We ordered without much wait. The food got delivered to our table after 10minutes, which I thought was a bit long for a sunday afternoon. But it was worth the wait as you could taste that it was freshly prepared. The portions are big. And you get a real taste of mexican food from real mexican chef's.

Just had a beef taco for lunch which was delish. Lovely efficient and friendly staff. Also brought home some tinned Chipotle, tomatillos and corn tortillas. Love the food :)

Great place for a taco, love the epicurean food hall. Really great choice. I had the opportunity to use some city deal vouchers at taco taco recently and it really was some eating!! Very very filling, with quite a good bit of chicken and cheese. Lovely spot for a bit of tex mex food and a really great hangover cure after a Friday night on the tiles!! Recommended!!

The only downside of Taco Taco is that it is in the Epicurean Food Hall. I went here for lunch with my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago. I got the vegetable quesadillas and she got the vegetable burrito. The service was quick and friendly. We took our food and ate it by the river. I was pleased to find that both items were quite tasty. Will definitely return to Taco Taco for lunch in the future. They also have a large selection of Mexican salsas and canned food items that are difficult to find elsewhere in Ireland.

I like this place. It is cheap and the food is really tasty. The atmosphere isn't great because it is a food court. I like going for a burrito and then heading around the corner to Third Floor Coffee for a cuppa afterwards and to relax.

I usually enjoy the food here but this time I found it very dry and kind of processed tasting. I ordered the chicken enchilada, my sis ordered the chicken fajitas and my boyfriend ordered the chicken burrito(they had no beef which was what he wanted). Maybe it was because it was late in the day but it just wasn't up to it's usual standards. I will go back again just to make sure it was a one off!

My only complaint about Taco Taco is that they're not open more often. I love their tacos and nachos, and I think it's incredibly authentic Mexican food. I had the chorizo tacos on my last visit. They were crispy, hot and had just the right amount of spice. The value is excellent as it's a very inexpensive place. If I worked closer to the Epicurean, I'd be here every week. Excellent food, excellent service.

My only problem with Taco Taco is that the beef quesadilla is so tasty that I cant bring myself to try anything else any time I go.My sister loves the veggie burrito and my friends had the chicken burrito. The service is friendly and quick and portion is big enough for a decent meal. It's always busy and the quality is good for the cheap-ish prices

This place is fantastic. Granted, the Epicurian Food Hall does sort of make you feel like you're eating in a school canteen, but that's easily put aside for the quality of the food. I always get the vegetarian quesadillas with extra jalapenos, which is perfection every time. Taco taco is cheap, delicious and the servers are lovely. I love going here, and I'll definitely be back.

Only just discovered Epicurean foodhall a few months ago and have been there 4 or 5 times now, always to Taco taco. Their chicken fajitas are very good value and very tasty plus the portion size is very decent. Probably one of the best spots for a cheap bite to eat at lunch time on the north side of the city centre.

Taco Taco has long been one of my favourite places in Dublin. The food is superb! Mouth is watering just thinking of it! It is fantastic value, and there is a great range of super-healthy stuff. The food court is a nice place to go with a group as there's a very relaxed atmosphere. Not the most comfortable of venues perhaps but ideal to stop off for a quick, filling bite to eat in town. I love it.

Taco Taco is probably one of my favourite places to grab a bite when down near O'Connell Street. There is no better place to grab lunch when you are on the go. They offer authentic Mexican food at very good prices - less than half of what many other 'Mexican' places around charge and they do it much better. I found when you order a taco, enchilada, or some of the other items that you actually get two - as there are two in an order - making it even better value for money. Everything on the menu is brilliant - and you are never starved for choice sure.

Visited here a short while ago and found it reasonably good quality for a good price. Seating in the Food hall is shared between several take away style restaurants so its quite useful if you are in a large group and people want to eat very different things.I had the veggie burrito and found it quite tasty but obviously not healthy with plenty of cheese. The place gets very busy and noisy during lunch and you have to pay to use the toilets which arent great. In a handy location if you only have a short time to eat.Service was fine.

Good choice of food, really friendly staff & the price is great. I like eating here as an alternative to fast food places in town. I was impressed when I saw most of the ingredients are imported from Mexico & available to buy to take home. Would definitely recommend the place as a quick bite place around town.

This is my favourite "fast food" place in the city. No where else even comes close. I get cravings for their chicken Torte, which I know isn't very authentic but it's delicious! Their chicken is good quality and nicely spiced. I've never had a bad experience here. Noted on my last visit they are open until 1am!

