This was another great visit to Darwins, the fillet steak and t-bone we had were amazing, the filet was especially melt in the mouth and the sides were also super (Spinach and the garlic mushrooms). People seem to enjoy themselves in this restaurant and the atmosphere is great as a result. Would recommend but not the day before payday!

Great steaks always,I really like that there are two steaks on the early bird menu with no supplement.Pate and calamari starters are very good.I'm going there again on Thurs eve.

We had the early bird which was great value. Even paying full price the food was so good it would have been well worth it. The early bird prices were a bonus! All the food was presented wonderfully. At this stage all restaurants serve beetroot and goats cheese as a starter but the twist is that Darwin's served it as a risotto, which was really light and tasty and a great combination of flavours. The staff were very helpful and gave great advice on which steak to select. The steaks were wonderful, while the desserts were so delicious and light. We were served by a number of different staff members, and they were all really helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon.

We were made very welcome by the proprietor and the service was friendly and attentive. My husband ordered the t-bone steak and although he enjoyed it a lot he wished he had also ordered the New York striploin steak, which was cooked to perfection and very flavoursome. We opted for chips in stead of the accompanying mashed potato. They could have mentioned that they charge half price for it. The spinach was also tasty. Unfortunately we had no place left for dessert. The steaks never disappoint.

Darwin's never disappoints. We shared the beetroot risotto starter. Both had fillet steak with some house fries on the side. Steak was huge but we managed to leave our plates clean. Best steak in town!

We were running late and I phoned to advise them of this. They could not have been more helpful or accomodating, especially seeing as it was their last sitting of the night. We both had the fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection. Mash was lovely too. Then we had the desert platter that was just beautiful. Probably my favourite restaurant in Dublin and one of the best steaks I've had in Ireland.

Went to darwins lastnite with party of seven we were in dublin on business, two of whom are michelin star chefs in london, knowing this I had to select a restaurant that wouldn't disapoint & my oh my what a fantastic dining experience we all experienced, the risotto starter was possibly the best risotto I've ever had & the fillet steak for mains was divine again the best just melt in the mouth my dining companions agreed this was a rare dining experience that we all agreed that establishment know food &by; having their own master butcher was proven in select well hung & aged beef.this is an art similar to choosing a fine wine.we were all amazed all the quality of food presented.the staff were very welcoming & smiling & jolly you could see they were happy in their work even though the place was thronged they took everything in their stride not a bother to them.well what can I say? When are ye opening a darwins in london?! Brilliant 10 out of 10.

Was there on the 27th with two collegues of mine - had as a starter duck pate, then the Ribeye Steak on the Bone with Blue Cheese sauce, and the brownie as dessert. We had a bottle of Stellenbosch Shiraz and later Muscat de Beaumes de Venise as a dessert wine. I was this summer already once there with one of my colleues but the food didn't impress me too much. But this time the steak, together with the blue cheese sauce was heavenly!!! One of the best steaks I ever had!! Staff was friendly and we spent in total ~140 Euro for three persons. Am looking forward to go there again.

Visited during December when generally standards drop, not the case here, it was excellent from start to finish. Staff were welcoming and kind to my older relatives, greatly appreciated. The bill was exceptional value for the quality of food and service.
