Went with some friends for Women's Little Christmas. I usually really enjoy this chinese but I was a bit disappointed with the food. I just got a main course. There were frozen vegetables in the dish and it just really didn't look impressive. However this was the only downfall. The portions were a good size and the Kung Po sauce was lovely. The restaurant was quite busy, yet the service was good as always. The staff are friendly and attend to every need. The atmosphere was nice as it was busy. The tables were well spread out so it wasn't too cramped. It is very reasonably priced so I suppose you pay for what you get.

Disappointing experience following two gloeing reviews on MenuPages.. Frozen assorted veg used in the dishes wish was unappetising although flavour of both dishes were lovely. Sezchuan chicken sauce was a little watery and fried rice was not up to scratch and very dark brown in colour. Not a 5* meal.

The absolute best Chinese restaurant I've been to in a very long time. The food is outstanding - chicken satay is delicious and the beef in black bean is mouthwatering!!!! Honestly if you like Chinese food and love the atmosphere of a proper chinese restaurant then this is the place to be. Service is excellent and the place is spotless - will definately be returning in the very near future :)

Without a doubt one of the finest Chinese Restaurants in Cork City and County. This is a lovely restaurant, spotlessly clean with outstanding food, service, and quality. I've been to nearly all of Cork's Chinese Restaurants but always find myself coming back to the Hong Kong. Top Marks!!

A fantastic example of what a chinese restaurant should be. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive, running to refill your glass as soon as it reaches halfway point. The food is excellent, lovingly cooked and is great value. The highpoint of this reastaurant is for me the setting. The place is full of chinese cabinets loaded with chinese ornaments and pottery. Beautiful pictures adorn the walls, particularly noticeable is the giant photo of Hong Kong, the restaurants namesake. Call in around the New Year and you may even be lucky enough to leave with a complimentary Chinese zodiac calendar!

Lovely food here in the sit down part. Food was always nice but nearly every time I got a take away, it has been very poor. Would recommend sitting down at the restaurant for a meal though. Have been many times & really enjoyed the meal when sitting down. Staff are nice & friendly & will help you out if your having any sort of a special night, like a birthday, work party or special event.

I find it hard to recommend just one dish. I have tried a variety of others from this restaurant in the past and all are superb, you can't go wrong. All are cookd to perfection. The staff are friendly and helpful. You get what you pay for with generous portions.
