Ate here recently with some colleagues. Firstly the surroundings are fantastic, it feels like you are in someone's cellar! Service was great throughout, friendly and efficient. Food was very good. I had a beef sandwich with a soup (served in cappucino cup), and for the two it's a deal for just over €8. You won't get better value and quality in the IFSC for lunch. Will be back!

I visited Eno Wine Bar with my partner yesterday. We ordered a a bottle of Malbec and an antipasti platter for two. It was delicious. Fresh Figs stuffed with Ardsallagh Goats cheese, wild mushrooms, olives, lovely meats and a really generous selection of Irish Cheeses. These were accompanied by crackers and breads. There was no issue getting an extra portion of bread when we asked for it as we were very hungry, The staff were really friendly and even though we were in early so there weren't many people inside it had a really chilled out vibe due to the good selection of music that was playing. As we were leaving people were starting to order food from the restaurant dinner menu which you can also eat in the wine bar, what we saw going by looked good. Great selection of wines and many reasonably priced bottles. Our Malbec wa 24 euros and delicious. It is nice to see Irish cheese producers supported as all the cheeses are Irish. It was our first time to visit and we will definitely be back.

I have been to Enowine a few times and eaten in La Cuvee once. Firstly on La Cuvee we went one weekday evening it was early around 5.30-6. The restaurant was very quiet. The staff were friendly, we ordered two mains I had the duck while tasty it was over done which was disappointing. For dessert we shared the Pear and Almond tart which was lovely. The staff although friendly when taking our order when unattentive when we were trying to get the bill. Even though the place was not busy. On Enowine we have visited here a few times and I love the idea. You buy a card and taste wines as you go. The staff here are lovely always friendly. It is disappointing it closes early though as the concept is good. The change the wine selections quite frequently so there are always new wines to taste. Highly recommend trying here.

i used a deals voucher in here which consisted of 20 euros worth of wine and a cheese and charcuterie board. We had great fun tasting some wines before settling on a bottle to have with our food. it was a generous protion that was plenty for the 2 of us and the wine bar has a lovely cosy atmosphere. my only gripe is that one bottle wasnt enough and by the time we decided to have another it was closing time so we had to enjoy the 2nd bottle at home instead!have been back a few times since for takeout wine as its nice to taste before you buy!

We ordered our food while picking out our wine for the evening, I thought it was a good idea to have the menu there and be able to order while we picked out our wine but the plan didn't really work out as when we arrived upstairs for our starters were cold, they had obviously been sitting waiting for us for a while, if the restaurant want to continue with this arrangement they need to tighten up on their timings. I had the prawns to start with and they had a really awful flavour and were over cooked, I'm not really sure what went wrong with them but they didn't resemble anything that I have ever eaten before, the matter wasn't helped by the fact that they were cold! For the main I had cod which was satisfactory, well cooked and arrived hot. My dining partner had the steak which was perfectly cooked and very tasty. We waited and waited and waited and waited for the waitress to arrive back to ask us what we wanted for dessert, eventually we managed to get her attention and ordered a cheese plate and two espressos. The cheese plate arrived freezing cold and with no explanation as what each piece was. There was only one type of cracker supplied with it which was disappointing, a variety would have been nice. We had to chase after the staff again to get our bill but gave up on them coming back to swipe our credit card, we just went up to the counter. We felt that what we were charged did not reflect the food we had eaten or the service we received. It was quite laughable actually the nonchalance of the staff and management can only be the ones held responsible. If they cut the prices by a third it would be better value for money. As a previous posted commented the restaurant in very cold and breezy! I should point out that the staff in the wine shop are very friendly and helpful, I would give them five stars alone.

Went with large group did the wine tasting first which was fun and then we had the christmas menu. Food was tasty and attentive service although the staff could be a little more knowledgeable couldnt explain the rillets to one of the Group which meant diapointment when it arrived! Overall happy with the food if a little expensive for the portion sizes probably best for Groups

We found out about this place from city deal. The wine tasting was brilliant. We were very impressed with variety etc. The food was nothing special though. Portions where also too small. You'd really have to get 3courses to fill you up and the menu is not cheap. However, over all it was a pleasant enough experience. Staff was lovely.

