I have to say the staff in this Restaurant were very friendly and genuine. I had never been to an Argentine Restaurant before so i was really looking forward to it, The chicken wings were fantastic to start, had the rib eye steak for mains with pepper sauce, my only complaint was that the pepper sauce was very watery, but im sure this can be easily resolved, otherwise lovely little find, Thanks to menupages.

I visited Buenos Aires Grill with my girlfriend, good atmosphere for lunch time and enough space between tables. The steaks were amazing, both the rib eye and sirloin, best I've had in years. Only criticism being I would have liked a bit more veg. The staff were competent and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. I had a voucher but even without it, I still would have considered the food under priced. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

My wife and i ate at this restraunt in late march,we both had chicken wings for starters quite nice but a little messy,we had fillet steak for our mains with chunky chips which we would score this dish very highly, i had panacotta for my dessert and the wife had chocolate muffin again another good dish, overall a good restraunt and will return soon.

My husband and myself enjoyed one of the finest meals ever in our Capital city - in this restaurant on Wednesday last. The warmth of their welcome, the buzz and energy of the place, staff hopping around with large dishes of food and beaming smiles and all diners happily chirping and savouring - such was the ambience that touched us and excited us as we waited to be seated. We both had fillet steak. It was the largest, most succulent, finger-licking piece of meat that we ever tasted and I doubt if we'll drool over its likes again until we get the opportunity to dine in this restaurant. Its accompaniments were equally delicious - a variety of roast veg. and hand- made chunky wedges of real potatoes. We barely had room for dessert but enjoyed a fruit crumble between us and this was wholesome and home-made. I tire of these bought in frozen ones in so many restaurants. Not here though. One can see the chefs cooking in the kitchen and the meticulousness to detail with every dish. We loved the place and you would too!

We've eaten here twice in the past 6 weeks. Both times using LivingSocial vouchers. Fantastic value deals. One of the vouchers was for a different restaurant that had ceased trading but it was honoured by the common owner/manager. No hassle, no fuss and a pleasure to deal with. Both visits were a resounding success. We experemented (within the meat section - well it is an Argentinian restaurant!) with menu choices on both ocassions and were not disappointed. The food was perfectly food to order and portions were generous. There is a very good selection of wines with Argentinian wines very prominent. Service was efficient and staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is one big room, with a cosmopolitian but still warm and welcoming ambience. Highly recommended, even if you don't have a deal voucher. We'll be back.

Went with a Menupages voucher and really enjoyed it. Service was great really helpful and friendly. Food was lovely not much choice for veggies but that’s not the point here! Partner had the chicken wings to start which were yum but guacamole side was a bit bland, then the rib eye cooked to medium rare perfection - the meat was delicious tender and flavoursome and the chips were deemed the best ever tasted! I had the caprice starter which was nice and the chicken for main which was very good although the accompaniments were in short supply - not great for a big appetite but tasty! Two desserts followed ice-cream was lovely. Overall a great night will return but given the prices will wait for another voucher!

Was here on one of the voucher deals. Food was very nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Was a little disappointed as the first three choices of wine I made they did not have - and instead had to choose from a small select number they had available. The main I had was delicious but not really in fitting with the argentinean theme but the steak my partner had was delicious and cooked absolutley perfectly.

We had a voucher to spend in this restaurant, and finally when we decided to use it, at Easter time, we were able to find a table only on Monday night, as the previous ones were obviously fully booked. Well, also on Monday night the restaurant was quite full, but we were given a nice table, big enough and not close to other people. We had 2 lovely starters and a parillada for 2 people, that I highly recommend, and a glass each of very good french wine. We also tried a bottle of a different wine, and I have to say that the wine list looked very good and, above all, not super expensive, taht is a good thing, as sometimes the wines are really overpriced and that put you off. The service has been excellent. As usual, when you get a voucher, you are afraid that you will be treated in a different way from a regular customer, but this was not the case. The parillada was very good and the portions were big enough. Also the starter were excellent: I had some sorts of lime prawns and it was delicious. And the value was brilliant (50% of discount on the total amount). The only negative point was that the fillet and some types of red wines were sold out, but being the monday after Easter it was understandable. Overall, a very good experience, and I will definitely be back again.

We dined here on Saturday with living social vouchers. We had chicken wings to start, I'm not a big fan of wings but the coating on these was delicious. 2 mr fillet steaks with decent chips and salad followed which could not be faulted in any way. The steaks were melt in the mouth. We never order desert but we spied a chocolate desert ordered by other diners and ordered this chocolate lava to share. He reckons it was the best part of his meal, it was that good. The restaurant was packed, this was our second attempt to get a booking. The service was great too. Will definitely return.

I went to this restaurant on Saturday night with my husband. We had a menu pages voucher. Unbelievable value for money but a very good way to experience a restaurant. Staff were very attentive, the restaurant was busy, loved the lattino music in the background. I had the fish cakes and my husband had the cocunut tiger prawns. Both really good. For main course I had the surf and turf. I ordered my steak "medium rare" and one piece was cooked more "medium well". My husband ordered a fillet steak and he loved it. Really good flavours. I would definately recommend this restaurant. Although it is a bit on the pricey side at EUR 120 for 2 but I guess you do get delicious steak and delicious wine, good service and a buzzing atmosphere. Thumbs up.

Disappointing! Myself and my husband went after work and ordered wings to share for starters and fillet steaks for mains. Our starters never came. The waitress forgot to input them on the computer. All we got was the bowl of water with lemon to clean our hands! We began on our mains but I found my steak under cooked for my liking. My husband did also but was able to eat his. I had lava cake for dessert to cheer me up but definitely a lacklustre dinner. We had a voucher as part payment of the meal but I would have hated to pay full price. Also I would have expected at least the dessert to be free considering the forgotten starter.

Went along for my menu pages deal last Friday and it was brilliant. Very pleasant maitre d and service in general was very good. Great starters especially the chowder. We shared the meat platter, which was enormous, as a main course. We brought away a doggie bag with what we couldn't finish and we fed the rest of the family for the weekend. There was steak, pork belly, chicken, ribs, chorizo sausages, puddings among other things. Only problem was we had to struggle to make room for dessert which was just as high quality as the rest of the meal. Great food, nice atmosphere and excellent value.

Our Menupages deal took us to this popular restaurant - it needed to be a 5.30 booking on busy St Patrick's weekend. We both had coconut shrimp which were cleverly skewered on lemongrass which gave extra flavour. I had shellfish rigatoni tasty but not so light - a bit oily. My husband got beef asaba - ribs with mash - very large portion of tasty melt in the mouth beef. The side of corn on the cob was two cobs but over buttery and did not appear to be BBQd - but nice. Desserts were chocolate pecan tart and warm chocolate lava - both very good and thankfully not too big after earlier large portions. Lovely staff mostly from South America. Some other diners were very loud so I wondered about the acoustics - I could hear every word from far side of a pillar. Great menu and pleasant dining - thanks!

Went to Buenos Aires at the weekend for a family dinner, 8 people in total. Had been before so expected the same excellent service but was slightly let down. Ordered house white, they brought red. A relation and I ordered the 10oz fillet steak medium rare. Mine was medium rare but unforunately hers was well done so she sent it back and it was practically the same when a new one came out. Ordered the shallots on the side but the steak was half gone when they arrived. It was a busy Saturday night so perhaps they could be forgiven! Going again soon on the Menupages deal and looking forward to it. Worth a visit..

Went to this restaurant last night with a menupages voucher. Amazing value for money, the food was unreal especially the chicken wings on the starter menu!!! lovely atmosphere, great service, would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The only thing I'd say is that without the voucher it would have worked out quite expensive.

We had booked for 19.00 but arrived at 18:00 and there were no problems with that. We had a deal from menupages; any 2 starters, mains and desserts for €34.99 which was unbelievably good value for what we got! For starters I had the Jumbo prawns and my partner had the fishcakes, both were very tasty. For mains I had the T-Bone steak and she had the surf & turf. The T-Bone was beautifully cooked and came with a nice salad and very good home-made chips. The surf & turf had lovely, tender medallions of beef which were extremely good. For dessert i had a chocolate tart which was too rich and heavy for me but others would definitely love it, she had the creme brulee which she loved and we were both given free samples of a new dessert they were trying out. It was very good. My only complaint would be that they had no pear and blackberry crumble left when I was ordering dessert. This is a very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere, i felt comfortable and relaxed the entire time and the staff were extremely attentive. Will definitely be going back to try the pre-theater meal which looks to be great value and have already recommended it to friends and family.

We ate at Burnos Aries grill last night. Prob my only complaint was that we had rang about 5 times and nobody answered. Its ok tho, restaurants can get busy and they did phone me back within the hour. So we walked in off the street and were escorted to a nice table. The restaurant was cosy and warm on a cold night, and the staff were really lovely, friendly and smiley and seemed to enjoy their work. we had one of those ciry deals and it was worth every penny. My friend had the chicken wings, sooo tasty. . I had the prawns in sesame seeds on a fragrant stick of lemongrass- Beautiful. We both had the 8 oz fillet. Big fat juicy chunk of meat, presented beautifully with delicious chunky homemade chips. If I am being really critical, maybe the steak was a tiny tiny bit tough, but still very nice. Had the Chocolate Lava cake for dessert- TO DIE FOR! Rich and sumptuous accompanied by just the right amount of vanilla ice cream Had a really pleasant meal, will defo be back.

Myself & my other half went here on Sat night & the place was buzzing. We had a voucher deal, so we got 2 starters, 2 mains & 2 glases of wine. I found the service to be great very efficient. I had the empanada for starters and himself had the prawns. I thought that my starter was very tasty and quiet morish, the prawns were not as flavorsome and were abit skimpy! For Mains I had the 10oz fillet steak (There was a €5 supplement on this) & himself had the 14oz ribeye. They both came with chunky homemade chips and side salad. Both steaks we delicious and I will definately be going back again for more, I did however find that the portion sizes for the chips & salad was quiet small, maybe this had something to do with the deal. I had 2 glasses of spanish red & he had 2 beers. All & all a very enjoyable dinner, will return soon I hope. Also the staff we very friendly and attentive.

Had a meal with my boyfriend, the host is very welcoming. This was our second visit. The fillet steak was really tasty and the monkfish was delicious. We had a nice bottle of Malbec. The HUGE problem that we had was the coffee, I had an espresso and my partner an americano, the coffee was really bitter. It was so bad it runied the whole meal and we both felt sick for the entire night after. I am so dissapointed because the meal itself was so tasty and good value.

Probably the toughest steak I have ever had in a restaurant!! Using the menu pages deal we booked for a monday evening. To cut to the chase my husband couldn't even cut into his steak, I tried it as well and I had no success. You could tell by looking at the steak it was rough. I'm surprised a chef served it. We sent it back, the replacement steak was equally as tough and therefore my husband ended up having no main. My steak I managed about half, but it involved so much chewing just to make it digestable I ran out of energy and gave up. When the bill came we needed to pay 15euro for drinks on top of the 40 we had already paid for the voucher. I suggested the drinks should be complimentry considering we had already paid for meals we couldn't eat. I was told the drinks would have to be paid for, So no gesture from the restuarant to satisfy customers who receive awful food. Will never go back,

We had a Menupages special offer voucher on Friday night. It is 2 yrars since our last visit for which we paid full price. On this occasion the portion sizes were decidedly smaller perhaps because of the special offer. Starters were Empanades (undercooked) and grilled mackeral (so-so). My T-Bone was small and too thinly cut but the flavour Was delicious. My partners fillet was a bit charred on the outside and again a bit on the mean side. The mains were accompanied by lovely thick cut chips. We passed on the desserts.Between a nice bottle of Malbec, 1 Jameson, 2 cognacs and a tip we dropped an extra €40. The place was packed, the service friendly and efficient. The starters were not up to scratch. We left feeling that we had half a fillet and half a T-bone at half price. Whats special about that?

Visited with a group of girlfriends. The service was amazing but the atmosphere of the restaurant is only mediocre. It's a bit bright. Had the empanadas to start (and had really high expectations after fond memories of these in Argentina), but they didn't live up to expectations at all. The steak was beautiful. Would go back again but would wait for a menupages deal to go.

