We went here to eat on a Sunday as a family, reccommended by my sister. For starters we each had vegetable soup which was tasty but quite watery. I enjoted the bread which accompanied it. I ordered chicken with bacon bits in a mushroom sauce. The chicken was beautiful and the sauce was of perfect condidtency, I couldn't really taste the bacon bits. The dinner was served with potatoes and vegetables, the potatoes were lumpy and sort of spicy, because of this I didnt eat them, the vegetables however were beautiful except the cauliflour which had a horrible white sauce, it was bitty. The variety of desserts was not great and most were heavy, not what you want from a dessert, however I ordedred a creme brulee which was perfect, I loved it to bits and would go back to the restaurant just for it. The place was quite cramped and as they were busy the staff were slow to serve but quite friendly anyway.

The menu in this restaurant looked great. That's why we decided to eat there. It was empty which is understandable for a monday. The staff were nice and the service was fine. But the food was really disappointing. We ordered the bbq ribs to share as a starter and it was actually really nice and my only complaint is that it could’ve been a bigger portion. As a main course I ordered a pepperoni pizza and wedges and my other half ordered a Hawaiian pizza. The pepperoni pizza was absolutely covered in grease. We used 2 napkins to soak it up and it was still soaking. It was barely edible. The Hawaiian pizza was ok but we’ve had better from fast food outlets. The wedges were from the freezer and tasted like they were ordered in a garage deli. I would not eat in this restaurant again which is a pity because the menu was varied and interesting. I regret not trying one of the daily seafood specials which may have been better.

My boyfriend and I eat here once every couple of nights. It usually coincides with a trip to the cinema as they are very near each other. I've sampled many things on the menu and they are all lovely but the pizzas are by far the nicest, infact they're delicious. reason I gave 3.5 out of 5 for atmosphere is because I feel the tables could be spread out a small bit more. For pizza lovers out there, this place is a must. You get good value for money and the staff are very friendly and efficient.

We went here last year on our anniversary, and really enjoyed our meal, so we thought we'd go again this year. Well, my husband had a lovely meal, and the food we got was very good, however they didn't have any option other than pizza for vegetarians, and when I said OK so to pizza, they forgot to put in the order for pizza for me. I ended up twiddling my napkin while my husband enjoyed his lasagna. When the mistake was realised, it was too late to go ordering pizza, so I got a tiny bowl of salad leaves instead. I really think they could do with another option for vegetarians, even if the pizza is good, it's nice to have another choice, if pizza isn't your thing.

I ate here a few weeks ago with my girlfriend, it looked busy so we thought we'd try it. I didn't like the furniture and the floor of the room, they made it look like a cheap diner. The lighting was also too bright. I liked the French Onion Soup for starters, then I got tuna steak for mains which was a bit tough. I also asked for loads of garlic on it which I didn't get. The tuna was served with loads of iceberg lettuce and peppers which unfortunately made my dish look like pub grub more than restaurant food. My girlfriends sea bass was the same, it would have looked and gone down better if it was even served on its own with some simple veg as the fish was nice and very fresh. Don't think I'd go here again if I was in Bantry.

as a chef I highly reccommend this restaurant on main street Bantry...lovely and quick management touch on arrival....very spacious seating arrangements. lovely fat chicken wings to start not too sure about the blue cheese dip...main course i had stuffed lemon sole in a seafood sauce.....delicately cook to perfection and stuffed with salmon served with fresh broccoli and braised red cabbage....pizzas are freshly made and you can tell....hot choc brownie for dessert very reasonably priced...worth a visit

I've eaten here many times, it's a great restaurant with really good food and a good selection on the menu. Always a nice atmosphere there, by day and night, and it's not very expensive.
