This is an institution in the locality to judge from the stream of customers coming in for wine & cheese & other delights. We had lunch outside on rather rickety chairs with some rather determined wasps but we loved it. Lunch was basically whatever you selected from the deli counter . We had four delicious cheeses and great bread. Simple and delightful and cheap. The atmosphere is rather higgeldy piggeldy and the owner is clearly passionate about food. It is well worth a roadside stop if travelling from Bantry to Glengariffe. We returned another ay and bought great cheeses and wines but sadly I overheard the owner saying that he plans to close for the winter this year so get there before he closes!
