Called in here again today was pleasant on my last visit. Again the staff were v. good, as for the food.... The soup was excellent. We then had four meals - 2 of us had beef option to find that if felt preprepared and then reheated, it would have been lovely fresh, as for reheating boiled potato's ??? felt as if from the microwave very disappointing. One serving of plaice this was good and fresh and one serving of nuggets and chip needless to say this was fine. Also venue was quiet cold, was informed the boiler had been switched off, this was not rectified until we enquired despite quiet a few of us in coats in the dining area.... most likely this was just a one off as it was the 27th Dec but still very poor as the price of food did not reflect what we were offered.

Good menu choices - nice variety of locally sourced food - always reassuring! Starter choices all very appealing! Attention to service is terribly slow and not friendly - no banter - staff a little austere which one does not expect in a small rural town!
