Overall, a great dining experience. I had the lasagne, partner had tagliatelle carbonara. Despite there being a strand of hair in partner's dish, the quality of the food was authentic italian and the waiting staff were helpful and eager to please.

La Trattoria is a nice place to try if you like pizza. The menu is quite varied with a lot of choice. I had the hot and spicy pizza when I was there which was very good value considering it was loaded with topping. The atmosphere is average but the food makes up for this.

Atmosphere of the place was nice and the staff were good. However, the menu was quite limited and although portion sizes were large it lacked quite a bit of flavour.

Pizzas are fine and breakfast is good if you fancy a fry but otherwise this is greasy food with no flair or flavour and if the place is busy the service can be awful.

nice atmosphere. pasta dishes were nice with generous portion, thought the meat dishes were a bit expensive though considering it's relatively small portions. would not go back in a hurry.

Myself and partner had the most romantic Valentines meal ever. Let me say that from the moment we entered we were treated fabulously, the five course meal was extraordinary, sambuca shots during the meal - a great treat & champagne reception - a lovely touch. All for €37.50 per person. The whole restaurant was decked out with balloons, tables all dressed up with a love theme and finally a live musician playing love tunes all night long. Tell me where else could you find this? Finally the food was excellent...we will be back. Ps. we have booked already for next year.

Went here at the weekend with my boyfriend. Food was ok, but would not recommend it hugely. Boyfriend got rack of lamb, it was tiny on a bed of potato (tiny) and gravy. It was very fatty and wasn't worth the €19! I got salmon and rice which was okay. Starters were okay but small and pricey, apple crumble was tiny was dessert. I got a cappuccino which was lovely! We were sitting near the door and it was freezing! Overall the service was good and quick but food was a letdown, maybe if we got something else!
