We went here to eat on a Sunday as a family, reccommended by my sister. For starters we each had vegetable soup which was tasty but quite watery. I enjoted the bread which accompanied it. I ordered chicken with bacon bits in a mushroom sauce. The chicken was beautiful and the sauce was of perfect condidtency, I couldn't really taste the bacon bits. The dinner was served with potatoes and vegetables, the potatoes were lumpy and sort of spicy, because of this I didnt eat them, the vegetables however were beautiful except the cauliflour which had a horrible white sauce, it was bitty. The variety of desserts was not great and most were heavy, not what you want from a dessert, however I ordedred a creme brulee which was perfect, I loved it to bits and would go back to the restaurant just for it. The place was quite cramped and as they were busy the staff were slow to serve but quite friendly anyway.

The menu in this restaurant looked great. That's why we decided to eat there. It was empty which is understandable for a monday. The staff were nice and the service was fine. But the food was really disappointing. We ordered the bbq ribs to share as a starter and it was actually really nice and my only complaint is that it could’ve been a bigger portion. As a main course I ordered a pepperoni pizza and wedges and my other half ordered a Hawaiian pizza. The pepperoni pizza was absolutely covered in grease. We used 2 napkins to soak it up and it was still soaking. It was barely edible. The Hawaiian pizza was ok but we’ve had better from fast food outlets. The wedges were from the freezer and tasted like they were ordered in a garage deli. I would not eat in this restaurant again which is a pity because the menu was varied and interesting. I regret not trying one of the daily seafood specials which may have been better.
