We had a lovely scenic drive from Kinsale to Glandore and hoped we could get something nice to eat to match the view. We had been in this pub a few years ago and it was just an average bar with sandwiches & soup - not great. What transformation! The pub had been given a facelift and the food was to die for! I had a terrific chicken dish with whole roast garlic and basil oil & my husband had an amazing proper beer batter cod & chips - both with fresh salads. The staff couldn't be nicer and did everything in their power to accommodate my gluten free & pregnancy diet. We'll be back! And the views are incredible!

As far as a lite seafood lunch and breathtaking scenery goes, this comes second to none, in this country anyway. I sat overlooking Glandore Bay in balmy sunshine way up on the side of a hill the view reaching out into the Atlantic. I savored an open brown home made bread sandwich with Salmon and Prawns,Coleslaw and Potato salad, absolutely fantastic. The food and the view went hand in hand. The service excellent too. You couldn't pay enough for food and a view like it. Go There!!
