Doheny and Nesbitt, City Centre South

Famous for a number of reasons, not least because it draws the glitteratti jet set. Wealthy buzz augmented on rugby weekends. Can be a fascinating place to rest your laurels. Serious pints, serious service, vibrant surroundings. Baggot Street and all it's wares to hand. Go.

I visited here for lunch today, whilst service was very friendly and efficient, I was so disappointed with the food, I ordered a panini which came out part soggy, the quality of cheese wasn't great and there were massive chunks of onion which weren't appetising at all. The side salad was nice and fresh but I'm afraid that's all I liked. What bothered me most was the fact that this poor panini with a side salad cost €9.00! So expensive and the quality certainly didn't match the price. Disappointed as I had been looking forward to trying lunch there
