I had lunch here yesterday, having previously only tried a take away sandwich. The seating area is downstairs; the space is small and was therefore a bit cramped. Right, on to the food. I had the 'Empire State' sandwich which came a lovely baguette, (not cuisine de France, but a proper homemade chunky one). The fillings were very good quality and the accompanying sides were good. Nice little carrot and raisin salad. The plate it was served on was very long and narrow and a little cumbersome, but it did look good :)! All in all pretty good, but pricey for a sandwich at nearly €12 + tip.

I only found out this place existed today so I went on my lunchbreak from work. I was very impressed. It's small but we managed to get a table. I had the spinach and ricotta tortellini and my friend had the lasagne. Both were served with a small salad and potatoes. The food was lovely and the only negative is the price. A little on the expensive side for lunch so we won't be going here very often. I notice that they serve breakfast from 7.30am so it's possible we might pop in before work some day. The service was very efficient which is just what you need at lunch time.

A welcoming atmosphere with generous servings of robustly flavoured food, Angel Park is one of the few high quality eat-in/take-out establishments in the area. Ideal for luncheon with colleagues or friends, this eatery is famed for it's paprika spiced frech fries and is huge burgers and salads. Don't bother with breakfast and forget about dinner, the delicious servings here will have you full to the brim all day.

We booked a table as there were alot of us. Always ask for a table away from the door otherwise you get a really cold rush of air each time the door opens. Try and eat early or late as when the place is full the acoustics are so bad that it is very noisy and you have to shout to be heard. Would go here more often but it is too expensive to do that. Lovely food though. Great service.Good for special lunches.

Visited here today with a friend - how come I've never heard of here before? Both of us prefer the veggie options, I opted for Veggie Heaven Wrap and my friend the Italian Job focaccia; we finished with cappuccinos & shared a Rocky Road (huge!). Bill was €35 which is pricey for lunch of sandwich/salad (so wouldn't necessarily call this a place for cheap eats) but it was all really delicious & filling. Lots of burgers on menu, and there were a good number of men in the cafe, leading me to believe that the the fare is manly-men-friendly too! Very welcoming and friendly staff despite being very busy. Would recommend for a nice work/social lunch.

Popped in to grab a latte on the way to work. Tasted good enough, but 2.90 is a ridiculous price!

Went here for my lunch downstairs. Cosy restaurant which was really busy. I got an El Greco wrap - it was really nice but thought it was pricey enough! Have gotten food in the take away part since and can't deny that you get what you pay for. Food is fresh, tasty and really good quality. Well worth a little bit extra.

The atmosphere is very nice and cousy. The waiters and the whole staff was very friendly and helpful (my friend made the wrong order :) and they exchanged it without charging her a penny). The food was really tasty and served nicely and quickly. The only thing that I would like to point out is that the "chipotles" in one of the burgers are not really chipotle chilli...it's just roasted pepper. Good value for money. I will come back definetly.

I came here for breakfast. It was very quiet downstairs and it was a while before we spotted a sign telling us to order & pay upstairs. I ordered pancakes, which were delciious. I did feel the portion was tiny considering the price. I was still hungry afterwards!! However, I've been here many times for lunch and loved it. The portions are quite big (but you do pay for it) As far as I know they have NEW menus ... gone are the stapled pages!!! Hurrah!!

Heard alot of great things about this cool 'secret gem' of a place in a basement on Lr Mount Street so went for lunch to check it out with two friends last week and was not disappointed, this place is great. Its only been reopened about five months after major renovations, as we were told by our extremely friendly waitress. I had the Malaysian chicken curry which came with rice, mixed leaves and a carrot salad, one of my friends had lamb skewers with mint sour cream and the other had a chicken, spinach and pesto salad (think it was called a Signor Popeye?) We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, the service was great-so friendly and the decor is fab. On the way out we all grabbed a coffee and mini baked lemon cheescake to go from the uber-cool takeout deli they have above it and felt like we were in New York. You'd know whoever owns it has put alot of thought into what their doing. We'll definately be back!!

Had lunch here today. Mixed reactions. The waiting staff were amazingly helpful and courteous, and the food was really lovely. On the other hand the menus are stapled printouts, and of the 3 menus we had, we found numerous differences. The presentation of the food is a bit over the top, a burger arrived on a wooden thing that looked like an over-sized incense stick holder, the side-salad was in a ramekin which made it difficult to get at, and the chips were in a little skillet thing (funky). I also had to send my burger back twice to get cooked as the mince was pink in the centre. But as the staff are so nice, i wasnt charged for it. Would go back, though not every day, the big burger with small fries and small side salad costs ~13 euro

Ate lunch here mid week. Pretty busy for 12pm. Huge menu which was poorly presented i.e. tatty, old pages stapled together. Had lasagne. Big portion whcih was tasty but cheese was a bit hard. Felt like it had been reheated not freshly cooked. Served with salad leaves and roast potatoes with parmesan on top. Nice decor but service was very average. One dish arrived out then a 5 minute wait for the next . Grand but wouldn't rush back. Should do ok purely due to location