We had burritos and nachos with salsa and guacamole and it was so good. Really yummy. Only time I've had proper burritos in Ireland. Great feel about Taco Taco and staff were very friendly. Seating is shared between all vendors and a bit all over the place. Floor wasn't exactly spotless but the tables were cleaned down properly after each use. Great spot for food on the go or a quick spot of lunch but don't expect high class dining. It is a food hall after all. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Fisrt time trying Taco Taco in the food hall, and it won't be the last. The burrito's were good and tasty, hold together really well which makes for easy eating. Only downside, they weren't piping hot, and I would like mine with a few jalapenos. I'll know to ask for these the next time. Good eats, good value and a damn sight better than alot of other fast food outlets.

Went to Taco taco yesterday with two friend who are visiting the city. I really like Taco Taco but this time it was a little disappointing..What i do like is that all the ingredients are imported from Mexico, the owner is from Guadelejara, MX, so you know its all very authentic, but this time the quality of my food was only ok. I had the veggie enchiladas-nice, but a little dry (the melted cheese on the top was hard) and i had to ask for some salsa on the side. There was no sour cream given. The portion size was very good though. My friends had the chicken burrito which looked soo good and very filling, and the chicken tacos which were smothered in yummy guacamole, sour cream and salsa. I think they should give salsa and guac/sour cream as a side portion for the enchiladas though, as they are integral parts of any mexican dish. I frequently buy ingredients from here to make mexican food at home (corn chips, fried beans, back beans, chipotle sauce etc.) and though its expensive, it is worth it. I hope the prices don't get more expensive as they are just about right now (€5.50 for veg enchilada), and it wouldnt be worth it if it was more expensive. I think Taco Taco is a good place to go for a casual mexican fix if your expectations aren't too high- it is tasty and filling, but could be improved still.

Where better to go for breakfast when you have the mother of all hangovers?? Taco Taco of course! Crawled in here one Sunday morning absolutely dying and in desperate need of food. We ordered a beef burrito each and we weren't waiting long. They were so good, pack with minced beef, rice, lettuce, salsa and spices. Absolutely beautiful and just what you need to get you over the night before. A bargain to boot.

Taco Taco is a fantastic little spot. Good luck getting a seat on a weekend afternoon, but don't let that put you off this yummy stuff. I've eaten the delightful offerings from here many times and have yet to be disappointed. It's all good - the tacos, quesadillas and especially a man-size portion of the nachos. The Chorizo nachos are a particular favourite. Lovely spicy chorizo. Ideal mid-shopping snack to keep you going.

It is the Only true Mexican food I have ever had in Ireland. This place for anyone who has lived in the states and eaten Tex Mex know its real. Even the nacho chips are good. I always go for quesadilla but there is great choice and I would love to see them open a small restaurant eventually. Its worth a visit and go early as the food hall fills up at lunchtime. This is what Mexican food tastes like!

The food here is fantastic. I crave the chorizo burrito all the time. The only problem is that it is located in the Epicurian food hall which means that you compete for seats with everyone else. By far and away the best mexican food in Dublin though.

I was fortunate enough to live round the corner from Taco Taco for 6 months, and would visit weekly. I never had anything close to a bad meal. I'd highly recommend the chicken tostadas as a hangover cure, with soft, mild salsa verde over crisp tostadas. Or for a mid-week treat, the chorizo burrito. And their nachos are how nachos _should be done_: huge, luscious, fresh, and with great guacamole.

I love to eat in this place. For what you pay for you get great value, not to say that value is all they offer. They have great big burritos and some fantastic guacamole. I really hope they decide to branch out of the epicurian because just personally I'm not mad for eating in there.

Thank god for the Taco Taco!! Amazing if you have a hangover or if you just want something tasty and fresh. Yes the foodhall is a bit crazy at lunch times but the food at Taco Taco makes up for it! I am from the Northside but work on the Southside and I am sick of overpriced sandwiches and wraps for lunch. Please Taco Taco, EXPAND!! Taco Taco leads the way for Mexican cuisine in Dublin, nobody does it better!

Had lunch here yesterday. Got there at 12.40 so managed to get a seat pretty easy but don't bother between 1 and 2, you'll have to take you're food away with you. I got the chicken enchilada with a side of guacamole. I wasn't charged for the guacamole which was cool and to get 2 enchiladas for €6.25 is unbelievable. If you go to a restaurant it would cost you double that for just one. They are seriously yummy, nice and spicy, the only complaint that I'd have is the paper plate which kinda falls apart and the plastic cutlery which you have to go easy on. Otherwise fantastic. I love this place.