Having just travelled around Argentina we decided we must purchase the deal for this restaurant when it appeared on Menupages. For starters I had the muscles which were really good. Very tasty and plentiful. My boyfriend opted for the empanadas which had become a firm favourite with us during our travels. For mains I had the tempura of monkfish. I just do not know why you would cover delicious monkfish in batter, While the batter was really light I soon got sick of it and proceeded to remove it from all my remaining pieces of fish. The noodles it was served with were very dry and very uninteresting. For mains my boyfriend had the fillet steak which was nice but nothing exceptional. Considering this restaurant models itself on a Buenos Aires steak house I think he expected more. It is quiet characterless, slightly like a hotel restaurant and the lighting was quite harsh. Would maybe return but only if another deal presented itself.

went here with a menupages voucher last Friday. The layout and design is very nice and staff pleasent and welcoming. For starters we had the coconut shrimp which was very well presented and looked as good as it tasted and the soup of the day. For mains we both had steak. It was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time and the chunky chips and veg cooked and seasoned well. Both plates were completely cleared. Managed to fit in desert at the end. Vanilla creme brulee with orange and black pepper biscuit which was really delicious. Couldn't really fault the place. would definatly go back for the early bird menu or wait for payday as it would be a little on the pricey side.

that atmosphere was very nice and we were given a choice of seats, the staff were all very nice and attentive the food was very good, but for the price it was a little underwhelming, the steak was ok - but it was just steak. the sides that the meal came with were very small. Over all it was an enjoyable meal but over priced and I wont go again.

Went here for birthday dinner and food was fab. Had empanadas for starter which were very tasty. For main course had 8 oz fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of side portions to ensure they didnt overshadow the steak. Will be back!

First time here for a girls night out. Opted for the early bird menu. The starters we quite small and they got the order wrong, so one of us had to wait 10 minutes for a starter, by which time the others had finished theirs. Long pause between courses. The restaurant was full and there seemed to be only two members of staff waiting tables. The striploin steak was fantastic and worth the wait. We all opted for the Eton Mess for dessert, which was a little different to what we expected, but nice enough. Very good value, and I'd come again.

Visited this place with the missus and have to say I was absolutely blown away by the food. The best steak I have ever had and the best seasoning I have ever had. Even the desserts were outstanding. The staff were friendly and very helpful too. This was easily the best dining experience I have ever had. One thing I have to note, is that I was here with a menupages voucher, without it, I would probably have found the food very expensive. We can't wait to get back.

I can only say I had one of the best meals here in a long time. Arrived at 18.30 and asked to order from the Pre- Theatre(Great-value) menus and guess what ....? \no problem...\the maitre de could not have been more accommodating and the staff were sooooo.... nice.Bear in mind that we were ordering when the restaurant was at it busiest at Xmas. it is great to see a real restaurant making the effort and not just trying to cream in the money. |Seriously folks, this place is one of the few Gems left in Dublin and fair play to all the chefs and staff....Go here and enjoy real value and service...

Was here with the Menupages deal and food was absolutely delicious! Was dying to go again for a while and am delighted this deal is back on 39e for 3 course for 2people!. I even bought the 15e for 30e worth of food deal for the month of Dec... Staff are very attentive and atmosphere was great. Very busy evenings although we had to wait approx 20-25mins after our booking time but was well worth it. Thumbs up for the 10oz Fillet Steak... Going back for more:)

I bought a city deal for this restaurant on previous recommendation and my fiancee and I decided to use it for his birthday. We were pleasantly surprised! The standard of food was excellent from the starter, main course, dessert and wine.It was a superb deal and outstanding value for money. After all it was a Friday evening too! When I saw today's deal for the same restaurant, we jumped at the chance for hopefully another fantastic meal out. Absolutely one of the best meals we have eaten this year from the high standard of food quality to the atmosphere, service and choice on the menu.Looking forward to the visiting it again!

Visited recently with the menupages deal, where we paid 39.95 for two starters, two mains and two glasses of wine. I was shocked to learn that this include all and any starters or mains, with only a small supplement of 5euro for the fillet steak and the surf and turf. Quiet simply, the steak was cooked to perfection, as ordered, they were big, and tender and juicy and even outside of the deal, they were reasonably priced! The starters were ok, nothing special, but more than acceptable, but looking forward to going back, and have bought another one of the menupages deals for January! Also mention a nice wine list all reasonably priced, the staff were helpful and the atmosphere was great aswell on the night. We ended up sitting there for about 3 hours talking and drinking, and not once did the staff ever have an issue with this, and we were the last to leave! For good quality, affordable steak, this is your place!

We went here with the menu pages deal we bought and we loved it. The voucher was for a three course meal for €39.95 we could choose any starter/main/dessert having looked at the menu this was well worth it. When we arrived at 7pm it was quiet enough there was only 3 other tables in use. We bought had the empanada's they were very filling but very nice. I then had the fish of the day I had never heard of it but was told it was a white fish it was with a chorizo potato it was gorgeous it was a bit dry but the minute I asked for more sauce it was brought straight away, my partner had the fillet steak which was cooked perfectly. Then for dessert I had the creme brulee it was just nice after the big meal my partner had the deep fried bree the platter was huge with grapes and crackers it was very tasty. By the time we finished our meal the place was packed there was not a free table which for a thursday nite was great and did not effect the service levels at all the staff were excellent. Our bill came to €102 but with the voucher we only had to pay €26 which was for the bottle of wine so I thought this was great, I will definately be going back!!

Very nice restaurant. The waitresses were friendly and nice. The food was good too. I had the jumbo shrimp to start and then the surf and turf. Only problem was that the surf and turf is 2 4oz fillets but they didnt look half as nice as the 8oz fillet. Still tasted nice though. Creme brulee for dessert was delicious.

Went here with a 39euro voucher for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 glasses of wine...so was great value. Overall a decent restaurant with standard enough food. We had a medium fillet steak and a rib eye. The rib eye was nice but the fillet was burned on the outside and this burned taste overpowered everything else. Otherwise all was good. Atomsphere was standard enough...a musician playing some latin guitar music would really make this place good.

My partner and I purchased one of the citydeal vouchers a while ago and decided to use it. The restaurant itself is off the beaten track but is modern and clean. We ordered the empanadas (yum!) and fish cakes. For the main we ordered the meat platter which is not for the faint hearted!! One complaint was the 12oz striploin on the plate. It was cooked perfectly but was very tough. For a steak restaurant this was very dissappointing. For desert we had the chocolate lava cake and creme brulee. The lava cake was about 1 min too far cooked but still moist. Overall the ambiance was good but the waitress that took our order and gave us the bill did not smile once or ask us how our meal was. This annoyed us and the tip reflected it. Despite this I would give it another try.

Had had bought a voucher for this restaurant through Menupages. We had booked a table for 5pm and were the first into the restaurant and the place was quiet as one would expect for somewhere so early. The inside lacks any real personality. It could have been a hotel restaurant in any city. I started with the fishcakes which were fine but could have done with a little more seasoning as they were on the bland side. I then had a rare rib eye steak which was extremely nice and cooked to perfection. The chips with it were soft, chunky and very enjoyable as was the garlic butter. For dessert I had the pear and blackberry crumble with ice cream. The topping on the crumble was sort of granola in texture and the ice cream complemented it nicely. We also had a bottle of Andeluna Merlot, Mendoza which again was good with the rare steak. The staff were friendly and service was fast. This is a restaurant for people who like steak ostensibly but their menu does have a good choice of alternates.

I purchased a voucher from Menupages which was for a three course meal. Everything was going well until our main course. No one came around to make sure our steak was cooked the way it was ordered, and never asked how the meal was. They took away our dishes and never asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu (which was included in the meal) or tea or coffee. The server came to remove our empty wine bottle and didn't say a word to us. I was about to ask for dessert but she quickly left our table. It took forever to get a hold of our server to get a the bill and left without dessert. The meal was good but the service left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't go back again.

3 of us went there for dinner on a Friday night. Upon arrival we were asked about vouchers and reservation, which we did not have, yet we got a table. For a starter we ordered 2 portions of chicken wings and chowder. Portions of wings were big, a bit messy and we did not have enough napkins nor a bowl of water for fingers. Chowder looked better than it tasted. For main course we had green curry, surn'n'turf and pasta. None of us were impressed with the food. I personally love meat and it was probably the worst rare steak I ever had. It was overcooked and looked burnt. Dishes are rather simple and lack any kind of spices. We were disappointed. Regarding staff, well, they did not even know if they sell cocktails, nor they knew what dishes are served with. They never bothered offering us dessert menu, and when we asked, they brought us something like a small plastic card under the glass, did they take it out of window??? Nope, definitively not going back.

This is an interesting restaurant. For some reason I feel like I want it to do well. It has some nice things but falls just a small bit short on others. It seems honest, like it's trying to get there but it's just not making it. I started with the empanadas which I found quite soggy and bland. For mains I went for the 10oz. prime fillet. It was nicely cooked but the sauce and chips were a bit of a let down. The desert was strong enough, it was a banoffi that was lightand enjoyable. Overall I thought the appearance of restaurant was nice but it's itsy bitsy in places too. Mismatching tables, table cloths etc, napkins missing, hard to get attention at times etc. They're not huge issues but at the same time, they impact the experience and this is where it falls down. Give it a try would but set your expectations to would be my tip.

Good Points: Excellent Steak. Perfectly cooked. Poor Points: Poor started - Salad lacked dressing and imagination Poor dessert - Lava cake lacked the lava! Worst Points: Argentinian Dessert of the week was Eton Mess - frankly a joke. The service was extremely poor, infact there were no redeeming features of the service. Rude, unattentive, lacked knowledge of the menu - for a restaurant charging these prices you should afford decent staff to the paying customers. I certainly would go back for a main course only if a takeaway service was available as there is no way I would eat in again. A real pity

The only good thing in the restaurant is service. The food was not something new, but very average. The atmosphere was spoiled by dirty, real dirty tablecloth. I don't think I will return to the restaurant.

Have been to this place twice both as a result of buying a voucher from a deals website and was impressed both times. The steak is what you come for here, although the starters and deserts are also lovely... I had the bread and dips on my first visit and the rib eye on both visits, with the chips and salad... salad ok, really the steaks are so massive that you can't even finish them! had tempura prawns on this occasion and they were lovely, crispy batter and really fresh. Would come again, but not unless it was a deal or an early bird as too expensive otherwise

We went here on the Menupages deal and had a very enjoyable evening. The staff were lovely, from the greeting at the door through to the service received from the two waitresses. Previously I was weary of eating here due to being a vegetarian, but there were several options for me on the menu, and I really enjoyed my meal. I had the Empanadas to start and the Halloumi Cheese as a Main, and then to complete the cheese feast the cheese board! My boyfriend tried crab for the first time to start and opted for the large t-bone main! I think despite the size he would have liked a few more chips and veg to accompany it, but was happy with his meal. We shared a bottle of wine with the meal and we were more than happy to pay the few little supplements on the meal, we were very pleased to have availed of this deal.

Really Disappointing! I was very surpised to be chewing on my steak for an age before I could swallow. Three of us went for dinner on Friday night. It was busy and we were having a relaxing evening so the delay in getting the food to us didn't bother us. The starters were fine, although pricey with a scallop starter (3 small scallops might I add) for €14. The quality of the steak bothered me. I do not think somewhere that prides itself on its steak should have medicore ribeye and pretty poor T-bone. The intense charcoal taste did not bother me, they were cooked to order, but the meat itself was too chewy and I have eaten better steak in a lunch time steak sarnie for €10. I would rather half a dinner eslewhere than go to the BAG again. One somewhat redeeming feature was the wine. The dessert was appauling... the single worse attempt at banoffi I have ever tasted.

I have visited this restaurant on three occasions now, twice when it was quiet and once when it was at it's busiest. I'm a big steak lover and so do my friends so we went here for a friends birthday recently. Unfortunately on each visit I have found myself disappointed in the steak, I like mine rare and on each occasion it was overcooked. My friend's was rare but found it quite grisly. The service was all over the place, it was friendly but we requested water for the table four times, knives were taken up after starter and not replaced so when our food arrived it took a few minutes to actually tuck in.When I asked what the Argentian Special dessert was, our waitress had to ask another waitress to explain. Most disappointingly, there were five of us at the table, 4 of us ordered dessert,it was my friends birthday so I quietly requested a candle on her dessert. The 4 desserts arrived and hers was without candle so we just started to eat, when another waitress came over with dessert and candle. So we had an extra dessert than ordered,as it was partially eaten we were charged for the additional one even though it was there mistake. Saying that the Argentine dessert special was amazing and I'd definitely recommend it.

I went here two weeks ago.The place is done very nice. The staff are very friendly and professional. I had the chowder, my husband had Deep-fried tempura king prawns for starters both were very good. My husband had the 18oz prime Rib-eye steak and I had the Baked Aubergine and Mozzarella cheese both were exceptional.I had berry crumble and my husband had Crème Brulee. We had an Argentinian white wine. The restaurant got really busy while we were in there but the staff didn't neglect us once. I would recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go back.

Since visiting Argentina three years ago, I've been looking forward to eating in Buenos Aires Grill so when the menupages.ie deal came up I was delighted. My boyfriend and myself went on Friday night and arrived to a bustling restaurant. We had calamari and the scallops for starters which were both very good. My boyfriend wanted to go for the 18oz rib eye for main but was told it wasn't available which was a bit of a let down, particularly seen as it appears to be a restaurant which prides itself on its steaks. We both ended up going for the 14oz rib eye which were sufficiently big and delicious, living up to those in Buenos Aires itself! Only other disappointment was that when I asked what the 'Argentinian Dessert of the Week' was they said there wasn't one, I then asked for the rhubarb crumble and they didn't have that either. Went for banoffee in the end and the chocolate lava which were both good. Overall, it was a pleasant experience but if I hadn't got such great value with the voucher I would be more disappointed with the unavailability of dishes advertised on the menu!

