The cuisine of Brazil reflects the countrys mix of native Amerindians, Portuguese, Africans, Italians and Spanish among others. All of these settlers used foods and cooking styles and recipes brought from their homelands and changed them, using the local ingredients. This has created a national cooking style marked by the preservation of regional differences.