I visited this restauraunt with my husband using a citydeal voucher. We had a great night. The wine tasting was great fun. We were given a card that we could insert into a machine to select the wines we wished to taste. The card had a credit amount on it and the vines vary in cost to try. As you try more wines the balance on the card reduces. After the wine tasting we went upstairs for dinner. The food tasted really good, my husband had steak and I had the fish of the day which was a generous potion of sea bass. I rarely have desert but I was tempted by the brownie which was delicious. We both got very comfortable in this resteraunt and didn't want to leave. really enjoyed the night and would definitely go back. (Actually have gone back again and was happy second time too! - give it a try)

Went here for an early dinner with my boyfriend. We had a city deal voucher which was excellent value for what you got. The wine tasting was great fun and we really enjoyed it. Would definately go back again for that. I thought though it would have been nice if they had little cards with a bit of information about the wine on the bottles or the wall or something. You didnt really know anything about what you were drinking and I'm sure you could ask staff but I didnt want to be asking about every bottle! As for the food we both had the steak which was cooked perfectly but was a bit fatty and I wouldnt order it again. Definitely wouldn't pay €24 for it and it only came with chips, no veg. The desserts were lovely. An excellent cheese plate with yummy onion chutney and a warm brownie with ice cream! As for the staff, I couldn't fault them. Excellent service beyond what I would expect. Friendly and no problem giving advice on the food or wines. Will definitely go back for the wine but not the food.

Was here with a citydeal voucher. Contrary to other reports I found the staff very helpful and friendly To be honest I didnt enjoy the food. I had the steak which i certainly wouldnt pay 24 euro for again BUT I did enjoy the wine tasting and would return for this. Had some very tasty cheese to accompany the wine

The only redeeming factor of this overall experience was that it was done on a CityDeal. The wine tasting was an over priced underly informed exercise in money wasting. On to the restaurant upstairs with our small glasses of wine, we were greeted by the waitress who looked with distain at us, obviously because we had brought wine up with us instead of ordering at the table. We ordered beef - one well done and another rare. They arrived and the waitress asked who the rare was for, and proceeded to place the well done steak where the rare one should be, much to the disgust of my dining companion, who was cringing with shock when she cut it and saw blood. This, complete with a small stack of 5 chips was a traumatic dining experience that we will not be repeating again. I definitely wouldn't be recommending the place either. Not good value for money, no atmosphere and snooty, ill experienced staff certainly wouldn't encourage customers to revisit.

Went for dinner on Sat evening before theatre. We skipped starters but were brought bread and oil. I chose the fish of the day grilled mackeral and my partner had the Rib Eye, we were both happy with our choices although my citrus sauce was a little plain. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. I chose the cheese plate for desert and my partner had the ice cream. Cheese plate was a very good size, and the staff offered me more bread for it. Good food and wine. Reasonable price for a nice meal.

The restaurant starts with a wine shop downstairs. You purchase smth like a credit card and then you are given a glass and you are off to wine tasting. The value of this is brilliant - each tasting costs around 1 euro more or less, so for 10 euros you can get 8 - 10 tastings. And tasting portions are bigger than I have expected :) The idea of tasting is brilliant - once in a wine shop rather that selecting wine by the label you can actually try it and see if you like it. And it's also fun! After tasting we went to a restaurant upstairs. The service was fast, the food was tasty (oh, their mashed potato is sooooo good!). And dessert lived to the expectations - though I found the selection of desserts a bit boring, my chocolate brownie was delicious. Liked the place and will definetely be back.

Where do I start?! The wine tasting downstairs is in theory a great way to begin a girls night. Sadly, the selection of wine is very poor, one was gone off - bacterial we had to tell the guy and he agreed! Pretty bad start. Not only that but we got no description of any of the wines - kind of pointless if you're going wine tasting hey? Selection was terrible - nothing other than Reisling and maybe 2 other random types to choose from of the 12 or so whites on offer. It was very much a 'on your own' experience. You've to ask for EVERYTHING..2nd glasses for the red, the menu (twice) and even water! Then we went up to the restaurant. It barely warrants any words. Needless to say my coeliac friend got a bad reaction to her duck. I too had the duck - they gave me the exact same atrocious 'jus' as hers - no port in it at all, just fat and maybe a stock cube. My sister enjoyed her lamb but my mouth was on fire from the amount of garlic in the spinach - it certainly offset the unseasoned potato and drizzle of 'jus' or whatever they want to call it. In the end, I kid you not, the waitresses were so rude they said 'see ye' and walked off leaving us to FIND our own coats in the coat area! My sister then caught another waitress talking about us to one of the other staff downstairs...and proceeded to practically shout at my sister. The customer is always right? Perhaps we should vote with our feet on that one. My friend’s wheat allergy had been mentioned 4 times since our arrival to no avail, finishing off with my sister being verbally attacked I would say it's pretty clear why the manager isn't there on the weekends! He'll be back Monday by the way.