We ate here last night. The food was amazing. I had the bread with dips, fabulous, himself had seafood chowder, fairly good. Both had steaks and they were cooked to perfection. Too full for deserts, a good complaint I think! While the food was great, the service was dreadful. Our order was taken and then we were ignored totally. The staff really let the place down. I would eat here again, great value, lovely place, but the staff need to reflect how good the rest of the restaurant is.

We were a party of 15 for the early bird menu. There was no argentinian beer available, substitution Heiniken. There were 5 items to choose from the main course but they only had 2 fish meals available at 7pm. They offered a pasta substitute - not good enough. The rare steaks ordered were overcooked despite our stressing that it was important to have it cooked rare. The meal listed mash & mixed vegetable but veg consisted of a stick of carrot & parsnip each. Dessert had a selection of 3 items but one was not available - after the waiter took the order - no substitute offered. An added small scoop of ice cream with one dessert was considered 2 desserts. All in all - a very mediocre meal served with an indifferent attitute. Do not recommend. Will not return

The 2 of us went to Buenos Aires to use the vouchers we got on city deal. We had no expectations and therefore were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent, chairs comfortable, good atmosphere and south american music in the background. We ordered sauvignon blanc which was very tasty. We had calamares (a bit pricey for 6 rings, but good) and bread with dips for starters (delicious - recomend it). My partner ordered a fillet steak and I ordered T-bone. They both arrived cooked exactly to our liking (we're both quite fussy with steaks) accompanied by mash and side salad. I can honestly say that it was a long time since we had such perfect steaks so hats off to the chef! We will be back however we'll skip starters next time as we struggled to finish our mains. The prices are medium so be prepared to spend 100 euro for 2.

I have passed this place several times driving home from town, and the smell always made me think I need to go and try it out. My hubby and I were on our holidays from work and decided to take advantage and head into the city centre but within a certain budget. I was delighted to see that Buenos Aires Grill had a great value pre theatre menu (3 courses for €20). I'm quite a fussy and at times unadventureous eater but decided to try something new. I ordered a deep fried cheese starter-provoleta from what I remember. It was really tasty, and not greasy. My hubby had the prawn salad, the portion like mine was a good size and he enjoyed it. I ordered the striploin, asked for it medium well (didnt fancy the waitresses look of horror when I asked for well done/cremated), with no blood and it was cooked to perfection. My hubby had the Aregntinian sausage- their version of bangers and mash, but he found it very tasty, we washed this down with a fantastic bottle of malbec. Thankfully we still had room for dessert, I opted for the warm chocolate lava (yum, not too heavy) and hubby had the crepe. Overall it was a lovely experience, very relaxing, the service was fantastic, and we will definitely be going back.

Went early on a Thursday with a friend. We were the only customers in there when we arrived, which was good for a chat and the place was full when we were leaving about 7.30. Had the 2 courses for €16.95, so very good value. Decided to be a bit adventurous and got the Argentinian sausage for my main - really good comfort food as served with creamy mash and glazed veg. The Pinot Grigio was really nice as well, went down well! Good spot for a cheap and cheerful night, although the set menu is small, so you would probably need to move onto the a la carte if you became a regular.

Went there in the middle of the week with my girlfriend for little treat. I think it was 16.95 for two courses which was great value. Place bit emptish, but we didn't mind as were happy to have some comfort conversation. Had a lovely rybeye. Would recommend.

Went here on a friday evening, just myself and my boyfriend. i had purchased a voucher on city deal to try it out and i was not disappointed. Neither of us had starters as we were not hungry enough, but im glad we didnt as the main meal was more than satisfying! I had the rib eye steak which was delicious and my boyfriend had the sirloin also lovely! There was a large party booked in for that night so im glad we arrive just before them as service did slow a little once they arrived (we were about 10 mins waiting for our bill after we asked for it) Was decent value for money and i would certainly try it again!

Went here on a Tuesday night. It was actually relatively busy for 7.30 on a Tuesday which I took as a good sign. Got Beef pastries to start. Very nice. quite spicy. I got the 10Oz fillet for my main. It was quite tender but probably could have been cooked a little closer to my specification of Medium. was just slightly over done for my tastes. My Girlfirend got the TUna steak and she said it was perfect. I would go back although it is probably a little pricey considering steaks i have had elsewhere

I went here with my boyfriend and ordered from the pre-theatre menu. To start i got the spinach and cheese pastry which was quite nice. Main was a fillet of hack on a bed of mash potatoe, seasonal vegtables and a white wine sauce. Very scrummy. For desert i chose the chocolate devils cake. A perfectly cooked chocolate fondont with fresh vanilla cream. Very rich but for a chocolate fan it hit the spot. The food in general was not amazing but i liked it and it was good. The staff were quite good and the overall atmosphere was nice. We got a good people watching seat at one of the larger windows. The wine was a nice sweet pinot grigio which went nicely with the warm evening. Very good value for what we got (20 euro for 3 courses) and it runs all night during their quiet days. I'd go back for a casual bite if i was in that end of town. Good place for a date or couples and in a good location. A quiet area but just 5 minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of town.

Came here but was in a hurry. Kinda in and out in the space of 30 minutes or so. Had 2 courses from the early bird menu. Thought it was lovely and can't wait to go back when I have more time. Looking forward to trying their sea food and steaks.

If you like steak, then this is a great place to go. Although a bit pricey when compared to other offers that are available, the platter for 2 is great value and you will leave the place stuffed. It was quiet when we were there (6pm) so lacked a little in atmosphere, but was starting to fill up when we were leaving. Will defo go back to fill up on meat!!

Myself and my GF visited Buenos Aires Grill Friday night I have to say it was exceptional. This restaurant is a must for any steak lovers. Although packed it was very comfortable and we got pretty good service. We both started with the Onion and Garlic soup which was fantastic. Then we both went for the fillet steaks. The steaks were cooked to perfection and I can honestly say it is one of if not the best steak I have had. The staff were friendly without been in your face. Great experience and the best steaks around. We will be back soon.

Came here with a few friends and was not disappointed. Steaks were cooked to perfection and really really tasty. Service was great. We all had the calamare to start. Initially we thought the portions were quite small but when it came to the main we were glad we weren't too full! Lovely veg came with the steak that was full of flavour. Nice affordable wine list. Desserts were so-so however the brilliance of the steaks overshadowed this! All in all a great night and will definitely be back!

Had lunch in here having been very impressed with the food when I was there for dinner. Food was excellent as usual. I had the sausages and was very tasty beef sausies with some great beef. Everyone seemed to be going for the argentinian chicken curry so I think i will plump for this next time Price is 13 for 2 courses which is higher than advertised here and menu slightly changed

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and was delighted to avail of a special offer of €20 for €40 through boards.ie. While the steaks were really good, my main course of Argentinian fish stew was very salty (weird as there was no smoked fish in it at all) and I felt that portion sizes overall were a bit on the small side. Starters:calamari (very tender!) chowder (1/2 a cup, very small portion) and prawns were good but nothing special and desserts: chocolate lava (average) , Banoffi Pie (good), ice cream (good) The staff is friendly and efficient, but I don't think I will be back and would only recommend it for somebody who particularly likes steak as they definitely know how to do that well. Bit expensive as well.

jammed packed when we arrived, though they still managed to find a table for our group. starters are a little bit old fashioned, they all look the same, though they all taste different, hot hostess helped alot, floor staff way to easy going, though in there defence the place was heaving, large party to our left were having a good time, having said that, we were asked if we could wait 5 more mins for our mains, as the chef would prefere to get them right, honesty in a dublin restuarant is rare right now, as was my steak, cooked perfectly, all table agreed on this, best value on true blood meat in dublin!!

I had a meal at this restaurant this evening and cannot fault one thing! For a mid-week evening meal, the atmosphere was very pleasant and the pre-theatre menu great value. The staff were so friendly, most from BA itself. After noticing my mum was a bit chilly and turned up the heat, the manager then came and spent time chatting to us, from which the topic of tuna steaks came up. As neither myself or my parents had tried it, he asked the chef to cook us a taster on the house!!! After which the chef came and sat with us. The food was out of this world and the staff and service was the best I've had in a very long time. Full marks!!!

I have been here a few times, and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. Most recently was last month when my partner and I took advantage of the Living Social dela they offered (spend 15 euro and get 30 euro worth of food and drink). With two of these I tought our meal would be covered, but had not accounted for how expensive the food was. We ordered the argentinian pastries to share, which were delicious as our starter, then both had steaks for mains. We experimented with the sauces and the waitress was great and brought us a selection to try with our food. We both ordered medium rare, and although they were good quality, mine was so charred that it spoilt the taste of the beef. The service was great, and teh waitress we had was quick to recommend dishes and wines. We finished with a death by chocolate dish that was devine. I will go again, however, the early bird menu seems the way to go, and i will be more specific about how my steak is cooked. Overall though, a good evening.

I had eaten here before and enjoyed the pre theatre menu. The restaurant is on a corner site with windows to the front and side, which gives a good chance of a window table. When we visited on the 19th January there was a crowd in, which made for a good atmosphere. We were greeted and served by a waitress who had a kind of a long suffering air about her. It took a lot of effort to coax a smile which took the good out of the visit to start. As we were using a voucher we ate a la carte. The tempura prawns were great, but a long enough wait for them. The large rib eye steak was off so my companion settled for the T Bone, which he said was OK. I had the striploin, 12 oz, which was not great. It was a bit gristly and while ordered medium rare was actually rare. The a la carte is expensive but I have enjoyed the pre theatre here before. Overall disappointing. If trying it out recommend you stick to the pre theatre menu.

I booked the Buenos Aires Grill for my fiancée’s birthday on the recommendation of a colleague & we were delighted with our meal here. It was a rainy Tuesday evening and the place was around one third full, however there was a pleasant & quiet ambience with dimmed lighting & nice Spanish guitar music playing. As I had booked in advance we were promptly shown to our table by a friendly waitress who looked after us all evening. We shared our starters of beef empanadas & bread selection with dips, very tasty indeed. The beef in the empanadas was high quality, the pastry light & not too filling. The 3 different breads were lovely (nice crunchy crusts), as were the dips. I’m not a fan of pesto but the pesto dip was delicious. For our mains we both opted for 10oz fillet steak (medium) served with chunky fries & veg, and also a side order of sautéed onions. I can honestly say I have never had a better cut of fillet steak. It was cooked to perfection (flame grilled, not fried) and the smokey flavour from the grill was a surprise bonus. I initially thought the portion of fries was a bit small, but by the time I got through my steak I could barely finish my chips & veg. When we were finished our main our waitress arrived with a beautifully decorated slice of Baileys cheesecake complete with candle and trimmings (pre arranged of course!). She even sang happy birthday (I joined in as the place was a bit quiet!) to my astonished fiancée. The cheesecake was surprisingly light (we were both stuffed at this point) and was the perfect finish to a very satisfying meal. All in all, a great place to eat, especially for steak lovers. Service was efficient & pleasant. We will definitely be back!

Friendly service, a nice welcome, a bit hard to find though! However, once you get there you will have a choice of some of the most delicious steaks available in Ireland. Only downside is the loos are not great, but the steaks are amazing!

Visited with a big group of friends. We had the pleasure of being joined by the Argentinian Rugby squad so the place was full and has a good atmosphere. The staff were attentive even under pressure and the early bird (which runs Mon to Thurs all night) was excellent value at 2 courses for 20 euro. I'm not a big steak person but those who ordered it loved theirs. I had cajun chicken which was also excellent. The empanadas were a bit disappointing but the pancake desert was to die for as were the mojitos. All in all good spot for a gang and a slab of meat!

We had a family meal here, taking advantage of the fantastic pre-theatre menu. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door - friendly but unobtrusive. The food was delicious - empanadas all round for starters, with both vegetarian and meat options chosen. The steaks for main were cooked to perfection and the Argentinian sausage was definately something that would be chosen again. Pancakes for dessert rounded off the night perfectly!

