Stayed in this hotel recently on a B&B plus Dinner bases. Lannigans Restaurant was closed so we were informed that dinner would be served in Oscars Bar. We arrived around 7pm to the sound of a child screaming their head off and two other children running around the bar as if it was a play ground, not what we planned for a nice romantic meal. We decided to wait for a while but felt sorry for the other people who had already order their food and were trying to enjoy it. The girl attending the bar apologised for the noise, but it was not her fault. We returned about 30mins later to the sound of silence, Bliss...... We had a lovely meal a nice bottle of wine and the staff were very attentive and professional. I would recommend this bar for food and service.

We stayed in the hotel for the weekend and so ate there when we arrived, the food was ok nice enough but nothing I would rush back for (the next night we went somewhere else so it wasn't that good!). The service was good, very friendly staff.
