I have eaten here on a few occasions over the years with differing company. I have always found the atmosphere to be good with large well cooked portions the norm. Value for money is very good in my opinion, however the service can be a little slack at times. Overall I would highly reccommend this establishment for a bite to eat.

Nice place.Had a dinner there with some friends.The service was excellent as the waiter was really nice & helpful & the food was tasty.It is real pub food, so the portions are nice & big, no fear you would still be hungry after having your dinner there!We repectively had the seafood chowder,lasagne & pork with apples.All were nice & tasty. The apple & rhubarb crumble for dessert was great too. Prices were really reasonable.I would go back if I happen to be around Skibbereen some other time...