I had dined here one evening shortly after it opened and found it to be very good considering it was relatively new, mussels to start were superb and as expected the steak was excellent, nice range of wines to compliment steak also. I returned here last Sunday to try the sunday lunch, stuck to the old reliables of what I had before only this time followed up with a dessert and must say it was even better than I remember. Some of dining companions tried the lunch value menu, this involves starter, main and dessert for 20 euro, starters were beef empanadas which I was told were very tasty and full of meat which was followed by roast beef dinner which looked delicious and was assured it tasted so! the dining room is very tastefully decorated however as it was a sunday it was a little sombre although there were many other diners there but for that deal I believe it would be heard to beat in Dublin. Having said that I would definitely still come back here at night and order from the ala carte purely for the steak and wine and a little more of an atmosphere, could not be faulted

We both had the empanadas(1 veggie and 1 meat) for starters which were pretty good Then we had main, i went for the 10 oz fillet which was cooked very well. Nicel medium rare. Great flavoured veg accompanied that My girlfriend had the "Halloumi Cheese, Aubergine, Red Pepper & Red Onion Bruschetta" Turns out the bruschetta is a mistranslatin and she got a kebab. We question this and was explained by pleasant staff. Just as we were finishing our mains. Out was brought a bruschetta. This was a gret dish and i think if the sized it down would be an amazing starter as the topping on the bruschetta was perfectly seasoned. As a result no room for dessert. Pretty good and reasonably priced bottle of Malbec too Only complaint would be lack on lock on bathroom door

Went here with 7 other mates for a meal out. We knew what we were going for: Steaks!! and on this front we were not disappointed. Between us we had everything from the 8oz fillet to the 20oz T-bone. Everyone was more than satisfied with their choice. As mentioned in another review they cook'em rare. Ask for it well done and it will come out medium (as it should be in my opinion but if you really don't like it pink I'd suggest you make it known). If I were to go again I would skip the starters and desert and just splash out on the steak (maybe split one of the meals for 2). Apart from the food the staff were very helpful and attentive despite a busy evening and the the atmosphere was a good mix of welcoming and relaxed.

I booked a table through menu pages and arrived a little too early but was able to sit at the bar and order from the wine list while my partner arrived. Wine list was nice and house wine we chose which was a french merlot was reasonably priced at 19.95 and very well suited to the dinner for two that we ordered. It was a mixed grill dish for two for 45 euro and the waitress or kitchen had no problem cutting the 12oz steak in two and cooking it two different ways for us with two different sauces. Steak was the best Ive had in ages and was perfectly cooked. The rest of the grill was good as well with grilled black pudding, sausage, cheese, pineapple, mushroom, peppers and a side of thick cut chips and roasted vegetable. No room for dessert but cappuchino and tea reasonably priced. Well worth a visit for a Saturday night but I would definitely recommend booking as you might not get a table otherwise

Our second visit to buenos aires grill and it is still a favourite. Although starters were a disappointment, we shared the spinach and cheese empanadas, which had a bit too much pastry and not enough filling. However you really go for the steaks - I opted for the 8oz fillet while my partner had the 20oz t-bone both delicious but be warned, they cook them rather rare. All washed down with a bottle of Argentinian red. An enjoyable meal but rather pricey.

4 off us visited it at about 7pm on Friday. It was quiet then but they still managed to get us a table. It did fill up a bit more later but was not full when we left. The impression I got from the 3 staff standing there was that they did not really want us. 2 of us ordered the fillet steaks and the other 2 the rib eye steaks. My fillet steak was done perfect and tasted very nice as did the other fillet steak. The 2 that got the rib eye steaks were not as impressed, they thought they could have cooked as good at home. They came with hand cut chunky chips, 8 in total, so we had to order more. I had plenty of space or a desert, baileys cheescake, which was the same as any baileys cheescake anywhere else but tasted very nice. Don't go if you are too hungry. Not the cheapest for what you get.

I was again in Dublin last weekend. I went to the restaurant again. We went at 19:00, early enough and very relaxing atmosphere, just what we like. I ordered the Seafood Chowder and my friend the Mussels. Both of them were very tasty. We wine was exquisite, a Pinot Rose Rosato . For mains I ordered the grilled tuna and my friend striploin steak. The Coriander sauce in the Tuna steak was really nice. My friend asked for a pepper souce. I also asked a side salad but I didn’t like the dressing. I asked the waitress for a salad only with a bit of balsamic vinegar and she replaced it right away. Desserts: Well I asked the manager who was passing by , which dessert he would recommend. He suggested the Pancakes with Dulce de leche. I must say, it was nice, I couldn’t finish it though but my friend was very willing to help. When we were leaving the place started to be busy and it took a while to pay the bill, which great value I should say.

Came here with a friend on a Monday night to avail of the pre theatre offer. The place was dead and lacking any atmosphere. The waitress was efficient but could have upped the atmosphere by being a bit livelier. I got the calamari and the pasta of the day. Calamari was ok but needed more sauce. 3 little blobs on the plate for decoration was a bit ridiculous. The pasta was extremely bland. But my friend ordered the prawn cocktail and fish of the day. Both of which were delicious. Verdict: food is a bit hit or miss. But good value so I will most likely try it again!

The food is excellent. Service was a bit hit and miss and I got a different dessert than ordered but as we were in a hurry I ate the one provided. We arrived in at 5pm, which was opening time, restaurant was quite, presuming all staff hadn't arrived when we sat down. Would defniitely eat here again for the food but am not sure if the atmosphere would improve later in the night.

Visited last night and had great expectations. The restaurant is well locted and has a bright, spacious room. I had the marinated palm and serrano ham salad, which was reccommended to me by the waitress, and what a disappointment! the salad was covered in mayo and everithing tasted like it, and was extremely heavy as a result, what a waste of good serrano ham... For my rib-eye steak (which was average, but good value @ €21) I ordered a glass of argentinian malbec (priced @ €9.25!) which was totally oxidised for being open since donkey years. The wine was promptly replaced but in my opinion was not worth the money, and I cannot stop thinking that I was given a cheaper wine instead for some reason. I'll give it another go one day, maybe to try their mixed grill platter.

This was our 2nd time to visit, for my other halves birthday and we left there feeling disappointed. In some ways we love it because the food really is very very good- steaks amazing, empenadas amazing, fish and vegetarian dishes all very impressive but the service is really quite bad. The prices on a la carte are averagely expensive which you wouldnt mind paying because the food is great but you expect a certain standard of service which doesnt deliver. Although friendly, staff are slow for condiments, water, ordering etc, wine service is lacking in knowledge and pouring is lazy. Staff did not check back on our meals and waiters simply didnt know what they were doing (definate lack in communication, forsight and training). Would love if we could just get a take away instead of being subjected to poor service.

I went here with my BF for the early bird one night after work as we had heard great things about the place, The menu prices for the early bird seemed like great value however we were both disappointed with the food we got. The service was slow even though the place was only half full. Perhaps if we had ordered off the al a carte we might have better things to say about the place but won't be rushing back.

Went here with my family, and the other halves for a birthday dinner. I was really looking forward to it, and have to say, that aside from some mistakes in the service - uneven pouring of wine, delays in getting condiments and water the restaurant was an excellent place to celebrate. The food was expensive, but no more so than steaks in other restaurants and the standard was excellent. Split one of the platters with my boyfriend and it was amazing, there was so much food - could easily have dodged the starter and still been stuffed. Would definately recommend it to a friend!!

Our 1st visit on a busy Saturday evening along with my Sister and Bro-in Law. The place was really busy with a nice atmosphere. Mr. Boop opted to try their beef in pastry as a starter. Sis and I loved it as (sorry, but it tasted just like an old fashiioned batter burger). Mr. Boop could take or leave and Bro-in-Law hated it. He chose the fish cakes but said they were lacking in any real flavour. Both couples chose the Striploin platters for 2. Steak, chicken, sausage, ribs, black pudding, chips and veg. Loads to share and really annnoyed could not finish it as it was v. tasty. The house red v. nice and the boys tried the "local" beer. My only complaint was that when out for a meal we usually have at least 2 bottles of sparkling water to share but their brand "Vichy Catalan" a Spanish make, tasted totally horrible. It was salty and tasted like "Alka Seltzer" or "Solpadeine". Most of the bottle was left on the table. All in all a v. nice meal and will visit again. But would like a choice of different brand of water.

I had the pleasure of dining here with my boyfriend recently and thought the service and the food was of a very high standard. I ordered salmon for my main and my boyfriend ordered the T-bone steak; as he said it was the largest! I thought the salmon was extremely tasty but my boyfriend said he'd go for the strip line steak the next time as there was too much fat on the T-bone but was still really nice. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was friendly. We spent 3 hours over our food and we didnt feel like were being rushed out at all, which is really great for a Saturday night. The value for food is quiet good so would therefore love to go back again.

Myself and my partner have been eager to visit Buenos Aires Grill for some time now and I am happy to say it was well worth the wait. This restaurant is a must visit for any steak lover. Our steaks were chargrilled to perfection and I can honestly say it is one of the best steaks I have ever consumed. The house white was recommended by friendly staff and while very nice was a little pricey for the glass received. The staff and management were friendly and attentive without been in your face and made our experience enjoyable. Our overall experience was extremely positive and I would recommend this establishment highly. If you really wish to treat yourself or others, then check out Buenos Aires Grill.

Dropped in for lunch with a few friends. We arrived after 2pm, so the place was fairly quiet. Service was friendly and casual, one minor mishap with the wine (the very drinkable house Malbec) left all concerned highly amused. Delicious beef empenadas and some pretty ordinary calamari to start, followed by a perfectly cooked and extremely tender sirloin for main. I wish I'd remembered to order the pepper sauce on the side (and not all over my steak) - but other than that I was extremely happy. The owner made it clear we were welcome to loiter as long as we liked, so a few Argentinian beers rounded off the afternoon. Will be going back to check out the dinner menu.

Went here for an early bird with a few colleagues from work. We only work around the corner from it and meant to go there for ages. We were greeted by their friendly staff even though we were 30 minutes late. The wine they suggested for us was perfect and our meal was delicious. We ordered from their early bird menu. The place was quiet but it was a Wed night. Will definately be back again

Went here for my birthday in April. Food was fantastic.... i'm not a big steak eater but the fillet steak was to die for. Every single person at my table enjoyed their food some each wanted seconds. Staff were a bit off at times ( to be expected though as they were so busy) The only fault i had was how close all the tables were. At one stage i felt like i was sitting with the table next to me. Way too many tables for the floor space. We were seated right besde the entrance walk way and the bar which to me was not great. However you could not fault the food at all.

The best steak I have ever had… Me and my boyfriend went out for a dinner in Buenos Aires on Saturday night. I am not a huge fan of steak but seeing the restaurant from outside I decided to try it out. The place is lovely inside, its very specious and clean, you don’t get that feeling that you are being squashed and you do actually have some privacy which was great. The service was ok, they were very busy and at times it was hard to grab staff’s attention. Also, the music was a bit too loud and there was loads of noise created by one of the waiters who was constantly dropping cutlery on the floor (it was more funny to watch than annoying and felt very sorry for that person). There was some good time between our meals which I really enjoyed as I had a chance for the food to settle and enjoy the dessert too! But the steak… it was the best steak I have ever had!!! It was prepared perfectly and served beautifully with crushed potatoes and veg, just delicious!! The food is top class and for that reason I will definitely go back. Also for the capacity and availability it’s a good place to go out with a group of friends as well as romantic dinner for two.

Has been added to my own top three list of favourite restaurants in Dublin. Have been here a few times and it never disappoints, its a great place to go for a special occasion. The food is top quality, they do the most amazing muscles and there are plenty of other mouth watering choices on the menu. I haven't eaten off the early bird menu yet but it seems like fantastic value and for the quality of food you are getting the a la carte menu is very reasonable too. The service has always been good and they have a guy playing Spanish guitar some nights which gives it a fantastic athmophere.

Nice decor, good steak, nice wine. Unprofessional and miserable service staff. Jarring background music. And the most pathetic thing of all they charged for bread. Wouldn't recommend, wouldn't go back and wouldn't say there long for this world.

Ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. First thing to note is that the restaurant was very cold (although to be fair I did not raise this with staff). It was very empty (it was a Tuesday) and seemed a little desolate. The service was ok if a bit haphazard. The food was average at best and quite expensive (we ate off the regular menu but the early bird does look like good value). One of the best things about Argentina is how tasty the steak is. The steak here is well cooked but lacking any flavour. Excellent wine though and reasonably priced.

I have visited here a few times, the food i have to say is always impeceable, great attention to detail and very well presented. the place can be very quiet before 6pm and it tends to livin up after 7 or 8pm. But for value go for the early bird or pre theatre menu as full prices are quite expensive for the amount you get.for mains they do a variety of steaks cooked to your preference and the salmon is also another delicious dish worth trying. for dessert try the chocolate foudant, you'll be temped to ask for 2nds or 3rds. Service is generally good everytime i've been there,if it is very quiet though you might get the feeling that the waiters are standing around waiting or watching you to finish. if you feel like a fancy meal but dont want to be charged an arm and a leg, defo try this place for the earlybird, grt value

Table of 12 of us had dinner here last night. Mixture of Argentinians, Spanish and Irish People. Food & wine were Fantastic...no real complaints and came out at a timely manner. When we got the bill, my friend went up to your bar counter to talk to one of the waitresses regarding the service charge. She just had a query about it but it got sorted and we payed the bill. While we were leaving i overheard the waitress who was dealing with our table say to some waiters and a man who was sitting down and seemed to be a supervisor that we had a query about the service charge and it didn't matter anyway because we didn't speak English. I actually taught this was quite rude especially whilst we were leaving and she presumably taught we could not understand her. I went back in because i was so annoyed and told her that i overheard her. I'ts a shame because i like this restaurant but will not be returning seen that the staff are unable to keep their mouths shut until customers leave the restaurant.

