claustrophobic feel. I was also assured before I arrived that everything was on the menu, until finding out during my order that there was no pate, no cassolette, no beans for the lamb. My wife reluctantly ordered garlic bead and hummus dip starter which was bland and tasteless, I had the buffalo wings which were not much better. Our mains were steak (nicely cooked) and I had roast chicken with tarragon sauce (not enough tarragon). The service was friendly and value for money was good but I would rather pay a little extra for tasty food and better choice.
