The Ouvane Falls is a fine stop if you are looking for a no frills dinner . Nothing special about the food or the place. Location is handy off the main road and they serve food all day.Waiting staff are generally inexperienced teenagers who just about take your order. Some interesting customers provide entertainment at the bar.

On driving past the Ouvane Falls i decided to stop with the family for a nights stay & an evening meal. We had a great evening meal with the whole family enjoying their food. We then watched & joined in with the Irish Dancing. The family bedroom room was big & spacious, after a great night's sleep we got up to a Full Irish Breakfast. We said our good bye's & left, I have made a note to return on our next tour of Ireland.

Well I can't recommend a dish for this venue. I started with the oak smoked mackerel which to say the least wasn't up to much. I didn't finish it. I then had the Steak,Mushroom and Guinness Pie which was the oddest pie I have ever seen and there was far too much sauce and not enough content(Filling),the pie appeared to have collapsed or imploded. The service wasn't much better, people that arrived in after us were served before us. Value was just ok for what we got. The place itself looks unclean. Needs renovation. Give it a miss!
