I am sorry to say that the experience I had here was nothing short of appalling. At first impression, this restaurant seemed like a place that don't accept young people. We had a get together from work and the staff were quite rude to say the least. Our group was in no way disturbing. Tables that arrived 30minutes after our one were been served before us, 2 of our starters were cold and one of our main courses were cold. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress she simply took the plate, said nothing and returned 15mins later with a new one. I will not be returning here nor will i recommend any friends or family to come here. I'm not usually the complaining type but I thought this should be known - especially to the younger people

Stopped by for breakfast one morning and ordered a scone and a bap. The scone was far too floury and that was all I could taste. The menu lists an assortment of baked croissants but they did not look that appealing. The bap was anything spectacularly out of the ordinary, but it was yummy though. It was just under 3 euro for a cup of tea, and when i ordered one of the teas that were listed on the menu under a section dedicated entirely to the various tea flavours on offer, i was told that they didnt carry that flavour anymore. Not too big a deal, but makes me wonder why bother listing the specific flavours at all? There werent too many people when I was there, but the waitress was nice and very friendly.

Went for a quick toasted sandwich with work colleages at lunch time. Most enjoyable. Great value and sandwich was very tasty. Service excellent. Staff very friendly. The only thing that I found was I felt the place was a bit hot.

Booked a table in the cabin for two. First there would not have been a need as there was nobody there when we went in and later one table of four. It was my idea to go with a friend, but I can say never again, I was so embarassed. The food was dreadful , no atmosphere- so what can I say. The waitress was attentive, but that is not enough. Won't be going there again.

Went for a meal for a birthday recently. Food and service was top class. Well recommended. The atmosphere there and in the Captains Table and the whole Flying Enterprise complex was great.

Quite a nice restaurant. It's a good place to go for Sunday lunch, especially if you like sport as they often show matches on a big screen. The food here is pleasant and the staff are very friendly.

Lovely place. We went there for Dinner on a Thursday evening. We where surprised about the really nice decoration in the Restaurant and the lovely prepared tabels. We arrived late and weher the only customers, but the service was always there very friendy and just brilliant. The starters taste good but one more piece of cheese and a little bit less sauce and more ham in the Mushroom starter would be nice. Main courses whole Seabass and salmon stuffed with prawns are perfect and the walk after dinner was a must because the veg and potato selection are soo good as the Fish. We will come again. Thanks

I have eaten here a couple of times, each time the pub was empty making the atmosphere non existent. The staff are very friendly which does make up for it a little. I felt the menu was over ambitious for pub grub especially considering the food did not rise to the occasion. I would not be in a hurry to return.

Nothing to shout about. Ate here with a large group last week and the opinions ranged from average to poor. Service was inattentive and not particularly friendly. Food is okay but nothing you can't get in numerous places around town at nearly half the price. In my view, the sort of place that thrived when there was a lot of money sloshing around but they will need to up their game now.

with regards to atmosphere we were in the Captains Table at 6.30 for my daughters 40 birthday for which she wanted no fuss. We had 4 children with us aged from 1 less than 2. one aged 8 and two aged approx 4. So we made our own atmosphere. It was quiet at the time. Food was great. Starters excellent. downside No early bird available until Monday. When I booked I was told as I was not bringing Cake (lowkey affair) They would make a special dessert with candles as a surprise for her and to please the children and make it seem like a birthday party . This did not happen. When told it was supposed to be special some candles were added but it was a disappointment. Still I will be going back again on 22/2/09 for another birthday
