Burritos & Blues 3.5 star review: I have tried a lot of burrito places around Dublin for lunch and to me this is by far the best. The ingredients are fresh and portions are good. I always go for the silver bullet and have never been disappointed. It is around 50c more than some other take away places but you get a lot more for your money and there are plenty of seats. Only problem is there is never any blues playing. In fact the atmosphere is no better than any fast food burger joint.

Burritos & Blues 4.5 star review: Perfect aprés drink feast! Brilliant value! Can't say enough good about the burritos, my personal favourite is the Silver Bullet! One of the few burrito places I've found that do minced beef, not just shredded beef (open to correction on this). The staff are always super friendly and the queue normally moves quite quickly! Can't fault it to be honest! It's also perfect for a quick bite on the go for lunch!

Burritos & Blues 3.0 star review: Great stop for a quick eat. I had a quasedilla which was very nice indeed. The salsa and guacamole were fresh and homemade tasting. Decent value at 7/8 euro plus extra for the guacamole for a large serving size served with tortilla chips. Fast food enviroment but pleasant enough. recommended for fans of mexican food in a hurry.

Burritos & Blues 2.0 star review: Went to store on st anne st. Very disappointed by the overall food experience. We only ordered the nachos, the first thing we saw added after the chips was a processed cheese sauce never a good sign. The rest of the ingredients looked great, lovely and fresh, all topped off with grated cheese. But then the biggest disappointment somehow omitting the grilling stage. This place lost all authenticity after that, typical belief that Irish people will pay for anything. I complained anyway glad I did as was could have been so much better had they not taken short cuts.

Burritos & Blues 4.0 star review: I went to the Sth Anne Street store with a voucher last Friday evening and got two burritos and salsa fries. it was really two much food for two people. Salsa fries had too much topping and some white sauce that wasnt great. Burritos are very nice as usual but my favourite store is Wexford Street, as they seem to get everything right more often. It is a new store though, so things might improve as they settle into business. Good location and good food for the most part.

Burritos & Blues 4.0 star review: I'll never understand how it has taken this long for a Mexican fast food option to establish itself in Dublin.

Good food, competitively priced, good locations - what's not to like.

Burritos & Blues 2.0 star review: I was very disappointed with my visit here. We were served quick enough but had to clear our table ourselves before we sat down and I noticed other tables around us could have done with been cleared. Hence I have taken marks off for this. I was really looking forward to eating here however my tacos were soggy at the bottom and I left them unfinished. I have given a score of 2.5 as my companion did enjoy her silver bullet. Atmosphere was alright except I found the music a tad too loud. I know this has been covered in a previous post. Based on todays visit I will not be returning.

Hi there, firstly let me apologise for the experience you had on your visit to Burritos & Blues. We try our hardest to make sure every customer has a positive and very filling visit to any of our stores. This time we have got it wrong!

Each of our team are trained to ensure that the customer is number 1! I will investigate why the tables were not cleared and I will ensure that this does not continue to happen in any of our stores. I apologise for this.

With regard to the Tacos, we do find that depending on the fillings, the Tacos themselves tend to go soggy. This is due to the ingredients being slightly wet, due to lime juices, marinades and salsas all being liquid based.

I would like to invite you back to try our product and our service again. If you could email me on david@burritos.ie I will send on some vouchers for you.

Again, I apologise for you bad experience and I will ensure that it does not happen again

Regards

David

Burritos & Blues 5.0 star review: This place is great! From the moment you walk in the door you get smell of spice and heat! A silver Bullit & a salsa Fries is my usual! The fries are legendary! Its not unusual that when I get back to work there are a few others with B&B bags! Go for the No.4 Sauce though, Its hot but i believe they have a No.5 coming soon!!

Burritos & Blues 4.0 star review: I had the silver bullet burrito. It was delicious but temperature wise it wasn't very hot. This place is fine but they need to clean up a bit. The table I sat at was dirty and we had to dispose of a beer bottle that had been left on it

Burritos & Blues 3.5 star review: My burrito-loving companion rates the Silver Burrito as the finest in Dublin. The carnitas is deliciously moist - the beans are excellent. Their salad toppings are very fresh. Great service - relaxed atmosphere. Very little not to like at Burrito & Blues.

Lamb Cutlets with Garlic, Lemon and Paprika

Why not make up a large quantity of this marinade in advance – it is wonderful with cutlets and would also work well with leg steaks or loin chops. The longer you marinate the meat for, the better the flavour!
