We had a super time at the Waterside Resturant. We were on a short break and celebrating a birthday. We had a party of 10 people dining in the Bistro and the food was delicious. We really felt we got super cusine, value for money and the ambience was really lovely. The owner's were very friendly as were the staff. We enjoyed it so much my Husband and I with our two children went back for Sunday Lunch and again we had a great experience. We are return to Schull for a couple of weeks in August and really look forward to trying the formal resturant and of course we will visit the Bistro again with the children. Highly recommended!!

Probably the best food in Schull!! On a wet & windy June eveing we were made very welcome by the continental hosts. Between us we enjoyed fresh brill, surf & turf and one of the best rib eye steaks I've ever had. All the food was freshly cooked with quality ingredients and showed thoughout with great flavours. We're already planning a return visit and looking forward to it. They also have a bistro next door with a somewhat different menu as an option.

We had lunch here on Sunday and ordered Seafood chowder - it was so awful we sent it back - cornfloury and salty. We then ordered 2 sandwiches which when they arrived were wrong. We sent those back clarified to a very nice waitress what we had ordered and this time one was incorrect. However as we were there a half an hour at this stage we said nothing. It is a pity as Schull really needs a good eatery. Staff were lovely though and really need support but they need to get it right. €25 for 2 toasted sambos , 2 coffees and 2 glasses of red wine
