Taste of the Sufi's! We were the first ASIAN and HALAL food retail in the North Inner City Dublin. We introduced many ethnic products for the growing multi-ethnic minorities in Dublin & Ireland. Due to this authentication and dedication, we were awarded the best curry in Ireland. In 2006, we opened our "Madina Desi Curry Co." at 60 Mary Street which is a non-alcoholic restaurant. We sell the taste of Desi traditional and original home made currys, biryanis and for the first time in Ireland, we introduced "Masalla Dosa & Idli".

Unfortunate. The food here used to be really really good, but I haven't been in a while and when I went this week I was disappointed at how oily my curry was. It was really very very oily..too much oil and this ruined the food. Great the way the meat is served on the bone and the sauce ingredients taste great, only without all the oil! Please reduce the amount of oil you are using and I shall return. The staff are nice and the place is fine, prices are right..but the oil, no. There are alot other Indian food restaurants out there that pride themselves on some dishes cooked without any oil, and they taste great.

Dropped in for Lunch and it was great, "Curry in a hurry" and a can for a tenner or so. I was given the option of mild/med/spicy and on/off bone. Curry was tasty, fresh and a huge portion. Highly recomended.

Came here for a spot of dinner before a night on the tiles. Curry is very nice and lots of choices for very little money. Starters and sides are very large portions. You could easily have a couple of side dishes instead of a main if you fancied something a bit different. This place is really close to where I live and very handy for shopping so I am sure I will be back very soon. Recommended.
