This is probably one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. To be honest I debated whether or not to pay for my food at all but decided to avoid a fuss so I did. I had chicken satay to start which was very tasteless. For my main I had beef with brocolli which didnt actually contain any brocolli. The beef was honestly like eating rubber it was so tough and in the end I just gave up. Although I can't remember what he had, my boyfriend also hated his food. Also, the decor is terrible which doesn't help. Wouldn't go back to this restaurant if you paid me.

Went here for lunch and decided to try the 10euro lunch buffet. In terms of the variety of food offered it was not great. For starter there were prawn crackers and chicken tom yam soup available. The soup was quite salty i thought but contained a generous amount of chicken and mushrooms. The main courses offered were prawn green curry, vegetable stir fry, chicken and cashew nut and a beef dish. The sides available were boiled rice, fried rice and fried noodles. Tried everything but the beef. Taste-wise was pretty decent, mild enough but not bland. The buffet is not self-service and the person serving i found was pretty stingy with the portions. Had two rounds of food and was pretty full and contented. Good value for money, will definitely go again.

This used to be my favourite Thai in Cork. Came here recently and I was a bit disappointed. It was early bird and granted I could have had something off the main menu but I didnt. I do think that their early bird offered good value... a starter a main and a drink for 16.99 but there wasnt a huge choice like you get in the other thai restaurants around the place. I was unhappy with my started but I thought that my main was lovely. My friend thought that his red curry was bland. I tasted it and it was. There was no kick to it although he asked for it spicy. It isnt bad... but its no longer my favourite.

This is one of my favourite restaurants, so when we with my 6 work mates had to decide where to go for the dinner, I offered “Ruen Thai”. We have ordered all different meals and could taste different dishes. Everything was very nice presented and tasty, service vas excellent (as always here). My friends said that they will come back again.

We visited here as a large group, and the staff were very attentive to our needs. We ordered from the set menu, which was certainly good value compared to their regular prices, which was overpriced. Our group agreed that their tomyam goong soup was a bit too salty, but my main of cashew nut and chicken in a spicy sauce was pretty good. Their pad thai had huge portions. Atmosphere was nice enough although the decor does not seem authentically Thai. I wouldn't particularly be too keen on going back

We have been in this restaurant several times, most recently with my French friends who came to visit for a few days. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere very friendly and relaxed. The plus is you can look down at busy Patrick street from the tables near the windows.There are always fresh flowers around, which I find a real touch of class. The food... well, let's just say, every time I went there, there were at least 2 tables occupied by Asian families... A good sign!

i would said this is one authentic Thai food restaurant in cork. the ingredient they used is very different compare to the other. i can go here everyday for my dinner.

Excellent food, very tasty, full of flavour, the service while friendly and professional was a little long between dishes. Would go back again and would rave about to friends

I went to this resturant for a hen party in November and was so disapointed as all the previous reviews had been so good. First of all when i booked i had pick a set menu as this was good value and everyone could have a taste of everything. When we arrived the waiter handed out the menu and i had to inform him to collect the menus as we had previously selected the set menu. The we were told they had ran out of there wine licence so we could not be served wine. The we had to tell the wait staff to collect dishes each time we were finished a couse as there were not attentive To make a long story short it was a disaster and i would not recommend it

Nice place good food. Service is ok small bit pricey. Could do with some sort of lunch time special for these recessionary times. Will be back as the grub is so damn tasty.

Had a work party here where we were provided with a large selection of the main courses to share. Could not fault one. The food was fantastic and the service was great also. Lovely decor. Nothing bad to say!
