I went with my partner on saturday afternoon to eat a late lunch and as it was after 2pm I was pleasently suprised to find they served lunch till 4.30 which is great. That is as far as great went.... we ordered enchildas which had no corriander or flavour, my partner had a steak sandwich which came in small pieces rather than a large piece of steak on rustic piece of bread. He said it was not so good and was not able to pick it up as the sandwich lacked a bread top. we ordered 2 glasses of house white which came in tacky little bottles and the place was cold and slightly scruffy looking. I am not quite sure what this bistro is trying to be as it has more of a cafe feel and at best a low grade cafe. we ordered a sticky toffee pudding to share and when it came yet again we were let down by a few small slices of cold sponge that had little taste and a dribble of toffee sauce and squirty plastic cream. the coffees arrived before the pud and when we asked if we could have them after they seemed put out. All in all a very disppointing trip and would not go back as the bill camje to 50 € which was a shock.

I adore this place, have eaten breakfast and lunch here on numerous occasions, planning an evening trip soon. Their daily soup, which is always a different variety is beautiful, served piping hot with fresh bed. Theres a great selection of sandwiches/wraps for lunch and always generous & fresh fillings. Service is excellent at lunchhour during the week, can be a little lax on Saturdays, probably not as many staff on.

I went there last week and I was very impressed, six of us had our food in brilliant time and the staff were lovely, the only downside was they asked us to leave as it was closing time, i thought this was rather odd but other than that no complaints. I hope to visit again soon