I honestly can't review this place without my mouth watering! I love it so much! The only downside is the location in the Food Hall - which is a great place, but often crowded and atmosphere could be better. Not the best place for a leisurely lunch and a chat but what the hall lacks in atmosphere, this Mexican place makes up for in quality! Truly fantastic food with fresh ingredients, excellent prices, and friendly staff. The portions are small enough to have for lunch but are filling enough to be a main meal, you may think ''how is that possible'' but it's really true! As I am vegetarian I have only tried the vegetarian options (my favourite being the DIVINE enchiladas) but I trust the meat-filled options are of a similarly high standard. I can't rate this place enough, honestly, if it was in a building of it's own with nice decor and location etc it would be regarded as one of the best in the city.

We live in the city, and we will walk out of our way, about 3KM's just to come have the beef nachos at Taco Taco. These nachos could possibly be the best we have ever had! We travel extensively and always try nachos wherever we go; Taco Taco is definitely a winner! You must buy a bag of their nachos they have for sale and just taste the difference between these and the ones you get at the Tesco or wherever. You get what you pay for when it comes to the atmosphere (in a food court setting - lots of people leave the tables in a complete mess and the staff can't keep up with the litter), but the service is quick and attentive, that's why I rate service/atmosphere a 3*. We visit Taco Taco almost every weekend for our dose of Beef Nachos!

Used to come here very often when I was staying in city centre few years ago. Now will still drop by whenever I’m nearby. Good for a quick bite. Always go for their chicken burrito as it's one of my favourites. I think they could do with a more generous portion but otherwise everything was good!

Taco Taco have the ingredients right, and maybe they do source all their materials from Mexico but the end result is far from satisfactory. The food we received here was cold and very poorly presented. A big disappointment.

I am Mexican and even though I hadn't tried the food in there, I can say that the products they sell e.g. salsas and other canned food is 100% Mexican; they are products that a Mexican would buy back in Mexico. This is the only place I had found in Ireland where you can buy original products.

Having read some of the current reviews, I was looking forward to taco taco. Got there and was very disappointed with the food. Its not "homemade" as described, but tinned - the salsas etc... Reviewers should have their taste buds checked, before writing anymore reviews. Apart from the food, it’s cold and windy!

I love this place! I used to go here nearly everyday for lunch until I felt I was overdoing it a little. The chicken quesadilla is my fave with guac and sour cream. The staff are really friendly too and eventually knew my order before I said it. We need more decent Mexicans in Dublin!!

I have to say I love the whole concept of the Epicurean Food Hall. I love Mexican but do find it quite expensive so it was nice to fall upon this place. Went with my hubbie and kids lately. He and I ordered a veggie burrito and a veggie taco respectively, whilst our more conservative kids had nachos. The food was really lovely and felt a lot more authentic than expensive Mexicans I had eaten in. Obviously, the whole place has more of a fast food lunch time ambience than a restaurant, but would highly recommend for a cheap delicious lunch.

Truly: the only real Mexican food in Dublin! And it is just lovely. Great homemade salsas and prices are reasonable. It reminds me of all the great Mexican food I ate when living in Eastern Washington and California. I think I'll be a repeat offender here, but I do wish they would open their own restaurant because the epicurean food hall is just a little distracting and drafty at times.

This place is amazing. Great food, great value, great service and from what I'm told, the most authentic Mexican place in Ireland. The best guacamole I've ever had. If you're in the food hall, you must go here! Beef nachoes are my favourite.

Taco Taco is fantastic food at fantastic value - The staff are real Mexicans & so friendly!I go there all the time! I would definitely recommend a visit to everyone, I have a lot of friends living here who are real Mexican & others who are Mexican-American and it's the only place they approve of! Go here very often, my favorite is the vegetarian enchiladas, two very good sized enchiladas stuffed with filling and spices! Really good value and very tasty! Can either be a quick snack or a decent lunch. The food is very reasonably priced and the service is always fast and efficient.

Ate here yesterday, because I'd wanted to try it since reading the reviews here. I had the vegetarian burrito and the portion was very good - I was full halfway through eating it! The only niggly things I'd say about the burrito is that I'm not the biggest fan of red and yellow peppers and that I would have loved more refried beans, but overall the food was tasty and it's healthier than some other fast food. My boyfriend had the beef burrito and he said the price was well worth it - good value for the portions you get and very nice. I would go back and try some other things on their menu; it's great food if you want something cheap, quick, filling and more on the healthy side! I would agree with the comment about lack of seating - it would be nice if they could somehow have more tables and chairs in the food hall, although I have to say we were lucky to get a table on a Saturday afternoon!