Had a dinner for two with my girlfriend on Valentine's weekend here. We both ordered off the Valentines menu which had some extras such as glass of pink champane and some chocolates with dessert. I had a starter of prawns in a batter in a chilli sauce and a steak for my mains. It being an argentian restaurant, I was hoping that the steak would be better and that the meat would be sourced from argentina (good argentian restaurants in london do this). My girflriend ordered the rack of lamb which was better tasting. Overall, i was a little dissappointed with the food as it is not cheap. Service was very good, no complaints. I did not particularly like the interior of the restaurant, it was not very intimate and had very little attachment to Argentina if that makes any sense. To conclude, it was okay, I would only go back to order off the pre-theatre which looked good value.

We went there as a group of 14, staff were very friendly, thougfh service was a little slow. We all ordered from the set Xmas menu, which looked good. Wine and beer was expensive. We all ordered fillet steak for our entreé, a few medium rares appeared more like medium wells, dessert was lovely.

I had the pleasure to dine here last Saturday evening and have already recommended to others to try it out if they get the chance. The restaurant was semi busy when we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and brought to a lovely window table. All the staff were pleasant and the service very smooth considering the restaurant got very busy with a few large groups booked in. We order starters, I had the Empanadas De Carne which was ok, but a little bland, my partner had the King Crab Cocktail which was only ok also. Our Main courses on the other hand were a different story, I chose the Sea Bass and it was delicious with lovely creamy mash, my partners opted for the fillet steak which was beautiful and perfectly cooked. Overall we were very impressed and had a lovely evening, and I’m sure will be back for a second visit!

Had a lovely meal here last Saturday. It was snowing heavily but we got a nice warm welcome when we arrived. We shared the bread & dips starter which was plentiful & very tasty. Mains were fillet steak (for himself) & sea bass for me. Both were good but a side order of fries proved disappointing. They were dry & tasteless. Creme brulee was the better of the two desserts-the chocolate fudge cake was nothing special. Shop bought & served cold & un-accompanied by any thing except half a strawberry. We will return but not for a little while yet.

We went there for late lunch and as we both had time we did not rush ourselves. Neither did the staff. At one point we realized that we were the only people left and they closed and started preparing for the evening. However, we wanted to have coffee. We asked the staff if that's ok or maybe we have to leave. The waiter was very sincere, he told us we can stay as long as we want because it is money for them. So we stayed for coffee and dessert. The food was very nice and we had a nice table next to the window. The only disappointment was my husband's steak. He found it a little bit plain and after eating it said to the waiter it would be nice if they serve it with some spices or dip. The waiter told him that they do but in the evenings. That was strange but apart from that, the place is worth coming back to.

Went here late on a Wed evening. Barely a handful of people in the place. I had though the Service would've been a bit better given the lack of people. The food was average at best. I had a chicken dish and my friend had the steak. Neither of us were impressed. There was nothing "special" about the meal. and it's food that we could have gotten else where for less money with better service and atmosphere. Will I be going back... eh, no!

Little bit on the expensive side, but great for a special occassion. Went with the boyfriend, he raved about his mussels. I had the squid rings which were good. We both had steaks which were cooked perfectly. Big portions meant we were too stuffed for dessert! A little unatmospheric but that may be due to the fact we were stuck in the corner. Not perfect if you intend going for drinks afterwards as its a little out of the way, but overall we would rate this place.

Had lunch here today with 5 colleagues and it was fine. There's a different lunch menu which is reasonable priced i.e. under 9 for starters and most mains 10ish. My starter was fab, prawns in a very light batter, my main - chichen burger, was 'what it said on the packet' - a grilled breast - just a little too ordinary, as were all the mains. Steaks came with chips - full stop. I just expected a little more, perhaps a sauce on the side, liitle bit of salad etc wouldnt go a miss. Overall it's a lovely looking restaurant (dont sit near the fire espace window - it's a bit breezy) Service was very pleasant. Just none of the food had any wow factor thus I wouldnt see myself paying the evening dinner prices for ordinary food.

Had a meal her last night with my partner for a special occasion. Restaurant was very busy and somewhat noisy. We had starters of Fish Cakes and Calamari. The fish cakes had little or no fish taste to them and the calamari were rubbery. For main course I had steak and my partner had fish. The steak was OK maybe slightly undercooked and the fish (seabass) was tasteless. What really disappointed us was the service. The waitress did not explain the main courses are served with a choice of only rice or roasted potatoes only. We opted for roasted potatoes which had far too much parsley sprinkled on them. Maybe we caught them on a bad night?

Myself and a friend were just passing by and decided to pop in for a bite to eat, luckily we didnt need a reservation yet it was busy. This place is very pleasant with friendly staff and this is always a good sign and nice decor. We were both very happy with our food. The managements attitude was dissappointing. We felt like we couldn't savour the food as no sooner was the food on the table this memeber of senior staff was getting the staff to hurry us along and finish fast to get us out as soon as possible. i won't tolerate this a saturday night.. won't be back

Nothing to write home about. It is just an ok restaurant but it lacks Argentinean flavour. I was there with a friend on Thursday for dinner. We had a nice table and the place was very elegant, which is the best aspect of this restaurant. The food however is a different story. I ordered calamari as a starter and steak for mains. The starter was ridiculously tiny, 5 rings of thin squid mounted on a tower (gone in 2 seconds). The steak was very ordinary. I wouldn't expect Argentinean beef flown over the Atlantic but the steaks I buy and cook at home are a lot more tender and flavoursome. The service was good, no complaints there but the manager, even though impecably dressed, didn't interact with the customers all night. I believe that in a place like this his job is to get things running smoothly and to engage with the clientele, ensuring the customer is happy. We were never approached to see if we wanted or needed anything else or if the food was satisfactory. In brief, if you go to an Argentinean place you expect to get a bit of their culture through the food and the experience itself, but it's just like eating on any other ordinary restaurant. Your expectation is higher because of the reputation of their steaks but in this case it's a real let down.

i and two friends have just had lunch there today and the food and quality were excellent and the value for money was exceptional for the quality. i had the shrimps with pasta and it tasted great , beautiful shrimps although i would have preferred a couple more (there were 5 fair sized ones) , my two friends had the argentinian sausages with mash and gravy and were well satisified with the portions and the taste, the total bill for 3 with an empenada starter + couple of glasses of the excellent house red + an espresso was 48euro and this really is value for money. i had the empenadas on a previous visit and they were a bit dry for me, but this time they looked more moist inside and i tasted one of them and it was certainly different to the previous ones i have had i can definitely recommend the place and the staff were excellent as always

I was looking forward to visit Buenos Aires Grill for a long time, so was very excited to try it out one saturday night. Overall experience was reasonably good, however some areas of service as well as ambience could certainly be improved. Upon arrival we were left standing at the door ignored for about 5 minutes - not a very pleasant start of the night. The host seemed preoccupied with his phone conversation and the rest of the staff were not showing much attention eiter. The restaurant was very bright, therefore lacked intimacy and style. I would recommend it for a very casual lunch, not for an evening meal. The food tasted fine, but yet again lacked something special.

This place is worth checking out if you haven't already done so. It's a comfortable airy dining area without being too fussy. The staff can seem a little distracted at times but are generally friendly and pleasant. Last time we ate there we tried the steak and sea bass. The empanadas and crab cake were also tasty. They have a good variety of malbec and all the ones we have tried to date have been good with regard to taste and value.

5 of us went here for a meal. Great atmosphere because lots of people in that night, but it meant the staff were under pressure and understaffed. Everything was a little slow in terms of service but the food itself was delicious. We all got fillets and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would go back and give them another chance on service

Was really looking forward to visiting BA Grill having spent some time in Argentina. Was very dissappointed with the experience. Had to send my medium fillet steak back as it was completely cooked through - when the replacement arrived back, it totally raw. Empanadas were only ok - not as nice as the ones in Buenos Aires. They do, however, have some very nice Merlots from Mendoza. Overpriced steaks.

Prices are a little on the high side, but a reasonably nice experience none-the-less. The restaurant was fairly busy, so there was a nice atmosphere, although personally, I found the décor a little odd. Service was good; both friendly and efficient. Although we were in an Argentine grill, nobody among my group opted for a steak – chicken, pasta and sea bass were the three choices and, while none could be described as exceptional, all seemed to go down well. Desserts were quite original and very nicely presented. Overall, not an unpleasant experience, but quite an expensive one and I’d be reluctant to return if I knew I’d be paying the bill!

Nice but Expensive and... Had a midweek dinner there, the food was delicious and service was just amazing. We had Jamón Con Palmitos, Empanadas, Lamb Chops and Roast Duck. Everything was very well cooked and presented. Also, the Argentinan Funes (Cabernet Sauvignon) wine was a pleasant surprise. Now, the negative bits -- the area where the place is located isn't very nice, the menu is short and way overpriced. Will definitely recommend it (if you can afford it) and will definitely go there again (if someone else is paying)

Went here with my wife for her birthday. Food not bad but nothing to rave about, we had fish cakes for starters and rib eye stake for main course. The starter was certainly cooked a long time before they arrived on our table and was a bit tasteless, stake just ok but not the best we have ever had. Service was poor, had to ask for water 3 times, our waiter had an attitude and not a bit friendly. Our bill came to 110 euro for both of us with wine, which, considering the food and service was not great value. Won’t be back.

the food here is amazing!we were sat close to the kitchen, it was a warm evening outside so we thought this would be uncomfortable, but the breeze created by all the staff flying by helped!! Lots of staff working so if you are on the main floor there is a lot of traffic moving past. I think being sitted in the higher area would be better. ABSOLUTELY NO complaints about the food it was amazing, as was the choice of wine. Overall enjoyable evening except from the crowding.

Had a nice meal but there was nothing special. In fact was disappointed with main course which was advertised as Seabass with lemon butter sauce, when in fact what came was seabass covered in a cream sauce ( do not like) accompanied by plain white rice. The rice seemed strange as there wasn't enough sauce to warrant rice and the flavour was just ok of it all. Starters were fine, his steak was ok however have to say the dessert was amazing and the dessert menu in its laminate plastic with no descriptions does not look appetizing but was one of the best desserts ever had. Overall the meal was fine but just would not make me rush back

I'd heard people rave about this place to i had to try it. The reception when you walk into the place is deadly. Mine host is brilliant - a rather imposing character, but adds to the feel of the palce wonderfully. The service was excellent, very attentive, but not overbearing. I had the crab cakes to start, which were lovely, but my mates had the chowder and they were dissappointed. I went for the steak for main, well you had to, it's an Argentinean steak house. It was just OK - a little too fatty for me. The wine was delicious and the bill blew us away - such amazing value. I think i was just unlucky with the steak, so i will give this place another go.

First visit to this restaurant..Atmosphere was brilliant, food was just delicious, my firends let me sample their fish as I had the fillet steak, everything was a taste sensation. We finished our dinner with some delicious cocktails. The only complaint would be the owner (I think thats who he was) could smile a bit more, we were trying to make him laugh but it didnt work! He looked very very serious all night! Overall a great restaurant, will definately be back.

went to this restaurant to remind myself of the fabolous meat you get in Argentina adn was not dissapointed. We went for the early bird menu and would rank it as one of the best value early bird menus in the city. Empanadas de carne for starters were ok but not as full of flavour as the ones you get when in Argentina. The sirloin steak was delicious and the chimmi churri pesto we asked to go with it was also excellent. the dessert of choclate lava cake was exceptional. all this for €23 - i recommend it to everyone. we also enjoyed an excellent malbec at a very reasonable €22. Excellent food and will return again for the early bird and for the full menu to try the fillet steak which i am sure is one of the best in the city.

I spent six weeks travelling around Argentina and loved the food. this restaurant didn't really live up to my expectations so I was surprised to hear the owner is famed for his authenticity. Food was fine, but as I said, it wasn't what I'd call authentic. Argentine steaks are famous, but I've had better steaks in Dublin and the empanadas were a major disappointment. In Argentina, they have a huge choice of fillings for these little pastries and these ones were like something from a supermarket frozen food section. We were here for lunch, so the prices were fair and it's popular with the local offices judging by the tables packed with men in shirts and ties.

Myself and my Husband went to this restaurant to celebrate our 3rd Wedding Anniversary and we really enjoyed it. Although a little quiet as would be expected for a Wednesday evening, the service was very good and the food really good also. We found it was very good value for money even though we chose a more expensive bottle of wine. Overall a really enjoyable night and would go back there maybe on the weekend.