1st visit after reading reviews which seemed good. Our waitress nice young girl on her 1st day so guess she was a little nervous. She could not open wine and then broke cork so had to get a Snr. member to help. Had not the heart to tell her it was the wrong wine but a quiet word with snr staff member and it was sorted quietly.Mr. Boop had the salmon (his fav) as starter. V. small portion with 2 tiny triangles of brown bread (slightly stale and no butter). I opted for Cesar Salad. Just O.K. until half way way through and I'm gagging on a piece of plastic (think maybe from salad bag).Snr. staff v. apologitic. Onto mains. Mr. Boops chose lamb. He said was "lovely". although only 2 and he was told it would be 3 cutlets. Small square of potato so not exactly filling. Hey Guys, how hard or expensive would it be for you to put couple slices of carrot or few green beans on plate, I had the Rib eye. I can honestly say it was 1 of worst steaks I have ever experienced. Had asked for NO BLOOD, but was a little oozy, but decided not to look and just eat. WELL, it was the FATTEST, MOST CHEWY, TOUGH, steak ever. Full of sinewy bits. I cut it up small and tried to chew each mouthful. Finally gave up (and had to apologize to waitress)as the whole steak went back to kitchen but in chewed up lumps on the plate.)Waiting staff were lovely and apologized again and again, its not their fault, they did their best. We had desset and coffee both fine. When we got bill, my meal taken off and desserts/coffee on the house. The only good thing about this restaurant was the lovely staff. Would not return again for the food. Way to expensive (with no side orders included) even if food had been edible.

Definitely recommended. Nice choice on the menu, decent portion sizes and no need for sides as all dishes came with their 'extras'. Starter we had, very tasty mango/chilli Gambas (although not much chilli taste). ain we had the Hake (fish of day) with mash and also the grilled seabass, both were promptly served and really light but great flavours. Most mains between €15 - 18 which is good value, dessert were nice and only €5 each. Wine list is extensive and you can sample some downstairs in their wine store, where there is agood wine tasting set up. Overall bright restaurant, incredibly friendly and knowledgable staff with great food and resonable value - what more do you want

Thougght we'd try somewhere new. I was delighted with the service & the wine list & the menu (we went for the early bird 3 course). Unfortunately 1 of the people with me was very unhappy with his steak & really couldn't eat it which was disappointing as I'd chosent he restauarant & felt responsible. I also did not really understand how the bill was made up & had booked through menu pages so should have gotten a starter free. I would probaby return althought he 2 people with me said they probably would not. I did thinkt he service was good & place was really nice so will give it aniother chance - plus my meal was gorgeous so maybe we just hit a bad night for steak!

Enjoyed a nice meal for two here at last Saterday. Tasty Fish Cake, Saffron Aioli, Mixed Leaf Salad to start and followed by the Lamb and a Chicken dish. The fries were very greasy which was a pity. Nice wine selection by the glass. Relaxed atmosphere and no hurry to leave. Will come back.

I ate here with 3 friends last night absolutely fantastic!!service was faultless and the wine and food delicious. We ordered the new zealand summer house sauvingon blanc and it was so nice we ordered another bottle. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the tuna and sea bream delicous, our clean plates said it all. There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This restaurant is a definate must!!

I just stopped here with my wife for early bird menu, unfortunately we stayed here till late evening. All food was absolutely excellent, very tasty and fresh for reasonable prices. Place wasn`t very busy the night we were there and service was superb with wine explanation.Music was very enjoyable as well. We both enjoyed 2 starters, salmon steak and ribeye steak, 2 bottle of wine, one white riesling and the second one shiraz and coffee for €86. Really an excellent value for service and superb food, come back for 100%

I came here last Saturday week with a friend. We were not completely surprised to find the place only half-full considering it is in a business district. In any case, the service was first-class, very friendly and my water-test (tap water on demand) was passed with flying colours. On the less good side, although the starters were great, the mains were mediocre. My friend's rump of lamb was a lump of lamb and quite unappetising. My tuna steak was OK but no more than that. The wine list is good value, and we had the house Corbieres at 22 Euro. It is great to have the wines all available by the glass. However, we found the list a bit small and restrictive for a wine bar. Overall a nice place with nice people, and I will probably go back.

