Nice simple food, quite overpriced for what you get but it is wholesome and if anything the portions are too big. The service was pretty bad but they were all young teenage girls who obviously weren't being given any direction. If we had seen the lady chef standing outside the door at the main entrance having a cigarette when we were on the way in we would have never have gone i,n but as we saw her on the way out there was not much we could do.

Good pub grub at a reasonable price. Friendly staff and a good pint of Guinness. Perfect spot for lunch on a sunny day

Good wholesome homecooked bar food in Schull. There is always an atmosphere in the Bunratty Inn,especially on a sunny day when you can sit outside and watch the world go by.They offer a wide selection of dishes on an extensive menu and we enjoyed plenty of fresh fish options on several visits. The staff are friendly and you are never left waiting long for your order to be taken.

We went there for lunch and were so very much disappointed with the staff and the locals. As they knew we were tourists just visiting we were treated with a huge display or arrogance and unfriendlynes. We even didn't finish our dishes (which were average anyway) and left for a other place in Schull where we had a nice lunch in a nice atmosphere. Not recommended.

I was working in West Cork and spotted the Bunratty Inn while walking in Schull. There were people eating outside and the menu looked good. I had the burgers with chips which also came with a selection of veg. Both the main course and side orders were really good. The relaxed atmosphere of the place helped as i was on my own. Service was very good and if I ever get the chance to be in Schull again, this is one place I will be calling in to for dinner. Top marks.

Really decent pub grub and portion sizes are massive, the amount of vegetables and potatoes which come with it are a meal in themselves. Had the crab and it was lovely and my girlfriend had a steak sandwich (should have got that!!). Excellent quality food, good atmosphere and reasonable prices (the Guinness is not that bad either!!).

The food probably is not the main reason to come here but I'd definitely recommend it for a pint or a hot whiskey beside their cosy turf fireside. Lots of old pub memorabilia and a genuine atmosphere made this the perfect place for a pit stop after a day in the fresh air. I'll be back the next time I'm in Schull!

It's hard to come by a nice restaurant or eatery in Schull. The Bunratty is nice pub grub but nothing spectacular. Nice on a sunny day to sit outside.

Thid is an old fashioned type of pub wih the usual pub grub - steak, battered fish and chips wilted salad. Coffee not bad though. Would not return unless nowhere else to eat which can often be the case in Schull

The only place I have eaten in that you pay for the food before you get it. When I asked the waitress what will we (3) do if we don't like the food and it's paid for already, "you will like it" was the response. Never before has this happened to me.