I visited here when my parents came to Dublin to visit. I was a little disappointed by the limited menu we had but I'm an indecisive person and maybe it was just what I needed! Everything we had was cooked to perfection and there was copious amounts of everything. The servers were polite and efficient and the managers were eager to ensure we were enjoying our meal. We will definitely be returning.

I was taken to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday, (and our 5th year anniversary) on a Friday evening. I must say, the service was well beyond my expectations!! We were taken to a very well placed table by the window. The waiting staff were extremely accommodating and polite. The food was well presented although I wasn't that impressed with my steak... which was disappointing. I have been to a couple of Argentinean restaurants in Amsterdam and the steaks there are delicious!! The provision of a birthday cake with candles and my face on, and the staff singing was a lovely touch!! I would go again but will perhaps try something different on the menu. Very good value too!!! By the way, my partner was extremely impressed too...considering he chose the restaurant!!!

Having been to Buenos Aires and such restaurants as La Estancia I had high hopes for this new establishment. We were seated near the kitchen and got to witness the real goings on of a busy restaurant. One of the waiters looked like it was his first day. If it was he was putting in a very poor shift. He was as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike and should have been put in the kitchen out of the way. The chef had to constantly shout 'SERVICE' to get food that was then hot to the table in the same state. The manager, though trying to keep everything ticking over, was actually creating more problems than he was serving. Our waitress had the personality of a candle and was very reluctant to engage with any of those she was serving or even crack a smile. The food itself was average! Both of us ordered the lomo of beef and it was well cooked but to be honest the whole meal lacked any real inspiration. From where I was sitting the restaurant gave off the impression of 'organised chaos'!! That aside, it was very busy but I would think twice about going back again!

This is a classy, upmarket steakhouse. The menu is limited, but what they do, they do well. Steak was excellent - really tasty and done as ordered. The pepper sauce wasn't great, but the steak was so flavourful it was unnecessary anyway. My partner's duck was also really good. Service was pleasant and accurate.

Visited there on a busy Friday night, and was very happy leaving. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portions. The staff were pleasant and service was very efficient. Only complaint was that there was a large party sitting close to us and they were very noisy, but the restaurant cannot be held responsible for that. Just the luck of the draw. Will definately be visiting there again.

Excellent find. Restaurant itself is very nice nice relaxed atmosphere. Menu can be a pit pricey as expected for a steakhouse but they do an excellent early bird. 3 courses for €23! Steak was delicious and good choice of sauses. Found the staff very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Don't bother; they ruin steaks, awful pepper-sauce, mish-mash of veg side-dish. The restaurant puts you in mind of of a budget hotel. Over-priced

The "Buenos Aires Grill", I'm afraid, is an appalling restaurant, primarily on account of the absolutely diabolical service. From the moment our party of 7 arrived, our various servers demonstrated an astounding level of ineptitude. For a start, drinks orders were mixed up (or simply not fortchoming at all), and when the wine finally arrived the oversized wine glasses were crudely filled to the brim (basically a third of a bottle wine per glass). This inability to process and execute simple drink orders was repeated with the food - which took over 90 mins to arrive. Steaks were not cooked as requested, ordered sides never appeared, and our requests for the promised pepper sauce with the steaks was ignored. Throughout the meal the waiters were unapologetic and borderline rude. It was frankly embarrasing. I should point out too that it wasn't like the restaurant was understaffed. There was plenty of staff go around, and there even appeared to be not one but two hapless managers directing traffic, as it were. The whole thing was a shambles. As for the food, it was fine, at best. I suppose being made to wait almost 2 hours for your mains means you are at least ravenous when it arrives. ("Hunger is the best sauce" is actually most likely the restaurant's motto, given their refusal to serve sauces.) The sides of potatoes, though, were very greasy and lukewarm and the chips would not have been out of place at a Longford chipper. Finally, I do not understand these other reviews applauding the "reasonable" prices. The prices are not reasonable. It is around €30 a steak. Fair enough, if the food is of excellent quality and the service of a commensurate standard, but that certainly wasn't the case. In short, this is a shoddily-run and mismanaged restaurant serving average food at high prices. I'd advise strongly against.

I also had lunch here and it was amazing. They have got this place absolutely correct in every way possible. The service, staff, decor, ambiance and most of all, value for money is exceptional. Really don't know what the last reviewer means as the food was delicious. They must have been carrying a cold if they could not taste this food. I also had the carbonara and the texture was perfect with just enough sauce. everyones entitled to thier opinion, but you either know food or you don't eh!!! There is no free glass of wine as the owner/manager told me that the offer ran until the end of March, but no big deal as the overall bill for 3 of us was to little as far as we were concerned. soemthing you don't get in many a good place these days. We will be going again and with a bigger group for dinner and already looking forward to it.

Looking forward to a lingering lunch today after reading a review in last weekend's paper and was sorely disappointed. Himself had tempura prawns (4) with a wee sald that were greasy and heavy in a way temepura was never meant to be followed by Argentina Sausages which were fine. The fish special was gone by Half one and no other fish dish other than more prawns so opted for the carbonera whcih was stodgy tastless, glupped together , over cooked pasta. I could not eat it. 8.95 is only good valuue for money if it's palatable. I thought they might redeem themselves with the coconut tart but alas it came freezing cold out of a fridge and was obviously brought in and not home baked . So another 6 quid down the tubes. We were never offered the free glass of wine with lunchl. The final nail in the coffin for me came when the bill arrived and I saw that two cappicinno's were 7. 80. Yes folks almost 4 euro each. No wonder they pass the food off so cheap. I am disgusted, disappointed and worst of all, I am still very hungry. I will never go back and surely cannot recommend this place to any of my foodie friends.

Had a tasty lunch here! The Argentinian salad has a great sweet and savoury combination - mangoes and pineapple wrestling with hearts of palm, olives and tomato. I've never had a salad quite like it...The seabass en croute was a touch flavourless, but the potatoes and salad in accompaniment made it good value for only 10 euro. This is the thing - I don't know what the evening dishes are like - a lot of grilled meat presumably - but the lunch menu could be a bit more "of Argentina." (There's a panini on the menu!) The place is definitely an exciting alternative to other rests I've been to though. Worth a visit.

Ate here for the first time on Saturday and were very impressed. Received a warm welcome on arrival. Given a very nice table inside the front window. Ordered warm bread and dips to share as a starter, which we both enjoyed. For main, we both had steak with different sauces and side dishes. Steaks were delicious and cooked well. We couldn’t manage a dessert in the end, as portions were quite large. Booked a table for 7.30 and the place was hopping by the time we left but were put under no pressure to leave. Will go again.

Had high expectations about this restaurant but I have been overall disappointed. Not by the food that was really tasty. We shared warm bread & dips for starters. For the main we had the "parillada delux" with plenty of red meat, all was very nice & cooked to perfection (the rpice is over 60 euros though & not 55 as indicated on this menu). The service however was a little strange. It seemed like the manager/owner? of the place & his fellow colleague kept ordering the waitress around & while she was trying to take our order, he took over & asked her to look after other customers. He was making obvious efforts to be friendly but he never asked which side dish or sauce we wanted with the meat. He brought the salad in addition to the vegetables & potatoes when we asked for it though. Thankfully the pepper sauce was the one we wanted. It looked like the manager/owner was trying to overdo it for some reason when we were actually quite happy with the waitress. The atmosphere was not the best either, the place is a little too bright & cold. The wine (organic syrah) was very strong: a 14.5% sticker was placed on top the 15% alcohol content label on the bottle. Our heads were fairly sore the following day! I don't think we will be back, although the food was absolutely gorgeous & the portions quite big.

Spent a lot of time looking for a restaurant in Dublin with a good fillet steak and came across Buenos Aires Grill. Six of us went and everyone really enjoyed it. I have previously been to Argentina so I had high expectations of the meat and I was not disappointed. The Bife de Lomo was cooked to perfection, not one bit of fat on it and a very decent size. The one let down was the side of potatoes which were kind of powdery. Shared 3 starters, the cocktail of king crab, empanadas and the crab cakes, all were delicious. Was excited about the raspberry cheese cake but was a bit let down as it was a frozen desert and didn’t have any fresh raspberries. Beer was good, wine was good, service was good, good atmosphere and got a fair well goodbye from the owner. Overall a great time and will definitely be back.

I like the idea of this place, good steak served in a good room with lots of extras. It nearly does what its supposed to. The beef is good but not great, mine was a little over done but I expect that in Ireland. The sides were kinda greasy and the wine was a bit expensive for todays environment. Also the location is wrong and would not be keen on returning to this location but in another spot I might.

When we heard about this place we knew we had to give it a try because Argentina would be well renowned for their beef. So we went with fairly high expectations. Fortunately we were not let down. All was good from the word go, with the modern setting comfortable and table arrangement. Although we all wanted the 20oz T-Bone, we still had to try the starters. All were good, from the healthy portion of mussels, pasties tasty and the calamari tender. The T-Bones were tender, and most were grilled the way we wanted them (one was slightly over cooked). The sauces were good. The potatoes were delicious and when we asked for more we were given a huge helping! We had a very good Argentinian Cabernet to accompany the meal at a very reasonable price. No deserts as we were quite full so espresso's to top it off. A great meal without a hefty bill.

Went here saturday night and was really impressed! There are few restaurants that really impress me! The minute you walk in you are made feel special with a sense of humour that makes it relaxing. The ambiance & decor make it special. We started with the seafood chowder which was excellent the best I tasted in Dublin. I then had the 20oz T-bone which was excellent but not as big as I had expected and my girlfriend had the fillet. The small side plate of vegatables were between two was meager at best and had to ask for and second side dish but I gues it is primarily a staek house. They have a good selections of wines. Overall I was really impressed and will return. I have already booked the early bird for next thursday, so will be interesting to compare if it is as good as the a la carte!

I booked a party of 8 of which 3 were from Argentina for a celebration and we had a fantastic night. The overall verdict was that the meat, while excellent in cut, just lacked the flavour of beef from Argentina and the empanadas were more Cornish than South American. Mind you we were being very critical here and the meal experience was outstanding. Full credit to our waiter whose courtesy was an example for many fine restaurants to behold. The wine list is almost fully Argentine and our Antis Malbec for under €30 a real stunner with the Steaks. Great place, really warm welcome and farewell on departure, I would really recommend this restaurant for a casual night out with friends.

I am meat lover and in Dublin is so many difficult to find a real good meat restaurant. I went to Buenos aires for lunch but we wanted the Dinner Menu... They ask for the cooking and the meat was just perfect! The atmosphere was great too and the service good enough. I really enjoyed my best meat-experience in Dublin. I'll recomend it :)

Busy and buzzing, the decor is comfortable, though the lighting a bit too bright. The menu is quite large offering meat and fish aplenty. Had a well balanced kir as an aperatif, with just the right amount of cassis. I started with oysters, nice and fresh, though only served with lemon wedges-a vinaigrette would have been nice-A had the asparagus which was judged very nice. As this an Argentinian style grill, we both went for the steak options-I had fillet and A had rib-eye, both cooked medium rare as ordered, both generous in size and very nicely tasting-you can have a variety of suaces/butters to go with these.. Sides included a tasty potato gratin and grilled veg. We finished with an all Irish cheeseboard which featured more obscure irish cheeses and was good, if a bit small for two to share. There is a pretty good selection of affordable wines, and is worth exploring the new world options. I would have scored higher, but the service was terrible-Plates whisked away even though our cutlery was in the "do not move" position-completely over attentive and so disturbing the flow of conversation-Disgracefully the wine was poured to a finish in one glass without any being offered to my dining partner-we felt we were being rushed and this left a sour taste overall

I was just looking around the internet and read the previous review of this restaurant. I also ate in the restaurant on Monday night. The food was great, really enjoyed the steak. really really liked it. And completely contrary to the previous reviewer i thought that the waitress was excellent. Note the term waitress, the restaurant was very busy with at least 8 tables and only one person to serve us all. Always with a smile and always nearby to see if we needed anything. So i say excellent service and i wish everytime i ate out that i had the same service. God bless the waitress :)

Brought the bf for dinner on monday. Our starters were gorgeous, soup of the day and empanadas de carne.. very recommendable!! was a bit late and didnt feel like stake so asked for the fricasse of king prawns, was nice. The bf asked for the sirloin stake and it was just brilliant!! desert was delicious as well. I liked the atmosphere of the place, was quite and nice, not very full as it was late on monday night but really really nice. Regarding the service i have some discrepancies. The guy that took my reservation on the phone was lovely, even though i asked for a very late reservation on a monday night he said 'we live for the customer so we will wait for you and stay as long as we need to' he rang me on the day to confirm and he also received us on the day with a very big smile on his face. Unfortunately can't say they same about the waitress which was arrogant and look as if her lips were glued to each other.. not a single smile during the whole experience!! Coz the bf was driving he couldnt drink, and therefore i couldnt chose a nice bottle of wine. Just had a glass of the house red and to my surprise it was a great wine!! Would defo repeat but for lunch, so i can enjoy the stake or even the parrillada!! and will bring a bunch of jokes with me see if i can make that waitress laugh a bit!!