Ate here yesterday evening with my better half. Restaurant was lovely and toastie coming in from the cold evening. Very warm welcome on arrival. Excellent that so many good glasses of wine available rather than just bottles on the wine list. Food was fab - steak perfectly cooked and chunky chips beautifully crispy. His chicken lovely too. Cheese plate - good selection and quality. Overall very enjoyable experience.

Absolutely love this place. From the wine tasting area downstairs to the fab restaurant upstairs. The food is really excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. I had the pate to start and the duck a l'orange. My husband had the steak. We were with another couple and although I can't remember what they ate, we were all very impressed and had no complaints whatsoever. Also you can buy wine in the off license downstairs, pay for corkage and bring it upstairs which reduces the cost. We were very pleasantly surprised with the bill too - excellent value all round.

absolutely fantastic restaurant. Great food, impressed with every dish & wanted to try everything on the menu. It was all reasonably priced for what we got. Food was like something off 'master chef'. Intimate atmosphere. The service was very good, could not be faulted. Can't think of any real criticism.

Three of us went for dinner last night and had a lovely evening. Being a Monday, it wasn't crowded. The service was attentive without being in your face. The wine selection was great and we chose a bottle of Vacqueyras which we liked so much, we had a second. Two of us had the scallops and chorizo for starters and the other had the fish cake. Presentation was beautiful and I thought the scallops were excellent. We all chose fish for our mains, hake and sea breem, good but nothing extraordinary. Overall it was a nice visit and I'd like to go back and try the early bird

Our visit to Eno was very disappointing. We decided to try it on the basis of a review in a newspaper which raved about it and the idea of being able to pick your wine from the shop and downstairs and bring it up to the restaurant. When we walked in to the shop we were discouraged from purchasing in the shop and told that the same wines were on the list in the restaurant (which wasn't the case). The wines are generally very expensive on the list. The food was mediocre and there was little atmosphere in the restaurant. I won't be back.

Have been here twice now. Once with a large work group for Christmas dinner - they were busy but the food was excellent. Service a bit slow initialy and no bread left for us whilst we were waiting which would have been nice as it was a bit of a wait but that is to be expected with the large numbers. 2nd time - with a friend. Again great food - really tasty Italian style fare. Every part of it starter, main and dessert was delicious. OK location. not great for parking however but worth a visit for sure. Great Wine tasting facility downstairs.

Started out the meal with a lovely bottle of wine that was recommended to us by the wine shop staff downstairs and served chilled just minutes later by the restaurant staff. My group of 4 each got a different starter and main course so we could try each others dishes. I started with the Asparagus and goat cheese tart and then had the Fish and Chips, both of which were cooked to perfection and quite hearty for what I was expecting. My co-worker loved the Fillet of Salmon, although she wanted more of the salsa. When she told the staff this, they rushed and gave her a large portion immediately. My other two colleagues really enjoyed their meals and we were all impressed by how quick and efficient the service was. It was our first time but it certainly will not be our last!

Went for pre theatre dinner with a few friends. Have to say we were a larger party than we had booked for but they fitted us in. Overall we were disappointed with the food. Starters were fish cakes(too much potato) and a goats cheese salad (tasty but very few ingrediences excect lots of greens). Mains chicken with pasts (pasta could have been warmer). Salmon was again very tast but it was the smallest fillet i have seen in a while. Two bottles of vino (well priced). Bill €140 for four. Wont be rushing back.

We started our meal with a lovely bellini - thanks menupages! Service was efficient but not overly friendly. I had the scallops to start and they were cooked to perfection. Everything else on the plate really worked well together. The hake was also beautifully cooked. There could be a better selection for vegetarians because there is only one option for a starter and main. It was a very pleasant evening.

Ate here before a concert in the O2 for the Early Bird menu, the food was excellent. I chse the fish cakes to start which were moist and had big chunks of fish in them. For mains I had the steak, it's served with about 6 chunky chips but it was filling enough. Finished off with the chocolate torte which was delicious. Will be returning here for sure.

