The traditional exterior of the Kingfisher Restaurant reflects the "old fashioned" courtesy and personal service found inside. Being a family run business, home cooking is the order of the day - the potatoes used in the cooking come from the family farm. Popular with the locals and visitors alike the Kingfisher Restaurant, situated in the heart of Dublin City, has a reputation for its fresh seafood and traditional fish and chips, served in comfortable and relaxed atmosphere by our friendly, efficient staff. The Kingfisher is also famous for its award winning breakfasts specializing in the traditional "Full Irish". The Kingfisher Restaurant featured in the Top 100 Restaurants Guide of Dublin for 2005, 2006 and 2007 reaffirming its reputation for the highest quality standards in food and service.

this is a great comfort food place. homely food served in nice atmosphere. had fish and chips, fish very fresh and chips exactly as they should be. for some reason they no longer serve mushy peas and now give out garden peas?? mushy peas are traditional fare with fish and chips so i personally dont think they should be changing something like that. garden peas and deep fried fish and chips just dont work as well. got few bones in fish but i understand these things can happen. great spot for food would not hesitate to recommend or bring anyone here.

I live near here and had the chance to use a voucher for a full irish recently on a lazy sunday morning. Ive only eaten here a couple of times but the service and food make this place pretty memorable. Full irish served with toast and tea did not disappoint. It even included a couple of fried potatoes which i live!. Ive been here for dinner before and the chips are excellent. I'll definitely be returning!!

Comfort food does not get any better than this! Sat down to a huge plateful of chipper chips with loads of vinegar & a lovely cheeseburger, loads of ketchup, and fried onions! The boyfriend had the fish and chips - lovely spot!