This place is well worth a visit. We went there on a cold Tuesday night with every intention of tucking into steaks accompanied by red wine. However, we found that there were many interesting seafood dishes on offer too! The lobster bisque is extremely tasty and we could find no fault with the shrimps & scallops apart from the slighly bland creamy sauce. We'll have to go back and try the grill sometime!

A group of 12 of us came here on Fri night for my partner's birthday. Even for such a large group the service was great. It was the first time for most of the group to try Argentinian food so we had a lot of questions for the waitress but she was able to answer everything and explain each dish. She also recomended some wine which was a delicious accompanient with our dinner. Most people went for starters but on see how big the starters were i was glad i opted just for a main course. I had th sea bass which was delicious but i also tasted the steak which i will definitely be trying the next time we go. The decor of the resturant is cosy and intimate and this is firm becoming a favourite place of mine to eat out in Dublin. Location is great as its only a short stroll then to the heart of the city. I highly recomend this place.

This is a really top restaurant, and deserves every success. The winelist is absolutely excellent and really suits the grill cooking. We had a superb 2001 Cab Sauv from San Juan called Augusto, not cheap at 51 euro but worth it, very well worth it. One of the best bottles I have had, ever... The food is great, simple starters that complement the mains nicely. We (4 of us) shared mussels and calamari between us, both dishes were very good, and there was plenty for all. For mains we shared both parrilladas - which offer a selection of the best from the grill. This way you can have fillet steak and sirloin with sausages or sirloin with chicken and sausages. Both dishes some with potatoes and veg and are great value. The Sirloin was excellent, as was the fillet, both cooked rare, proper rare. The only criticism I would have is that the plates were not heated so the fillet steak in particular lost its heat very quickly, but I was happy to eat it cold! All in all, a real gem of a place - especially if you like your steak

seven of us went here just after new year. Will go again as it can only get better - not that it was that bad. This is the first Argentinian restaurant I had seen in Ireland and i was looking forward to it after having experiences some fun parilladas in other countries (inc Arg). So I had empanadas for a starter and shared a parrillada delux for main. i thought it was really good. the atmosphere was nice but a little sterile. Wine was good. Service was poor though - more badly trained rather than anything as the staff are really nice. For example we had only wineglasses on our table - no glasses for water. If you are looking for a meat feast it certainly is a place to go. It seems quite authentic too. It is a new place so I am excited to see what it become over the next 12 months. Will be back to find out.

Starters crabcake was cold in the middle. Pasties, nice but dry. Mains. Fillet Steak very good, the Sirloin good but not as good as the fillet. The choice of wine was very good, the price was also very reasonable.Avoid deserts, they had a similar look and taste to the frozen ones you get in a lot of Chinese or Indian restaurants. if i was to go back, I'd not bother with a starter or sweet. The cost was reasonable.

I went there on WED with my partner. The place is impresive, very nice, cosy and it has this virtual fireplace at the entrance that is great warm feeling, specially coming from the freezing wheather. We got a table in one of the mezzanine floors, great location, love it by the window. We ordered 2 empanadas, 1 sirloins and a 20oz T-bone steak. The empanadas were delicius and very simple. The steaks were very tender and well-done as I requested, the only thing the salads wasnt very abundant. We din't know which red wine to choose, so we ask the gentleman at the entrance (the host) he suggested 2 wines and he brought asmall sample of each to try. We picked the Vina Amalia Malbec. We didn't have desert, just coffee. The service was excellent, the the food as well and the overall experience very good. We will come back and try the other items in the menu.

What really really lets this place down is the service, the food is very good, the selection of argentinian wines is fantastic, and the deco is nice and modern with plenty of room in between tables. But they really need to work on their floor staff, we visited on a Monday evening, there were at least 5 waitresses (counting 2 girls behind the bar) but they didnt seem to know what they were doing, just hoovering around us like robots, we didn't see a single smile in the almost two hours we were there, when visiting a southamerican restaurant you expect to find some of the charming of their people but certainly you are not going to find it on this place. A piece of advice, change your staff and you will have a winner!!!

Went to Buenos Aires Grill on New Years Eve in a party of 8 and we had a great time. This was our third visit in the same group and we are still impressed. The food is excellent and they really know how to cook steaks. The service is a little lax, but on the other hand they are not in your face constantly. I would recommend it highly for meateaters.

Went there for our Xmas party a couple of days back. The service wasn't great but we were quite a large table. I had the calamari for starter which were very tasty but I wasn't impressed with the other starters. We all ordered steak for our mains and they got the whole order wrong but not only that but a few steaks came back burnt, quite literally! we sent them back and they came back wrong again! so we were very disappointed at that stage. The desserts weren't great either. Overall I would recommend it for the quality of the steak and the price, but its a let down on the service and selection.

I was there last Saturday. I felt laike having a steak and beef fillet was really nice. Great service, I was surprised that they do not serve alcohol, but they have not sorted out their licence yet. Anyway, if you do not mind lack of wine, nice place to go.

Myself and a friend ate here yesterday. On arrival we were informed that they could not provide alcohol but they couldnt advise why. I believe they normally do but for some reason they couldn't last nite. Food initally seems a bit pricey but when you get it, you will see why. 1) very generous portions. We both had crab cake for starters. cakes were beautiful, sauce fantastic. For mains I had 10oz Fillet. One word - amazing. I was about an inch and a half thick. I asked for medium well and thats exactly what I got. I was little disappointed with the deserts. There wasnt a hugh selection. Possibly because two of the items on the menu weren't available on the night. Im sure this isn't the case normally. All in all, I really enjoyed the night - friendly staff, lovely layout, exceptional food & great company. Definitely a place to go to impress!

We were so excited when this place opened a few months ago - unfortunately it was a real let down. The food is really disappointing and while it is very cheap, I would prefer to pay an extra couple of Euro for better quality food. Won't be going back sadly.

I recently had a very enjoyable evening here. The staff were friendly and helpful and were fully aware of the menu and what to recommend. 2 of us shared the mixed plate main course and it was excellant. The wine list was pretty good with the organic Argentian Malbec very strong recommended. I would definately go back

Dont cry for me Argentina... I'm not sure if I will ever love you, though the staff were delightful. Had been waiting for months for this to open, finally got in for a meal. Disaster. Steaks had been placed on the grill to cook when our starters were sent out however they had forgotten to heat them up just before serving so they came out to us cold. Eeeyeuch. The waitress and maitre d handled the whole thing very graciously, didn't charge us at all (we also got a delicious bottle of wine free which we would gladly have paid for) and he gave us a taster of a dessert wine. Will be back but only because of the Argentinian charm and honesty we experienced, hopefully teething problems will be ironed out.

My first time at this restaurant, thought atmosphere was a bit lacking, all the tiles and the bright lighting made it feels quite sterile. Service not great, ordered steak medium rare, got v rare. They forgot my wifes sauce and had to be asked twice to bring it out and had to wait another 5 minutes. Steaks were good but found it quite pricey for what it was. Potatoes were underdone and the salad non descript. Disappointing.

I'm argentinean and I can say - GREAT meet served. Parrillada perfectly cooked. Desserts not so good, though (and they're not argentinean at all, except for only one, which was sold out). Great athmosphere as well. Highly reccommendable.

Came here as it had been receommended by an Argentinian friend. Had the steak which was beautiful. Service was shocking. waited about an hour and a half in between starter and main, the restuarant was cold. The chefs anger could be heard from our seats. The restaurant was newly opened so i expect some teething problems. But there is no excuse for the chef to be heard yelling at staff. In fairness our waitress was very apologetic and mortified, as she was getting all the blame for a disorganized kitchen. will try it again in a few months.

I stopped in here today for a very quick lunch. I only had a main course but it was delicious and great value. Service was very friendly and quick. I had the Argentinian Chicken Curry. It was very tasty and nicely presented and at €7.25 was excellent value. I will definitely visit again and with more time will sample the starteres and deserts.

The mussels to start were good and a huge portion, perfect to share. We both order steaks medium rare but both came out well done. They were taken back no problem and the second batch were good and cooked properly. Great selection of wine.

We ate here last Saturday night. The restaurant is bright and spacious, with a luscious 'pair of red lips' surrounding the grill. For starters, I had the crab cake, tasty and well seasoned, my partner had the calamares, which he said was gorgeous, perfectly cooked and plentiful. As a true meat lover that I am i went for the 20oz T-bone steak, with house spuds & salads. My partner had the 14oz sirloin steak, we shared a side of fries, spinach and mushrooms. The mains were tender, succulent, and really tasty, both of us cleaned our plates. We washed down our meal with a beautiful bottle of Vina Amalia 2007. Staff were friendly and attentive on a busy night that saw Argentinia beaten in Rugby but not in Food! We will be back!

Very enjoyable! I had the Cocktail of King Crab to start - excellent quality crab meat. Bit too much for me though. Had the grilled chicken for main - it was a whole chicken!! Really delicious food, but portions were HUGE! The hubby was well pleased though, and cleared off what I didn't finish. At 95€ for 2 starter, 2 main, 3 alcoholic drinks, and a large bottle of mineral water, found it great value, and will definately be back.

Read about it here decided to try it out with two of my colleagues, first impressions teh staff were attentive and the decor faultless. But then starters were bland, my steak was over cooked, my spinach cold. The staff were somewhat overly attentive but given that there were more staff than customers.... When I asked for a port to go with my cheese board (served with hevay brown soda bread??) the waitress actually said 'What?' when she didn't understand my request, then came to the table with the bottle asking 'Is this what you want?' My colleagues meals were fine altough the deserts were somewhat tasteless. Probably a good bet for lunch but I certainly won't be back. It is also overlooked by flats so I wouldn't be heading up there with the girls.

Came here on a Sunday evening, got a table for 2 without a reservation. Had the steamed mussels for starters and my boyfried had the seafood chowder. The mussels were perfectly done and alot of them for the price I paid. The chowder was lovely and creamy with plenty of seafood. We got the Parrillada Grill where my boyfriend had the 14 oz sirloin and I had the 10 oz steak with 4 big argentinian sausages and 2 black puddings. DELICIOUS!! The steak was cooked perfectly and well accompanied with potatoes and veg. Had no dessert but it worked out at € 75 for 2 starters, 2 mains and a lovely bottle of red wine! Will definitely be back!

I heard couple good reviews about that place so decited to try. For a starter myself and my boyfriend ordered musseles to share. It was a good idea because if we had ordered two starters we would have no room for a main. Then we had Parrillada Buenos Aires. Delicoius! I will go back!

I had an early dinner there on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was good, even if a few rugby-shirted types did lower the tone. If you’re going to dine in an Argentinean restaurant on the day of an Argentinean rugby international this might be expected. Rather oddly the maitre’d had difficulty uniting us with the rest of our party. I say oddly because at 6pm we were the only diners dressed in black tie, but we eventually got over that hiccup. Having read about twenty ounce T-bone steaks we passed on starters and made straight for the mains. Two of us shared the Buenos Aires grill. Consisting of a very thickly cut and superb sirloin steak, a large piece of chicken, four herby sausages and some not terribly exciting black pudding it was a veritable meat-fest. This was the more modest of the two grills – the other featured an additional steak. Who in God’s name would eat three pounds of meat for dinner is beyond me. The grill was accompanied by some nice grilled yellow courgettes, and cauliflower, along with suspiciously industrial looking chips. My dining companions had a rib eye steak, and half ducking with orange sauce. Both were declared excellent, with the duck being slightly pink – a welcome hue. The coffees were good. Wine was good and modestly priced. And the service was efficient and friendly. Next time I’d like to try one of the Empanadas de carne – a type of pastie.

Best steak I've ever had. The place is very well run considering it's only open three or four weeks. Charming, friendly staff. Great wine. I was half cut, and they took my guff with a smile. Great spot for a group of half cut, debonair legends anyway. I presume everyone else will enjoy it.

It is a very nice and confortable place, the service was very profecional, the food is very nice but if you dont look after your bill it will reach over €100 for 2 starters, 2 mains and a botle of wine. Doesnt worth that much. I might try another time but not in a hurry to go back.

Was almost put off by previous reviews and having worked in restaurants years ago I know how wrong things can go!! To be fair I had a nice time here. The staff and very friendly and while the decor is that to my taste, it is nice. Food was good even had the crabcakes and they weren't frozen. Had simple steak and chips and was lovely, my partner had seabass and again it was nice. Not the most amazing place but has great potential and worth a visit.

I am a self employed builder and i was looking for somewhere quiet but somewhere that would also impress some clients i was bringing to lunch. We booked a table for 6 on Fri afternoon. We were greeted by the manager upon entering the resturaunt. As it was our first time for us all tasting Argentinian food we asked about what was on the menu. The waitress was only too happy to answer our many questions. For myself i went for the King Crab for starters and the Pork Belly pig for main. This was the most delicious dining experience i have had to date. The service was impeccable and the food matched this,. All of my guests agreed with this and we will definitely be returning again in the future for both business and personal pleasure.