It's a convenient place to go for lunch to meet your friends during week if you are working in IFSC and the food is also good at very affordable prices. The last time I was there, I had a beans soup as we had to rush quickly and it was quite filling. However, the place itself might be a bit crowded as there isn't that much space between tables and could also be a bit noisy. I am sure it's a different story if you are going there in the evening or at weekend. Will definitely be back there again

What a gem? I was amazed to find this place how have I missed it all these years. They honestly have a little bit of everything. Cheaper options on both food and wine are available but the quality is not compromised. It reminded me of another visited venue but for a younger crowd. Go you won't be disappointed.

Went here with my partner and parents. We had a wonderful meal. The food was really great. The staff were fantastic as one of the party is Coeliac and they went out of their way to explain what was gluten free. Will be back soon. Fab!

I went here with a small group from work for a long lunch having heard great things from some friends who had been. Most of us had the steak, which I thought was only ok, it was a bit fatty and I asked for it cooked medium but it was definitely more like rare. The chips were nice and pepper sauce was good although a bit stingey so I asked for more which was no problem. One of the girls had the green chicken curry which she said wasn't great. Our food came out very quickly but after that we were almost completely forgotten, we had to wave frantically to get someone's attention to order dessert, and then after waiting about 20 mins we had to ask for it and they had clearly forgotten, so we waited about another 15 mins after that. I wouldn't mind but there were only 2 other small tables in the restaurant at the time and 3-4 staff members wandering around! The chocolate brownie dessert was delicious. I might consider going back but not if I only had an hour for lunch!

I went to the menu pages night held at Eno, this is the second menu pages night I have been to and they are getting better every time. The night kicked off with wine tasting down stairs, which was great, highly recommended if you like your wine or if you want to learn about wine. After the wine tasting we walked side ways!!! up stairs to the restaurant where we were treated to a gorgeous three course meal (and more wine). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its something a bit different and great fun. Highly recommend menu pages nights and Eno wine bar / restaurant.A+++

I came here on Sunday afternoon for a late lunch and really enjoyed it. The sun was shining so it was lovely to sit at the outsite tables and enjoy a glass of wine and a very nice Thai beef salad. Everybody I was with enjoyed their food and we also found the service to be very good.

Two of us visited eno for a meal. Chose not to have the early bird and ate from the a la carte. Overall staff very friendly, good wine advice. Chose scallop with chorizo for a starter and lamb for main course. Scallop perfectly cooked, lamb a little fatty and tough, potatoes and veg perfect. Had chocolate brownie for desert nice but a little lacking in walnuts, more of a chocolate sponge. My friend had the apple strudle for desert. It was light and tasty but they had not vanilla ice-cream to serve with it. Thought that a little odd. Used my hi-life card so got one of each course free. Thought it was good value but maybe not if we were paying full price.

This the third time I have eaten here, each time it was with a large group at lunch with work. The service is prompt and efficient.I think it is good but not a great choice if you want to savour and enjoy the meal as an experience. The food is fresh and the portions are not too big so you are able to experience the three courses. The deserts are my favourite - the Eton Mess is just gorgeous however the portion size has reduced each time I have visited but the price is the same.

The Eno is one of the best place to eat in Dublin. The food is top quality and really good value. The choice of wine is broad with fair price (which is very difficult to find in Dublin). The service is perfect and the staff is really skill and friendly. If I had to recommand one restaurant in dublin I would not hesitate a sec; it would be definitely the Eno!

Best value in the area? The food they serve is fabulous and there is plenty of choice for a reasonable price (especially lunch specials). Their wine selection is hard to beat. Their staff is very helpful. If you can’t find something, they will certainly find it for you downstairs in the wine shop. The manager runs a wine club if you are interested. It’s a very good lunch option if you work in the IFSC (and even if you don't). On the way to the O2, the wine bar is 10 minutes walk. The restaurant is on the new Luas line. If you try, you will come back...

This restaurant is my favorite one in Dublin. I definitely recommend it. The service is as it should be: quick, discrete and polite. And the waiters are always giving good advice. The food is great value, well cooked and fresh. For lunchs the cook proposes 3 different weekly specials (at low price, between 11 and 12.50 euros) which are always really good. An early bird menu is also available in the evening. The wine list is very long and the manager is a real wine connaisseur who will be eager to help you making a choice. The atmosphere is perfect, with a nice decoration, space between the tables, fresh flowers on every table and quiet music.

