Awarded 'BEST FOOD AND DRINK EXPERIENCE 2010' BY D15 Chamber of Commerce The AA rosette 2011 award winning Park Restaurant at Castleknock Hotel is a premier Dublin steak restaurant open nightly from 5.30pm. Upon entering 'The Park', guests will be impressed with the elegant ambience of candlelit tables at night, soft music, stunning decor with parkland and lake views of the hotel's golf course and gardens, perfect for a romantic meal or a relaxing dining experience. The Park Restaurant was recently used in February 2011 for filming of the new series of Come Dine With Me to be shown on TV3 later in the year. With seating for up to 60 guests, the Park restaurant offers an exquisite A la carte menu complemented by an extensive wine list and is highly regarded as one of the top restaurants in Blanchardstown and the surrounding area. All The Park Restaurant steaks are 21 day 'dry aged' to maximise flavour and enjoyment and are traceable as 100% Irish from 'farm to fork'. The chef's special includes a 16oz T-Bone Steak or the mouth watering Chateaux Briand. The restaurant also includes a vegetarian option and some delicious fish dishes.

I thought this place was more of a joke than a hotel, the food was below average and the service was the worst iv ever had. I would think that a hotel would employ professional waiters and staff but this place does not. The staff was extremely rude and late with our food with any explanation. When I asked for extra sauce as my food was so late it had dried up the girl roled her eyes and almost stormed off to get it. The food when we got it was nice but I would prefer not to go back due to the poor service and rude employees.

Tried the wine and dine menu for 59 on friday night. choice of 3 starters, mains and deserts incl bottle of good south african wine. shared the mussel starter and it was only ok.i ordered the medallions of beef for a surcharge and opted for medium rare. when they arrived they were more or less cooked through but still juicy.hubby ordered sirloin, medium rare which was cooked to his liking. i ordered icecream selection for desert which was served in a nice brandy basket. hubby ordered creme brulee, which was still not set when it arrived on the table. it was replaced promptly with a chocolate parfait which was full of ice lumps! tea/coffee was never offered even though it was on the menu. food was ok/good for the price but still room for improvement