I was there last Saturday. I was amazed by the decor, very classy, and the staff were extremely friendly. I imagine the waitresses were all Argentinean. The starter was a delicious soup of the day: seafood chowder. loved it! and main course Parrilla which I shared with another person for 39 euro! I never leave leftovers but I just couldnt handle so much food, the meat portions were very generous and my favourite was the steak, very tender and tasty. I am sorry I was so full i couldnt try the deserts ( I usually do!) they looked amazing so i look forward to my next visit. Next time I will make sure i get to try everything. Great place to order different things and share with a group. Do i recommend it? YES!

I went here on Friday with 3 others, I was a bit nervous after reading the reviews but I wanted to give this place a chance as it is so close to where I live and would be so handy. We arrived as a walk in at 8pm and got a table no problem, there was a good buzz in the place and the decor is lovely. We got a round table but we were a bit close to the next table but it was ok. Our waitress was lovely, very helpful. 2 of us ordered crab cakes to start with, these were cold in the middle, tasty but cold. Our main courses came promptly after our starters were cleared away. We did not experience any of the delay issues others have mentioned. 2 of us ordered the Parrillada Buenos Aires - which includes - 14oz Sirloin Steak, Chicken, BBQ Ribs, 2 Argentine style sausages and Black Puddings all for €39 for 2 people, there was so much food we couldnt even come near finishing it, we got help from the other 2! The meat was lovely, very tasty and tender. The other meals which were ordered were the Duck and Fish, both were very tasty but one fault was that the chips and veg came on the plate not served in seperate dishes so you can decided yourself how much you do or dont have. Overall the meal went well and I will come again, but i might give them a few months to get themselves on top of the normal start up issues.

I went to BA Grill last night. As we arrived early it was quiet even though I found that many waitresses seemed desperate to do something! The place is nicely decorated with Argentinean music in the background... The food was very nice, I definitely recommend the empanadas as a starter. We then had the lomo, very nice as well even though the fries were not cooked enough. We hesitated in having dessert as we were told that they were quite heavy. So we decided to go for the icecream "dulce de leche" which they didn't have... Apart from this disappointment, I think it is worth going there as the meat and wine are really tasty. I think they just started and are still looking for the best way to manage their business. Once they will improve the service, it will become a very nice restaurant for a relaxing meal!

We arrived at 8 to be greeted by two friendly hosts. We were brought to our seats beside the kitchen, which made for a good nights entertainment. The chefs didn’t stop fighting with one another which made it very uncomfortable for the lovely waitresses who did their utmost to keep the hungry customers happy at all times. We were lead to believe their Gordon Ramsey like personalities would lead to excellent food. So far, the ambience was perfect, the décor was classic, staff were friendly and now for the food. The starters were bland and presented like a school dinner, the Calamari was everything it shouldn’t have been, rubbery and fishy tasting. The other starter was a salad which tasted like hedge dressed in vinegar. After reading previous reviews my girlfriend went for the Argentinean Steak. Anyone that knows anything about quality food would expect at least the steak to be nice especially from Argentina. She asked for it well done with chips. Instead she got a bloody steak and frozen chips which you expect from a café. I ordered the fish with vegetables, which was cold and covered in sauce which over powered the taste of the fish. Ill end here before I bore you all, overall if this restaurant is to survive especially during the recession it would seriously want to improve the quality of the chefs and the food.

I've been to the Buenos Aires Grill on two occasions already! I went with a group of 7 friends the day after the opening. We enjoyed a very nice meal. Everyone ordered steak and we loved it. One of the owners explained to us that the meat is imported from Argentina. So much did I enjoy the experience that I returned with my parents a couple of days later. They also ordered the steak, and they loved it. For dessert we had the Flan with Dulce de Leche, which was one of the best flans I've eaten in a long time. I definitely recommend this restaurant. After reading the other reviews it seems that they had some problems on their opening night, but my experience there was simply great.

I was also there on the opening night.. what a disappointment! If only myself and my boyfriend (and the other diners) had been told there was a problem with the gas, that would have explained the cold starters and general lack of food leaving the kitchen.. and saved us all a lot of time. As it was we were left to think that the chef must be completely incompetent. I also had the crab cake and after a long wait it arrived really cold. I cant review the mains because myself and my boyfriend had to leave before I fainted from starvation. But one lucky table that I did see got steaks and they looked really good. But not worth waiting 2 hours for, The place itself was really nice and the prices reasonable so its a real shame that the overall experience was dreadful.

Three of us had lunch here on Saturday. The starters of prawns, calamiri, and empanads were all very good. We all had steak with pepper sauce for mains. This was served with chips and was very good. The deserts were a let down, a tastless chocolate icecream (ordered as icecream Charlotte), the chocolate mousse was awful and the flan was ok. The staff were very nice and the restaurant has a lovely decor. We had 3 courses each with wine and coffee the bill came to €105. We will return

I had an identical experience to the comment left by the last gentleman; so much so that I thought it must have been my boyfriend that wrote it.... My eating experience here was without doubt the worst I have ever had in Dublin. The entire night was a disaster, I waited for an hour for a crab cake that was frozen in the middle and my boyfriend received cold Argentinean pasties. I sent my starter back as it was completely frozen in the middle and inedible only to receive another cold one (albeit that this one was not frozen). The mains were a complete disaster. We waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for 2 of the rarest steaks I have ever seen. my boyfriend had ordered his steak well done steak and I had ordered mine medium but both arrived as rare as it could possibly be. Furthermore my steak arrived with sides I did not order and despite complaining (to the manager directly) it took another 20 minutes before I got one of the two of the sides that I had ordered with my dish. The other side never surfaced! The quality and presentation of the food were also extremely disappointing. The garlic butter, the chips and the veg are all bought in frozen and cheap. This felt more like very very poor pub grub than restaurant.. We did not get an apology from the manager but our meal was not comped. Unlike the last gentleman I will not be returning to this restaurant, it was appalling, start to finish. I feel somewhat aggrieved that I cannot score this menu at zero…

This is possibly the worst restaurant I have ever had the misfortune of eating i in Ireland. First of all we waited an hour for our starters. Within that hour we saw two tables leave due to terrible service. For some reason we stayed. About 45 minutes into the wait the waitress asked us to remind her what we had ordered. The starters were awful. The salad on one was warm from the heat lamps it had been sitting under. The other contained frozen crab. The waitress never actually remembered to take the starter plates from our table. So for the next hour we waited for our mains. Once again she asked us what exactly we had ordered fro mains. When our mains arrived she copped on that the starter plates were still on our tables. So she just walked away without explanation, with our main courses. When we finally did get served our steaks - in a steak house - they were awful, really terrible. The quality of the meat was mediocre and the way it was cooked was worse than amateur. Just to note during this time we noted just about every table was in the same situation as ours, it was not an isolated incident. Please, do not give this place your custom.

In”Buenos Aires grill”, we finally have discovered truly excellent Argentine food!!! We've eaten one time there and have had an exceptionally good meal. The steaks are just amazing all the meat in general was great and the portions more than generous, specially the parillada Buenos Aires!!… The service was very good as well and the waiting time was very standard, we did not have to rush our meals neither wait too long for them to arrive. I will definitely go back, can wait to taste any other of the specialties!!

We booked a table here for Saturday night, when we arrived the place was full. Our table was not ready and we were asked to wait by the bar but not asked if we would like a drink while waiting. After a few minutes we were shown to a table set for four (we were two) and the maitre'd asked if this table was okay, or would we prefer to wait for a table of two. We were left standing at the table deciding if we were to take this table or not, however we decided to take the table set for four and they cleared away two of the places. The waitress came over to ask if we would like a drink before deciding what we would like to eat, I said that I would choose from the wine list. After around five minutes the waitress came back and asked what bottle we would like, we ordered and also ordered the food. We decided on a starter to share, and we both went for the steak. The waitress came back with glasses of water and the bottle of wine we had chosen. A few minutes later she came back with steak knifes and a second plate, as we were sharing a starter. An hour then passed and we still had not received our starter so I called over our waitress. She said she would check with the kitchen, in the meantime, we had seen the starter we ordered go to a different table that had sat down after us. The waitress apologised saying they had run out of the starter we ordered, and would I like to choose something else. By this time we were so hungry that I said no, we would just go for the main, and asked how long this would be, she went away and came back saying it would be ready in 3 minutes. After around 5 minutes the steaks arrived, mine was over cooked, as I asked for medium, it was very much like well done. By this time we had been at the table around 1 hour 20 mins without any food so I was not going to send it back, as I was so hungry.I know this was the fourth night open but the kitchen so could not handle the demand of the amount of tables in the restaurant. It is a shame, as the decor was very good and it seemed to have a nice atmosphere

Our family, (my wife and I and (four kids, (two teenagers and two smaller ones)), had a meal at the Buenos Aires Grill. (Sunday 2nd November) Before we went the smaller kids were worried about not liking the food, however, there was nothing to be afraid of. Everyone really enjoyed the food and the ambiance, it was second to none, and really enjoyable. After viewing the menu, we opted to be adventurous, and try something from each of the argentinian menu options, which turned out to be a great idea. We all had a varied selection of seafood and meat, meat and lots more meat. This food is a festival for anyone who likes meat, but it is also worth noting that there are ample vegitarian dishes, if one does not want to have the meat. Particularly popular with our group were the Argentinian pasties for starters, the chicken for the main course (a whole small chicken beautifully cooked and presented) and the meat selection tray (Buenos Aires Special). Excellent wines to wash the food down and excellent deserts to send every one on thier way. All of our party ate everything and we would be happy to return. One small note, if you are bringing small kids, they do not, yet offer a kids menu, and the adult portions are large and can be expensive if you are entertaining just kids but it is varied and excelent for adult dining. I expec they will offer kids portions in the fullness of time but try to give it s go, its really very good.

A group of us dined here last night. Having travelled south and central America, I have always been fond of Argentinean cuisine. Upon arriving, we were immediately impressed by the contemporary and comfortable setting of this brand new restaurant. The staff (most of which are South American) were pleasant and friendly. For starters I had the "Empanadas de carne", which was very tasty. Next I had the "Bife Ancho con Guanición" a rib eye steak in marinade - which I asked to be cooked medium rear. This was tender and the marinade was delicious. All of us ordered different mains, mostly meat but one of us had seafood and we were all impressed. The dessert menu, although limited was again satisfactory. We really enjoyed the wine list here, lots of good Argentinean and Chileans to choose from. I'd recommend the "Carmelo Patti Cabernet Sauvignon". The only bad thing to be said about the restaurant (and its not even a bid thing) is that from the outside you cannot see how nice the interior is and perhaps the lighting was a little on the bright side. Overall though, we had a lovely experience here and will definately return again soon.

This is one for the future. Most of the staff are from Argentina and they are definitely going for the authentic thing. The quality of the food was very good we thought and priced very well for what you get. The only bad points about this place would be the service. You can tell the restaurant has just opened and the staff are inexperienced (yet friendly). We were left unattended for long periods and you could tell they were a bit unsure of themselves. Once we had ordered the food did arrive quite promptly although our main course arrived almost as soon as we'd finished our starters which we didn't like. I'd say give this place a few months until they find their feet but it's definitely a place to go for a good steak at an affordable price.

Myself and my girlfriend 'ate' in Buenos Aires Grill on Wednesday the 29th of October. We have both eaten in Steak House's in South America and we were excited about the prospect of authentic Argentinean fare. However the night was a complete disaster and an all round awful experience. As it was their first night in business we both expected that there may be some small teething problems. Unfortunately we grossly underestimated the kind of problems we would later encounter. Our waiter showed us to our seats and we ordered a glass of house red and white. This in itself was quite a struggle. We ordered our starters (empanadas and crab cake) and then our steak. We had to prompt our waiter as to how we wanted our steak cooked (I don't think he was going to ask) and when we asked for our sauce on the side we were told it couldn't be done. Some 20 minutes passed and there was no sign of our drinks. Eventually a manager asked if we were ok and we subsequently received the wine. 45 minutes had passed and our starters arrived. My girlfriends crab cake was ice cold in the middle and my empanadas were extremely disappointing. Having received a further apology for the crab cake we began to feel uneasy as the table beside us had yet to receive their mains and the kitchen appeared to be in chaos as 6-8 staff waited by the counter in the vain hope some food might come out. We asked our waiter if the steaks would be much longer. He said he would check but walked off in the opposite direction never to return. After 1 hour and 45 minutes we decided enough was enough and went to settle our bill. At this point we were told by an apologetic manager that there was a problem with the gas and we were not charged for our wine or starters. This we appreciated. We left with haste sparing some thought for the remaining patrons who would undoubtedly grow weary in time. Hopefully this was a once off and we may yet give them another go
