This place is hard to beat in terms of friendly and quick service. very quiet due to recession I assume though high % of customers appeared to be having liquid lunch!I'd the tasty, reliable chicken wrap.

I visited here for lunch today, whilst service was very friendly and efficient, I was so disappointed with the food, I ordered a panini which came out part soggy, the quality of cheese wasn't great and there were massive chunks of onion which weren't appetising at all. The side salad was nice and fresh but I'm afraid that's all I liked. What bothered me most was the fact that this poor panini with a side salad cost €9.00! So expensive and the quality certainly didn't match the price. Disappointed as I had been looking forward to trying lunch there

Wasn't overly impressed. I like pub grub as much as the next person but it just felt a bit flung together for me. Ordered a sandwich on brown bread, it came on white. It was toasted so I didnt notice until the waitress had gone. Nothing else on the plate - just a giant white bread sandwich with ham (admittedly freshly carved), not fully melted cheese and scallion instead of onion. Bit disappointing. Could have done the same myself at home, only better.

I come here for lunch quite frequently. The food is always reliable, tasty and well presented. It is arguably the fastest service of any lunch venue. No sooner have you ordered the food but it's at your table. Highly recommend.

Err... pub food, served in a pub. Does what it says on the tin, but doesn't really wow, although they try hard to deal with the hungry lunchtime masses. Expect to eat without your elbows leaving your chest - it really gets that cramped.

Great spot for a nice lunch! Great quality food, lovely size portions, perfect place for a nice lunch. The prices have gone up recently but it is still relatively cheap for the quality of food. I went for the Chilli potato, €10 and worth every penny, no need for dinner after! Lovely salad dressing on the side salads and the staff are fantastic. Lovely place to go, well worth it!

Have had lunch here a few times and have always been impressed. The service is very efficient and friendly. Tha atmosphere is always busy and buzzing. The menu is fairly extensive and the paninis and wraps are lovely as well as the baked potatoes. The prices are quite high but you get plenty of food for it.

I have lunch here regularly as I work nearby and can never fault it. The panini's are delicious and salad that comes with it is very generous and realy tasty. Great value, fab food, and excellent service. Only negative i have is that they could do with putting a few more desserts on though, don't always feel like one but would be nice to have a better choice if i do.

Great for lunches. Used to work nearby & ate here almost every day. Would still pop in any time i'm in town around lunch time. The grilled chicken on granary bread is delicious... Baked potatoes, salad & paninis are all good too though. Service is usually very efficient which is always a plus when you're on lunch.

Go here for lunch quiet a bit as I work on Merrion Square. Always really good, service is excellent. My favourite is the open chicken on granary bread but the chilli baked patatoe is really good too. Will continue to go here.

Great for a filling lunch. Service is efficient and friendly. Coffee comes is horrible mugs and really isn't worth whatever they charge for it - but food is great esp the salmon and prawns

Affordable lunch on Baggot Street. Great for informal client meetings. Food is fresh and portions generous. Head upstairs for lovely views of Baggot Street.

I went here for lunch, love the look of the place, quite old style with lots of hidden corners! Had the baked potato with Mozzarella and Cheddar. I was a bit surprised at the price - around €10 but I don't think I've ever had such a great baked potato! There was a lovely fresh salad on the side, all in all an extremely filling if slightly pricey lunch.

Ok I cannot rate this place high enough if you're looking for a fab lunch. What to eat what to eat...... I've had the bbq chicken panini, I've had the steak, I've had the lasagne, I've had baked potato (huge) I've had open chicken sandwich and soup also. All I can say is, price is fantastic, food is excellent... and the staff are very quick with service.

Excellent place for lunch - plenty to choose from on the menu and really friendly staff. Recommend the shepherds pie and chilli baked potato. The coffee isn't great but you can't go wrong with a cup of tea.

I eat here every second Monday. The fact that its impossible to get a seat in here at lunch time tells you how nice the food is. They have a great selection of sandwiches, catering for everybody. I love the open chicken on granary bread.

One of my favourite places to go to for lunch!! Everything comes with a side salad! No chips are served which is great!! Not tempted to be bold! I usually get their hot chicken roll, barbeque panini or shepherds pie. All my favourites. Just gorgeous!

Another regular venue for lunch due to the good choice and excellent quality food with the roast rib of beef being my personal favourite. It is a little bit expensive however and nearly impossible to find a seat from 1-1:30 but despite this we still keep going back. They also possess, in Antoinette, the best waitress I have ever encountered.

For what it is, there is an amazing menu followed through with really good food. Possibly the best pub grub in Dublin.
