Was in youghal for week with family and am glad we discovered this restaurant on the first night! Ate here 3 out of 5 nights and all of us enjoyed all of our food each time. Very simply food well executed. The carpaccio was particularly good. Staff very attentive and wonderful atmosphere. Great courtyard at the back of the restaurant also.

Unreal value for money with friendly staff Suggest having the homemade wrap, you have a choice of fillings but the highlight is that the chef makes them fresh !! It's a light crisp pizza base with a hint of garlic, not over powering or heavy like some doughy bases can be. Served with homemade chips or salad. The tables are beautiful layed out. was extremely impressed

Very nice meal in lovely surroundings. Great choice of dishes on menu and lovely pizza menu. Very friendly staff. Overall excellent Value for money.

A super little restaurant in the heart of the town; recommended to us by friends and we've been back each time we've been down holidaying in the area. We have always had the fish dishes(for starters & mains) and they've never been anything other than wonderful. This is a restaurant that doesn't fuss around with the paraphenalia that many restaurant who aspire for top marks do; it's simply very tasty, high quality food and it really feels like its cooked with passion. (as an aside, with the numbers we found online for the restaurant didn't work! we eventually got this one from directory enquiries which worked! 02490125) enjoy!

My partner and I stumbled upon La Bella Roma by chance. After taking in our options on North Main Street we decided on La Bella Roma mainly because of the atmosphere and the reasonably priced mains (14.50 euros). Found the atmosphere absolutely lovely and the food, gorgeous. I chose the roast chicken which was accompanied with delicious roasted vegetables. My other half chose the rack of lamb, which he thoroughly enjoyed, and from the little taster he spared for me, so did I! The restaurant also appears to have a hidden treasure in the back; an Italian style garden. I look forward to re-visiting La Bella Roma and enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the garden when the weather gets better. I would - and already have - recommended La Bella Roma to friends and family.

I was on a break with my family and we went to this restaurant, did not like it at all. Very small, and tables to close together. We had the early bird which seemed like good value, but I felt the portions were very small. The food, was nothing special. My husband had the duck spring rolls the portion was tiny. I just felt you got early bird portions to match the price. ?. Trying to get through the restaurant to get to the toilet was like an obstacle course, avoiding tables (so close together) and the waiting staff as they went about there business. Would not return.

This place lacks something!!!! - Space- Place is newely re-opened and tables are too tightly packed together. not good value. Food basic. recomended to go by a local B&B. Sorry we took their advice.Spoiled our night will never go back again.