I always eat here when I am in the area for lunch. They do the best Mexican food I have had in Ireland. The food is fresh, full of flavour and the portions are always generous. Value for money-wise, I can't think of anywhere better. The only negative is the fact that it is in the the foodhall which is too busy to be able to really enjoy the food. Food this good really deserves a better environment to be eaten in!

This is a great place to grab some fast, tasty food! The burritos are very tasty and cheap! The enchiladas are also very good and although I've never tried them, the nachos look great! Only downside is the lack of seating available although you can get the food to take away. Will definitely go back!

This is my stable place to eat when shopping. I love their nachos with chorizo, loads of jalapeno peppers and cheese. I have gotten their burritos, quesadilla and i'm never disappointed. And even their Sincronizada are great. Will have to make a lunch stop there tomorrow i think.

Really great, authentic (as far as I can tell, not being Mexican!) food. It’s cheap, delicious and has loads of flavours going on. Very quick too of course. The only problem is actually finding somewhere to sit because it’s so busy but the whole food hall is always so busy so they can't be blamed for that. I’d definitely go back again and again :)

Fantastic cheap and cheerful place for lunch. The food is authentically Mexican, the service is quick and the portions are filling. Their guacamole is lovely and fresh. They also don't just bulk out their vegetarian burritos with loads of rice and a bit of beans, but with actual roasted peppers and onions, which gives it the edge on other Mexican places around Dublin. The two stars I gave for service and atmosphere are a condemnation of the food hall, which is not particularly pleasant, rather than the staff here, who are friendly and efficient. I have tried the burritos, enchiladas, and quesadillas, and none of them disappoint!

Taco Taco serves up the best Mexican food in Dublin, hands down. Others may charge more, but for my money I think a chicken burrito from Taco Taco offers you amazing bang for your buck. It's a complete meal for a bit over five euros (that's with sour cream inside). I think some of the rest of the menu is hit and miss, but even if this was just a burrito place I think they'll still do extremely well. There's a fairly steady stream of people ordering and hanging around to collect, but no matter what time of day I've gone there they always seem to have your burrito for you pretty sharpish... The staff are like a human production line.

I am OBSESSED with the vegetarian burrito. This is seriously the best lunch deal in town. The people who work there are great too. I'm not a huge fan of the Epicurean food court itself -- I always get it for take away -- but Taco Taco is just the best.

Best Mexican food in the city I love coming here for Mexican, it's fast, tasty and cheap and so much better than the other bland offerings in town. The only problem, as always in the Epicurean, is finding a table at lunch but as long as you bring someone fast on their feet and with pointy elbows you should be ok!

When I occasionally go to the Epicurean food hall (wish it opened later), I usually make a half-hearted circuit of the hall checking out the other stalls before descending on Taco Taco and wolfing down a burrito. They're great, just like the ones you get in the Mission in San Francisco, and nothing like the tarted-up but bland ones sold in most Mexican establishments in Dublin.

This is one of my favourites in the Epicurean Centre. I have really enjoyed almost everything I have had here. My only complaint is that when I get anything with their chorizo it is VERY salty- stick to the chicken, minced beef or vegetarian. Great value for lunch.

Anytime I go for a bite in the Epicurean Foodhall, I find it difficult to see past Taco Taco, despite all the other temptations in the area. Grilled chicken burrito is my favourite on the menu, closely followed by the veg nachos. The veg burrito is probably poor value though considering the basic ingredients in it. Consider putting some extra refried beans in there maybe?

My favourite Mexican food place-just a little stall but worth the rating. The vegetarian nachos are the best as long as they do the portions right-sometimes a little too much of something and not enough of something else (usually guacamole). Used to get bigger portions when it first opened. Ask for the takeaway box as you get more in it than the sit in plate and it is less messy.

Read all the reviews , had to try it out.. It was GOOD, they use some authentic ingredients that you just dont get in other mexican restaurants..There is one exception in Howth that uses authentic ingredients, if you want a night out with this quality of food but if your passing through town feeling hungry drop into this place , it is more of a quick stop food joint.. Will be back......

The chicken tacos in this place are the real deal - I've spent most of my life living in Texas and California and this is where I go when I crave Mexican. Taco is probably the most authentic Mexican place in Dublin. The burritos are great when you're starving or preparing for a night out on the town. It's very affordable and they now sell some of their ingredients if you want to try your hand at cooking Mexican at home.

Can not rave about this place enough! Having tried EVERY other Mexican eatery in the city (little/no exaggeration) this is by far the best. Cheap and cheerful, using imported Mexican ingredients things like the chipotes and the Caldo Tlalpeno soup are brill. If getting the burrito ask for extra salsa and guacamole! A million light years better than Burritos and Blues (DO NOT go there).
