I've eaten in Green nineteen several times over the last few years and to be honest each time its let me down a little bit more. In the past I was vaguely impressed by the prospect of getting a main for 10 euro and a dessert for a fiver, but that just isn't enough these days. My last experience with them, and hopefully my very last was a pretty serious disappointment. My partner had the pork belly and I had the burrito. Deciding which of the two is a more ill conceived dish is tough. I'll start with the pork belly. The meat itself is badly cooked and has missed the mark on all counts of what a pork belly should be. Someone should let the chef know pork belly is supposed to be tender with crispy crackling on top instead of a fatty, tough lump of grizzle with over cooked pork crisps on the side. Its served on a bed of cabbage and overly sweetened baked beans slobbered in barbeque sauce, which taste like a failed experiment of a drunken college student after a night out. Now onto the burrito, who could have thought someone could create a burrito that tastes of nothing whatsoever? Have Green nineteen heard of a little something called seasoning the food? The "mexican chilli bean burrito" is as if someone has put a tortilla on a plate, poured a can of tomatoes and a can of beans on, microwaved and then served. It was indeed the most bland food I've tasted in quite a while. As for the service, I had to ask for water three times from two clearly indifferent waitresses before actually receiving any. They treated me as if I was in their way, causing them hassle, rather than an actual guest in their restaurant. We didn't bother with dessert and I won't be bothering with Green nineteen again. Steer well clear of this place.

I really enjoyed the moroccan spiced lamb with cous cous. My friends didn't enjoy their meals however and the staff never approached once during the meal to check that everything was ok. Also, the water we asked for never arrived, until we asked for it again at the first opportunity - which was when we were already finished our dinner and wine and the waitress came back to clear our table.
It'd been a while since i was in Green19 and the poor service doesn't make me want to rush back again anytime soon.

Food is lovely but the venue is very noisey (busy Saturday night so prehaps forgiveable). Really great value with "cheaper" sytle meat being cooked really nicely (pork belly, lamb tagine)
My one critcism and it's a big one is don't go in a large group. I was part of a hen party and to say we were squashed at the group table is a significant understatement! I had to eat with one had as I couldn't actually move my other hand to use my cutlery.
However, the staff were very friendly, efficent and service was spot on.

As a couple/four to a table you'll have a very enjoyable experience

I dined here with a group of friends on NYE for the first time. To start I had the foccacia bread and selection of dips. I was quite disappointed as the foccacia turned out to be a brown sliced pan toasted, the dips were nice though. My partner had the butternut squash which he enjoyed and my friends ordered the selection of cured meats which also came with sliced brown bread. I had the burger which was very nice, my friends had various dishes including the lamb tagine and the goats cheese salad. The portions were very generous and everyone seemed happy. The wine was priced quite reasonably too.

I have to say the atmosphere was great and the staff were lovely and attentive. I expected the be crammed into a corner as it was NYE, however all of the tables are quite well spaced so even though the restaurant was full you didn't feel as though you were having dinner with the people beside you!

Overall I was pleased and would recommend to a friend.

Great spot for a mid week dinner. Most of the mains are only €10 and are quite tasty. The service is friendly and there is a nice buzz in the place.

Here for a post-marathon bite to eat, and impressed as always. Went for the burger and chips for starter and had the ham for mains (very hungry). All well cooked, no pretence, happy leaving, as was everyone else in the group. Still the best value restuarant in town.

Green 19 is an awesome experience, nicest staff in the world, best cocktails (Soul Manhattan is my Favorite), the food always hits the spot and the atmosphere is incredible. Its a winner on every front. If you haven't been, go, if you have, I don't have to tell you.