Ate here with a few friends. Busy, great atmosphere, had table from 8pm onwards. Food very good - had foie gras, scallops, veal & steak.followed with a cheeseboard & chocolate brownie for desserts - all recommended but probably too much! Steak is huge. Excellent wine list - had a lovely French red and a dry white both recommended by the waitress. Knowledgeable waitress and very good service. Highly recommended.

Having eaten in many restaurant and wine bar my expectations were very high for Eno. The restaurant is very cozy and had availability eventhough we went there on a friday night without a reservation. The Menu was very good; had plenty of choices. We all found our favorite. Portion size was very good as well. Food was very delicious. No faults. The service was very caring..and last but not least; the wine was heavenly!

Thank you, I leave in the IFSC and it is so great to have this little gemm next door. I usually go for a wine tasting downstairs, then a good dinner upstairs. They have 150 wines or so at an amazing price. If you love food & wine you shouldn't missed it.

Fantastic night My family. 10 of us went to Eno, as per usual the service was friendly and professionnal, they changed the menu since last we where there. Brilliant selection. But the winner is the wine list. Best selection & value I 've seen in dub.

What a find in Dublin! Probably the best value restaurant in the city, definitely the best value wine list I've seen. I had dinner here on Friday with a friend, I had the steak which came out just as I had ordered with a nice helping of thick hand cut chips and a vegetable skewer of sauteed mushrooms and onions, she had the seabream which she found to be tender and succulent. We both had starters which were very tasty and generously sized, washed down with a beautitful Margaux (2003) for only €38 plus €10 corkage which was unbelieveable value. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet relaxed, the service great, low lighting, lots of candles (just the way i like it), a nice crowd afterwork and a cool bar to sit at for a pre-dinner drink.Very NYC. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Visited here last night with 3 others. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient. We had the pre-theatre menu, which was very good value. All the mains were delicious, I had teh chicken with pasta which was particularly good and teh steak whic my aunt has was perfectly cooked. The only small criticism was that the eton mess desert was too creamy and not fruity enough-very small criticism! We all said we would come back.

Went for mid-week lunch with colleagues. Great selection of specials, although the a la carte was a little overpriced for lunch, and a bit out of kilter with the prices in the vacinity. All dishes at our table were well cooked, staff friendly and the atmosphere fine, if not a little harried. Will return.

Tried this restaurant last Friday on the way to O2. The restaurant was very busy, but service was fast and our waitress even recommended a nice bottle of white wine (for only €25) which went well with both of our dishes. Great value for money and excellent service. Will be back for sure.

came on friday night with some friends. the wine list is absolutely splendid and one of the best value in dublin. We had a Margaux in 2003 for €38. The scallops as a starter were fab with a good mix of flavors, i followed with a beautifull 14oz ribeye. A real piece of meat cooked to the perfection. The staff are very friendly and chatting up with you. At the end of the meal we have been offered a digestif . Even if the area is under construction this will be a winner once the luas is finished. The shop downstairs allowed you to drink wine (1400 choice as they said) for a €10 corkage. Well done

I have been in Eno on Thursday evening just before the Boceli concert. This restaurant has been recommended to me from my friends and I must say it was a great choice. We started with glass of wine in the shop downstairs and then we moved to the restaurant. The service was very friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Beside regular dinner menu they also offer a special pre-theatre menu. It is a great value and pretty good choice. I had salmon for my main course and it was the best salmon I ever had in Dublin. I am very pleased that in Dublin still exist restaurant like this.

Three of us stopped for a late lunch - we all enjoyed the Duck Confit; served with perfectly cooked Rosti, Beetroot and Asparagus. At 15 euro this is well priced accomplished cooking. We were conscious that we were the last to leave, yet the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and to take our time. With delicious, high quality food that is keenly priced, coupled with warm service and a wide selection of wines by the glass - this is a winner.

25 of us went here for our Christmas party. Normally with such a large crowd most restaurants would not be able to cope and there would be some complaints. Eno Restaurant were able to manage no problem to them. I had the smoke salmon for starters and it was so good, I then had the steak which was done to perfection and it just melted in my mouth, (nicest steak I have tasted in Dublin). The wine was lovely also. I would highly recommend this place and I can not believe people have never heard of this place. I will be going back here again.

