I liked the relaxed atmosphere. Had a sandwich for lunch and found it a great spot for a catch up with my friend. Food was brought to the table as it was being toasted. Staff seemed very friendly. It was busy but not overcrowded for lunch. Will be going back again

This is a great Breakfast and Lunchtime spot, not sure if they are open in the evening times but im not around this part of the city at that time. It is very much casual dining with a great cafe feel to it. The food above everything else is great quality, varied, & v. interesting for a "cafe deli". They are (as most Dubs will be able to tell you) a well recognised old Dublin bakery, but they have managed to remain contemporary without compromising their identity. Although I am usually there for their savoury offerings (Think Kilkenny design or avoca but cheaper!), there bakery counter is of serious merit. Everything from scones and wedding cakes and the cutest cupcakes to eclairs and what not. Im not really into sweet stuff but the smell that comes from their bakery down the back (get a seat near the door and you can watch it in full swing) is enough to drive anyone crazy. A friend of mine also got their wedding cake there v.last minute through their website www.manningsbakeryshops.ie and was delighted. One to watch.

This is a deli/bistro type restaurant. It is bright and airy inside. It servesa good selection of sandwiches, paninis, salads and hot dishes. I had a baked potato with bacon and cheese topping and my companion had lasagne and salad. Both meals were very tasty.
Service is friendly and prompt. I have eaten here a number of times before and will definitely do so again.

Lamb Cutlets with Garlic, Lemon and Paprika

Why not make up a large quantity of this marinade in advance – it is wonderful with cutlets and would also work well with leg steaks or loin chops. The longer you marinate the meat for, the better the flavour!