One of my favourites for lunch or dinner. As part of a wine shop, this place has a fantastic wine list which is reasonably priced as these things go. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but you do get what you pay for ... most of the time. Eno does have occasional off days, especially when busy at lunch times. However, while inconsistency is a serious flaw in a restaurant, less than stellar food (once and only once I was served a very bland and watery thai green curry) and being forgotten by the wait-staff for fifteen minutes when you would really like to fit dessert into your lunch break are very much the exception rather than the rule. Like I said, this is one of my favourite places to eat. As other commenters have noted, Eno is very much off the beaten track so it can be cosy and quiet even on a Friday or Saturday evening. The food is inventive, delicious and of very high quality. The duck confit is absolutely stunning, and the scallop starter with fennel, crispy bacon and pernod sauce is a perfect marriage of tastes. Well worth a visit.

Another place I visit regularly for lunch during the working week and have brought out groups there for staff entertainment at Christmas and so forth. Food is always excellent although they took off their best dish in my opinion, the crispy duck! However the duck confit was excellent, the turkey and ham dinner last christmas was really good despite there being 40 of us. Their garlic fried potatoes are really good. They do an excellent caesar salad. And their curries are also excellent. Its in the same general genre as the Ely but I'd rate this above as the food usually is better. Staff are always very helpful and courteous. Unlike the Ely CHQ I would go here for dinner with friends as its atmosphere is much more cosy. It's actually worth a visit even if you do not work in the IFSC.

My first visit was just before Christmas last and was excellent so that was a good start, given the time of year! On this visit, the food and service was just as good (scallops with pea puree were delish)...breads are lovely - toilets are a bit of a hike but that's a small issue really! I thought it was quite good value, to be honest, a lovely relaxing meal.

Two of us had an excellent lunch here yesterday. The calamari to start was delicious, the best I have tasted in a long time. We then both ordered the special which was the lasagne and this was, in one word simply outstanding. I eat here regularly for lunch, because I work in the area and it has always impresses!

Yet another little gem in the centre of Dublin. I went here for the first time the other evening and was quite impressed. The service was prompt and friendly and the food delicious though a bit more on each plate would have been better....or is that just me being greedy? A wide selection of really good wine to please any palate and compliment any food choice from the menu....As Arnie used to say "I'll be back"

First time there last week and I couldn't fault it. Food was gorgeous, I highly recommend the duck ravioli! The service was great. Its a friendly/warm/relaxing place that won't 'break the bank', wasn't packed but is should be, it was that good. Also the fact you can choose from hundreds of wines from the wine shop below and just pay a corkage fee is excellent.

Food is very good but portions are tiny... especially for the price being paid. Service was very poor the day I ate there. Placed our order, waited over 20 minutes for our food only to be told they made a mess of the order so had to order again and wait a further 20+ minutes.

Went here for a friends birthday and have to say was very impressive. Food was top class and service was excellent but food was a bit expensive which seems to be a common theme these days with restaurants!!

A friend had recommended this place to me a while ago. What a fantastic find. The Eno Winebar is located above a wine shop in the IFSC. I went on Friday night and there was a Flamenco guitarist playing in the bar area. Had a couple of cocktails before deciding to stay for dinner. Lovely home made ravioli for me and foie gras for my partner. Both went down well. I had one of the best risottos I have ever tasted for my main but it didn't stop me trying my friend's chicken which was very tasty. Shared a tiramisu for dessert which went down well. Service was excellent. A really interesting place to go even if it is a bit off the beaten track.

Went here with a small group from work on a Thursday night and had a great meal. The calamari starter was nice as were the spring rolls. One colleague found the pasta a bit bland but the Seabass, Beef Sirloin and Lamb were all delicous. The wine menu was extensive as expected and we had some really good bottles at a reasonable price. The cheese plate for dessert requested to be for 2 was rather stingy (definitely not to be shared). All in all a good experience

Myself and a friend went along for a lovely leisurely lunch and were both really impressed with the decor, food and of course the wine menu. The music could possibly be a little more mellow but apart from that everything was perfect. We will certainly return.

Relaxing ambience, very good service. Quality of ingredients is excellent at reasonable prices. Great novelty with ability to taste different wines (self service to a pre-paid card) by the glass

Went there after work to relax after a hard week. Ambience perfect. Specials were off so had to resort to remaining options - chicken for my colleague and duck for me - delicious and good value. A good choice of wines by the glass - something for everyone. Live music later on which suited the mood.

We visited Eno Winebar after work on Friday. It is a very nicely presented place, with really friendly, efficient staff. Although the food was delicious, the portions were Tiny! On the way home we were half thinking of getting a pizza slice!! Felt that at the prices they're charging, we could have gotten far better value for money. For example, a cheese plate with 5 tiny slivers of cheese and crackers came to €10.50?!? On the up-side we did enjoy picking from their extensive wine list and being given the opportunity to try a couple before we chose a bottle. Nice for a treat, but definitely couldn't see myself becoming a regular!

Food and service excellent, atmosphere quiet, but then again we visited on a Monday. No delays and the only thing we had to ask for was the bill. Wish we could have stayed for the afternoon enjoying the wine......

Fabulous staff, wonderful eating, very trendy and chic, how come some places can get it all right? I love it, looking forward to a visit again.

Lovely food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, casual atmosphere. Unlike most overpriced restaurants in Dublin city centre, we managed to get a table without having to book it 2 weeks in advance... Very extensive wine list and most are available by the glass. The manager was more than happy to tell us about their wine tasting courses and took our email address to send us more information. Would highly recommend the Enowine Bar.

Visited this small and most wonderful restaurant last week. It reminded me of a wonderful little gem sparkling with joy and little elf like waitresses running around, how helpful kind and delightful did they jump at my every request. The manager was extremely attentive and showed much competence in his knowledge of wine. Myself and my partner will be back no doubt to once again visit the magical secretly hidden room. Thank you eno and staff.

Our recent visit to the Enowine bar was not one that will be repeated. The waiting staff were utterly incompetent, displaying absolute inability to get our orders correct, the hand-held device on which orders are taken didn't seem to work. The manager was completely detached from anything going on in the place, the food took about an hour and a half to arrive...I could go on...suffice to say, service was non-existent. Food when it came (at this point, I would have eaten my own arm) was quite nice, though very very heavily salted, make your own guess why... A frustrating evening - I cannot recommend this at all.

High praise for this new venture secreted in the heart of the IFSC. One does not know what to expect upon entry, however when greeted with beautiful waitresses in an atmosphere as warm and welcoming as your mothers arms your heart begins to flutter with expectation. The elegantly composed menu spoils you for choice, but after some perusal I settled on the Thai crab and salmon cake for starters and the osso bucco special for main. Working in the restaurant industry myself I had a fair idea what to expect yet when the food arrived (promptly, I might add) I was delighted with the immaculate presentation, the simplistic use of good quality ingredients and the sheer joy, which was in the eating. This is truly a wonderful little restaurant, whether to go with a large group to drink late into the night at the stylish metal bar, or quiet clandestine business affairs conducted at one of the more private tables in the back, I highly recommend Enowine Bar.

A wine bar that does not put vintages and/or producers on about half the wines on the list is not a wine bar, and as for the service it doesn't do that very well either. On the plus side the decor is really nice so if they ever get their house in order it could be a welcome addition to Dublin.

We went on a quite busy night with a fairly large (noisy) group who seemed to be having a good time. Our pre-booked table was right beside them and the manager offered us a new (quieter) table without prompting, which suited us very well. The service was a little disjointed because there appeared to be a technical hitch with the ordering system, but all the errors were sorted with courtesy and efficiently. Our wines were excellent and the food was good value by Dublin standards. We will go again. Nice place.

This wine bar is quite new, and the decor is lovely. However, they have a few teething problems to iron out. I was there on a Friday night with a large group - apart from us, the place was almost empty. It still took them about 90 minutes to bring everyone their food. They got some of the order wrong, and brought out the food at different times. At the end they tried to overcharge us for 3 bottles of wine (though I've no reason to believe this wasn't an honest mistake). The food was lovely when it eventually did arrive.

Only visit the Eno Wine Bar IFSC on a full stomach! The concept of service is clearly one that the staff & management of the Eno are unacquainted with. While the manager entertained friends at a nearby table we waited two hours for our food - seriously! At no point was any apology or explanation offered and to add insult to injury by the end of a long evening having finally got our food, a bill was presented whereby 3 bottles of wine had magically become 6. A frustrating and unsatisfying evening - Eno Wine Bar IFSC most certainly NOT to be recommended.
